  1. Late for the update here. Anyway as of now we have 28 out of 37 script files for Yuzuki's route along with her 7 out of 10 sex scenes were translated, and with that the translator already finished with her high school arc so all that's left is Yuzuki's adult arc. It also should be noted that the translator intended to finish the translation of Yuzuki's route by September 8th, so let's see if we can see the update when all of 37 script files of Yuzuki's route are translated by September 8th later. That's all for the update from Daybreak in regard of Yuzuki's route.
  2. Nausicaa - Beforehand I only know that it's one of Ghibli Studio work, although I see that actually Miyazaki initially just want to make the movie out of it before he decided to make a manga of it because the higher up won't accept his proposal to make the movie unless it's adapted from the available media. So of course Miyazaki did create a manga and thus adapted the story from the manga, and for the manga that was supposed to be created as the way to get the proposal accepted turned out that it's quite well received and more expansive compared to the movie even though the movie obviously would be more well known compared to the manga (Bonus point he manage to finish the manga despite his several understandable hiatus). Fist of the North Star - Toei did expand the adaptation from the manga alone, and thanks to that we can see on how Kenshirou did kill several bandits in a very flashy (And bloody) manner animated here. Oh yes people obviously recognize the anime more because of the meme 'Your are already dead', although of course there's more than that. Anyway no much to say here other than it's good anime to see if you like Kenshiro, and also if you interested to see the old anime that share the same Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs animation that future shonen manga adaptation (ie Dragon Ball and One Piece) like to use. Glass Mask - In case you thought that One Piece or Hunter x Hunter are very long, actually Glass Mask here is longer because it's been ongoing since 1976 and so far there's no update on this with the last update is on 2012. The story here is pretty much like sports manga where both of the MC and the rival has a fierce competition, except the sport here is replaced with the main role of a legendary play along with some romance story mixed up. Other than 1984 anime, it also has 2005 anime along with several plays, although obviously none can deliver the final conclusion of the story seeing that the manga is still on hiatus with no ending in sight as long as the author keep her hiatus (The last info that I can get is from 2018 when she said that she'll continue this, but no chapters until now). Persia - Another Pierrot Magical Girl series after Creamy Mami, and if you wonder on how much it'll be only five series. As for Persia itself, I did have it broadcasted in Indonesia with the name Perusha (Japanese spelling of Persia) with the story here is basically about the girl from Africa came into Japan and gain the ability to transform like Minky Momo, and she also has her lion friend from Africa turned into mascot in order to accompany her quest as the magical girl. Unlike Creamy Mami and Minky Momo in which I did manage to watch those two until the end, no such luck happen with Persia here because the TV that I used to watch Persia had bad reception to the TV station that broadcasted it so I just manage to watch it halfway. That's all for what I can say in regard of 1984 anime.
  3. Welcome to this week VNTS Review and sorry for being very late here. As for the title, since we have Amatsutsumi main heroine Hotaru who's literally mean firefly I decided to make a parody of the the anime movie that has firefly word, and for the info it's not 'Grave of the Firefly' but rather 'Into the Forest of Fireflies' Light' (Bonus point for having the female protagonist of said movie is also Hotaru) so we have 'Into the Town of Fireflies' Light' as the title because Amatsutsumi's main setting is in the backwater town with the MC Makoto thought that it has more civilized compared to his (More) backwater village. Anyway as for this week, well if anything else at least Shiravune and Sekai along with Aksys Games did get to announce their next releases so that's nice, although of course there's still some nice updates from fan translation. Overall I suppose this week is quite plain, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. Sekai finally released Miko no Kanata nukige after several years forgot abut it, and according to VNDB the last time we have the update is in 2018 with the last update that I have is they'd awaiting for the engine work. Well at least all of those works are finally finished and it's good to see that finally Sekai finished with it. As for the next release, they'll release Animal Trail on tomorrow (ie 12th) so you can wait until tomorrow if you want to play the VN featuring magical girl idol that also being half animal. As for Aksys releases date, one of those are basically they clarified that they still release Piofiore 1926 on September 22nd later. For the other announcements from them, we have them announced that they'll release Lover Pretend on December 1st and Paradigm Paradox on October 27th, so you can note the date if you've been looking forward to those two otome VNs and have Switch. Shiravune released Great Deceiver, and well mosaic or not it's still a nukige that basically is about female domination from the same company as the one who made Starless (Which is quite infamous). If anything else, at least Sei Shoujo art here should be still good enough if you've been fans of his art and I can say that his art here is indeed quite nice looking. For the releases announcement, Shiravune did announce two releases in that they'll release Revenge of the Orcs on tomorrow and Tamakagura Tales of Turmoil on September 26th, so at least we already have three out of five new licenses from them taken care of. Let's see what kind of the VNs that they'll announce later on. For fan translation updates, we have ChuSingura was at 7.05% translated, Chaos Head Noah was at 65.35% TLC-ed and edited, Chronos was at 15% edited, Houkago Cinderella was at 52.42% translated, Eustia was at 97.65% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 87.51% in programming, and 26 out of 37 script files for Yuzuki's route of Ginharu were translated with her 6 out of 10 sex scenes scenes are done. We have Nagomibako translator announce that they'll release the full translation patch on 14th later, which mean naturally all 138 script files of it were edited. Lastly we have the update from White Album 2 Mini After Story with the translator finished translating 2 out of 3 after stories and currently he's been working on the last after stories with the current progress was at 31% translated. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
