  1. Honestly I don't have any problem with him being racist to non-Asian and saying that Asian can't be racist (Nevermind that every races can be racist to the other races to a degree, and let's just stop it here) as long as he managed to finish the translation and released the translation patch to the public, although unfortunately he didn't do that as the basic requirement of trust so yeah he definitely a lost cause on top of him already being racist.
  2. Well there's Lupercalia, although whether over the top nature in theater can be interpreted as chuuni or not is another matter (At least it might be in line with Dies Irae if you treat the writing is in line with theater). For more explicit chuuni, other than Magatsu Barai (I seconded this after mod Clephas), perhaps you can try Raillore (If you didn't mind the lack of narration on it), Red Cherish, or Jewelry Heart Academia. Once again I hope that my recommendations here will be helpful to you even though you may not enjoy those VNs later.
  3. Long time no see, and I'm still the same here in that I'm still writing about weekly VNTS Review in which I still manage keep doing it for six years. Anyway no much to say other than good luck to the other group who doing the translation, and hopefully you won't ask us the three secrets of the artist just as the requirement to get the full translation patch (Seriously that other guy who ask it has some loose screw).
  4. Well I did try to do some research, and turned out that it's indeed quite a nice game with the good story despite that the title lured us to think that there'll be a lot of disturbing scene. That said though, I still have some concern on one tag on VNDB (Scat) and I don't know on how it apply to GSS here because the last time I know that tag is from euphoria which to say is quite infamous. Oh yes special mention should goes to the art, in which it's still good enough despite that GSS here is basically 16 years old VN thanks to Ueda Metawo who keep proving himself capable making good art as shown in Sadistic Blood as well (So much that JAST offer a patch to return the mosaic just because some picture are quite disturbing which shown that the artist can also make some very good disturbing art). For the answer in regard on who's been excited on this, well I'm more or less in the middle here. Also apparently JAST promised that they'll release it in this year, and now they already fully translated it according to the translator's tweet here it might be possible that we may have it released within this year.
  5. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and looks like you have some worls that were already done (I'll try to check it later). That aside no much that I can say other than good luck in regard of your next project if you're already worked on it, and also I hope that you'll enjoy yourself here.
  6. Welcome to Fuwanovel. Seeing that r/visualnovels moderator has some bad decision and not to mention that literal autist who act like a bot keep saying that some VNs suck because it has mosaic along with some equally face-palming worthy statements, perhaps it would be for the best to joining Fuwanovel here. I did remember that I see your post several time on Reddit as well, so perhaps I should check it again later. Oh yeah there's also r/vns if you want another subreddit that was less problematic than r/visualnovels, although you may not quite interested with it which to say I can see why. My rambling about the state of Reddit aside of course you can do what you've been doing in the past, and obviously you can also ask for VN Recommendations here if you feel like to do so. Lastly I hope that you'll have fun in here.
  7. Welcome to Fuwanovel @Heimeropen, and since I rarely come to F95 I suppose I can say that this is our first meeting here. That said though, I hope that you'll have good time in here as well.
  8. Welcome to Fuwanovel @Slankbot and what a straightforward intro, so I'll just say that I hope that you'll enjoy yourself in here if you decided to logged in sometimes in the future.
  9. Ginharu is now fully translated, and yes you didn't read it wrong in which it's obviously meant that all of 10 sex scenes from Yuzuki's route were finished. What I can say is that for someone who claim that Yuzuki is not exactly the translator's favorite, he can keep up with the good pacing like back on Mizuha's route. Granted it might be faster if he translate Yuzuki's route at the same pace as Mizuha's route, but the pace for Yuzuki's route progress is still reasonable so no problem. Also it help that he find Yuzuki's route is a great one even though he said that the sex scenes is quite a slog. That said though, just because we have Ginharu fully translated doesn't mean that we'll going to have Yuzuki's patch released (As much as I want it to be like that) seeing that there's still some works left, such as translating the ending movie, artbooks contents, background images, and so on. Of course though the most important next step is editing in which it'll be Irru's job, and considering that we still not see Mizuha's patch being released yet easy to say that the editing process may took some time to be done. Lastly while I can understand the critic toward Trip (And I also want to question his own stance in regard of Yuzuki), I agree that without him wanted to translate Hoshiori we may never have two tone work's VNs (And Tsujidou) being translated so at least we should thank him for his work on those VNs and of course for translating at least majority of Ginharu here. That's all for the update here, and hopefully the next update can be in regard of Mizuha's patch release or even better Yuzuki's patch release.
