  1. If anything at least he can translate what he likes now that he didn't bound by Mangagamer anymore. Also I think his translation on Haruka is not as controversial as either Rance or Suki Suki here (Especially the latter), so perhaps there's something that caused him to chose controversial translation choice (Whether it's forced by some people or by his own will I don't know).
  2. Well after scanning some video and VNDB tags, I still say it is. Especially if we know that Kure is the one who wrote Suika's first chapter, Evangile, and Sakuramori. Granted that Evangile did ended happily, but there's some heavier stuffs that happen in there and I'm guessing that there's no Evangile drama here (At least the parents is looking nice compared to the Evangile one (Especislly MC's parents here)). I know there's some different race drama and the life and death drama, but in the end I still say that it's one of lighter Kure's work if not the lightest here. Oh and I know that Imopara is also Kure's work here (Sort of), but it didn't count here because it's a nukige.
  3. Well I'm gonna admit that the premise is quite questionable to me, but in the end it might be the most lighthearted work that Kure did write here after Evangile FD (I don't know though if it's really true or not, but looking from the review it might be really the case).
  4. As for Meikyuu, I would say that it's still good to see that basically we have Yuuji's past being revealed. While for Rakuen, it have a lot of fan services would be one way to put it because to fulfill that the writer need to retcon a lot of elements from the character routes in order to compile what the fans want to see, so yeah I'll just treat Rakuen as fandisc here (It also help that the main route was not the continuation of any Kajitsu's route). I also like to mention that basically Rakuen here is already destroyed by Amane's route, seeing that her route is very conclusive and thus it didn't really need a certain character to reappear here. So in the end I guess Rakuen is good enough to be called as the sequel, providing that you just watch Kajitsu's anime and then jump straight to play Meikyuu instead of playing Kajitsu's VN. Also if you thought that the anime is very rush and that Yuuji solve the girls problem quickly, it's because FW want to properly shown on how Yuuji's solve the girls problems in single continuity and that they only have a season to do it. There's one more reason on why the continuity for the VN is really bad, in that it's simply because Kajitsu is a charage despite the girls have very big problems. While granted that there's a ladder structure in VNDB, in the end it's still not work because we can even see the last route (Yumiko) get a good conclusion so much that it didn't really need the sequel. I understand though why FW write like that (They about to face the closure back then), so they need to conclude Kajitsu as tight as possible. I'm still mind though, and I think it's been like that since back when they announced the sequel/FD ever since back at 2012. PS - By fan service of course I didn't mean the girls expose their skin or something like that (It's already given situations in eroge), but rather some things that the fans want to see such as action, girls interacting and show how they capable without Yuuji, and a reunion with a certain character (Yes I count it as fan service because we already know from Amane's route that they didn't ever need to meet to fully conclude her route).
  5. Congratulation for the release, and perhaps I'll try this seeing that the graphic is quite good looking. It's also interesting that this VN is essentially also have GL story, and that our Kepposhi (Controversy aside) is like to write GL story if we look at his works. PS - After seeing that Erogamescape's average score Umineko Chiru EP 8 at 58 just because of the ending, perhaps it should be for the best to not trust the score from there anymore.
  6. Well perhaps we can say that Tokyotoon is at fault as well, although seeing that their next game have Noraneko staff we can say that Tokyotoon is rebranding name for Harukaze. So what I can say is that Harukaze here is more or less like Leaf, and in this case then I would prefer Harukaze to act like Leaf in that they chose to not localized their older VNs that have sex scenes (With it at least there'll be no censorship controversy). Oh well. Anyway, today we suddenly have this released. So if you didn't have any problem with the lack of sex scenes and been wanted to play it, then get it at the store here and have fun.
  7. Did try Black Office nukige, and let's just say that the font really need a lot of arrangement because it looks very messy and hard to read.
  8. What I can say? Well since I don't know the actual truth here I'll just say that hopefully Arunaru will get a good rest there. Also for the worry about the future of VN localization, well I guess the worry is very reasonable although if the translator's salary is very small then we have a lot of problem here. For Rance X, let's just say that I'm not particularly look forward to it as of now (Of course it would be very good if it's fully translated) so at least Arunaru here already finished most of his job at Mangagamer, and I'm sure that Mangagamer will get the new translator for X.
  9. Well good for Switch player in that they didn't need to wait for two years in order to play Rakuen after seeing infamous Meikyuu cliffhanger ending, although if you didn't have plan to reread the trilogy on TV you wouldn't care much about the release anyway (Moreso if you didn't own Switch here). Other than that, looking from Noraneko I guess the censorship wouldn't be heavy here seeing that Nintendo did have slightly more lax censorship rule (I may be very wrong on this).