  4. For mosaic it's on the character naked sprites (Obviously the female one), so if you have some trouble with some mosaic in the character sprites (Granted that it's mostly minor problem at most, but some may consider it as major problem) perhaps you can reconsider to play Amatsutsumi here. That aside though, I have more problem with the untranslated song titles like I say above because in the past I prefer to have translated song title in the VN, and for the info I'm the one who suggest to add translated song title in Amayui translation patch. Other than those two, well I don't have much problem with both videos and SD Arts are still in Japanese so I'll just let it go (Of course though it would be a bonus if Sekai did manage to work on those two). For title bar issue, it's not only from the title screen but it also happen if you load it from some other chapter (ie if you load the save with 'Kokoro 2' while you're on 'Kokoro 1' the title bar is still read as 'Kokoro 1') although obviously most people would load the save from the title. Anyway it shouldn't matter much here if you play the full screen anyway, although it's obviously would be problematic if you prefer to see the current chapter title in the title bar.
  5. Digimon Survive - Let me try to comment on this even though I did say I treat it as games. As for the battle, while one can say it's one of the flaw because it's being too easy, if anything else at least it arguably quite easy to have Self-Imposed Challenge in the game (It may not as difficult as usual challenge run in the other game though). For the story it's easy to say that it's resembled Digimon Adventure 2000 one, which to say might be nostalgic for any old fans of Digimon. That said there's a bit difference in Survive here, namely that some of the contents are just a little tiny bit more darker than usual Digimon which I won't spoil it here even though Youtube playthrough obviously inevitably spoil it. Once again I can say that this should be good games for Digimon fans if you didn't mind the text heavy gameplay, although the number of the Digimon are reduced though so not many Digimon that can be collected. Jewelry Heart Academia - Another VN from Cabbage Soft that would be nice to localize instead of Amairo Chocolata duology, and apparently it has some usual fantasy school setting along with some hidden plot. Sentou Kanojo - There'll be PC version of this on September 1st later, and in case you want to play it as soon as possible on PC there's unofficial port of this. Anyway it's good to see that we finally have the VN with trap MC after Otoboku (As far as I recall it's the only notable VN with trap MC that was translated), even though this time we only have one heroine in here. It's too bad that apparently it has no sex scenes despite both VAs using the alias that they usually used when voicing eroge, but then again maybe the official PC version will have sex scenes through the 18+ patch. Anonymous Code - Well I guess I can say that the staffs may not confident if Anonymous Code can stand on it's own so that the director decided to announce that it's set in the same universe as Steins Gate, although whether it'll be good promotion or not is another matter (If anything else at least the staffs not adding Steins Gate character as blatant fanservice like Daru at Robotic Note DaSH). It's also interesting to note that apparently it goes through six times of rewrite, which perhaps it's the result of trying to connect the story with Steins Gate settings. Oh yes we got this announced back at AX, and we will get this in English on the next year. That's all for what I can say in regard of July 2022 VNs releases.
  6. Tsubasa - It's aired in Indonesia back in 2003, and it become quite memetic thanks to 2002 version where adult Tsubasa has his elementary school flashback within the match. While granted some works did use the same storytelling, it's obviously won't stop people to think that Tsubasa would like to have flashback every time he bring the ball. That aside, as you can see it's obviously soccer anime and this one is really started from the elementary school which involving Tsubasa keep competing in soccer tournament all the way until he join Barcelona, and if I may say something turned out that Japanese elementary soccer tournament is far more exciting than real life World Cup. Tsubasa here has quite an influence in that some of Japanese soccer player said that they was inspired by Tsubasa manga here. Lastly as for the art, well let's just say that the artist obviously has his own preferred art style so much that he can only draw that particular style. Creamy Mami - Other than Sailor Moon, this anime is starting Pierrot Magical Girl series (Not as extensive as World Masterpiece Theater and Precure though). I did remember that I watch it with my sister and she like to copy Yuu's transformation phase (My sister is 6 when it's aired in Indonesia back in 2002), and one of the episode did show the result of what happen when someone see the heroine getting transformed. While Creamy Mami here is mostly about Yuu (As Creamy Mami) navigated throughout idol industry with her rival, handsome (And dense) producer, and funny manager, sometimes Yuu also need to deal with supernatural happening by using her magic. That's all for what I can say in regard of 1983 anime.
