Good review (I'll link it to Tokyo Babel discussion later) and hopefully it'll attract interest to play this. Main attraction to me was seiyuu here though, although the BGM was good of course. As for the bible fact, well, as long as you didn't find true nature of God was offensive I think that's enough. Me ? Well, I knew Japan was only like had 10% Christian in their demographic and Japan company tend to made the game for majority people (I think), so I didn't found it offensive even though I'm a Catholic myself and unless some fanatic find out about this game somehow I think it'll not become controversy (And even if it did, it may attract more people to play it, just like back at Xenogears case). Since you mentioned being uncomfortable, maybe I'll will in the future though. As for seiyuu performance, I think Miyuki Sawashiro here should be the star, because she was managed to sound different from her usual role as Lilith. Although of course I didn't said that the other seiyuu had bad performance though. For more commentary, Kitamura Eri here managed to sound like Kaneda Mahiru here and Ookubo Rumi managed to sounds crazy as Gethel. Oh, I think if some of Fuwan user here Attack on Titan fan, I think MC voice here should be satisfy you, doubly so if you fan of Levi because Levi's and MC seiyuu here was the same people, Hiroshi Kamiya (Although in translated VN it was only Shinji from Fate though). I think that's all I could think of. PS - Oh, my first time to comment in community blog here lol

Long time not to see this thread, but since I promised to tell my opinion about the result of vote, and it's only one day before announcement anyway so let me write my opinion here. Note that it was only reflect to my opinion, so the statement may not 100% accurate, although it may possible to speculate what game may be announce from polling result though (It may be wrong once again). 1. Rance Series - If Mangagamer really want to release Rance series, maybe they'll start from Sengoku Rance (Already translated, loved and discussed to the death). Otherwise Rance VI may be possible considering arunaru work with Mangagamer and his Rance VI was almost finished before stalled and work for translating Haruka. Could also be Rance 5D, and by the way since Rance game before Kichikuou was available as free, I think Mangagamer will not announce those game (And the graphic was very old anyway, but we didn't know if Mangagamer will announce that though). About another Alice Soft game, I didn't know which was Mangagamer want to release though, although if we talk about translated one, Daibanchou might be possible though. 2. Baldr Series - As awesome as if Mangagamer announce this, since we also talk about GIGA, maybe after they got the license from GIGA the first game they announce would be probably Duel Savior, even though Baldr was the signature series from GIGA. Why? Because it was already translated, and I think from business perspective it save cost in term of translating if Mangagamer was only announced the translated game to be released officially. While if MangaGamer want to announce Baldr Sky, it need to be translated from scratch and it'll cost some money to paid the translator. Of course it would be awesome, since Baldr Sky had some history with 2 of the translation effort was stopped halfway, one by C&D and the second was delayed by the translator himself, probably because he couldn't had time to balance it between his work time and translating time (To top it that before stalling he use lame reason called evaluating, which in real probably he was too tired from work and not evaluating script at all. Maybe). 3. Sono Hanabira - Not much comment that maybe Mangagamer will announce SonoHana 1-10 if they really serious to license SonoHana. But I think SonoHana 11 should be Mangagamer first priority because the couple from translated SonoHana by Mangagamer first featured there and from same company technically. Well, Yurin Yurin was actually Fuguriya going official anyway, so once again I think it's still possible if Mangagamer announce SonoHana 1-10. 4. Dies Irae - Conjueror and garejel try to translated this game in their youtube video iirc, Clephas like this game very much (And he use the villain from Dies Irae as his avatar), and moogy claimed it was very hard to translated. Anyway, it would be interesting if this was announce by Mangagamer tomorrow, and it may be possible since Mangagamer also had 2 very enthusiastic translator work for them and already had experience to translated Dies Irae (Only small scene though, but still). Although it may any game from Light though, which I'd just find out that before Dies Irae, mostly they go with some sort of nukige or classic love school story (I might be wrong though) until Masada wrote Dies Irae. After that, I think Light was more respected and had Masada to write some other VN in order to get more money. Or made some game that like Dies Irae from the writer other than Masada. Either way, I think Dies Irae was influenced Light company from simple eroge company to be more known because of Dies Irae. Oh, I was only basing my opinion on VNDB game list of Light company, so once again I might be too biased here. 5. Fate/Stay Night - Already played, well known, discussed, and review it to the death. And for the company, Type Moon it was possible that Mangagamer might announce this or Tsukihime tomorrow (And if Mangagamer somehow managed to announce Tsukihime remake it would be awesome of course. Although Type Moon need to deal with Hisui voice first though, since the usual seiyuu for Hisui Matsuki Miyu was passed away at October 2015). Oh for my comment about Fate, it was also already milked to the death, with ton of side story, several version of remake, 2 version of anime, and pachinko game that caused the player to be broke because he was spent the money too much (The game was Fate Grand Order, and the money he was spent was 430.000 yen (Equal to around 30 more games at Mangagamer site I think)), so much that Type Moon forgot to developed Tsukihime