Welcome to Fuwanovel. Quite a straightforward introduction here, so I'll just say I have no much to say other than I hope you'll have fun in here and feel free to ask for VN recommendations if you need any.

Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have a certain magical girl nukige along with Hentai Prison announced by Shiravune, I decided to make a magical girl anime from this season (Autumn 2024), Acro Trip, with I changed 'Trip' into 'Prison', so we have 'Acro Prison' as the title. As for this week, well if not for Shiravune being active it would be a plain week seeing there's no much to talk at this week. As for the announcement, while Hentai Prison is admittedly big announcement looking from how well received it is, it didn't really surprising seeing Shiravune accidentally leaked it one week before the formal announcement. Other than Shiravune being active, we also see Mangagamer finally announce the exact release date for one of their VN, and we have Mages announce the remaster for both Never7 and Ever17 with both will be available in English. Overall, this week is another below average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. The aforementioned magical girl nukige that Shiravune announced was ExS-Tia in which it's the series of magical girl nukige, although Shiravune announced the new one, ExS-Tia Concerto 1, instead of the older one, which make sense if we see it took Palette remake Mashiro Iro to have Shiravune localized it. It also should be noted that Concerto is the new series of ExS-Tia, so there's no need to play the older version before starting it. For the premise, it's about Haruno who is an ordinary girl was suddenly encounter a monster and then got a mysterious device that allow her to transform into magical girl, and turned out the people in the city can be possessed by a Guilt Seed with the possessed person turned into the monster. After fighting the monster, Haruno was asked to search for Guilt Seed, and so she tried her best to do so. Note that while I mentioned this as magical girl nukige, actually you can avoid all of the sex scenes with Haruno's virginity remain intact until the ending. Since this is the first part of the tetralogy, I hope Shiravune will announce the rest of Concerto VNs. No release date mentioned for this, although we'll most likely see the release in the next year. Mangagamer finally announced the exact release date for one of their VN, although unfortunately said release is not either Raillore or Ixseal, but instead it's Sex Open World with it will be released on December 19th later. Well admittedly it has good graphic which is a requirement for a nukige, although I'm not sure whether I should feel excited or not. Regardless, feel free to note the date if you're interested with it. We also have LingerieS developer announce the new release time, and they'll try to release it by the next month, December, so let's see if we can see the release next month. We also have the translator finally finished Taima Seiko Alice translation, with the translator need to take care the remaining works for both editing and proofreading before finally release it. Mages announce the remaster for both Never7 and Ever17, although somehow they skipped over Remember11 for some reasons. My first reaction of the announcements is redundant seeing both already have translation, with Never7 was translated by Lemnisca when they still fan group and Ever17 was translated by Hirameki in 2005. That said, seeing some comments on how rough Hirameki translation is along with Mages will use XBOX360 version which has new script that has some changed for better or worse, perhaps Ever17 here won't be so redundant after all, and if anything else they planned to use the sprites from the original PC version instead of the jarring XBOX360 version. Since Ever17 premise is widely known, I'll just write a bit about Never7 in which it would be better to expect this as Memories Off series with dramatic sci-fi twist at the end instead of full sci-fi story. Oh yes, Mages already have the exact release date for the remaster, with it will be released on March 6th of the next year. Last but not the least, we have Shiravune announced they manage to get Hentai Prison license, which honestly speaking it's not surprising seeing they leaked the announcement a week beforehand, and even then it's not really surprising seeing Nukitashi sales on Steam show some big number so it's pretty obvious Qruppo will ask Shiravune to localize their Hentai Prison with it currently far more well received compared to Nukitashi duology with it already have good receptions. Still, it's nice of Qruppo to have all their VNs are available in English after they're almost failed to do so with Sol Press going out of business back when they still have Nukitashi's license. Anyway, for the premise we have the MC Shuuichiro who believe the best way of expressing the art is by being naked in the public, although unfortunately for him most of the people didn't share his opinion so he became the repeat offender before being arrested after assaulting the police. Seeing Shuuichiro didn't show the regret, the judge sentence him 10 years imprisonment in the worst prison, Tulip Prison. As for the exact release date, Shiravune only mention it'll be sometimes in the next year, so let's wait and see for the news later. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

Fighting Games – Uncovering The VN Hybrid