  7. Foreword - I knew Digimon Survive here is on VNTS 4chan list, although after I see the playthrough it looks more like Phoenix Wright instead of regular VNs or rather it's more like usual adventure games so my stance is that I'll just treat it as games, moreso if we see the dialogues is concise enough compared to usual VNs and would be fitting as games albeit with heavier number of text. That said while my stance here is to treat it as games, I definitely can't agree with the action of review bombing on Metacritic just because it looks like usual VNs. While I can see that it's Bandai's fault to not put more emphasize of adventure/VNs gameplay in the trailer video, the fact that Steam did list it as 'Visual Novel' should be enough to gauge what kind of Digimon Survive gameplay will be. Anyway that aside, in the end Digimon Survive here should be a good game on it's own despite some of the flaws, whether you think of it as either usual games or VN. Welcome to this week VNTS Review and once again sorry for being late here. As for this week, while Mangagamer two Otakon announcements here are something that we can say as full of passion because both of those are nukige, the biggest news for this week here is definitely Amatsutsumi release. Of course there's also Ninetails who just do the Kickstarter for Venus Blood Gaia and manage to gather the required fund in less than 24 hours, and obviously some updates from fan translation. Overall I can say that this week is more or less an exciting one to a degree, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. Because of some unmentioned circumstances, Shiravune delayed Monochrome Mobius release to October 20th later. We also have some surprise from them, in which they somehow manage to have Great Deceiver on Steam and perhaps it might be because there's no school setting in there which as we know usually perceived as the reason for the ban of the VNs by Valve. Idea Factory also announced the exact release date for Amnesia fandisc, and said date will be on October 20th later as well. Just in case you need more short nukige from Cherry Kiss, you can look forward to their newest nukige release, Yandere Goddess: A Snatch Made in Heaven, in which they'll release it on 12th later so you can note the date if you want to have a nukige with yandere goddess as the heroine. If you want to read Taisho Alice fandisc, you can get it now because it has been released on 27th. From what I can see, the premise is more or less the usual fandisc with the after stories for each of the heroes along with two additional routes for the side characters. Have fun if you already get it, and it's good to see that the fandisc of it is also translated as well in which it's looks impossible to see it happen in the past, especially with bad translation shenanigan happened back in 2017. Like I say beforehand, Ninetails do the KS for Venus Blood Gaia with the goal is at 13.2 million yen and the deadline is on 31st later, and they manage to fulfill it in less than 24 hours (It definitely help that so far Ninetails here is one of competent company when it come to KS). They did estimate that they'll release GAIA in June 2023 later, although whether it'll be sooner or later we'll see. By the way they also released the trial as well, so you can play it to see on how GAIA gameplay will be. For Mangagamer's Otakon announcements, once again all of those are nukige. While I can say that we may have good story on Funbag Fantasy 4 and I like the sexy exorcist uniform design in Nightmare x Sisters (The first part of Nightmare trilogy), I would like to see Mangagamer announce non-nukige on Otakon (At least the visual of both are quite nice, despite the usual big breasts in Funbag 4). For the premise of those two announcements, in Funbag 4 we have the kingdom setting with the king (The MC) tried to become the monk because he's tired of battle leaving his wife and concubines alone, while in Nightmare x Sisters we have the female MC Setsuna who work as the exorcist suddenly had her senior/sister disappear so Setsuna decided to enlist her male childhood friend help because he's the stand in for the male MC for the search, and from there Setsuna will find herself get introduced to endless hell of debauchery which will involve a lot of rape. Other than the obvious Amatsutsumi releases, this time we also have Sekai give us several updates with two of Seiiki series VNs, Kanojo and Imouto, currently waiting for the build which mean we may need to wait for a while before finally see those two VNs released. Speaking of Seiiki series, we also have Gakkou no Seiiki update as well with said update is that currently it's at 10% edited. Other than that, we have Sekai suddenly give the update to Miko no Kanata (I'm seriously forgot when the last time Sekai gave the update on this, but at least I know that it's the nukige involving shrine maiden/miko) and said update is in regard of the exact release date which is on Friday (5th) later. For the rest of the updates, we have Nie no Hakoniwa was at 30% translated, Sheol was at 10% translated, Akaneiro was at 15% translated, Chiisana Kanojo was at 5% edited, and Our Marriage 1 was at a quarter in QA. Before going to Amatsutsumi release, I'll do the roundup for fan translation updates. For fan