  1. It depends whether OP is looking for vn's that dwelve into medical and health-related issues or actually wants a classic utsuge with life-and-death drama. Nothing else comes to my mind at the moment; major issue is that there's a couple of really cool vn's, but they're japanese only and I doubt OP is asking for those. True Remembrance is actually very close to Narcissu, both in terms of genre and drama; it's just not meant to depress in the same kind of way Narcissu does and remains more of a heartwarming tale. I can't say more, since it would spoil the story; just read it, you won't be disappointed.
  2. Try True Remembrance. You may like it.
  3. Nope Too many years had passed for me to get any sort of hype. I'm still happy about it, nonetheless.
  4. If you want a good Star Wars game, get X-Wing vs Tie Fighter. You'll have your battles in space, which are more awesome than Darth Vader plowing through the rebel forces. Buy the GOG version, tho. Steam version has issues. You'll need a joystick as well (or a Microsoft SideWinder 1.0, like me ).
  5. Fuck you, Vader.
  6. I got my account back. I'm so glad it worked out and I already issued a passcode just in case; I guess it's an excellent idea, since your account remains secure and passcode works as a backup, valid for one year. I missed the event, but got an extra account I propably won't use anymore. Even though I barely played on it, there's like 29 loveca and a couple of rares I actually don't own, haha. If anyone's interested, I can share the passcode for it.
  7. Basic stats, of course - things like their names, level, bond (obviously, all maxed out), skill name (it's on the wikis) and the name of the group's leader. They asked me for info on some of the cards I own, so I basically sent them my current setup of the Smile team (which acts as the main for my account). Seems that ammount of info was enough to warant my plausibility as the account owner, besides the basic account stuff they asked about earlier. I may consider myself quite lucky, since I got it in less than a week, some people had to wait a lot longer than that (propably their own fault for not handing enough info, but whatever).
  8. IIRC, OP is propably talking about garbled characters in lines spoken by the "monsters", although I'm not sure anymore; it's ben years since I played it. A screenshot is a must in case of visual-related game issues. It's worthless to post a problem otherwise and expect help.
  9. 2 SLO, but thanks for bringing this up again. Maybe someone will finally fix it? ...who am I kidding
  10. T'was more of a joke, although Far has a couple of functionalities (including a hex editor), that might prove helpful in some cases and it can be expanded via plugins. Can't think of anything besides the apps already posted above. I used a couple of very solid programs back in the past, but they were already outdated and I lost them after my old HDD crash. Can't even recall their names at the moment and I haven't been using anything for quite a while.
  11. In all honesty, you should leave it be. There was actually a lot of game talking in-between and you just deleted a large part of that discussion. Besides, why? Ren vs Okami is pure gold and you just got rid of it? There's a magical mod thing called thread separation. You don't delete hilarious things; you expose them to the wider audience, not to mention this whole talk had both scientific and educational merits How could I forget about it?!
  12. I'm so sad I acually didn't managed to get that Nozomi at all; Klab hasn't replied yet, but I'll just wait patiently, since they're already looking into it. From what I've seen, it takes at least a week in most cases and hopefully mine won't take longer. I just want to make it before the next event. EDIT: Just got a mail from them. They issued me a new transfer code, quite fast! FYI, I simply mailed them the current setup of one of my teams along with the character stats and that was enough to verify my account.
  13. Best of luck, man! I can always throw a couple of ideas on TS, if you want.
  14. I finally got my Tibalta and she's pure awesome. Not as good as previous girls in terms of detail and quality (see the pics below), but the posing, cute face and armor parts really make up for the rest. As usual, you can't really expect a prototype quality from mass produced copies, but it's still good enough. She needed a little bit of assembling, but all the parts came together without any issues and remain solid; diorama even has a metal bolt to secure the foot better. Besides nice looking, non-windowed box, she came with a couple of goodies as well - a short manga printed on a high quality, glossy paper and a motion comic(?) on the DVD, I have yet to check out. Embrace really makes great figures. DON'T MISS IT!
  15. You didn't read any of it, did you? Anyway, it desn't hurt to help, especially if you have a lot of free time on your hands (hopefully, my boss doesn't see this). @Mugi I can help as well, simply post a bit more about your preferences, so I'll know what would you like to get. I don't think it's really worth to buy a single, really expensive figure (in other words, don't go into Ren's footsteeps, pls); It's far better to buy two or three quality figures instead, if you're on that kind of budget.