littleshogun commented on Pallas_Raven's blog entry in Towards The End Sky
Well it's not coincidence all of the examples are from Arc System Works, which mean they like to put the narrative in their fighting game whereas the other companies most likely just put very short characters stories and therefore less narrative. I don't really know if it's true or not, because I only glance at Tekken 5 Asuka story with the beginning was shown by using CG. Speaking of it, obviously Atlus can't use Tekken-like story telling to tell the story in Persona fighting game, so obviously they approach visual novel narrative style to tell the story. Honestly speaking I felt skeptical towards the idea of Persona fighting game, although considering back then Atlus was face the bankruptcy so they can't avoid to milk their successful series in order to make more money. All in all, honestly I'm quite suck on fighting games, so I didn't play much of it. That's all for what I can talk about the topic here. -
Here's my belated comment on Getchu 2023 as promised: Unlike Tenshi Re-Boot with it got another ban after Hikari Field tried to submit it again because they got the bad luck have the review copy fallen into the same reviewer, Shiravune has easier time when it come to release Mashiro Iro. While Palette finally allow the English version to have Sprite Viewer which is good news, I didn't like on how Palette released Sana Edition separately despite almost no reason to do so (Moreso seeing it has same common route along with Sana's route has some parts of Miu's route, so Palette can just insert Sana's route into the main game). If anything else, at least good to see now we have Mashiro Iro in English after years of waiting, and therefore can enjoy it's good arts courtesy of Izumi Tsubasu. I read some saying that actually Sakura no Uta is already complete on its own, although obviously SCA-JI still want to tell more about Naoya and the friend story, and so he made Sakura no Toki. What I know is the sequel telling the story of the characters after Sakura no Uta or something like that, and it'll took a while to see it translated seeing even the prequel translation will most likely took a while because of real life business with it currently been at around one third translated. Seeing Shiravune released Amanatsu and Nekonyan announced Futamata, if anyone want to have Amakano 2+ and Koibana available in English it'll be up to Shiravune and Nekonyan respectively. Amakano 2+ is the lengthy fandisc of Amakano 2 with the new heroine added, and if I may give some comparison it would be like Galaxy Angel with 2+ equivalent would be Moonlit Lover with Broccoli add Chitose in there. For Koibana, once again ASa Project tried to experiment a bit by adding three side couples, and whether it's good addition or not is up to each of their own (What I know is that one VNDB user didn't like on how it put less focus on the MC and the four main heroines so much he spammed Koibana-related VNDB threads). Hapymaher Regret End is apparently the last time Purple Software using their own CMVS engine before moving on to Kirikiri, and I say this because their two VNs after this (And Criminal Border) using Kirikiri engine instead. Also the new story, Regret End, was notably all age with the arts were redrawn by Purple Software's main artist. From what I see, perhaps Purple Software wanted their game to be localized, although with them working with four publishers and Nekonyan revealed their problem with Purple Software (Nekonyan was asked to sped up the release after they find the difficulties on porting Aoi Tori engine), obviously it will be quite hard to publishers to work with them, and so hoping Mangagamer to localize Regret End is obviously out of question. Speaking of Mangagamer, I'd hear one of their companies, Circus, want to remake Da Capo and expressing their wish to adding their VNs into Steam. Whether there'll be English language or not is remain to see, but it would be nice if Circus adding Da Capo into Steam would eventually led them to localize both Da Capo 4 and 5, whether they'll ask Mangagamer help or not. Speaking of Da Capo, one of Discord user mention that 4 and 5 are more like the duology on its own, so there's no exact need to play first three Da Capo before playing 4 and 5. For Da Capo 5 itself, well it's like all of Da Capo VNs with it a charage that eventually led into one true route. That's all for my belated comment on Getchu Award 2023.

Cross Channel Translation: Need Editor, Hacker, Second Translator(?)
littleshogun replied to ribbiwawa's topic in Recruitment
Well I think any translation of Cross Channel after Amaterasu one are redundant, especially the one from Pulltop. Although the reader did find the translation are quite bad, and even Ixrec himself admit he would try to re-translate it back when he was still active. For the topic, well no much I can say other than good luck on the project. -
Personally speaking I would prefer if you're not using MTL at all, although I understand if you use that just to save the time (Not that I can called out anyone who use it anyway seeing I was involved in Amayui patch). Anyway, if I may suggest something, you can use Jisho to check whichever kanji that you've stumbled with, and as for the sex scenes let's just say most of the lines would be moans which should be easy to translate lol. Well, good luck on the project, and I hope you'll manage to finish it unlike the previous one.