  10. Chronicles of Refugia - Okay I admit that the graphic is quite good and having three Alices looks interesting, although too bad that it's just the first episode so obviously we need to wait for the full version of it. In any case, I just hope that it won't end up like Daresora. Beat Refle - I thought that it'll be another VN with sex scenes, but after I see Tanaka Rie as one of the VA I find out that it's indeed all age VN which is not too farfetched seeing that we have massage minigame in Mary Skelter 2 (It's more like rubbing minigame though, but it should be close enough). Sheol - Apparently it has some disturbing contents, although no much that I can see seeing that it's just developed. Well at least it's short enough so that Sekai can work on this quickly, although to be frank I prefer them to work on both of Madosoft VNs (ie Hamidashi and Raspberry Cube). Amanatsu - Seeing that it has Hayase Yuu who as we know wrote Smee VNs that has a lot of comedy, it should be obvious that he probably write a lot of comedy in Amanatsu. Other than that, as per usual Azarashi Soft VNs the arts itself are pretty good looking. Natsu no Owari - Cube VN with single heroine, and the writer definitely took some reference from the current pandemic seeing that it almost resemble the current real life event. In any case seeing that the art is quite nice to see I can say that I hope Shiravune will localize this sometimes in the future if possible. That's all for what I can write in regard of August 2022 VNs releases.
  11. Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. Well you can always post something about your project and enjoy yourself here, and also good luck to your project there.
  12. Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. No much to say other than good luck on your project and I hope that you'll have fun in here.
  13. Welcome to Fuwanovel @Saetron, and sorry for the belated greeting. As for your Steam Deck guide, I hope that it'll be useful to anyone else who want to play it on Steam Deck, also good luck in regard of testing several VNs on it. Lastly I hope that you'll have fun in here. PS - There's also Re:Lief in case you need a new game to tested on Steam Deck, although I understand if you're hesitant on it because it has no English version. That said though, there's a mod that add the English translation if you need it.
  14. Ajikko - Since you mention Shokugeki no Souma, I should say that perhaps Ajikko here is the more simple one with the MC is more or less just want to keep proving himself as the better cook, and from one of the latest chapter I can see that it's resembled Yakitate Japan manga. Granted the format here might be not welcome to someone who prefer to have more focus on the story instead of focusing on cooking preparation and stuff, but if anything else at least it didn't have the same problem that plaguing Souma (ie evil parents, evil stepbrother who initially want to marry the main female (To be fair he initially didn't know about the relation), and the lack of cooking in the later part). City Hunter - Okay we have a handsome sweeper who is a lecher with his female companion do her best to control her partner tendency, although I remember it as one of the manga that was illegally published (As in the publisher didn't ask the permission from the original writer to publish and sell the product) in Indonesia with the translator for the manga is quite colorful if not deviate too far from the original text. Esper Mami - I can say that Giant here become the good guy by becoming the sidekick for female MC, although Giant here actually is already the good guy expect for his numerous bullying on Nobita (I mention it because Esper Mami is another Fujiko F. Fujio work with the signature art that obviously resembled Doraemon). Anyway unlike Doraemon, Esper Mami here is targeting the older audience looking from the initial setting alone in which instead of elementary Mami herself is junior high student. There's also nudity matter in which Mami was often asked by her father to do the modelling, although by looking at on how often we see Shizuka took a bath that Nobita often stumbled into (Who bear the mention that both are elementary school students) it shouldn't be surprising that Mami was fully naked here simply because she's older than Doraemon's main cast. My comparison with Doraemon aside, the series itself is more or less about Mami who using her psychic power to help the people around her. That's all for what I can say in regard of 1987 anime.