translation, we have Senmomo was at 66.64% edited with Chapter 5 past a quarter (26.56%) edited, Fuyu Kiss was at 60% translated, Harugi was at 63% edited, Houkago Cinderella was at 51.76% translated, Imaimo was fully edited with the translator started the pre-QC process which including translating the UI and recompiling the text into the ending before moving on to the actual QC, Eustia was at 97.41% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 86.21% in programming, and 24 out of 37 script files for Yuzuki's route of Ginharu along with half of her sex scenes (5 out of 10) were translated. Lastly we also have Gore Screaming Show/GSS translation team decided to suspend the project because JAST did license it, although they did release the translation patch that translate the VN up to Kiika's route so you can get the patch in case you want to play GSS immediately. Last but not the least we have Amatsutsumi release, and if we following the news in regard of it surely we know that it has some problem with the Steam with Valve did reject both English and Chinese build. As for the reason why, while we can speculate some of it in the end only Valve can say the exact reason for banning Amatsutsumi. Anyway seeing that Sekai may need to release this in hurry, there's still some issue left with the most notable one is the soundtrack title is untranslated (Which is too bad seeing that I'm the one who suggest that Amayui should add translated soundtrack title). For the premise itself it's about our MC Makoto who is from a backwater village came into the slightly busier village and he collapse on the road, and from there he met Kokoro who decided to take care of him. Seeing that he has no house, he decided to use his power of word ability in order to make Kokoro think that Makoto is her older brother. Go get Amatsutsumi if you've been waiting for it, and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week. PS - For the title I just combined two of Mangagamer's announcements, Nightmare x Sisters and Funbag Fantasy 4, so we have 'Nightmare x Brother' as the title. While 'Nightmare' here is should be obvious, the word 'Brother' is from the subtitle of Funbag Fantasy 4 'Brother Astor' with the Astor himself is the aforementioned king MC. It should be noted that actually there's Brother title in Christian, although it's been overshadowed by Sister.
  8. Today we have 24 out of 37 script files for Yuzuki's route were translated, and along with it we also have halfway of her sex scenes (5 out of 10) were translated. Good to see that the translator was finally halfway done with the sex scenes, and that's all for the update here.
  9. 1982 here has two anime that happen to be broadcasted in Indonesia (Minki Momo and Macross), so let me try to comment on those two. Minky Momo - This anime was quite memorable for the reason outside the story, and said reason is definitely not in regard of Momo turned into naked adult female when transformed. But instead it talked about on how a pissed up director can make the story turned dark, and it happen because of the toy company sponsor stop the funding around episode 42 resulting in the two-parter wham episodes. Those episodes are episode 45 and 46, in that we have the pendant for Momo's transformation can be destroyed by a real gun which is wham enough and then Momo was death because of the truck did hit him in the next episode. If anything else, at least it boost the toy sales and the director can extend the series for another 17 episodes. Other than those two wham episodes, obviously this is more or less episodic anime with each episodes had Momo turned into each jobs that was necessary to resolve the problem of the week. Macross - Unlike some of the other anime, the opening song of this is not dubbed into Indonesia. Anyway while some may be more interested with on how the army can dish out a lot of missile so much there's a trope called Macross Missile Massacre, I'm more interested to comment on how this anime set up the trend on how the singer can combined well with military (Especially in space) with the singer tasked as the support unit who supposed to give the combatant support (The same concept here is also in the subsequent Macross, Yumina VN, and more recently Luminous Witch), and it should be noted that music can be as powerful as missiles in the series. Other than the music, Macross here also has love triangle with the MC usually also has one with the idol, in which case it's with Lynn Minmay for the original series. That's all for my comment in regard of those two 1982 anime.
  10. I did try some research on the place where you can purchase Japanese version of it, only to find out that almost all of the store are list it as out of stock. Note that other than it has no official English version of it (So no Steam version for obvious reason), there's also no download version of Gadget Trial here seeing that it's 2006 game (Kogado just start to add download version in 2010 for some of their more popular VN, and one of such is Symphonic Rain in which it's just got the download version of it in 2017). So yeah the only way to play it is only through some other mean (ie the trope of Keep Circulating the Tapes), and you can just Google it by yourself in case you still searching Gadget Trial.