As it happen I did update my OS to Windows 11 because Microsoft was quite desperate so much they game ultimatum they'll stop the support for Windows 10 in 2025. Anyway, as it turned out I didn't have much issue when it come to running the VNs in Windows 11, although I didn't test that on the older VN yet. That said, I have problem running Kiminozo Enhanced Edition in which I can't run the game at all, and as it turned out several users on Steam complaining on how they face the same problem with it happen because Anchor's poor porting job. Oh well, I guess no much I can do about that, and by the way I tried to run it in Compatibility Mode only to be refused to run as well.

Well there's no really to do the 'ritual' really, but may as well do it anyway. That aside, welcome to Fuwanovel and I hope you'll have fun in here.

Atelier Ruka: The Alchemist of Mysterious Heaven Review
littleshogun posted a blog entry in Pretty Cure on Fuwanovel
As for this week VNTS Review, because we have Heaven Burns Red released with the main artist is Yuugen who is one of the artist of Atelier Mysterious tetralogy, I made title as 'Atelier Ruka" The Alchemist of Mysterious Heaven' with Ruka as the MC of Heaven Burns Red (And female) and Heaven is from the title (Duh). As for this week, while we didn't have the release with the bad translation like when we have Select Oblige (I seriously hope Hikari Field will improve their translation if they want to do more in the future), I can't say this week is interesting seeing we only have Cherry Kiss nukige with admittedly interesting premise. Granted there's aforementioned Heaven Burns Red release, although it was gacha game which mean the game is still ongoing and I generally avoid it. Still, may as well talk about it later. Overall, this week is below average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. In Heaven Burns Red, we have the world was overrun by hostile creature called Cancer (Which to say is quite on the nose) that can't be harmed by conventional weapon leaving half of the Earth was razed. Overtime, the humanity developed a weapon that can damage the hostile creature called Seraphim with said weapon can only be fully mastered by the human who lack Y chromosome (Female), which is why all of the Seraph wielder are all girl. One of such girl, Ruka is the one who like to throw herself to fight Cancer. While the gameplay is like usual gacha game with you'll pulled a ticket in order to get the new girl, apparently the story is noted to be quite good courtesy of Jun Maeda. Well if anything else, at least it's good that KEY didn't just make their own franchise into gacha game like Type Moon and Frontwing did even though they still add Angel Beats characters (For now), and feel free to get Heaven Burns Red if you're interested with it. We have Cherry Kiss nukge released with the English title Magical Gyarus Milk Me for Mana, and it show the premise of the game enough. Or if you want some description, in here we have the MC house was somehow become the hang out place for three big breasted gyaru who like to talk some stuff from the anime such as 'power spot' or 'magical energy'. One day, the MC was run an errand for the trio before he was attacked by a monster, and then the trio of magical girl come to fighting it. Long story short, the MC was somehow manage to help the magical girl won the battle, and in the next day the trio gyaru revealed they're the magical girl trio with the MC have the power to powered up the magical girl through sex (Of course). Go get the nukige if you interested with it, and have fun. This week we have Sakura no Uta is at 33% translated, with Abend is at 88% translated, both Olympia (Rin's route) and Pica Pica (Makoto's route) are at 2% translated, and A Nice Derangement of Epitaphs (Shizuku's route) is at 33% translated. For the rest of fan translation updates, we have Chaos Head Love Chu Chu was fully translated, Majikoi A Plus Disk is at 20.62% translated, Taima Seko Alice is almost fully translated at 95% translated, and Sousaku Kanojo is at 21% edited. That's all for this week fan translation updates. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week. -
Anime of the Year 2023-II Spring - Tengoku Daimakyou
littleshogun commented on kivandopulus's blog entry in Anime of the Season
Oshi no Ko - This anime is definitely the best of Doga Kobo work in which it make them become a very well known studio. For the story, well the premise above has enough for the first half of the full premise, and for the rest of the premise is we have the doctor reincarnate as the idol's (Ai) son, Aqua, after the doctor was getting killed. Several years later, Ai was getting killed by a stalker, and as Aqua mind is too adult for his own good (Well he has still the memories from his past life as full fledged adult) he decided to avenge his mother by killing his father who he (Rightly) suspect behind Ai's death. Honestly I didn't follow the manga much, especially with I read it immediately after I woke up in the morning just because Ai in the cover, but obviously Ai's death will attract many readers as much as possible. As for whether Aqua manage to getting the revenge, let's just say he manage to get it and he won't have any time to feeling the emptiness after the deed was done. Obviously with this being very successful, it has second season with the third season is upcoming. Just in case you want to read the manga, well you can read it now seeing it's already finished, although whether you'll feel disappointed with the ending like most of the people or not is up to you. Idolmaster U149 - Unlike Oshi no Ko which has deal darker story courtesy of Kaguya-sama writer, Idolmaster here is definitely far more lighter when it came to idol anime, moreso since this time we have children idol with all of them are still in grade school and U149 here mean the heights of the idols are under 149 centimeters. Also the producer here is quite short to reinforce the child-friendly atmosphere of this iteration of Idolmaster, who naturally had hard time to be trusted by the idols before he prove himself to be very serious on his job. By the way I did read the manga of this first, so in a way this is the adaptation of the manga. Iseleve - Well, at least the author didn't hide what he wrote was wish fulfillment with the plot was screaming that (The MC was being fat and bullied before he was slimmed down (And become handsome) while getting superpower and has new ability to be able go back and forth of the