  1. Hm, I see.
  2. Hm, might as well give this a go. I did like the first game, though it wasn't anything amazing. The art was stunning and certain parts of the game was pretty badass, but other than that it bored be a bit at times. And if you ask me, I think the game was a bit tame during the "guro" scenes. (Most of it happened "off screen" in narration, and the really dark scenes were extremely short.) Then again, as a fan of guro games I might have a pretty different opinion compared to most other people on that front, lol. Anyways, I love dragons and knights and stuff, plus I am a bit interested in knowing what happens next with Roy, so I'll check it out at least. Quick question
  3. Haha, yeah tbh I should just not be allowed to have a credit card. I'm sure I'll hate myself for this later, but oh well. Worth it
  4. Ohh really? That's nice. That explains why I can suddenly buy games from them now. (Though, it's not good for my wallet, ugh...) Today's damage
  5. Well as a whole, technically Japanese eroge isn't supposed to be sold outside of Japan, and that's what they are supposed to say when you ask. But, how they enforce this depends completely on the site. DMM has indeed blocked foreign IPs in the past, (that happened to me when I tried to buy something there last year actually,) but now I can buy things just fine. Just give it a try and see if it works for you. If it doesn't you will see that BEFORE you actually buy the game, not after, so there is no real risk doing it. Everyone I have asked recently have been able to buy games from the site now, so I think they changed something. Whether this was intentional, or if it will be reverted again later, I don't know. But since it is working now, why not go nuts and buy everything on sale while you can (That's what I'm doing. Guess I won't be eating anything next month x_X)
  6. DMM is having a huge sale on a whole bunch of their titles at the moment. (Over 1800 games are discounted.) The list of games on sale includes several games that have or will get fan patches, (Like Noble Works, Yosuga no Sora, Koiken Otome and what not,) and several new titles released in 2016 is on sale with some pretty nifty discounts. (Like Inochi no Spare, Sakura no Mori † Dreamers and loads more.) A pretty awesome sale for Japanese readers, but not completely pointless for English only readers. I used to have some issues buying games on DMM in the past, but it seems they fixed that, as I was able to buy several games there this week without any issues. (Did not need a VPN.) So it seems they accept foreign IPs and foreign credit cards now. (I bought a few games literally a day before the sale, and those are now on discount. Fuck my life ) Buying games on DMM is super easy, and they also have the easiest DRM system out of all the download sites. (The DRM is directly linked to your DMM account, so as long as you have the game on your account, you just log in once when the DRM pop up appears after installing the game, and you're done.) If you need any help getting through some of the menus, feel free to ask me for some help. (Though, the menus are quite simple to understand, and the wording is so simplistic you can just chuck them into google translate.) Here a list of the games on sale: http://dlsoft.dmm.co.jp/list/article=keyword/dmmref=sk51w2f7/i3_ord=1/i3_ref=banner/id=7431/sort=ranking/?dmmref=sk51w2f7&i3_ord=1&i3_ref=banner
  7. The newest Mangagamer indiegala bundle is out! If you don't know how these work, there is a bundle of a select few games from Mangagamer's site available on Indiegala for a really discounted price. This time it includes Ultimate Boob Wars, probably the best nukige on Mangagamer's site. (And the whole bundle of 5 games is 10$, making it quite cheap.) Link here: (NSFW content on the site!) https://www.indiegala.com/xmas4play
  8. 1) Steins;Gate 0 2) Steins;Gate 0 3) Steins;Gate 0 4) Steins;Gate 0 5) Steins;Gate 0 Fixed that for you
  9. I don't usually read that many new releases as I just have too many old games to get through. At least read enough to make a top 5 list though 1) Nikuniku A guro game that actually made me cry at the end. The true ending was fantastic, and it was overall just a really good read. 2) Tsui Yuri Adorable little yuri game, with some pretty spicy bad ends. Overall, quite the enjoyable read. Also ended up becoming my first TL project, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. 3) Maitetsu Loli porn simulator. Didn't even read the story / 10. 4) Kemomimi Harem Vacation Although the game was just a fairly average harem nukige, Nazuna was such a great character. She made the game so much more enjoyable. (Such a shame the localizers butchered the living crap out of this game.) 5) Ryakudatsusha no Inen The game was a bit all over the place, and I couldn't quite put my finger on whether this was meant to be a nukige or a serious game. Overall not the best, but it had some freaking stunning art and a few nice characters. Should have just gone full on guro nukige /10
  10. Yes!!! We got the fandisk too, phew. The vita port winning with a mere 2% in the poll was quite bitter. Glad we actually reached both stretch goals so everyone gets what they wanted.
  11. Welcome to the land of other basement dwelling weebs! We have Chinese porn games and cookies! Check out this thread for a list of some really good, translated VNs. (If you can read Japanese, there is also a million different recommendation threads in the same sub forum you can browse through.)
  12. Welcome to the forum, nice to meet you
  13. Nothing beats a good old yandere heroine.
  14. I agree, kitsune heroines are fantastic. Think my 3 favorite types would have to be kitsune, angel and demon heroines. Although I have only ever seen one, tanuki heroines are adorable. It's a shame she's only in a short nukige and not in a longer game with more depth. Rather wasted potential for a great character.
  15. U fokin w0t m8?!
  16. Playing Pure Girl to get a bit of a break from ChuSinGura's samurai talk. No better way to turn off your brain than a good old nukige, lol. This is the most adorable little creature ever.
  17. My first VN was Nekopara, as much as I hate to admit it. After that, being able to see Amane naked was one of the reasons I started Grisaia no Kajitsu So yeah, same here
  18. Welcome to the forum, nice to meet you. You might not bite, but I can't make the same promise I recommend checking out Eden* if you haven't already.
  19. NOT THE TRASH BAG!!!
  20. @Decay Happy birthday!
  21. I go to London at least once a year, and I can assure you it's safe. My sister was in Italy just last week. You'll be fine. Nothing to worry about in either country, at least as far as I know.
  22. ^ Indeed. Thank @Kiriririri for the solution. So, if anyone is wondering, the patch DOES WORK with digital editions bought from sites like Getchu (that's where I bought mine). You simply extract the patch files from the 1.0.1 (link) updater using 7zip and then place those files in the root game folder. (The actual update launcher might not detect the digital edition, and you therefore have to extract the files with 7zip manually to make it work.) Then simply place the English patch in the folder as well, and it works.
  23. I decided to buy the digital version to test if the patch will work with it, however I'm unable to udate the digital version to 1.0.1. I get an error when I run the updater that says the game isn't installed. (Does anyone know what the standard download path for the game is? Perhaps that would help. Getchu only got me a .rar, so I simply placed it in a new folder.) I was thinking perhaps the updater only works with physical editions, but it's a bit strange that the error quite literally says "you don't have the game installed." (I mean, I do.) Also, the version of the digital version is 1.0, so it should be possible to update it, as the 1.0.1 version has improvements and fixes... Anyone have any ideas/ know if you can fix this?
  24. EDIT. Tested it myself, and with some help from Kiri, got it working. So yes, the patch works with digital editions. Has anyone tried it with the digital version from Getchu? (NSFW images on the site, obviously.) http://dl.getchu.com/index.php?action=gdSoft&gcd=8952&liTUB=5
  25. Yeah, the name over the spoiler is in itself a spoiler. This is the VN's VNDB page (Spoiler about the death under here) Second VN's VNDB page (Spoiler about the death below)