  11. There's a little problem with that solution in regard of Amatsutsumi though, namely that Valve did reject it twice so Sekai has no other choice except to publish it on their own store.
  12. Well it's been a while since I make a tier list for AX, so let me try here seeing that Otakon is almost close (Again, and I suppose they decided to held it in July's end instead of August's beginning from now on). Also note that I didn't add Shiravune's announcements here because they announced it before AX, and that I'll not list Watasi-tachi no Marrigae 1 for the same reason that I did find out about it before the AX happened. Very Good Hamidashi Creative Tokyo Necro Those two above are the VNs that were quite well received even before announced to have localization, so obviously I look forward to those two VNs to be localized (In fact I sort of hope that Madosoft will ask either Nekonyan or Shiravune to localized Hamidashi only to have Sekai still work on it). Anyway for now I just hope that we can see the progress on Hamidashi soon or later. Tokyo Necro here need no much introduction other than it's Nitroplus take on zombie apocalypse, and I like the graphic in there. I don't know if JAST will be able to release it on this year or not, so let's see if they can really do it later. Good Tokyo Hero Project Raspberry Cube Gears of Dragoon 2 Gore Screaming Show Anonymous Code Actually I also look forward to Raspberry Cube as well, although seeing the reception is less compared to Hamidashi I decided to put it here. Tokyo Hero Project here has nice VAs, although the story here is not as good as Onigokko from what I see (I may be wrong on this though). Gears of Dragoon 2 here looks interesting, although apparently it's not as good as Venus Blood from what I hear (At least I can say that I look forward into it as well). I did think that GSS has a number of disturbing scene from the name alone, and after I see some info on it along with seeing on how Metawo's art still hold up even after 16 years I can say that it's nice to see it announced (I still have doubt on this though after seeing a certain tag on VNDB). For Anonymous Code, well at least the premise is quite nice despite Mages still like to milk Steins Gate by saying that Anonymous Code also took the same universe as Steins Gate (It's interesting to know though that Anonymous Code did through six times of rewrites). Average Parfait Rance 03 NEKO Works announcements (Nie no Hakoniwa, Inupara, Nekopara 5) I know that I should look forward to Parfait seeing that it's one of well received VN in the past, although knowing that it's developed by GIGA which mean it's possible that GIGA will ask Sekai to cut the sex scenes like what they did with Baldr Sky and there's also PS2 backport edition that has two additional heroines, safe to say that the fans who restore Baldr Sky sex scenes may think that adding the sex scenes in Parfait is not quite worthwhile. We already have some VNs with cafe setting translated anyway and two of the writer's work (WA2 and Damekoi) are already translated, so I suppose I can pass Parfait for now. While 03 story here can be said as redundant, at least the story is good enough and 03 here is the only Rance that has voice, so at least it's quite worthwhile to license. Lastly no much to say in regard of NEKO Works other than it should have good art thanks to Sayori, and yes I call Nekopara After as Nekopara 5 because of the full title (Neko Para After: La Vraie Famille) has 'V' and as we know V is the Roman number of 5. Take Your Time (ie Below Average) Aksys announcements (Shuuen no Virche, Norn fandisc, Radiant Tale, Death Mark 2) In'youchuu Lkyt Happy Saint Sheol In the past I call the tier as 'Take Your Time JAST' thanks to their infamy of being slow, although now that they change the management and that they manage to have monthly release I suppose I shouldn't add JAST in the tier title anymore. Speaking of JAST, there's one of the announcement from them in this tier (In'youchuu) because I felt that the scene might be a bit disturbing, although I know that some may like it. Also while like I say beforehand I didn't pay much attention to otome VN, actually I like Radiant Tale female MC design (For the info all of otome VNs are only for Switch so no PC version for the fans who only own PC/laptop). Death Mark 2 might be nice title in case you like some mystery, although I didn't know much of it so I'll pass (By the way I'm leaned toward neutral in regard of it). For Lykt, well let's just say that some BL fans who like Attack on Titan may interested with the title. No much comment on Sheol other than it has some disturbing sex scenes along with no much info on this, so I'll obviously pass on it. That's all for my tier on AX announcements, and I understand some of you may not agree what I write above here because everyone have their own taste.