remake and Mahoutsukai no Yoru sequel in order to pump money from Fate franchise. Which ironically make it possible that Mangagamer will announce Fate, simply because it was Cash Cow Franchise for Type Moon. 6. White Album 2 - I only knew that my dormitory friend back at college played this game using AGTH ATLAS, the OP was very catchy (Because my friend sometimes listen WA 2 OP, with Hatsuyuki Sakura OP and Grisaia no Meikyuu OP (That's why I said that Meikyuu OP was very good)), the MC involved in love triangle from high school to university, right now it was at 4th rank in VNDB, and some effort of translating it with messy translation at Baka-Tsuki. Other than that didn't know much. And for the company, I think Aquaplus (Leaf was children company from Aquaplus) was tend to make spinoff or sequel from their games. The more evident example was To Heart 2, although there was also the case with Utawarerumono and Tears to Tiara (Which for some reason the sequel was officially localized by ATLUS). Oh, for my speculation about announced game from Aquaplus, Tears to Tiara was the most possible candidate obviously (With already officially localized the sequel), although Utawarerumono might be possible though. 7. Shin Koihime Musou - I think it may be possible, considering we had translation group who did their best to translated this game. I remember that Koihime Musou from Mangagamer was had some controversy with Mangagamer ripped the voice and fans made the patch to restore the voice. Other than this, Koihime Musou, and Harukoi Otome, I think there's not much about other games to speculate from BaseSon, although I'm kinda curious if Mangagamer will announce Sengoku Koihime though (All age and may will take some interest from Steam). 8. Majikoi - One answer if Mangagamer announce Minato Soft as the partner, this is they first choice. The reason was because Majikoi was like Cash Cow Franchise to Minato Soft, with lesser release of their other game after Majikoi, at least before 2013, so not so much Cash Cow Franchise as Fate to Type Moon. Other reason that they'll choose Majikoi if they announce Minato Soft as partner once again was simply because it was already translated. As for Majikoi, actually there was a little history behind it. So it's like that there is one group who translated this until at least around 2012 when the head was not doing any update anymore (Presumably because of he need to work around 12-13 hours), and the translation was simply left to death. And finally reborn at this forum with some nice user (Dowolf) translating started from Agave route, then side routes and finally infamous Miyako route iirc. I also remember when I edited release date in VNDB from 2015 to TBA, simply because Peter Payne from JAST expressed interest to license Majikoi at VNDB (And we knew what happened when a game announced by JAST, right), so he didn't state his interest directly to announce it in 2015 (Or at least I hoped that). Anyway, back to Majikoi, thanks to Dowolf and the staff here, especially Ouraibaa which like the head translator here to revive Majikoi translation project and finished it, although the translation was different from the older one though (It was small matter anyway). Back to speculation, other than Majikoi, it might possible that Mangagamer also announced Yuuki Yuuna I think, because people thinking it was like Madoka and it was translated anyway (Actually, it was more like side story of Yuuki Yuuna though). Other than that, didn't know much. 9. Aiyoku no Eustia - I knew that this game had some many history. First, it was translated by the same group who translated Majikoi first (Oh, I'd forgot to said the group, but the group name was Yandere Translation). After Yandere died down, so was naturally the project for translating this game. Second, it was August game, which back at 2014 it was probably 'cursed' together with Yuzusoft that the translation will not finished fully. While Noble Works was fully translated back at Christmas mean the curse finally broken for Noble Works, for August game the curse was still persist. For the record, Yoake until now was still QC, Fortune Arterial translator was sick according to his last post before not updating it anymore, and finally as for Daitoshokan I didn't know why the translator stopped it other than it probably related to the real life as well. Third, the game structure had same structure as G-Senjou, and fourth, I think from some spoiler I'd read in review the game ending was not like moege to say the least. Oh, the OP was very good. As for the speculation, actually if possible it should be this company that Mangagamer announce tomorrow, and for the games all of those 4 should be good candidate to announce, although I think Aiyoku was the best according to VNDB though. But Yoake, Daitoshokan, and Fortune Arterial was not too bad though. Oh one more thing, the artist for August was quite famous (I think) with name Bekkankou. 10. Diabolik Lover - Not interested in Otome game, but if you interested you may search for yourself. Since I didn't had interest in this game, instead I'll comment about Steam possibility. I think it might possible if Mangagamer announce this if only to penetrate Steam market more further, because this game was also released at PSP, which mean no H-Scenes for the game because Sony didn't allow porn in the game that they marketed. And since Steam was also adapt same policy as Sony, I think it possible to had this game at Steam. I think that's all for my opinion. Note that once again it was ONLY MY OPINION, and therefore had big chance to be turned out wrong. Although the reason here guess just want to write my opinion about result of poll. But if the poll result was not announced tomorrow, there's still more event to announce. Either way, we need to wait until announcement of course. PS - One last note, apparently Mangagamer add one more announcement from 2 to 3 for event tomorrow. Interesting, so we had once again 3 announcements to look forward. Decay back at VNDB suggested something interesting.

