  1. At this point I'd venture to make some witty comment or complaint, but I'm currently too mesmerised and lost to be able to. I'll be back after regaining my composure.
  2. I'm part of that group that started VN's thinking they were all utter mind screws like 999 and Ever17. If I were to opine, I preferred Ever17 for its long slice of life like segments where slowly but surely more and more mysteries were introduced as some smaller ones were solved; most through regular info-dumps about our situation or the backstory of the facility. We also get to romance some of the characters, and I can say I really got attached to them all quite a bit. It really depends on what you consider bad pacing. I don't think it's bad, but some may. It's mainly a mystery sci-fi slice of life VN, with romance in some routes.
  3. Fuwa Fabulous. Fabulously Fuwa. Glad to see I wasn't mistaken when I thought there was a reason I should force myself to abandon Gravity Green.
  4. Well, yeah. This is Rooke we're talking about.
  5. According to VNDB, Ace Attorney was my first VN. However, the first more "traditional" (no gameplay) VN I played was Ever17.
  6. Thank you, thank you, one and all. I'm pretty sure at this point you're even managing to fool some people into thinking Tiag is actually my name, which it isn't. A very well done coordinated assault. Thank you kindly for using my name. Hai Hai to you too, whichever tribe may you belong to. Are you implying something? I'm merely 29 this year. While indubitably that may seem like a lot to someone of your tender age, it's not that bad. Just look at Rooke. You should make a petition for a rich man to buy and create the island of Varela, since you keep insisting I live there.
  7. I got a 1, however that's because "I have argued with my spouse, friends or family about my smartphone use." holds true when I consider that everyone constantly tells me to use it more.
  8. The childhood route is technically not the last route, but it leads to the last route. It's also the most plot filled besides Mon-sama's and Tsubame's.
  9. You find new expressions in literature (lol VN's) all the time. It's a mite different to Google a Japanese expression with no English equivalent or an English one only used in the British Antarctic Territory. In one of them, your Google search actually has a chance of producing results, and you of learning something new.
  10. I have no doubt that this could only be interpreted as excellent news. One more video of this caliber is exactly what the internet needed.
  11. No no, that's not a bad thing at all. You just have to make sure to keep consistent.
  12. I could copy paste a wall of "literal vs. liberal" translation I wrote a while back, but I'd probably be running away from the main topic at a high velocity. As for which I prefer, I have no particular opinion. Just try to avoid a situation where a voiced line clearly says something and it gets Englishified and mismatches what is heard.
  13. About your methods and way of life: I've talked with you for a while some time ago. I don't know if it got through, but I absolutely love what you do. Promoting VN's, trying to make himself heard. Admittedly, this has made me think of you as arrogant on more than one occasion, but that can't really be helped when you're trying to be, as you said, an activist. I tend to agree with sound logic, and I believe that most of the time what you say is sound. It's always nice to read what you write, even when occasionally I can already tell "he's gonna get flamed to bits for this" as I read your content. About the title of the Reddit "article": Expecting people to carefully consider every single word, its denotation, and its context is your first mistake. Miscommunication is the cause of most conflicts. You can interpret your title however you want. If the average person doesn't you can't entirely blame them. You will notice that most people believe your title to be clickbait, and that you had to provide paragraphs of justification over the chosen title just so people would even remotely understand its "carefully chosen-ness". Perhaps because I'm not a non-native, I would have never thought of interpreting "Fans" and "fury" as you did, when there was a much more obvious meaning I could easily reach. I'll give you a badly made example which likely has nothing to do with this. In Portuguese, the word "eventually" means "possibly". Perhaps because of the English language's influence on Europe and education, most youths believe it has the English meaning. This can very easily lead to certain misunderstandings. While the one who uses it with the Portuguese meaning is categorically right, the one who misinterprets it can't fairly be held responsible when the misinformation actively spreads among people. With this I'm trying to say, your interpretation of the title may be the most correct one, but it is not the one most people will arrive at, and your carefully chosen wording is entirely to blame.
  14. I'd say 0/10 for clickbait but I seem to have some sort of mental disorder which makes me find most of your posts humorous.
  15. I can't take this as anything but the evilest reply I've seen in a while.
  16. I was, for once, not being sarcastic but making a, now that I think about it, quite quotable and troublesome joke basing myself on the class bullying method of ignoring a classmate as if he weren't there. I have no idea where it came from, but it was quite clearly off-topic and unproductive in the spirit of a true Fuwanovel poster.
  17. Damn, he realised it guys. It's all a conspiracy against Ren.
  18. Thank god I'm in for fun and not free. It just makes me feel morally superior while Ren is here blowing a fuse. Since I like fun I try to participate in every event which I feel qualified or have time to. As for the Nayleen incident, that was entirely his fault. Don't blame the community, blame him. He changed the colours because of your game (as it gave him the idea to), of course people would think it was your fault. As for changing the site's theme, it might be considerably different if there's actually an announcement explaining the change as opposed to the sudden colour blindness everyone suffered last time. I distinctly remember how the Christmas avatar activity went. Even if people can't be bothered to Photoshop/learn how to make hats themselves, since there were members doing it for them, a good deal of the forums adhered.
  19. If Sekai Project is truly attempting to alter the perception common rabble has of a "Visual Novel", then hiding Dempasoft as much as they can is the best approach in the long run. On the other hand, when their best selling titles are the Sakura Series that doesn't do the image any favours...
  20. It's not a sniper since you're a heavy weaponry guy... Actually, that's the worst compatibility for heavy weaponry. It screws over your good aim.
  21. I will forever regret that the biggest post I have ever written on Fuwanovel will only ever be seen by your team and the Think Tank. Indeed. Things happen sometimes, just not often, or fast, when everyone has to go to Tay because nobody is sure of what authority they hold to do things on their own.