  13. Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for the title I'll tell it at PS later. Anyway as for this week, well let's just say that it's still the same as the last week to me although some may think otherwise because we finally have Total Eclipse (One of Muv Luv spin off for the reminder) finally released after several years age working on the English version of it. Other than Total Eclipse, well there's three nukige releases with one of those from Cherry Kiss. Lastly there's also several updates from Mangagamer and fan translation, which ironically has some interesting one compared to the releases. Overall I suppose I can say this week here is just an average one to me, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. JAST did release the new Mamono Musume, and I have no much to say that at least you can get it if you have some interest to cyclops along with spider girl and harpy (If anything else at least I should be happy that JAST finally can have their monthly releases compared to what we see in the past). Cherry Kiss did release Aristocunts 2, and once again for the info it's not really the sequel of Aristocunts but rather it's the result of the translator's creativity. Go get that if you want to see on how the MC did manage to come into otome game and managed to working together with the stereotypical shoujo manga otome VN villainess and then try to get closer with stereotypical shoujo manga otome VN MC in order to have a lot of sex, and have fun. Lastly Fakku did release Iku Iku Succubus on July 19th, and no much to say other Fakku did manage to release it on time (In this year summer). As for Muv Luv Total Eclipse, like I say it's one of Muv Luv spin off that get the anime first before finally age decided to make a VN out of it. Or rather actually it's been planned since 2007 with age add the trial of it in Altered Fable before developing it for several years and finally manage to release it in 2013, with the anime itself already aired beforehand in 2012. What I can say is that it should be good addition if you want more Muv Luv and want to see more contents if you already watch the anime beforehand, and well at least the graphic is nice to see. We also have Nekonyan announced that they already have the exact release date for Makeover FD, and said date will be on August 26th later (The tweet for the source) so you can note the date if you want to see more Makeover in the FD. Mangagamer just give us their regular updates today, and as one of the updates in in regard of Sona-Nyl with it's Refrain contents was 92% integrated into the main script. We also have the update for both of Raillore and Hentai Public Service in which both are having script insertion progress ongoing, Lykt was fully translated and edited along with having script insertion progress ongoing, and last but not the least we finally have Rance IX in testing which obviously mean that the release of it is almost close. Speaking of almost close to the release, we have Taishou Alice fandisc will be released on tomorrow (ie 27th) so you can note the date if you want to see more Taisho Alice. Lastly Mangagamer did say that they'll have some announcements on this Saturday Otakon, so I'll see what they'll announce later. From fan translation we have 130 out of 138 script files of Nagomibako were edited, Senmomo was at 64.97% edited with Chapter 5 was at 12.33% edited, Chronos was at 10% edited, Shin Koihime Musou was at 58% edited, Houkago Cinderella was past halfway (50.88%) translated, Chicchakunai Mon was at 16.87% edited, Eustia was at 97.39% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 86.13% in programming, and 21 out of 37 script files for Yuzuki's route of Ginharu along with her 3 out of 10 sex scenes were translated. Lastly we also have Hokejo new translation project that was established by one of Snow translator (The tweet in regard of it), and unlike the past project this one already has much more progress with the current progress was at 80% edited. Oh yes the translator also planned to add the language toggle button in the patch later, so when the translation patch released later you can read Hokejo in either English or Japanese language. Almost forgot to note here that we also have usual update on Imaimo, and currently it's been past three quarter (77.6%) edited with Kimika's route was fully edited along with the translator currently working on Ayumu's route that was at 16.4% edited. Also since the editing is almost finished, the translator said that he'll release the translation patch of this on September after the remaining work (QC along with tweak, adjustment, and testing) are all done so you can look forward to it if you want to play more sprite VN there. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week and sorry for being late here. See you next week. PS - For the title, since we have Aristocunts 2 release that was obviously make parody of the usual reincarnated as villainess in otome game (Even though from what I see it's more like the author of those works are using the villainess from shoujo manga stereotype as the reference for the so-called villainess) and also we finally have Muv Luv Total Eclipse released, I decided to make parody of Mobseka full English title, The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs, so that we have 'The World of Muv Luv is Tough for Mobs' as the title which is quite fitting seeing that the in-universe otome game developer thought that the girl like to play otome game that has robot fighting (For the reminder Muv Luv franchise has a number of robot fighting), and as strange at it sounds turned out that there's a VN like that called Yuukyuu no Tierblade with said VN was developed by Idea Factory.
  14. Here's yet another update from the translator, and right now we have 21 out of 37 script file for Yuzuki's route were translated. We also have one of the staffs said they have planned to have Yuzuki's route fully translated by September. Well let's see if they can fulfill the promise later on (Good luck to the translator in regard of it), and that's all for the update here.
  15. Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. No much to say here other than good luck to your project and I hope that you'll have fun in here.