I didn't care about mosaic censorship thing in VN anyway, so I think it didn't matter. Although I understand that some member here agitated about mosaic thing back in Grisaia though. But that's another one note of difference though, so thanks anyway.

Looks like I also need to nitpick some typo on the thread title here too. It should be write Series, not Sceries (And this week it was my 2nd time lol). Anyway, I think the answer from Decay and Deep Blue should be enough, but let me elaborate more on Decay word. Even though Fairy Tale of Two was combined between First Tale and Latter Tale also available from fan patched version and available in single bundle, I'd recommended Mangagamer version even though the size was quite big (2.4 GB for fan patched version vs 5.5 GB for Mangagamer version), because one very simple difference. Fan patched version was somehow managed to screw the program by removing ef Extra menu, while Mangagamer version managed to recover it. I think that's all the difference that matter, although if you want to smaller size and didn't care about extra menu like in usual VN, go for fan translated version, otherwise it was the same in both version.

Oh, I'd just recently browse Fuwanovel forum staff, and just browse 1 of 4 global mods profile Beato. Today was her (Right?) birthday, so happy birthday @Beato, even though you long time not posting or visiting here. And thanks for all of your effort here to moderate Fuwanovel forum.

Complaints about moderation goes here
littleshogun replied to Down's topic in Community Coordination and Feedback
I see. So admin @Tay alternate account, eh ? Well, guess I still could call the global mod here 'Elite Four of Fuwanovel' here. And once again after than that small nitpicking, no much complain of moderation here. -
Complaints about moderation goes here
littleshogun replied to Down's topic in Community Coordination and Feedback
Okay, since the function of this thread apparently was to complained about moderation, not to help recovering certain member from boredom like minor drama above show, how about if I complained about the staff here. What I want to point out was in term of global mod. I didn't had any question for 4 normal member (Maybe better called them Elite Four of Fuwanovel lol. I mean member like Kaguya, Nosebleed, Beato, and Down), but I think I was slightly asked about @ThrallOfTheArchmage as global mod. I mean, he was just recently joined like me (Around 2014), but he didn't had any post here and his last visit was at December 27th. I'd find it extremely suspicious, because if the member with 0 post could be global mod, maybe it's better to give the position to me lol (Just kidding). Here's the proof just in case you think I'm lying. May I ask what's the criteria being global mod if the case like above happened ? Other than small nitpicking matter, I think I didn't had any complaining about moderation in Fuwanovel forum here. -
According to wiki, I think dating sim was part of VN, so it's okay to post it here. As for recommendation, if your computer had emulators go aheaf and try: 1. True Love for NDS (It's sparked a little controversy in regard of someone marrying the character from this game. Yes, you didn't read it wrong, a man in Japan was marrying the character from this game) 2. Sakura Wars 5 for PS2 (It was mixed with SRPG Element though) 3. Thosand Arms for PS1 (Mixed with RPG. Actually this game wasnot on VNDB, but wiki include it in dating sim). Note that I only use list of dating sim at wiki, so it may be wrong or not fit your wish. My sugesstion is thay you better try those first imo. That's all from me.