another world), so good for the author to share his youthful imagination. Apparently it has bad animation in the fight, although I think it'll be hardly noticeable unless someone obsessively paused it just so they can make the video in order to nitpicking this anime more than already is. While we can say whatever harsh critics which this anime deserves, in the end it prove to be quite successful so much it get the second season. The Hero is Dead - The anime is about Touka who live in a world where the hero dealing with the result from the sudden appearance of Gates of Hell, namely the spawning demon. One day, the hero came to Touka's house only to have one demon slipped up near him. Touka tried to fight the demon using his pitfall, although the hero quickly defeat the hero before he was dead because he was fall into the pitfall. Seeing no choice, the hero's companion who happen to be a necromancer transferred Touka's soul into the hero's body in order for Touka to take the responsibility, and so began Touka's journey to finished the hero's job which he begrudgingly do. While the premise sounds serious, it has many jokes to break the seriousness, and I still remember on how Touka like to see female thighs in stocking. By the way this is another finished manga adaptation like Oshi no Ko, and you can read the manga if you're somehow interested to see the continuation of the anime. Kaginado - It's one of the work from KEY, although it's just four minutes anime so I understand you didn't want to cover it. What I understand from the anime is that while KEY can make several touching scenes they surely won't hesitate to make a parody of those scenes, as shown in the very first episode which inevitable spoil the major twist for all of KEY VNs. Well to be honest I didn't watch it, and I just write about it here just to mention the first episode. That's all for what I can comment in regard of Spring 2023 anime here. -
Hello ! I'm searching for a specific visual novel.
littleshogun replied to Renauuud's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Actually it's Deardrops with the bar owner is the father of the MC's childhood friend and the pink haired girl playing guitar is one of the heroines. I hope my answer will help you. -
Well, let's see what I can do here. Anyway, my recommendations here would be Root Double, Utawarerumono (Pick Shiravune version to avoid the sex scenes, and you can also try the second part and the third part as well), Shibuya Scramble, and Dies Irae (Get Amantes amentes version to avoid the sex scenes). I don't know if you already read those or not, but regardless I hope my recommendations will be helpful to you.

Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and because we have Select Oblige along with Shuuen no Virche fandisc, I decided to make a parody of Select Oblige opening song, Path to Glory, by changing "Glory" into "Recoil" because Shuuen no Virce fandisc full title is Shuuen no Virche -EpiC:lycoris- which remind me of Lycoris Recoil anime, so we have "Path to Recoil" as the title. For this week, the biggest news to me are in regard of Select Oblige release (Despite some shortcoming) and Sousaku Kanojo trial translation patch released, so it's more interesting compared to what we have at the last week. Overall, I can say this week is almost interesting one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it below. I knew Mangagamer have Dead Days released back in October 31st in which I forgot to wrote about it last week, although seeing Shiravune also already have the exact release date for Nemurenu (Another Clockup VN) at December 10th later, I figure that I'll talk about it now. For Dead Days itself, it's about a group of people who supposed to be dead woke up in a strange place with they must play a game if they want to survive. However, the game is not easy seeing they need to hunt the specters in order to eliminate it, and more importantly they need to face their own raging libido (So there will be a lot of sex scenes) along with the feeling of dread for battle and running out borrowed time. So in essence it's more like The World Ends With You, just with a lot of sex and being written by Silverio trilogy writer. Once again it's not my taste, but people may been waiting for this, so feel free to get it if you're the one who waiting for this. Aksys released Shuuen no Virche fandisc with it depict the after stories for the heroes route, and apparently it's quite long with several ending are quite happy compared to the one in the main game. What I can say is that there's no Steam version of it, so you can only play this if you have Switch. Still feel free to get it if you have Switch and want to read more Shuuen no Virche. For fan translation updates, we have Taima Seiko Alice is at 85% translated, and Sousaku Kanojo trial translation patch was released with it only cover two chapters of the full game. That said, it's still quite substantial, seeing the two chapters alone is consist around five hours of gameplay. Feel free to get Sousaku Kanojo trial if you want to see the translation before Shinzou release the full patch at the next year, and have fun. Hikari Field manage to release Select Oblige on time, which is quite nice, although unfortunately it has bad translation, or as some people say unedited translation. While admittedly it's just three months old VN which mean the translator would have at most three months to deliver the translation (Usually the whole translation process would take more than three months), it's too bad the end product to be like that. Still, at least it's quite an improvement compared to when they tried to translate Tayutama 2, which itself is quite questionable decision because they just skip the prequel. Translation issue aside, in Select Oblige we have Nagi who live in a slum receive a ticket to enroll a very prestigious school, and so Nagi being poor person need to deal with the discrimination in the school before coming out of the top. I knew that Select Oblige didn't have good reception like Hamidashi, but seeing Sekai didn't have the best track record on holding its license it's nice to have Select Oblige in English even with its translation issue (Feel free to get it if you want to), and if anything else at least the character designs are quite nice courtesy of Yuzuna Hiyo who was designed several heroines in minori VNs before their bankruptcy. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

Does anyone have the Visual novel translation status link ?