  15. Once again since we have another rough patch for Houkago Cinderella and 'Houkago' itself is literally mean 'Afterschool', I decided to make another VA parody with Ayumu of Imaimo VA in that it's Chihara Minori with her most well known role is the alien from Haruhi franchise (Nagato Yuki), so we have 'Afterschool Alien' for this week VNTS Review title. Anyway as for this week while we have several releases from official company and fan translation, what I can say is that I'm not particularly find those releases interesting. That said, at least we have several nice updates from fan translation in regard of two partial patch release update (One of those is the aforementioned Houkago Cinderella), so at least this week is more interesting compared to the last week although overall is just an average one. Anyway let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well. We have a new release from Kagura Games with the title 'How to Built a Magnificent Kingdom' that has the premise where the princess from a fallen kingdom tried her best to rebuild her kingdom, although obviously the road to do that will be not easy. In there the player will be act as the apprentice knight who tasked to help the princess to build the kingdom's military with the player will be take care of the army who will fight in case the kingdom want to defend or attacking another nation. It also has brothel management game in which it may remind people of Dohna Dohna, although with the strategy gameplay aspect it's more or less like Madou Koukaku which in turn was probably inspired by Civilization franchise. Go get the game on Steam, and have fun. Shiravune did release Tamakagura back on 26th, and no much to say other than have fun if you want to play another game that featured shrine maiden fight several monsters and will be raped if said shrine maiden is lose. Speaking of being raped by monsters, we also have JAST just released Inyochu today (For the reminder Inyochu is about several female demon hunters who face the risk to be raped by monsters if they lose), and I have no much to say other than it's good to see that JAST did manage to release one of their 2022 AX announcement at the same year they announced it so hopefully they'll manage to do the same with the rest of their AX announcements. We also have Cherry Kiss announced another isekai nukige with the title Harem King: Peasant to Princess Gotta Breed 'Em All! is definitely parodied Pokemon's catchphrase, and in case you're interested with it you can wait until September 9th later in which it'll be released on that date. Looks like Sekai may not be able to release Our Marriage 1 on August as the developer predicted, so obviously it mean that there'll be no longer possibility of August release. At least Sekai here manage to launch the Steam store of it along with them released the trial of it, so you can try the trial here in case you looking forward to the GL VN release later. Nekonyan did release Makeover FD back on August 26th, and no much to say other than go get it if you want to see the after stories of your favorite heroines at Makeover. If anything else, at least I can see that Smee still retain their usual comedy writing, especially when we see on how some of the after stories scenario on VNDB are not what we can say a very serious one. We have a group did translate Bakemonogatari game for PSP, and no much to say expect at least you can try it if you're a big fan of Bakemonogatari anime (You can easily use PSP emulator to make up the lack of PC version of it). We also have Hoka no Otoko After Story translation patch release, in which said VN is the after story of the NTR VN that was released back on May. The premise is still the same in which the wife want a child, except this time she want to have another child and thus the husband (The MC) decided to use the successful method by asking his little brother to once again impregnate his own wife because the MC himself is more or less sterile. For the rest of the updates from fan translation, we have Chronos was at 30% edited, White Album 2 Mini After Story had the last after story was at 69% translated, Senmomo was at 69.89% edited with Chapter 5 was past halfway (54.31%) edited, ChuSingura was at 10.27% translated, and 35 out of 37 script files for Yuzuki's route of Ginharu were translated. As for Houkago Cinderella rough patch release, this time the patch itself did translate Tsukushi's route so with this patch now we have 3 out of 5 routes in Houkago Cinderella were (Roughly) edited. For the next plan, the translator will translate either Maria's or Yukiko's route, although looking from the progress the translator could be decided to work on Yukiko's route first with her route currently was at 6.22% translated. We also have Imaimo translator announced that the full translation patch of it will be released on September 9th later, and seeing that he only need to do the remaining QC work for the whole Ayumu's route we may see it happen. Last but not the least, we also have the partial patch release for Walkure Romanze with said patch is translated Lisa's route along with common and Celia's routes, so you can get it if you just want to play it for Lisa. There's also some translation update on it, with the translator already worked on Mio's route with said route is currently at approximately 35% translated along with said that it'll be the next route to be translated. There's also some progress on Noel's route as well, with said progress was roughly at a quarter translated along with 23% TL checked. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.