VN - Comedy, Romance, School, Slice Of Life or Music
littleshogun replied to AquaralSS's topic in Recommendations
Hmmmmm..... guess it's usual recommendaton should do, but first welcome to the forum and hope you enjoy you stay here. Anyway, back to recommendation. There's a ton of translated VN that could fulfill your wish, but first I seconded recommended Nob..... I mean Noodle Work lol (Of course I mean Noble Works). Koisuru Natsu Last Resort also good VN with relaxing music (Not to mention skimpy waitress uniform lol. Although there is no school setting though). Also Hoshizora no Memoria and To Heart 2, which I'm sure will get what you want. tldr - To Op, I recommended Noble Works, Koisuru Natsu no Last Resort, Hoshizora no Memoria, and To Heart 2. Hope you like those 4 VN that I recommended. -
Happy birthday @BookwormOtaku although it's slightly belated and thanks for all of your VN review in your blog. Hope you always do your best also in the future.

Your Top 3 Visual Novels with Gameplay
littleshogun replied to mitchhamilton's topic in Visual Novel Talk
By the way, I also played Madou Koukaku so let me share some of my experience here. @sanahtlig If you talk about the beginning, it was indeed challanging. Especially the first battle when you didn't even got Al yet. It's very hard so much that I need to resort for the strategy that posted in youtube. After you got Al, it was easier though if you managed to nuke the enemy since it will deal major damage and Madou Koukaku itself have some great stat. About point 2, I'm okay for that and therefore didn't had any problem. As for point 3, I think you really didn't need to micromanaging all the building in all of the city imo (Just around the Centakus should be enough I think), since I remember I only build all important building (Belmont shop, prostitute house, magic and tech lab, general shop) in Centakus and I think it cover enough for all of my need in Madou Koukaku. Also for little more micromanaging, I remember that I only developed former capital of conquered territory, while for the rare material I just checked the territory list and build appropriate building to harvest it. If you had a hard time to read thought about, for easier word you didn't really need to micromanaging all of your territory, just Centakus (Treat it as your hub), the conquered capital, and the territory with rare material should be enough. Oh, always upgrade your castle if you had enough material (Although it should be no brainer of course). @yetisphere For Ranaheim, yes it was pretty challenging, especially if you want to attacking Rumorune mountain path. My solution was instead of waiting, it's better to wait until the number in Rumorune show 3, then attack it with the strongest people (Mine was MC (Weissheit), Liselle, and Al obviously). After all, facing 3 commander even if it's named unit (I think in Eushully game named unit tend to be more strong than nameless unit or mook) is far more easier than facing 3 named unit plus 5 mook (I remember when Lacrille almost death then she escape to the tower and replaced by mook. My unit was almost critical and had 0 soldiers, while mook was still full in both of those of course. Not to mention the time was almost up. Damn). After Rumorune, just take your time to conquered Ranaheim, but don't underestimate them though since some battle could still give some headache. I think I'll also write about Himegari here, since apparently there's no Fuwan here who wrote Himegari before (Just treat it as bonus from my top 3 lol) Himegari Dungeon Meister - Well, the battle and system was like prototype Kamidori and the RNG was far more easy to manipulate than Kamidori (Kamidori had determined RNG for each turn and Himegari didn't had it). If you want to revisit dungeon, you will need some rare item called coin in order to do that (It was Scrappy Mechanic since you could only got the coin constantly from the card which is RNG base, and I'd glad that Kamidori didn't employ the same system there). Oh, the MC here was weakened demon king who his soul fused with the soul of very weak human who work as the gardener in the castle where the princess who beat demon king live. So of course the demon king took the chance to have his revenge to the princess, but with him at weakened state he could only rely to his Dragon, female succubus named Lily. From there, the demon king and Lily going down to underground in order to recover his body (I forgot to said that weakened mean only his soul with no strength, and the soul once again was fused). Another system here was that the MC was not fighting, only provide support using mana (Basically from recover HP to reduce all enemy HP to 1) while you leave the fighting to Lily and your minion. There's also item creation like in Kamidori, but I think it's quite messed up and you'll rarely use it. Also the enemy there didn't drop the item 100% like in Kamidori, only randomly. One more thing, you could also sex Lily here to raise stat or learn skill in dungeon (Back in Haruka thread I'd said that Lily was the same as Haruka in regard of loyalty. Made more funny that Haruka's seiyuu was also Lily's seiyuu, and especially with sex your loyal female subordinate to raise stat thing) and you could also grow Lily to teenager or adult form with increased stat of course. -