littleshogun replied to SussyBaka's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Well if you want the link to Fuwanovel VNTS then yeah it's been stopping the updates for a while. Anyway if you want alternative, then you can always come into my blog (Pretty Cure on Fuwanovel, and yeah I initially intend the blog to post Precure-related posts) with I reviewing VNTS weekly, and if you prefer list then I also work on that kind of VNTS in another site (I'll give the link in the PM). Of course if you prefer the original, then you can always view it on 4chan where the anon do good job to post it weekly. -
The Aquatope on Starry Sky Review
littleshogun commented on littleshogun's blog entry in Pretty Cure on Fuwanovel
Well, can't really deny that Hikari Field do a bad job when they translated Tayutama 2 trial, although back then I just simply ignore it in favor of waiting for the full game (Which never came up until now). For now, no much we can do other than hoping they'll do the good job on translating Select Oblige. I don't know about Fragments Note, but as for Since Memories let's just say you better approach it with caution seeing even a Memories Off fan in RPGFan saw this as a disappointment, and it bear mention that said fan has reviewed Higurashi very negatively. -
For this week title, because we have Kiminozo released with the story resembled White Album 2 (Or rather Kiminozo story was inspired Maruto to wrote WA2), I decided to make the parody of White Album 2 by using the English version of Jojo's White Album Stand name, White Ice, so we have 'White Ice 2'. Anyway, seeing we have Kiminozo in which it's one of the long awaited VN to be available in English back in October 30th, normally this week should be an interesting one. However, the publisher do so much wrong in all of this, especially in regard of the sex scenes removal, so I can't feel excited about that one. Other than Kiminozo release, we also have Shiravune finally released the rest of their Destiny Star Girlfriend. Overall, this week is an above average one, and let's see what I can write about it. Well it's inevitable that I need to talk about Kiminozo release. From what I see, most complain is in regard of the removal of one route that age (Or rather Anchor as the new license holder for age VNs) add only for Japanese version and removed the two endings. While granted one of the ending is rightfully removed seeing it's from way back when age being very creative with disturbing contents, obviously it still won't feel right with the overseas only got the version that have some contents removed, doubly so when there's no previous translated version beforehand. In the end, well I just try to moved on from it, seeing nowadays there's much more interesting VNs already translated, with one of those is WA2. Censorship aside, in Kiminozo we have Takayuki who befriended Mitsuki because her friend Haruka has crush with Takayuki. One day Haruka decided to confess to Takayuki, and being the nice guy Takayuki accept the confession even considering his growing feeling to Mitsuki. While this looks like WA2, at least Takayuki is waiting until a careless car driver crashes into Haruka resulting her in comma before he making the move to Mitsuki. In the end, I just say it's too bad Kiminozo release is far from ideal for such a well received VN, especially when Todokanai can do much better to WA2. Still, feel free to get Kiminozo if you didn't mind the controversy, and have fun. Other than Kiminozo, we have Galzoo Island full translation patch released with it featuring the MC tried his best to capturing all of the monster girl. What I know is that the developer for this is Alice Soft (So you'll recognize the monster girl design if you've been playing Rance or Evenicle), Aroduc mentioned this would be one of his translation project, and obviously it has some gameplay. Feel free to try Galzoo Island if you want to, and have fun. For the other fan translation updates, we have Taima Seiko Alice is at 80% translated, Akagoei 3 QA work is 26.45% done, and Sousaku Kanojo is at 93% translated along with 19% edited and its assets is 40% worked on. Shinzo Translation will release the trial patch of Sousaku Kanojo with it'll cover one fifth of the game, and no mention on release time other than soon. We also have two companies have the exact date for their releases, with Cherry Kiss will release a magical girl nukige on 15th later, and Aksys will release Shueen no Virche fandisc on Thursday later. Lastly, we finally have Shiravune do the simultaneous release for the remaining two of Destiny Star Girlfriend trilogy, which mean now we have all of the trilogy in English barring the mini fandisc. For the premise, honestly all three VNs have same premise with the main difference is obviously which girl that the MC will date in the story, so essentially each part of the trilogy is like the character route like Nine. Honestly I'm not in favor of this format release, but obviously the companies start to use this because it can save some budget for the game development. For the premise of the whole trilogy, it's about the MC Seiji who involved in the magical girl battle against the space demon with he experiences near death experience before find his girlfriend. While he obviously have good enough luck to survive, the catch is he was forced to connected with the magical girl in order to recover. For the girl, in the second game Seiji has bonded with Maja who is the rival of good magical girl, while in the third girl Seiji has bonded with his underclassman who is a good magical girl and has a big secret. Go get the VNs if you want to finish Destiny Star Girlfriend, and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