  16. Generally, what you're looking for are quality figures. Decent ones start around 100$+, but can go as high as 150$ and more. Anything below is considered prize (aka budget) figures - cheapest often sell for as little as 30$, but don't expect much from these, although you can still buy really good pieces for around twice as much. Best stuff is typically very limited and pricey - if you're willing to throw a lot more money, you can buy something unique. As for the companies - generally speaking Alter, GoodSmile Company and MAX Factory (Figma) are well known for their overall quality; WAVE produces good prize figures, mainly within their BEACH QUEENS series (if you want to collect those preety bishoujo figurines in skimpy bathing suits and not be forced to eat instant ramen for the rest of month, it's something for you). OrchidSeed and Embrace craft trully preety figurines, whilst Cerberus Project (aka French Doll) has the highest quality, often unique and original figures, as long as you're willing to pay a bit more (it's well worth it though, trust me). CharaANI and FREEing has some interesting picks as well; QuesQ produces nice figures from a lot of popular franchises, but they tend to overprice them quite a lot. Things worth to be aware of, while buying: Type of material - Cheap figures are often made from worse quality plastic; some figures are made from delicate materials as well - it's good to know that, before you order something and receive it in pieces.Level of detail - Expensive figurines often have a lot more detail on them, including texturing. Dioramas (detailed bases) are typically a part of more expensive figures. Some of them even have additional parts (like clothing or hair, weapons) made from actual cloth and metals.Painting quality - This is especially prevalent in case of faces and mouths, but applies to whole figure in general; good figures have bright, vivid colors and highly-detailed, precise painting. Cheaper ones aren't usually painted that well and their coloring tends to be muted due to weaker quality paints.Sulptor/artist/creator - There are good ones and not-so-good ones. A lot of creators often have their own distinct styles, besides staying faithul to the original.Cast-offs - In other words, it's a figure which can be undressed to reveal the more interesting bits; those can range from mostly innocent fanservice to erotica and full blown porn. Cast-offs are typically a lot more pricey and remain either original, or a part of m-rated/adult franchise; in other words, unless it's a doujin garage kit, you won't find cast-offs of popular mainstream characters.Run - Some figures remain so popular, they might be produced continiously in a number of releases over an extended period of time. If you're planning to buy one, which isn't a part of the first batch, it's often worth to take time and get more information; some figures get better, others become worse due to changes in their production process (different factory, materials, mold fixes, replaced parts).Websites: MFG - An incredibly useful, community-driven site that aims to preserve all data on figures. Allows their users to create, manage and share their own collections and acts as a trading hub for collectors; includes a vast variety of tools at their disposal. AmiAmi - Propably the most popular online shop, specializing in hobby goods from Japan; often has the best possible prices (monopoly, ho ) and the biggest array of figures to chose from. Ships fast and almost anywhere. Play-Asia - Another trustworthy online shop. Decent prices, fast shipping. Sells a lot of other goods as well, so if you planned a mixed order, it might be the best choice available. Plamoya - An online shop, that specializes mainly in used hobby goods, but their offer doesn't differ from huge stores like AmiAmi; You can buy older figures from them, including ones that often have been discontinued or aren't available anywhere else; prices vary depending on supply/demand. Good contact, you can ask them nearly anything. Mandarake - An excellent japanese used goods store. They have everything - from doujinshi to figures, you can often find rare gems in their offer. Purely dependant on japanese sellers and supply/demand. JList - If you can't/don't want to order anywhere else, may act as an alternative to other stores; it's biggest drawback are prices, which are often a lot higher than anywhere else. Sells only the most popular stuff - you often won't find rarer, or more expensive figures in their offer. If you want me to recommend you something specific, which is currently aimed for release, share your interests/favourite series/franchise; it's really difficult to remain helpful otherwise. As a reminder of sorts - be aware of bootlegs. All the sites listed above don't deal with them, but there's a lot other shops available on the net and you might be willing to use their services in various cases. Typically, if the price is half lower than anywhere else, don't buy. Nowadays, fakes tend to be made so well, you can't often differ them from originals at first glance, but it's the little details that matter. Bootlegs are often made from cheap plastic instead of quality PVC, they have far worse painting and are often badly cast, which results in pieces falling off or not sticking together etc. Avoid them like fire; collectors aren't interested in them, either.
  17. Propably the all ages version; which one exactly is left to guess, although I bet they'd try to localize the latest build with all the additional content. I doubt they'd want to put EX on Steam, as those are most propably their current plans, considering their start with Harmonia. It's not like we'll lose anything - h-scenes in LB are just aditional flavor and literally don't bring anything to the story itself. I couldn't care less myself, since it's not something you'd really fap to anyway (unless you're Suika or Flutterz ).
  18. This made my day. Keep it up, guys. Porn is definately a cause worth fighting for.
  19. Wow, dood. I never thought I'd see this day.
  20. I thought this was aready over... You are of the peristent kind, aren't you?
  21. It's one of those AMAAAZING games that actually get worse with every next installment.