Kara No Shoujo 2 Discussion (Possible Spoilers)
littleshogun replied to VirginSmasher's topic in Visual Novel Talk
About the demo, yes I read it and I wrote my impression about demo in VNDB. Now, since vorathiel said that the demo contain the spoiler for main game (I didn't had problem with read spoiler though), I'll put it in spoiler box. Below are my impression from demo that I wrote back in VNDB. And for the impression of the game, it's quite nice that they made chapter title based on 7 sins. For the discussion, it's surprisingly quite lack considering this is one of hyped release from Mangagamer back in 2015. I think I'll write my impression later. That's all for now. -
To OP, actually we already had this kind of thread in here, but it's quite easily buried here I guess. And since you stated that you need help, guess I will try to help you (Although I want to show the new music which got my interest recently though). And to @Nahilys, your Fate embedded video only show title menu theme (All of your video) so you better to fix it (A little tips, copy the link after you deleted URL youtube starting from after list word, otherwise your video will be link to first video on the list). Note that I'd give spoiler box for each BGM so it's shorter and easier to read First, I'll show the music from almost released Tokyo Babel. Here's one of the example, and the name was blue wind Recently release H-Game Beat Blade Haruka also had some good battle music, especially boss theme below, named 'The Path of Carnage Speaking about boss theme, below was final boss battle from Yumina the Ethereal And from the opening VN, how about Madou Koukaku OP Full Version belo Now, outside battle theme, here's from Ever17 OST Drittes Auge Nehme And next was H-Scene theme from Konosora, The Light (or Hikari in youtube title And last is from Koisuru Natsu no Last Resort OST, the relaxing one Costa de Sol (And enjoy the girls wearing skimpy outfit, okay XDDDD Hopefully all OST I recommended above will help OP in the future.
-
@Vorathiel Maybe you better give up on this game because looks like it'll be similar to Sharin. Although the 'master' was already dead and Yuuji want to live in normal school by himself though. About dumb heroine, well I didn't know about that, but you may as well just search for Grisaia spoiler up to Rakuen, read it, decided if it's worth or not to continue on, and if not just delete it from your HDD. If you find out you didn't like it, may remove Meikyuu from your waiting list as well, since the main writer of Meikyuu and Rakuen was also responsible in writing Kajitsu common route, Fujisaki Ryuuta.

Your Top 3 Visual Novels with Gameplay
littleshogun replied to mitchhamilton's topic in Visual Novel Talk
@sanahtlig About that, maybe because I couldn't activated it (Too much steps I think) and I kind prefer full screen to play VN. Anyway, I think with help of walkthrough from wiki at least I could understand main story enough. It also help that I used to hear voice in anime, so I could picked some understanding from girl's voice. And yes, I knew the MT was mess in that patch, but to me it's easier solution over text hooker (Just copy and paste the BIN inside rar file on Soukoku game folder). And since you mentioned Seinarukana, guess I'll looks forward to that one when JAST release it. @NickFreja For next VN, how about you got Beat Blade Haruka and Noble Work, if only the reason that you just want to hear Ringorin voice. Oh, in Haruka Ringorin voicing Narika and in Noble Works she was voicing Maya. Although those 2 VN may not suited your taste though. -
Your Top 3 Visual Novels with Gameplay
littleshogun replied to mitchhamilton's topic in Visual Novel Talk
By the way, to OP first I need to nitpicking. The title should be visual, not visaul lol. To be honest, I didn't know much gameplay vn (If you talk about untranslated one. Otherwise, I think I knew all translated gameplay VN), but I'll try to give my best impression about gameplay vn. Since you limiting it to 3, so I think I'll just give 3 gameplay vn that catch my attention recently, although my explanation might expanded though. 1. Soukoku no Arterial - I knew it was machine translated if you using Nekohen patch, I'd already state several time about this game in some of my post (My first post here was give tips to this game too by the way) and I think I'll try to explain it. So the gameplay was you using the card to fighting your opponent, or in Yu-Gi-Oh term duel. While you fighting using card, actually you fighting like a normal people would. So for easier term this is actually SRPG, only using card for the battle. Although it's only for describe the battle, the rule was quite complex actually, but still more simple than Yu-Gi-Oh. As for SRPG element you could craft item like in Kamidori, copying the monster card, interact with girl in order to get their more powerful card (Just thinking Persona 3 or 4), and battling in the arena. I think I must stop it here, otherwise I might end up explaining my trick to beat Soukoku