None of the choices in Kajitsu mean anything CG wise, except the last choice in every route. These choices will lead to separate endings, that contain different CGs. The choices in the common route only show some slightly different, humoristic scenes. What is important, is to save at all the route choices.* The routes can be played in any order you please, as they are all separate stories leading to outcomes unrelated to one another. * These are choices that leads into a route, and you have to go back and choose the right ones to go into the routes you want. I recommend using a guide for this part, as it might not be totally obvious during some of the routes which is the "enter" and which is the "leave" route choice. In addition, the choices appear after one another, so let's say you want to play Yumiko's route, you have to navigate correctly through all the other heroine route choices to end up in her route.

Fuck. Yes. It's here. The artbook in this is amazing. A4 sized book with nearly 200 pages of high quality lewdness (´・ω・)

I like how all the comments in this thread is about how people don't care. If you don't care, why are commenting in the first place? I'd like to see a combined release as well, at least. The split release bothers me a bit, not because of cost or anything, but just because I'll have to wait for the rest of the game if I buy the first part. One release, or three parts released at the same time, would have been much better in my opinion. The reason they did this is according to them that they can get the porn out faster, but I'd honestly much rather wait a bit for a later release of the complete game/ all the parts instead. So, I'll probably just sit around until the parts are all out.

Let's hope this was like the Love Sweets thing where someone else, not the translators, actually made the posts. (The chances are really small, but hey. Let's pray desu.)

Has anyone tried The Shadows of Pygmalion?
Dergonu replied to Limerence_'s topic in Visual Novel Talk
I haven't gotten too far, but I started it and it seems very interesting. I really like the atmosphere and writing. The art is a bit unique, but it grew on me after a bit of time in game. I'd say it's worth a shot, though keep in mind I haven't read too much yet. -
A wild Dergonu appeared! Yeah, I saw it on kickstarter a while ago and thought it looked like a pretty cool OELVN, so I backed it.

{NSFW} Kuroinu Chapter 1 available for pre-order
Dergonu replied to Nier's topic in Visual Novel Talk
The 3 part release does tick me off a bit, and I'll probably wait for all the parts before I buy it tbh. Even if it is a nukige, having it cut into 3 must impact the experience somewhat. Liquid does make good nukige though, so I'll definitely buy it eventually. -
Frontwing will localize Subahibi this year
Dergonu replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
So both Dies Irae and Subahibi will get localized the same year. 2017 is looking pretty good for western VN fans. -
Sekai Project launches Kickstarter for Ley Line physical box set
Dergonu replied to Decay's topic in Visual Novel Talk
It's true, lol. Now, that doesn't mean I didn't like the true route, of course, but I liked Mizuha's route the most in the whole game. If anything I usually like side routes in story based games. Makes it easier to focus on the main story, then treat the heroine romance and such as a separate entity. (Like the example mentioned above, G-senjou, which does this rather well.) I find that most of the time, mainstream opinions about routes etc usually differs from mine, so I'm keeping an open mind about the routes in this game until I play them myself. -

Adorable. Also, same voice actress as Chikara from ChuSinGura? Waifu confirmed. -
What are you reading? Untranslated edition
Dergonu replied to Funnerific's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I finally finished ChuSinGura, after several months of reading. Pretty proud of myself for having read such an incredibly long game in Japanese, hehe. Will write a longer blog post about it later, but here is my overall thoughts on the game: (Should be pretty much spoiler free.) I very much enjoyed the mix between serious, nearly utsuge level feels and silly humor. There is such a thing as a too serious story, and that also goes for too goofy. To me, ChuSinGura hit a very nice place in the middle of those two, balancing the elements well. Not going to lie, I cried a lot during this one. I also laughed until my stomach hurt during certain parts, too. Suguha has become my favorite main character from any of the games that I have read so far. He felt very... human through the whole game, if that makes any sense. His reactions to what happened made perfect sense to me, and I felt like I was in the situation with him a lot of the times during the really emotional scenes. He isn't your standard run-of-the-mill, clueless moron, but he also isn't a living Deus ex machina, like some protagonists. Overall, a pretty perfect main character in my opinion. Badass, funny, but still pretty... "believable". The antagonists were amazing as well. Ichigaku is my favorite part of the whole game tbh. (As you might be able to tell from me having kept her as my avatar ever since I started reading the game. ) Shinpachi was a wonderful character, too. Don't really want to talk too much about the antagonists to avoid spoilers, so let's just leave it at the fact that they were great. I liked all the heroines, even Emoshichi, which was a big surprise to me. I thought her chapter would be a bit of a pain to get through, as I didn't really like her too much at first, but it ended up being one of the better ones tbh. Her role in the chapter, and the way her character changed was fantastic. She went from being a bit annoying to becoming one of the better characters in the game. Among the four heroines, Kuranosuke is my favorite though. ご城代 4 life. Nuff said. The plot was very interesting, and although it got kinda crazy at times, I never saw the plot twists and turns etc coming, and it kept me glued to the screen until the last few minutes. Very well written game. What I liked the most was the way the game introduced tiny hints to something early on, then let the story go on for hours and hours before tying that little thing into the story again later. It kept doing it, and I kept going "ohhhh, right!" every time, lol. Basically, I loved it. Will probably read it again someday. I don't know if I should start on the fandisk right away, or if I should wait a little bit and play some shorter games before I start on another huge project like that again, though. -
This is a very subjective topic. Some people, like you can see in some responses above, sees very little value in H content to begin with, and won't care much. Others, however, might be more torn like yourself, as they don't like the idea of supporting censorship. I agree with you on the fact that when only the censored version and nothing else is available, it is better to voice your dissatisfaction. Whether you bite the bullet and buy it or not is up to you, though. This will still give some money to the original creators, not to mention TLers/ editors etc, so you should not feel bad for buying the game. But, you should definitely make it known, (in a polite manner,) that you prefer the original version over the censored one. If people speak up, then there is a higher chance the company might reconsider next time around. Make a poll on their website, tweet them or something along those lines. If we look at examples like Sharin no Kuni from last year, you can see that speaking up about it does indeed make a difference.

If you are okay with yuri then I strongly recommend Nurse Love Addiction. It's a very good read. -

Welcome to the forum, nice to meet you. You can speak as informally as you want in threads that aren't too seriously, tbh. Most of us do joke around a lot, (especially in the Coliseum of Chatter.) Looks like Kaguya already covered most about the ranks. You can also get a custom rank by contributing to the site in some way, like being a backer, adding a properly formated walkthrough etc.

Spent the day studying Japanese and playing eroge. 3D sucks anyways.