  10. Because we have Ginharu Bethly's patch released and that one of her setting is her father is a pilot, I parodied one of Macross iconic song 'My Boyfriend is a Pilot' by changing the word 'pilot' to 'dad' (Of course Bethly wouldn't sing the song in the game seeing that the lyric is more fitting for the couple and that Bethly didn't have Electra complex there). Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and for this week we have interesting update from fan translation in regard of Bethly's patch release. Other than that we also finally have Sol Press announce the new release date for Kimiaogi along with some nukige releases, while at the same time we have a failed Dei Gratiia KS. So overall what I can say is that this week is pretty calm from the official side, while from fan translation it's pretty interesting. Let's see what I can write for this week as well. We have Mangagamer did released kunoichi nukige from Umesoft, and what I can say is that at least it's sort of interesting if you want to play nukige featuring kunoichi. Other than that, there's Black Office nukige that was released by an unknown publisher, in which it'll depict a story about an office woman who will face several sexual situation in the office or something like that (I only know that at least it'll have female MC). Feel free to get both of the nukige if you want it, and have fun. Speaking about nukige, we have Cherry Kiss announce another nukige with isekai setting, and the name of the nukige is Nympho Monster Domination (The real name of that is quite mouthful by the way). For the release, apparently they'll do it at this month (November) so let's wait and see here. While it's logical that Dei Gratia KS is failed (It was funded at 7,844 out of 57,000) seeing that they set the goal too big for a lesser known doujin VN localization, it's still too bad though that they failed seeing that they've been want to share the VN because the story remind Lemmisca's staffs of Ever17 (For the record Lemnisca is started from the fan translation group who did Never7 as their first work in VN translation, and that they'd been inspired by Ever17). So for the next plan they decided to not working on this for seeing that the KS is failed, although they said that they may will try it again if there's another chance in the future. We also have good news as well here, in which we finally have Sol Press announce the new release date for Kimiaogi in which it'll be at Friday later, so let's hope that Sol Press already finished what was needed to resolve the bug so that they wouldn't need to delay it anymore. For anyone else who still keep the eyes on Muv Luv translation project, we finally have Photonmelodies fully translated although it's obviously still need quite a lot of time bore the release though. For the fan translation, actually we have a full release in which it's a short otome VN that was worked on by Zakamutt. While I'm not interested to this, at least you may pick it if you've been wanted to read a love story between the princess (Who also the MC) and her ninja bodyguard. For the updates, we have Miotsukushi Omote was at 45% translated, Loverable was at almost 70% (69.98%) edited, and Eustia was finally past 80% mark (At 80.60%) translated with Eustia's chapter was at 71.07% translated along with 66.47% edited. There's Alka as well, in which currently they editing and testing Ao's patch before release it in the near future (At most would be next week), and then after that they'll continuing Kamome's translation work before finally focusing on both of Pockets and Alka routes (Both of those routes are Summer Pocket's true route). They also stated that they'll make sure that we'll have Summer Pocket available in English at this year whether it's from Alka or from KEY themselves, so let's see it later. For Summer Pocket's translation progress, we obviously have Ao's route already fully translated and for the current progress of Summer Pockets it was at 60.36% translated. In regard of Ginharu, we finally have Bethly's patch after two months of waiting so congratulation for Tsurezure for finally manage to do it after they being stumped by the real life matter. While I understand that some people would prefer waiting until Mizuha's patch released (For the reminder Tsurezure will translated Mizuha's route last and so I called Ginharu's full patch as Mizuha's patch), you can try Bethly's patch if you've been wanting to play her route just because you've been interested with her only and have fun if you do it. For the progress, since we have Trip being sick since Tuesday (I hope he'll get well soon) so that there's not a lot of progress there, currently we have Momiji's route was at 11.94% translated with overall Ginharu was at 46.1% translated. That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.
  11. Here's the update for this week below. Common: 100.0% Bethly: 100.0% Mizuha: 0.0% Yuzuki: 0.0% Momiji: 11.94% Hinata: 100.0% Total: 46.1% No much to say other than hopefully Trip will get better soon, so that's all for this week update.
  12. Because we have Bethly's patch released, I decided to post the songs from her route. Colorful World Happiness (Bethly's Ending Song) What I can say is that I like both of the songs equally, although describing on how Yukito come in Toronto (Excuse me, Tronto) with beautified plane in the first song might be a bit too much though lol. As for the singer of both songs, it's Kawada Mami who as we know sang both of Koichoco and Aokana opening (Also HatsuKoi's ending song). Other that that, she's more well known as the anime singer with the most well known one are both of Index's opening and Shana's opening. As of now, currently she's already retired from back at May 2017.