lol. Oh Nekohen also provided MT patch for Madou Koukaku and Himegari too if some of you here didn't care about using MT. 2. Eiyuu Senki - Actually the story was quite weak until you conquered EU, but the story goes like our MC was trapped in the world where all historical figure were all woman. The gameplay was more like Kichikuou Rance than Sengoku Rance actually. The MC was more like Domino from Romanesque iirc (Or maybe just generic nice guy, and Romanesque comparison because it's from same company). The battle system were interesting with brave and hate system. Brave was something like shared mana that gained either by us hitting normally to enemy or enemy hitting attribute bonus (Weakness) to us, while hate was hidden stat that determined enemy targeting pattern. Oh, in here you could also do some quest to gain affection from the girls and help the girls to get the skill that will help them in the battle. As of now, this game actually officially localized for PS3, but some nice man at Russian forum rutracker making the patch that add PS3 translation to PC version, with unnecessary addition (imo) that allow us to get the character from PS3 version and restore H-Scene (I think the art of new characters was unfit in original Eiyuu Senki (I knew they use Kojirou for GOLD) and restored H-Scenes were not translated anyway (Beside, I think PS3 replacement H-Scenes was enough imo and quite nice actually)). But to some people who want H-Scenes, that's nice addition I think. Anyway, I'd played it and it managed to translated everything in PC Version except H-Scenes, which once again not much important compared to H-Scenes in said Konosora imo. 3. Sengoku Rance - My first gameplay VN too and quite good one. It's quite hard if you didn't know what to do, but once you could understand mechanic in this game, it's actually very easy. Although I saw that many newbie made major mistake in regard of attacking Iga though, since it was weak country and that made the new player think Sengoku Rance was unwinnable game. I was actually stuck at play this game until I'd found this LP and following his way to beat Sengoku Rance with minor modification. After that, I'd dared to said the hardest enemy to me would be Tokugawa (Even without 5 of his raccoon bodyguard (And to accomplished that need some high luck), Ieyasu still tough and hit very hard) and Miko Institute (Damn you Souma Hayate and Himiko, Also, you couldn't use usual nuke from Natori before conquered Miko) instead of Demon Army. Oh, speaking about route, the best route would be True Route (Interestingly also default route), then tied between Yamamoto and Kenshin Route, and finally Ran Route is the worst route imo, although if some of you like Ran Route, that's okay too. That's all for now. Actually there's still more, but I think those 3 should be enough to presented. -
Did you always buy any weapon from the store? If not (And I kind of curious if this is really your 2nd playthrough) my suggestion just spent your money on herb medicine there. It was the cheapest item, buy it in number like 5, and do that frequently. About money, I think as long as you did job dilligently (Always take job from the store), you should not had any problem to have it in order to buy 5 herb. The shop had slightly odd system that it'll increase the purchase list based on number of how many item you purchase from the store, so like if you buy total of 20 items the purchase list will increase (Just for example). I didn't know about your status, but if you followed my party suggestion at the beginning and leveling them properly (Like fighting all of the enemy they found in the quest), I think they should be enough before you could buy new weapon. Although I assume you buy the party member accordingly until it reach 9 members, of course. Oh, the shop limit was if there was a weapon sell for 50,000 B. It mean that the most purchase list could unlock. Well, good luck once again.
-
Hmmmm....... if you want the heartwarming one, maybe Koisuru Natsu no Last Resort (At least for relaxing atmosphere imo). I didn't know how much heartwarming there though, but I think every character route in VN would ended up heartwarming you know. And maybe you could also try to play Konosora (My suggestion is that search English patch for Konosora in google and search for torrent of original game, instead of buy from the developer because Moenovel ripped H-Scene and if the restoration patch use on Moenovel version, it would mess up CG Display), since it may be about the length you expected. Oh, but if you want short and heartwarming one, how about True Remembrance here, short and quite heartwarming imo. Well, hope I could help OP here.
-
So Hitogata based on Shirakawa too, eh ? Interesting, although the shrine was different from Higurashi shrine though (By the way, in both of the games, the shrine was the place when the story advance). In any case, guess any people who come to Shirakawa and did something bad there could choose how they would be cursed lol (Either by having your stomach filled by creepy baby like clay doll or having you scratch your neck until it's bleeding. Although both of them was terrible of course).