  16. Urusei Yatsura here is the first Takahashi Rumiko manga, and the writer herself would produce some of well known work such as Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha. She has a favorite trope to use in all of her work, and said trope is called Belligerent Sexual Tension (Formerly called Takahashi couple because the tendency of her using that kind of trope). Anyway it's quite obvious that she's still writing until today with her newest manga is Mao and from what I see she's approved the creation of Yashahime in which it's the sequel of her Inuyasha manga, although she didn't work on it though. Anyway I did some search on Urusei Yatsura and find out that initially Takahashi want to make the childhood friend as the couple, only to be forced to have Lum as the main love interest because she's quite popular (Well probably because of the design), and Lum here is definitely very popular so much that Conan's writer (Aoyama Gosho) did make some homage of her alongside Gundam. Dr. Slump here is Toriyama Akira first successful work, although of course nowadays people know him as Dragon Ball writer with the newest anime is Dragon Ball Super with Goku learn how to do Ultra Instinct is very famous so much that an user make a thread about it in here. Anyway other than obviously it won't have the characters going Super Saiya and fighting in the other planet, Dr. Slump here is more in line with older Dragon Ball where the super strong character (Or in this case the little girl android) is quite naive. Oh yes Toei did make the remake of the anime in 1997, and the 1997 anime here is aired in Indonesia for some times. Other than the two works that are notably the first successful works for the well known mangaka, no much to say in regard of 1981 anime so that all for my comment on that year.
  17. Well it's not really absolutely necessary though because some of the VNs that didn't use the anime art like Fata Morgana or Shibuya Scramble did quite well received. For Fata Morgana, I admit that initially I didn't think that Fata Morgana graphic is quite good because it's more looks like OELVN instead of Japanese VNs, until I remember that it did resemble Castlevania Symphony of the Night art to a degree and after that I managed to find that it's indeed a good VN (It also help that some of the casts for the sound drama are well known VA with some of them reprise the role in PS4 version, although too bad that Novectale here only add the voices in the bonus story). In the end, from what I see in the posts above is that people are already getting used to anime style in VNs so that obviously the developer chose to use anime style in the VNs, although of course if someone want to make a VN they can use the other style besides anime if s/he prefer to not use anime style.
  18. By old art I didn't mean that it's really bad (It's just that some people may prefer newer graphic), and as for Sumino's mother actually it's more like the proportion of her body that didn't quite balanced. As for what it is, it's easy to figure but some things are better left unsaid (For the info I did see a blogpost did mention about it, and now I can't unseen it). Anyway as long as you can enjoy Snow graphic it's fine. PS - Actually I also like some of the character design here, such as Sumino (Yeah I know it's quite ironic) and Asahi here.
  19. Time for another updates, and this time we have 18 out of 37 script files for Yuzuki's route has been translated. Other than that, we also have one more sex scenes finished and with that now we have 3 out of 10 sex scenes for Yuzuki's route has been finished. That's all for the updates here.
  20. And now it's been released on Steam, so you can get it on the Steam store here if you already looking forward to the release for some times in the past.
  21. Because we have Golden Time (Kirikoi fandisc) released, I figure I should make a call back from my past VNTS Review when Kirikoi main VN was released in English by changing 'Maid' into 'Virgin', and the reason for the virgin word here is because the writer of Kirikoi here did write Tsujidou with said VN has a fandisc with the subtitle Virgin Road (Yeah I know that the word virgin here is quite ironic for the fandiscs which consist the after stories for each of heroines). As for this week, Golden Time release aside obviously this is a breather one although it didn't mean that it hasn't some other updates because we still have some notable updates from fan translation along with Sekai Project. Well overall this week is just slightly above average to a degree, and let's just see what I can write in regard of it. The notable updates from Sekai here aren't from Animal Trail (Finished QA progress and currently waiting or the approval), the little sister succubus nukige (Currently in QA), or ReLord 3 (Also currently in QA). But instead it's the confirmation that most of Sekai announcements from AX (Nekopara 5, Hamidashi, Raspberry Cube, Sheol, Nie no Hakoniwa) have 18+ contents, although their way to confirm is quite roundabout by writing those title in Denpasoft article on AX 2022 announcements (Maybe Sekai need to be careful in AX when it come to announce 18+ contents). It's quite obvious that the article didn't write about Parfait, because unlike Baldr Sky this time GIGA has the reason to not translate 18+ version of it and said reason is because GIGA did release PS2 version that has two new heroines, so it's possible that GIGA will ask Sekai to release the backport version of PS2 of it. Well at least we got the confirmation that both new Madosoft VNs will have the sex scenes translated. We have Tsukihime Remake translation team released the patch that translate Arcueid's route, and no much to say in regard