  13. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and as for your problem perhaps you can change the date to Japanese as well like Bakauchujin did suggest (Same problem with Irotoridori and Astral Air if I remember). Feel free to ask for the VN recommendations if you need it, and I hope that you'll have fun here.
  14. Seeing that the new logo for new PreCure was already revealed and the name for the new PreCure is Healin' Good PreCure (Shortened as HGPC for now), I'll obviously keep my eyes on that. I guess Koisuru Asteroid may be interesting as well seeing that it's usual 4-koma story there except with space theme, and the main writer of that is Yamada Yuka who apparently want to apply her experience in writing STPC's episodes as soon as possible. While I'm not exactly fond on how the author Runway Waratte pull a Decoy MC trope so that instead of short female model MC we'll going to have poor talented male designer MC, I guess we should wish a luck for the studio in which it's their third job after Happy Sugar Life and Sounan Desu Ka. Other than that, I just want to know when we'll going to have 'MC Kill Slime for 300 Years' and 'I Hate Pain, so I Make Full Defense Build' anime being broadcasted, simply because both of those have female MC.
  15. What I can say is that have fun if you've been waiting for it. Also while the main writer here did learn from Masada in writing which mean that you'll come across one of Dies Irae like scene (I see a Discord user post a spoiler filled scene and said that the scene remind him of Dies Irae), I wouldn't still recommend it to Dies Irae fans anyway (And obviously including some users who ask for recommendations here) unless they okay with some disturbing sex contents. Granted that Dies Irae itself featured some disturbing contents, but at least there's no much brutal sex like Maggot Baits here. PS - If anything I like the opening song here.
  16. Congratulation for reaching 80% mark translated there, and good luck with the rest of the work there.
  17. Looks like I mistaken here, so sorry about that. In any case I guess it's good strategy from them to not add the stretch goal here, seeing that once again 180,000 base goal is already high enough. Good luck to Sekai for gather the rest of the fund, and hopefully they'll be able to reach it in two weeks (At least the chance looking good, unlike Dei Gratia).
  18. Decided to continue with Hibiki's route of Maitetsu here, and let's see what's her route about.
  19. Anyway today we have the release for the awaited Bethly's patch, and as usual you can get it from their site here. No much to say other than Irru said that they'll try to not take as much time for Hinata's patch later, and have fun playing Bethly's route later if you've been interested with Bethly ever since Ginharu being released back at 2016.
  20. Well congratulation for them for finally past 100,000 mark (At 104,805) with 16 days left there. At this rate, for now let's just say that it might be possible to reach the base goal but not the stretch goal.
  21. The art looks really good, and for now we need more info in regard of Musicus here although looking from the writer we can say that it'll be like Kira Kira. In any case good luck on Overdrive's Final VN there, and if you want to buy it in Japan it'll be released at December 20th later (The English version will be released at 2020 later).
  22. Finished Kemomusu, and what I can say is that I like although too bad it's quite short. I really want to see the more on casts life, but I guess what we have here is enough. All that's left from there is collect the sex scenes, which surprisingly need a precise choice to unlock. I didn't pay attention to the choice here, because I thought that since this is a kinetic VN choice wouldn't really matter much only to have it wrong. For the next VN, still don't know yet.
  23. While I can see their enthusiasm on localized this just like back when Gundam Ace finished Root Double, unfortunately the KS fall here. And let's to be honest that the base goal is quite high for a basically a doujin VN, so it's inevitable that people would thought that it's quite a mistake to do it especially without powerful backer (ie Sekai). In any case they'll say that they may will try this again, so for now the project will be abandoned. Hopefully they'll be able to restart this project, seeing that once again they very enthusiast when they talk about this.
  24. About Chiho's route, I think Arunaru may not like her route very much so I understand that if he didn't put much effort on her route, moreso if the payment is the same whether he did put the effort or not (Only my guess though). I can ramble more, but Suki Suki might be better if the author just scrapped Chiho's route altogether and double his effort on Rinka's route, or perhaps the staffs reallocate the money to make Maya's route. Anyway as for Haretaka here at least I can say that there'll be no Chiho like route, although I wouldn't promised that there'll be no same circumstance that cause Chiho to be like that though. As for Ayame like route I'll leave it to you to find out by yourself, but at least I can say that the writer have more organized when write Haretaka here compared to Suki Suki (At least that's what I get from scanning some of the scenes).