HSPC - If Love Live fans want to blame people because they need to wait for two years to see the (Obvious) conclusion of Superstar 2nd season cliffhanger ending, they can blame Toei because the artist who design the character of it was also design the characters in HSPC with Precure itself is yearly series. Love Live fiasco aside, Toei do a bunch of experiments in HSPC, with thankfully no Tuxedo Mask-like character and no narration (With it is another failed experiment in DPPC because the narrator did narrate some obvious facts), but instead they experiments by making blue Precure as the leader and more importantly male Precure (Even with he is a bird). HSPC itself is about Sora who is from another world want to become the hero, and so her first step to achieve that is to rescue the infant princess Elle who was kidnapped by one of the cadre. Turned out the deed is far more complicated than she thought, because Sora now stranded in Earth after following the cadre and she can transform into Precure with she make use of it to fight the villain who out to kidnap the princess. Eminence in the Shadow - I would like to just dismiss it as usual isekai, and from what I read in the interview apparently the author was also got through the eight grade syndrome phase in his middle school, which clearly explain many things like conspiracy and working from the shadow (I don't know though if the author really like to whisper 'I am atomic' in his middle school age). That said even with that middle school imagination, the work was proven to be quite popular so much the anime has more than one cour (20 episodes) and second season. Anyway, the story is about Cid who was reincarnated from someone who has the goal to be the power from the shadow, and let's just say he got it after he encounter a truck while being oblivious at it. Not the type of story that I look forward when it come to seasonal anime, but at least it has it's fans, including some who like to self-insert as Cid. Tondemo Skill - Unlike Cid who is like to delude himself, the MC of this work Muroda is more realistic. The story is about he was summoned into another world with three other high school students with the king asked them to fight the demon. Realizing the king tried to conscript them into waging the war so the king can keep his privilage, Muroda wisely escape before finding his power to do the shopping from the Earth, which proven to be handy seeing he immediately encounter the strong wolf, Fenrir, that find the food from Earth is very delicious. Afterwards, Muroda decided to travel as the merchant with Fenrir as his bodyguard, and obviously he'll cook food for himself and Fenrir so you'll seeing a lot of cooking in the anime. Chainsaw Man - While this is shonen manga with the MC being a man who possessed by the devil, curiously the major antagonists here are female (ie villainess, although they're obviously more dangerous than shoujo manga villainess). For the manga itself, it's about Denji who is pretty much an unlucky man who gain some power to fuse with his companion, chainsaw devil Pochita, in order to become the titular Chainsaw Man after Denji was dead. From there, he'll fight a lot of unruly devil. Other than that, let's just say i manage to know this series through a certain meme, which more than enough to prove the manga is quite popular. Tsundere Villainess - Speaking of shoujo manga villainess, we have Liselotte as the one (Of course the author did present her as otome game villainess). The author also have the other twist on this, namely he had the titular Endo and Kobayashi as the player with them can have their voices be heard in the game. So yeah, you can say this is pretty much the real life couple, Endo and Kobayashi, tried their best to ship the prince and the titular tsundere villainess Liselotte just because Kobayashi can't endure to see Liselotte can only got the bad ending in the game. For the anime itself, let's just say it ended satisfactory. Tomo-chan Is a Girl - Well it's actually quite interesting we got a love comedy with the main POV is the girl instead of usual male, and it's source is also interesting with it being 4-koma manga that had been updated daily. The story is about the titular Tomo who show some interest towards her childhood friend Jun, although for Jun seeing Tomo is a very tomboy girl he can only see Tomo as his best friend. So knowing that, Tomo decided to do her best in order to make Jun see herself as a woman. The anime itself has some interesting casting, with one of the VA, Sally Amaki, act as Carol in both of Japanese and English dub with she manage to do good job on both version of Carol. Jojo Part 6 - Unlike past two series, this time we back to the direct descendant of Joestar after the author tried to stretch it two times. Also this time the