-
I didn't know much about chuuni, and I'd only got the gist of it from @Clephas. So my list will probably combined of Clephas list and my opinion. Also beware that maybe the recommendation will not fitting you in future. Soukoku no Arterial - I didn't know how you'll approach this game, but the card battle system was better than Princess Waltz. Since you also could read Japan, you could just read it directly. The story was about trapped in another world and the player must battle using card in order to survive. Libra the Vampire Princess - Since clephas recommended Draculius, I'll recommended soon to be translated Libra (By the way, the producer was same ad Draculius producer). The story was our MC turned to the vampire and he will dragged into vampire world mess or something like that according to kickstarter. Tokyo Babel and Ayakashibto - Clephas favorite, and Ayakashibito already translated while Tokyo Babel will be out and translated in April. Ayakashibito tell the story about human with super power, while Tokyo Babel tell the story about apocalyptic world. To OP, I think that's all the VN I could think about, and I also use your list at VNDB to determined which work you didn't read yet. Although those VN above may didn't meet your expectation, my suggestion would be play it. Well have fun. PS - I didn't know if my VN would fulfill your criteria for chuuni you want though, but hopefully it does.
-
About Pygmalion, I'm sorry to heard about that, but I think at least Pygmalion was more acceptable to VNDB and Erogamescape compared to Sougeki though. At least in Pygmalion I'd still saw some comment give around 70 score, while for Sougeki the highest was only 74 (That's only one score with 70 by the way) in EGS (For comparison, Pygmalion score was 70 while Sougeki score was only 40). And I think actually Pygmalion could be compared to Aoishiro in term of shortness imo if you commented that Pygmalion was short imo. Since I'd remember you also talk about Pygmalion getting bugged, I think once again maybe Doddler better try to port Pygmalion to more stable engine like Unity in order to fix the bug. Although it was obviously after doddler already tried to fix all the bug in Pygmalion and it was still failed though. Either way, it'll be hard work to doddler, and the translation still at 51% at this moment anyway. Well, enough about Pygmalion and Sougeki here, and let's wait for Tokyo Babel (11 days later). Looking forward to your review, @Clephas (Or I should said re-review, since I posted your review at VNDB here) even though your impression might change slightly though.

I finished the demo yesterday and let's just said that I had fun. And speaking about seiyuu, I think they play in usual range, although Miyuki Sawashiro here using different voice here compared to Mint in Galaxy Angel or Dlanor in Umineko (Although sometimes she back to her usual range though). As for Raziel, I'd sometimes hear Mayuri (Steins Gate) voice from her. Okay, for the demo, I'd remember that the prologue make fun of usual spriteless character in VN (Schoolgirl A comes to mind, especially Lil...., I mean Yuuri (Nice joke there by the way) scold Sorami for calling her schoolgirl A lol), and the prologue was Sorami was about going home with her sister like in any moege until something happen. Oh Sorami 'sister' turned out to be very slightly off and she was actually fallen angel named Gethel. After Gethel played with Sorami a little bit, then our MC (Setsuna) come to interrupt sisters bonding time and fighting Gethel. After MC defeat Gethel, Sorami got Gethel's eye before killed by Lilith. From there they go to Pandora together with Raziel, and doing sol thing and also prepared for the journey in there. And the demo ended when Setsuna fighting at 3rd stratum (The journey was like Setsuna and friend must go through 7 stratum to reach heaven in order to prevent apocalypse). I could only write a few here, since the demo was surprisingly long. A little nitpick from me, why the purgatory must be modeled after Tokyo and why the settlement must be high school instead of said resort or something like office lol. Although I understand the trope called Tokyo is Center of Universe though (But I prefer to use the world as the model and modeled purgatory stratum after major city in the world though, if you ask my opinion) and for school thing, let's just said that I also understand that they probably thinking the target market was high school student, so it's normal that they made school setting I think (But I understand if some people want to complained about school setting though). Anyway, it's not like major flaw anyway, so it's fine. @Rooke At least it's not 15 GB lol, but 9 GB was still big size though. Hopefully Mangagamer could also compress Tokyo Babel here too, since I'd know that Mangagamer managed to compress Kara no Shoujo 2 from 4.6 GB to 3.5 GB. And speaking about compression, according to one staff in Alice Room it's quite amazing that they managed to compress Haruka from 3.5 GB to only 1 GB imo. And back to the size, about the demo it's quite hard and long wait to me for download lol (At least in certain site I knew that I could just download each part which only around 200 MB, not 2.1 GB for one download. Just my nitpick here, okay). @Clephas It's quite interesting that they didn't release this and Pygmalion to console though. I mean with all star seiyuu, I think it'll draw much attention from anime lover who had console, especially those 2 games had all star seiyuu cast (HanaKana and Kitamura Eri also back in Pygmalion). Although if the problem was budget, it's understandable maybe. But the budget issue might be true though, considering you said that Sougeki only had short playtime, the sprite copied (Or resembled character) from old propeller game (One review said that the teacher was resemble Soushichi (Ayakashibito's MC) from Ayakashibito), the BGM was recycled, and the engine was bugged. Even with those issue, I think the writer couldn't made good chuunige, since his portfolio was according to VNDB was only nukige or sonething like that. And sorry to bring your bad memory of Sougeki. One last thing, I think the character dynamic in Tokyo Babel was good, and to Decay, I think Setsuna was like Yuuji from Grisaia franchise, only Setsuna came from ruined world that caused by war. I think that's all for now.