  16. Welcome back, and yes Fuwanovel here is indeed still going (Also sorry for the belated greeting). I see that you apparently tried to develop some new VNs, so good luck with that. I see that you show some interest to sci-fi VN, so in this case I'll recommend some title such as Root Double and Ever17 in case you still don't play those two yet. Lastly I hope that you'll have fun in here.
  17. First of all welcome to this week VNTS Review and sorry for being very late here. Anyway as for the title seeing that Amatsutsumi has Kotodama power which to say is very reminiscence of Geass from Code Geass anime (In which the Nook Gaming review on Amatsutsumi did point it out), I decided to make parody of Code Geass by changing 'Geass' to 'Kotodama' for an obvious reason so we have 'Code Kotodama' as this week review title. As for this week, while we have some interesting updates from fan translation along with the announcement of Aokana EXTRA2 even with said announcement is more or less quite predictable, in the end it's still a below average one bordering plain although I still like some of the updates here. With that done, let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well. JAST announced that they'll release one of the title that they announced on AX on 29th later, although unfortunately said title is not either Tokyo Necro or Gears of Dragoon 2 but instead it's Inyochu which as we know has some female demon hunter who will suffer the rape from the monster (You can note the date if you interested with it). As for Nekonyan's Aokana EXTRA2 announcement, while we should already see it happen in the first place it's still nice to see that we have Nekonyan did confirm it as the hard proof. EXTRA2 itself is the fandisc of Aokana with the main focus on Misaki, and from the review that I read apparently it has quite high production value with some focus on Flying Circus. As for the progress it's been fully translated, and of course it didn't mean that it's ready for the release because there's still some works to do such as porting the engine because for some reason sprite still didn't manage to add Music Gallery in Japanese version of EXTRA2. For fan translation update, we have ChuSingura was at 9.20% translated, White Album 2 Mini After Story had the last after story was past halfway (52%) translated, Houkago Cinderella was at 56.83% translated, Ciel route Day 11 of Tsukihime Remake was fully translated, Chronos was at a quarter edited, and Senmomo was at 68.78% edited with Chapter 5 was at 44.80% edited. We also have two surprise updates, with one of those from Nursery Rhyme in which the translator just finished all the insertion progress and so the translator as of now doing the testing before releasing the patch. Another one is from Lupercalia, in which the translator did manage to translate 50 out of 94 script files which apparently consist of the common route. Anyway the translator here decided to try finish the translation work by October, and let's see if he'll manage to do it later. This week we have several updates from Daybreak Translation, starting from Ginharu in which as of now we have 32 out of 37 script files of Yuzuki's route along with her 9 out of 10 her sex scenes were translated. We also have the update in regard of Schwarzesmarken, although unfortunately it's in regard on how the developer decided to do C&D to the project so Daybreak decided to comply with it and thus the project was dropped (Well at least it mean that age still care for Schwarzesmarken and thus we may see age decided to work on it in the future). Other than Schwarzesmarken C&D, we also have the update in regard of Akagoei FD with the translator was already finished translated Takanori Extra story. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week and once again sorry for being late here. See you next week.
  18. Another update, and this time we have 32 out of 37 script files for Yuzuki's route along with her 9 out of 10 sex scenes were translated. No much to say that at least we almost have all of Ginharu sex scenes translated, and that's all for the update.