author decided to make the MC as female instead of usual male, which to say may be for the first and last times. For the story, we have Jolyne who is the daughter of Jotaro (Part 3 MC) was thrown into dangerous prison after she was framed for the horrible crime she didn't do. In the prison, she got the gift from her father which in turn awaken her Stand, and from now on Jolyne must fight against any Stand-user who in her way. This part is the last one where the author do weekly release before moving on to the monthly release, and so it's quite fitting he ended it in the most bizzare and dramatic way. Oh yes, it's easy to miss this series, because Netflix as the distributor has brilliant idea to release it all at once instead of weekly like past Parts, with some fans did regret the decision. That's all for what I can comment in regard of Winter 2023 anime here, and we really almost catch up with the present when it come to anime.

While you chose newest Navel VN for the possible candidate of VN of the Month for October 2024, actually the most fitting one would be Putrika in which it gather enough votes and rated favourably even though it's the serial VN with only the 1st part (Or 1st cut as the title mentioned) available for now. That said, we have several interesting title released in October 2024, so I'll talk some of it below. Putrika - Its a new VN by the new publisher Totomeori, although looking from the staffs it's Uguisu Kagura in all but name with their most known VN is Lupercalia (I guess they decided to go as doujin circle to save some money), and by that obviously they're not amateur when it come to making VNs. The story is about a boy who is raised by the demon met with the amnesic girl who plagued with she has the dream being the very devoted believers to the Archangel. Obviously there's much more than that, especially if we see on how dark and dramatic Lupercalia can be (And apparently they still keep the good voice acting performance in here). Anyway, Putrika is available on Steam even if it's only available in Chinese and Japanese, and the developer asked anyone who want the English language support should add this in their wishlist. While the full title indicate this is only the first part, the reviewer did say the story is completed enough, but obviously the writer still have more to tell looking from how they titled it as '1st cut'. Moon Ghost - Well it's interesting on how Mikage who has been writing most of translated Purple Software VNs decided to write a short work, and Purple Software decided to use the new artist instead of the usual one. My interest is somehow they decided to use Kirikiri instead of their own engine, which if we know is the source of pain for any publisher who worked on this (Especially with on how Nekonyan did their best to port Aoi Tori until Purple Software decided to interfered because how long the engine work is). Oh yes, they also have their other new VN, Lip Lipples, use Kirikiri, so perhaps Purple Software may decide to move on from their old engine, which to say may be for the best in case they still want to localize their own VNs. By the way if I may be honest, I only find Realive as the most interesting one when it come to Purple Sotware remaining VNs, although I understand no publisher want to deal with them in order to get Realive's license. Otome Sekai - Obviously knowing the writer did write Otome Domain, one would expect him to write another moege with klutzy heroine (We even have Minato's VA return to voiced the MC, Yui). Instead, what we get is the MC live in a world where the male was trained as the low ranking soldier with female took over the important position in the society. Enter Yui who survived after being sent into the battlefield enter the woman military school under a mission. Seeing the story was written by Otome Domain writer, Yui quickly prove himself that he can be as good looking as Minato when it come to disguised as female, and so his mission was going off without too much problem (Of course his identity will be revealed to his love interest). The VN structure is quite interesting, in which it only has one heroine instead of three like in Otome Domain, and yet the writer didn't write this as serial VN so there's no chance to see the other characters as the heroine. Minagoroshi no Otome - Unlike Otome Sekai, the MC for this, Towa, is explicitly female with she laser focused on avenge her mother who was killed after being betrayed, and more importantly Towa was forced to kill her sister who was forcefully transformed into the monster by the traitor. So she enter the school who has its Student Council President being the descendant of the traitor, and Towa will bide her time until she can exact the revenge. The VN is the second main work of Metalogiq after Dead End Aegis, with it has magical girls. Also compared to Dead End Aegis, there's surprisingly much less rape with the story focusing on GL. That said, there's still rape even though it's lesbian one, and there's still some disturbing sex scenes with the perpetrators are male (So don't expect the sex scenes will be all lesbian). JAST have the license for this, and we still don't know on when they'll release it. That's all for what I can talk about the release in October 2024.