of it other than you can now play translated Arcueid's route in modern graphic (Which also add some new contents in the remake, and admittedly the new graphic itself is quite good) if you have Switch. We also has some big updates in Ciel's route now that we have Arcueid's route patch released, and said update is that they manage to translate Day 12 through Day 15 of Ciel's route. For the other fan translation updates, we have Chronos was at 5% edited, Houkago Cinderella was at 49.74% translated, Imaimo was at 46.5% edited with Matsuri's route was fully edited along with Kimika's route was at 48.7% edited, and 15 out of 37 script files of Yuzuki's route of Ginharu were translated. As for Golden Time, it should be obvious that it resemble Tsujidou Virgin Road if we look at the writer alone (Both Kirikoi and Tsujidou are written by the same writer for the reminder). While some may understandably misunderstood that this is the first time that Saga Planet released the FD, actually this is the second time they release the FD because turned out that they also release a fandisc way back in 2001. Also it seems that other than to satisfy the fans who have some concern about a certain ending, I think Saga Planet here made Golden Time because they want to test the new engine after they separated from Visual Art's seeing that they won't be able to use Siglus anymore (Siglus license is under Visual Art's license). For Golden Time itself, other than the after stories we also have the new routes for two of side characters in Kirikoi (Mina and Ayaka) along with the alternative ending of a certain route. Well go get Golden Time if you want to see more Kirikoi, and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week. PS - I forgot to mention that we'll have the KS for Venus Blood Gaia was planned to be held on between late July to to early August (The tweet in regard of it), although the reason on why I mention it is not because the little delay. Instead the reason here is because Ninetails decided to recast one of the VA to voicing a character, Titie, that was previously voiced by Fujimori Yukina, and the result is that Titie new VA here will be Yahiro Mami (Or if you prefer her new alias Azuma Shizu). My concern is that Ninetail here will probably write some new scenes with Titie here, because there's no reason to do the recast if Ninetails just keep localized Gaia as it is, especially when Shiravune can still localized Primal Hearts with the original voice that has one of the heroines voiced by Fujimori Yukina.
  22. Sorry for the double post here, and seeing that we got Rune Factory 5 on PC I decided to try it. I did hear that it has some problem on Switch mainly in regard of the slowdown, and after seeing that it manage to run on my laptop smoothly I can say that at least it's good to see that the PC version did fix slowdown issue. Too bad though that the movement button can't be customized here, so I need to get use to the new button here (For the info the movement key was binded to WASD while usually I use directional button for the movement). Another thing to note is that Rune Factory 5 here offer the same sex marriage, so the gender of player character shouldn't matter anymore in regard of choosing your life partner (Naturally it mean that I can chose female character without the need to marry the groom candidates, and of course any BL or GL fans will naturally like that option). Other than the marriage, well the gameplay itself is not much changing actually (Farming and battling the monster) and that I need to get used to the male singing the opening (It's more hot blooded instead of calming like Rune Factory 2 opening). Other than Rune Factory 5, I also interested with Digimon Survive that will be released on Steam later (And yes I count it as video games even though it has VNDB entry) although I'm kind of wonder if my laptop can handle it well.
  23. I see that we finally have another retro VN translated. It also should be noted that while the VN is following the story from KEY VNs at that time (Kanon and Air), the company here is the predecessor of Yuzusoft with both of the artist and the composer is the main staff for Yuzusoft VNs. The company itself also has some nukige VNs in the past, although then again it's nothing special seeing that our Jun Maeda was also involved in Moon (Which has some twisted contents) before forming KEY. As for the opening, well it's quite long indeed although at least I can say it's quite nice to hear (Whether it's better to Kanon OP or not is another matter). Anyway as long as you can get past the old art (Especially Sumino's mother one which to say is not good looking), I think it should be nice VN to read. PS - Forgot to say this beforehand, so I'll say congratulation to the team in regard of the release of Snow full translation patch here.
  24. Well I guess not many people talk about this is because nowadays there's many translated VNs that has same premise like Akagoei with the closest one is Grisaia, and more importantly it's still the first part (Out of trilogy) only that was translated. If anything else at least it's nice to see well received VN here got translated thanks to the translator here.
  25. Well in case you're still searching for it, there's quite a number of translated VNs that were created from before 2005. For the starter, I'll recommend all of the VNs in my thread that talk about the VNs that were officially localized in 2000's because all of the VNs are created before mid 2000 (Although Princess Waltz here is created in 2006 though). Other than that, I can recommend the title such as Snow, Yume Miru Kusuri, Cross Channel, Never7, Demonbane, and Aselia. I hope that my recommendations here can be helpful to you.