  19. Maison Ikoku - What I know is that the manga of it was published by adult manga publisher in Indonesia which is mirrored the Japanese one in which it's published in seinen (ie adult male) manga magazine, although the art is pretty much quite tame compared to the manga for the same target. Other thing to note is that it's the work where the author (Takahashi Rumiko) decided to not included supernatural manga as opposed to her work beforehand, so obviously don't expect supernatural fight in here (Duh) but instead expect some romantic comedy with said romance is between a student who've been trying to get into the university and his landlord (Perhaps it should be landlady) who try to move on from her loss of husband which may or may not resemble Damekoi, except that the age gap is only two years with the male MC is at 20 while the landlady is at 22. Dragon Ball - Contrary to the newer series that we grow to know, this one is leaned toward comedy in which it's more or less the parody of 'Journey to the West' with Goku is obviously the parody of Sun Wukong. Of course this one also has some fight, although the one with the intense fight is saved for the tournament arcs (There's three of those). Oh yes in case someone miss the newer Dragon Ball story which usually involving save the world from a very strong enemy when someone watch this, you don't need to worry because there'll be one arc that has it after the second tournament arc. Forgot to mention that in here the search for Dragon Ball is still get some focus, while in the newer series it's just treated as an afterthought (Because by then Goku are already very strong) and instead the series just focused to the battle with the titular Dragon Ball just used as Reset Button in case some people (Inevitably) dead because of the action of the enemies. Anyway one thing to say is that this series is the start on how Dragon Ball will because the money making machine for Toriyama Akira here. That's all for what I can say in regard of 1986 anime.
  20. Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. I don't know when you did stop read the VNs, but depending on the time compared to back then nowadays there's quite a number of new translated VNs, so if you need some newly translated VNs recommendation you can ask us here. Lastly I hope that you'll have fun in here, and of course you can always talk to us in regard of some topic.
  21. That's quite an introduction there. Anyway no much to say other than good luck to live in Japan if you already decided to do it, and of course I hope that you'll have fun in here.
  22. Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. Well take your time to search for inspiration in regard of your game there, and good luck in regard of it later. Lastly I hope that you'll have fun in here.
  23. Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. Well good luck if you already have some work that you want to translate to Italian there, and I hope that you'll have fun in here.
  24. Shoukojou Sara - The most well known World Masterpiece Theater series in Japan, and it was referenced in Rance VI where Rance will fight the parody of Miss Minchin which as you can see is the headmistress who only want Sara's fortune, and of course as soon as Sara's father dead Miss Minchin did drop her nice facade and being mean to Sara seeing that she's now just another poor student. Of course though through one way or another, Sara will find a way to get her life getting better and she will get it. By the way out of World Masterpiece Theater anime series, I did manage to read the original source of Shoukojou Sara, The Little Princess, although obviously it's Indonesian translated version. Dirty Pair - For the info the reason why the titular pair is called as such is not because of their sexy costumes that would attract some male with dirty mind lol, but rather the collateral damage that happen around the pair when they did the mission. Granted while the pair mission are not always ended with said damage and that it's not their fault, the rate itself is quite high with 1 out of 3 missions by the pair may ended with damage that involving explosion of several inhabited planet which to say would cause some headache to the higher up, thus the pair get the nickname Dirty Pair. Anyway other than that, the pair did inspire several works with similar formula (Two beautiful girl capable to fight, or Lovely Angels trope) with the most recent anime that follow the format is Lycoris Recoil. Magical Emi - The third Magical Girl Pierrot series with the premise we have Emi turned into adult in order to become the magician, and unlike previous two series actually this time Emi did her job because of her dream instead of just doing the mission. Like previous two series actually Emi was also broadcasted in Indonesia, although unlike Persia by the time it's aired in here my TV can't catch the signal from the station properly so I didn't watch it much other than the occasional time when the TV somehow manage to catch the signal. That's all for what I can say in regard of 1985 anime.