As for whether the project is still ongoing or not, unfortunately I don't know (I want to know about that as well). Then again, perhaps he was too busy with his works so much he didn't have enough times to do the final QA. By the way, the QA could took some times, which may be sounds surprising but it's the usual happening seeing QA is more than just checking if the translation is wrong or not (Like making sure whether the text is inserted properly or whether there's game breaking bugs that came from inserting the new text). Anyway, if you want to play it there's the leaked patch with an user above pointing out the issues with the patch, otherwise there'll be long wait.

littleshogun replied to tenshi25's topic in Released
Well, nice to see you decided to continuing this, so congratulation on finishing two routes and good luck on the third route. -
Does anyone know any VNs with dark tones?
littleshogun replied to Bobby12bro's topic in Recommendations
Well, if you're looking for some VN with some depressing contents, then perhaps you can try Fata Morgana if you still didn't play it yet. Other than that, perhaps you can try Tsui no Sora Remake, Dead End Aegis, or Gore Screaming Show, although note that those three VNs have disturbing contents if that's bother you. I don't know if you're already play those or not, but regardless I hope my recommendations will be helpful to you. -
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and because we have Since Memories released with the artist did design the characters for Aquatope anime (Which to say I immediately recognize her art), I made the parody of Aquatope full title, The Aquatope on White Sand, with I changed 'on White Sand' into 'Starry Sky' with it from Since Memories English full title, so we have 'The Aquatope on Starry Sky' as the title. For this week, well there's less updates compared to the last week, with one of the interesting highlight is Hikari Field decided to localized newest Madosoft VN, Select Oblige, into English. Other than that, there's obvious Since Memories release and a few updates from Sekai. Overall, this week is kind of an average one, and let's see what I can write about it. For this week, we only have one fan translation updates, and said update is in regard of QA work for Akagoei 3 in which currently it's at 22.37% done. Nekonyan also has some interesting progress for one of their project, in which they already start the QA work for Hatsusaku (Hopefully it mean they already done with the porting work of it). Speaking of Nekonyan, their usual partner Hikari Field decided to localized newest Madosoft VN, Select Oblige, into English by themselves. While usually they take care of Chinese localization for Nekonyan VNs, they did plan two English releases in the past with one of those is Tayutama 2 (Which infamously had bad translation in the trial). As we can see, it should be obvious they still not released Tayutama 2 in English yet, although seeing now they have exact release date for it (November 8th) hopefully this time they manage to deliver the English release, which if Hikari Field manage to do it then they're automatically better compared to Sekai when it come to localize Madosoft VN. Speaking of Sekai, we have some updates with Nekopara 5 is in translation, Wagahigh FD is at 45% translated, and Amairo Chocolate 3 is fully edited with Sekai now starting the programming work for it. Lastly, after many years of not localizing their charage series VN Memories Off, Mages finally localized Since Memories in English with said VN is the part of Memories Off series. For Memories Off itself, it's the long runner series of charage from KID before it change to Mages after KID's bankruptcy, and for the info in Western KID is more famous for Infinity Trilogy even with Never7 has charage element from Memories Off. For Since Memories, it's about Jun'ya who still feel guilty about his older brother death suddenly told by a mysterious girl that he should be the one who die. Some times after, Jun'ya took a project to renovate the house of his childhood friend Chihaya who happen to be a high class lady. Seeing Jun'ya didn't have knowledge to renovate high class house, he'll obviously need some helps and of course he need to get out of his depression stage to ask for help. Go get Since Memories if you're curious about the first translated Memories Off series, and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

As for the chance, considering Saga Planet pushed more promotion on Hatsuyuki along with Kirikoi and Ambitious Mission, I would say it has less chance. Also considering there's a dubious C&D on Hanasaki fan translation project in which it has sizeable progress and Nekonyan may C&D any translation project of the VNs from their partners, I doubt anyone want to translate this. It should be note that Saga Planets just start to come into recognition with Coming x Humming in 2009, so obviously Pure Heart came off as much lesser title (And it's obviously not Kanon). So yeah the chance for either fans or Nekonyan to pick this is almost zero to nothing, and frankly speaking I prefer Nekonyan license Ambitious Mission over this, although if you prefer Pure Heart over those new VNs then it's okay.