Complaints about moderation goes here
littleshogun replied to Down's topic in Community Coordination and Feedback
Okay, this is getting very slightly ridiculuous. But first let me state something about my post in here. Even if the fact was true, in the end it didn't matter to me if originalren was mod favorite one or not, because what's matter is once again the result (Aokana patch). So, before the star of this thread tried to use my statement (bigfatround0), let me state that I also didn't care about your effort to convince us about mod favoritsm either, but I think you got very very very very slightly annoying here. Mod @Down I think this thread was quite useless to said it frankly, since other than bigfatround0 who actively act like troll and tried to challange the mod with his useless statement (And suddenly I remember of luckypaper case in VNDB), not much user who had complained with moderation here I think. Although if I may complained about moderator, looks like mods had too much free time to feed the troll like bigfatround0 lol (Then again, guess me too). @bigfatround0 If you feel thar original ren was deserved to be banned, you MUST show us and the mods here which post that made him deserve the banned (Good luck for digging 4000 or so of his post, although I doubt attention seeker like you would do that though), and also the proof that originalren was mod favorite from the posts here. Otherwise, I'll just said that you're a troll here. And even if you fed up with moderation here, there's no point to constantly spam this thread with your hate to mod here, you know (And I didn't know what made you come here other than you must be bored and watched the drama, then involved in it and stir it up). Oh about you said mod kept denying, guess I could also use the same statement to you, you just keep denying that you actually didn't had any proof here. And if you said that you had the proof that originalren had deserved the banned, I'll be waiting for the list, even if you need a day to list it (Assuming you already collected the proof here anyway). Sorry a liitle caught up for the moment, but once again I'm was very very very very very slightly annoyed to bigfatround0 here. -
@spademan Probably not. I think Tokyo Babel was only all age release in the first place (Although by all age I mean no H Scene and for age 15 or more anyway), and add H-Scenes for release mean that it'll take more time than that to release it right now. Or in easier word, if propeller want to add H-Scenes, the release of Tokyo Babel will suffer delay.

@Dergonu Actually, I'd tried to keep my post as clean from spoiler as possible, so if you read my post you only find mostly about seiyuu info from me. Although it will be nice you reread it though. Oh, I'd already give spoiler warning before you click the linked review, because it was full of the spoiler from Tokyo Babel. I forgot to comment about this, but for the first 3 months of 2016 Mangagamer managed to release 3 big release (Yurirei, Haruka (Actually might count as nukige, but still), and now this) which is of course very good, while last year for first 3 months of 2015 Mangamer only had 2 big release (eden and Evangile). Just want to comment about it here. As of now, I think Mangagamer was the most productive company for churning out good games (Although some fan was disappointed that they only release download version though), while JAST still slow with the release as usual (And at this moment they had Seinarukan Golden Master). Still waiting for Sekai news in regard of Root Double, but I think Sekai release this year was only few short VN (Atom Grrrl, Strawberry Vinegar, and Nekopara 2) for first 3 months. Still better than JAST though, which their release was only infamous Flower demo lol. Oh, back to Tokyo Babel, I think it's good that this game already attract some user here. That's all for now in regard of my post.
