  1. Probably because I translated it, but I was also the one who passed on the habit to use and abuse commas. To write with them. Beyond that, I'm not really sure. How's it similar to me?
  2. As it happens, my younger sister had to write a text for a Portuguese test, and I like it. Therefore, I translated it (probably not too well) and decided to read it aloud. In both languages: There exist various characteristics that can be considered crucial for surpassing the most difficult difficulties and reaching the most faraway goals. For an argument as simple as "Attempt, be daring, be courageous and persevere", many will ignore it outright. After all, just because we try to do something, just because we are stubborn, we do not obtain instant results. Various situations are, clearly, impossible. To this, there's nothing I can do but point toward the history of this country. How many times has Portugal not achieved the impossible? A mere county, led by a teenager, becomes a country among countries triple, quadruple its size, fighting against Moors and Castilian Kings. One of Europe's smallest countries was given half the world by the Pope. A country in plain dictatorship, achieves a revolution without a single casualty. I understand that some may not believe that tenacity and audacity enable the impossible, but something I can guarantee: Without attempt, there will be no success. -M.F.V. (Poltroon)
  3. Currently watching Amagi Brilliant Park. I've thought this could be something I'd enjoy for a while now - it's time to confirm it. Edit1: Yes! Non-moronic reaction to a girl inside your bathroom. You do not stop and gape. You are not left petrified. You do not start spouting nonsense. You immediately close the door and that's that.
  4. I sort of predicted this. Well... ...More like I thought "Besides this one?"
  5. People seem to hate on DanganRompa's anime. I liked it. That is, however, because I've already played the game, and all I wanted to see was some animation. I'm sure those who haven't played the game thought it was rubbish. That said, this is precisely why I'll love this anime no matter how it turns out.
  6. Wow. I never knew. The more you know. In other news, I'm excited for this! I've been waiting for Harvest Festa for way too long. I'm still wondering why this took longer that Rewrite, but I don't care any more. I'm excited.
  7. I can relate to a minimal extent. My father has this annoying tendency of calling my PC habits an addiction. It hurts every time. It's not like he is entirely wrong. What life have I even got outside the PC? If it makes you feel better, you have other human beings around your age or around you that like gaming and you can be friends with. I have no such thing, and yet I remain living. As for your father, you certainly need to make him understand that, especially these days, gaming is entirely usual. Sure, if you spend entire days gaming (like me) he'd have plenty of reason to call you out on it, but otherwise? This all said, I have no convenient solutions. I would suggest trying to figure out what you're abusing or doing too much of. What other things could you be doing that you're refraining of just so you can game?
  8. Eclipsed's theory seems plausible. You're a genius, Nayleen! Keep up the good work!
  9. About Noble Works: -A couple of endings may not deliver. Others do. -The focus is effectively on comedy, and not usually at the girls' expense. -Conclusions to the drama sections may not be your cup of tea. These focus on comedy over drama. The drama never hits anything too serious on purpose. -There's a character with no route that some people wanted a route for. -The protagonist is fairly analytical and smart so far as moege protagonists go.
  10. Here's the next preview, for any interested. Slightly longer, most of it's repeated footage. Yay for Phoenix getting stepped on!
  11. Noble Works is by no means bad. If you like the common route and if you like one of the routes, you should like the title entirely. The title itself focuses on rich Ojou-samas, so long as you like the trope and variations of it, you should be fine. For an English player, the translation is actually rather good. Do note, however, that you will only enjoy the VN if you enjoy moege with no serious plot to speak of. Dracu-Riot seems to be heavily praised due to having an actual plot and many other uncommon characteristics in moege. Do not expect the same of Noble Works.
  12. Inaction can also be the cause of issues. If instead of neglecting your duties you had been keeping an eye on things, this wouldn't have happened.
  13. 9/10 - A product of a practical joke. Simplistic. Clear. Cute.
  14. I'm entirely unaware of the inner workings of that game. I have no idea what it's about or what routes it has.
  15. I'm not absolutely sure it fits. The character itself does, however, the way her route is set up she remains an antisocial for a considerable amount of time into the route, only truly changing near the end. ...Sort of. The route has a lot of stuff happen and it's been ages since I've read it.
  16. I am reading it whilst skipping pretty much all H-Scenes. It couldn't possibly be that bad on story alone.
  17. As should be expected, we're in agreement.
  18. Was looking forward to -vision. Waiting for more. I do agree. @Tiagfvarela is certainly a member of inferior caliber.
  19. I wouldn't dare quote myself on this, but I'm convinced that while the first adapts Fate route ( or a slight amalgamation), the latter adapts only Rin's route.
  20. The first two chapters were free. I propose that's what he was referring to. Indeed, that is one of the reasons I feel wholly annoyed at the situation. It's not like I can fully blame them for everything, but although I love the concept of their spin-off game, I can't see it as anything but a waste of time and budget that could have gone to the final chapter.
  21. Confession: I also have a very deep case of general lazyness and lack of ambition. The only things I ever work hard toward are practical jokes and getting easy attention.
  22. I've been meaning to make a thread like this for a couple of days, but never found a good way to make it. Although, seriously, I really liked the first two games, I don't know what's going through the creator's heads. It's one of the few times I feel frustrated about the decisions that went into a game.
  23. Is that so? I don't have any objections as of yet, and even if I had, I'm a firm believer it should be given a chance until it airs. ...Not that I care. I'll be satisfied so long as Edgeworth gets a few animations It'll give me some more avatars, as well!
  24. I figure that with the release of a 15 second long preview, and a few still shots, it's as good a time as any to revive this and share what little info is known. The anime is to start airing on April 2nd, Saturdays. Here's the staff list, for those interested: Ryuichi Naruhodou (Phoenix Wright) - Yūki Kaji Mayoi Ayasato (Maya Fey) - Aoi Yūki Reiji Mitsurugi (Miles Edgeworth) - Masashi Tamaki Chihiro Ayasato (Mia Fey) - Chie Nakamura Masashi Yahari (Larry Butz) - Tōru Nara Keisuke Itonokogiri (Dick Gumshoe) - Masami Iwasaki Chief Producer: Yuji Kikukawa Producer: Kouji Nagai Director: Ayumu Watanabe Series Composition: Atsuhiro Tomioka Character Design: Keiko Ota, Kouji Watanabe Prop Design: Mamoru Sasaki Art Director: Eiji Iwase Art Setting: Tsukasa Oohira Color Planning: Fusako Nakao Background Director: Ayaka Shimizu CG Director: Akira Fukuda Editing: Masaharu Gotou Audio Director: Katsuyoshi Kobayashi Music: Kaoru Wada Original Work / Supervision: Capcom Animation Production: A-1 Pictures Series Production: Yomiuri TV & A-1 Pictures (Credit to Rubia Ryu the Royal for translating the names into a readable alphabet.)
