Kanokon. At the same time... I... I actually enjoyed it and it makes me feel ashamed. There's even no comparison to how fucking hilariously stupid that show was.

Holy shit, guys. This is some amazing work you've done there! I always felt amazed how popular some of the hardware remains and there's always never enough of retro scene. Being an oldschool retro fan myself, who used to tackle on similiar stuff, I'm really glad there's so many great people out there who don't forget the good ol' times and continue to carry the legacy of 8 and 16-bit eras. It's quite incredible that even after all those years, Dreamcast doesn't cease to remain that popular and now I just feel pitiful for not owning one. You haven't released much info yet, aside from those couple of videos? Such a tease. As for the visual novel itself, were you, perhaps, inspired by Inspector Montalbano series? That was the first thing that came to my mind, when I saw your game and if so, I'd be in heaven. The art in the teaser makes me feel, it's going to be something more than just an "adventure" story, right? I wouldn't actually be surprised if this turns out to have supernatural horror elements, otherwise you wouldn't call it like that. You picked my curiosity, but now you have my attention

Don't tell me you're thinking of retiring from this "treasure" hunting business -
In overall, it's better to stick with the anime adaptation, than read the visual novel.

If you enjoyed Saw that much, then yes - I guess you might enjoy Euphoria the way it is as well.

This forum is littered with Clockup fanboys, so don't expect a non-biased, objective answer. It's okay, albeit not without flaws, provided that's the kind of stuff you're into. Otherwise, don't even touch it with a ten feet pole, or you'll regret it. Don't use the word "brilliant" in conjunction with these works, though.

INB4 Key fanboys That's a very nice review you wrote there, Bats. Clannad is propably one of the most overrated vn's ever, mainly due to it hooking on people's emotions. Nonetheless, it's still a good read, especially if you like slice of life and drama. SP did a great job on the localization and hopefully, we'll get more classics from them soon.

I tried it out of curiosity and game managed to run playable on high detail (with some post-processing on low), around 35-42 fps on my oc'ed Q6600 and GTX460 (drops incuded, but that's obvious). The intro was quite nice, but the game itself is nothing special and feels rushed. I'd propably consider finishing it, but the memory leak caused the game to crash with my current 4GB's. I did ordered 8GB's of high perfo DDR2 ram a while ago, but that's mainly for The Wicher 3, which should be perfectly playable after all my latest upgrades Not sure if it's actually scripted or random, but I had a deathclaw in the nearest town, which was a lot higher level than I was. Even the power armor couldn't help much, haha.

Those filthy console peasants need to learn the truth. -
A lot of people greatly undermined Clannad's popularity

It's not only about being one of the longest and biggest translation projects, ever. The game itself is insanely long and thus, you can't really complain about 50$ being "too much", considering how many hours of reading you'll be getting out of it. I'd even say 50$ for a translated game like this seems a bit underpriced. It's just hilarious how single-minded western fans are; it's like they feign complete ignorance in regards to localization attempts every single time, when things don't go their way.

MFW people just want free shit. Considering it's huge size and the amount of work with localization, 50$ is nothing special. You don't have to buy it, if you don't like it; you have literally no obligation to do that and no one's forcing you, either. It's that kind of attitude from the western fanbase that makes things difficult for everyone.