  25. Since we have Nagomibako and Animal Trail with the latter featuring idol released I decided to make the parody based on an interactive webapp Star in a Box, so we have 'Idol in a Box' as the title. For more elaboration, in regard of the idol actually it's more like aspiring star as marketed by their talent agencies so it's still fitting to say idol as star, while for the box it should be obvious that it's from Nagomibako with the 'bako' itself is literally mean 'box'. Anyway this week here is more interesting compared to the last week, especially with several updates from Sekai. Of course though there's still some updates from fan translation with the notable one for this week is Daybreak Translation decided to work on Schwarzesmarken which as we know is one of Muv Luv spin-off, and there's also a sudden update with Haruka no Sora translation project. Overall this week here is more or less an average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. Shiravune did release the nukige Revenge of the Orcs, and well I suppose you may as well try it if you have some interest on the nukige featuring orcs. Speaking of nukige, Cherry Kiss also released Yandere Goddess nukige in which it's featured exactly what the title said (It's the goddess who has yandere tendencies in case you need some reminder), and if anything else at least I should praise the translator for Cherry Kiss in regard of their localization choice for the title and the synopsis even though their releases are not exactly where my interest lie is. I also know that the VNTS 4chan did list Gaia Kickstarter as successful, although I won't list it as successful yet even though it's pretty clear that they already gathered the required fund on Day 1 until they close the Kickstarter later. For Animal Trail, it's newest short Whirlpool VN that focused on two members of animal magical girl idol quartet. While normally we would have all four idols as the heroines, apparently Whirlpool decided to divided it into two heroines per game so we may have the rest of the idol group as the heroines in the sequel. Go get Animal Trail if you want to date the heroines who are also magical girl idol, and have fun. For the rest of the update, we have Akairo was at 20% translated, Sheol was at 60% translated, Nie no Hakoniwa was at 35% translated, Yumeiro was at 70% along with a quarter edited, QUALIA was at one third in QA, Eternal Heart was also turned out to be at one third in QA (I assume that Sekai did mistakenly meant engine work progress as QA in the past update), and last but not the least we have Morning Mist was at halfway in QA. What I know from Schwarzesmarken is that it's yet another Muv Luv spin-off that apparently also get the anime, and that it's been divided into two games (Crest of Blood and Martyrs) according to the translator himself. age also has a plan to localize it with the current progress is it already through Steam Greenlight, although so far there's no more update on this so Daybreak decided to do the translation work by themselves. Of course though in case age suddenly show some interest to continuing on it and sending C&D notice to Daybreak, the latter would obviously comply to it and suspend the project. Anyway as for the progress, as of now the translator did say that he's already translated several chapters from the first game (Crest of Blood) here. For Nagomibako, what I can see is that apparently it's Cartagra fandisc with three story, and one of those stories is obviously the after story for Cartagra which of course would be what people focused on seeing that we have it translated. From what I see in one of the review, other than Cartagra after story Nagomibako was also has stand alone story along with some comical story full of meme or something like that. You can get translation patch of Nagomibako in case you want more Cartagra at their Discord (You can see the address on the Imgur file here), and have fun. We have sudden jump in Haruka no Sora progress, and for the current progress we have Sora's after story was at 63% translated along with Yahiro's route was at 68% translated and Kozue's route was at 10% translated. They also promised October release with the translators was get the incentives to increase their motivation, although whether it'll effective or not we'll see. For the remaining updates, we have Chronos was at 20% edited, ChuSingura was at 8.39% translated, Hokejo was fully translated with some touch-ups work left, Houkago Cinderella was at 54.55% translated, Ciel Day 9 of Tsukihime Remake was fully translated, Senmomo was at 67.54% edited with Chapter 5 was at 34.28% edited, White Album 2 Mini After Story had the last after story was at 38% translated, Eustia was at 97.65% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 87.51% in programming, and 28 out of 37 script files for Yuzuki's route of Ginharu along with her 7 out of 10 sex scenes were translated. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
