No. Longer answer: You will virtually never get someone to translate something just because you asked. Amateur fan translation is done by people who are usually passionate about the work themselves since it's a process that actually takes a lot of time and almost never receives any meaningful acknowledgement.

As a native Australian speaker who speaks something closer to UK English than US English I can tell you that I have never used or heard bat used in such a way. Personally I have no problem with wildly different translations of baka since idiot rarely conveys the nuance for every moment though most translations just use idiot. Artistic license in translation I have no problem with, but this is just plain shit; bat shit stupid ding bat perhaps.

I'll comment again after I've seen at least 2 episodes of everything. The most "interesting" different shows are houseki, shoujo shuumatsu and kujira though I'm enjoying the first more and the second is an interesting way to have cute girls just getting by in a post apocalyptic world without really discussing it while the last doesn't feel that original any more. However none are of the standard of Made in Abyss IMO. I can't see any new shows being stand out this season unfortunately.

Anime/Manga that (you thought) are different from popular opinion
ittaku replied to alden_0023's topic in Anime/Manga Talk
Actually I quite enjoyed Eromanga. I found it very amusing even though it was clear what tropes it was playing on since it wasn't an execution of those tropes but a parody of them done in a way that, for me at least, was funny. I prefer to form my own opinions rather than be swayed by some popular opinion that automatically disses something based on its content. -
To Heart 2 has the older sister figure in Tamaki Kousaka (voiced by Shizuka Itou too who's infamous in anime and VNs.)

It's hard to put much weight to your argument when your signature says "Lolis are life. Lolis are love. " Anyway in my experience it was one punch man. I got so tired of the joke of him being the most powerful person in the universe yet treated like a loser. That grew old very quick and was the premise for the entire series. I really wanted to like it... -
Yes it seems that's pretty much the overwhelming opinion. To Heart 2 came out as an all ages game originally withOUT Sasara in it and the X rated PC game came out less than a year later and Sasara was an add on. It's clear to me they were trying to cash in on tropes that had suddenly gotten popular in that time in her route and in the process pretty much ruined it. The rest of the routes are all variable quality from good to excellent but none of them are bad and have similar redeeming qualities, while hers is a mess.

You're welcome - that was Fred telling you how to do what I suggested

No, I think you're confusing "shit" with "not happy". It's just plain shit. Despite that, it's still shit.

I tried to watch more Ousama game. I can't stand shit like this. Die. Saw first episode of Inuyashiki. Looks pretty lame and predictable but I won't drop it just yet. Shobitch was reasonably entertaining as the ecchi romcom for the season. I'll keep watching. Incredibly I also read that Black Clover will be 51 episodes. 51 episodes of shouting does not a good plot make. God so many good shows that could do with sequels or longer runs and this shit gets 51. I'm guessing it's based on the success of the manga but the first 2 episodes the anime were woeful.

Just a thought, there are some games that are not multi CPU aware and if they're badly programmed can lead to a situation known as priority inversion on modern multi core or multi thread machines. I don't know how one does this on windows (since I'm a linux programmer) but there must be a way to bind a program to only one CPU. If there are any windows experts around that know how to do this if they could chime in that would help, otherwise I suggest you google how to do that and try it?

Indeed it is the WORST epilogue in the game by far. I'm afraid that's the good ending. I found Sasara's route the most troublesome by far, and that epilogue did not help. After a whirlwind really uplifting end in her route before the closing credits, they go and pull that shit in the epilogue. If I could I would advise people to just read up to the closing credits and end there instead, but of course no one could stop without reading the epilogue. Remember that Sasara's route was an add on to the original To Heart 2 game and in my opinion that really shows with the emphasis on completely different story points in all the wrong ways compared to the other routes. The fact it was written by the same writer who did Ruuko's route makes it all the more baffling in its execution since they're almost the exact opposite stories... perhaps that was the point?

Finally watched the kizumonogatari trilogy movies. They were really good and could actually be watched as a standalone trilogy if you've never seen any of the *monogatari series - though I guess they're spoilers since they're prequels that are meant to be watched after you've watched the series to see how it all started. There was an odd story discrepancy from the latest owarimonogatari specials there but I let it slide as perhaps I misunderstood the timing of where the other ones fit in. However there is one hot scene with Hanekawa in the 3rd film with Yui Horie voice acting which is about as close as she's ever come to VA'ing 18+ eroge as I've ever heard and man did that stroke my nutsack. I finished the owarimonogatari specials too and they were very good, but not the standard these movies were.

Can Too Many Choices Ruin Your VN Reading Experience?
ittaku replied to mitchhamilton's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Glad to be of service. I hate pointless choices that make no difference to the game, but even more I hate choices that do make a difference to the game but there is no logical connection with the outcome based on the choice. I'm too old to take any enjoyment whatsoever out of bad endings too so that pretty much leaves me with only Alcot type choice selections - make 3 choices in total which ends up choosing which heroine's good end you get and there is no bad end. -
It's fun checking into https://vndb.org/v20 every so often to see what the new votes coming in think of the game now. There's a fresh flood of new votes since the final patch release

The outlook so far after just over one week (since I start out watching almost everything.) Animegataris looks kind of interesting. I don't know how black clover managed to have 2 episodes with about 15 seconds of plot stretched out by nothing but shouting shouting shouting over and over again. Dropped that shit. Blend S looks cute enough and harmless. Dies Irae already mentioned looks pretty bad. Evil or Live was pretty bad. Dropped. Houseki no kuni was really interesting. Imouto sae ireba is disconcerting with its perversion rather than amusing but I'll keep watching. Just because seems interesting. Juuni taisen I couldn't even remember what happened which is a bad sign but I'll check out ep2 shortly. Death match? 12 signs of the zodiac again? Kino no tabi was engaging. Konohana Kitan was cute and harmless. Kujira is mildly interesting. Mahoutsukai no yome was very interesting as expected. Netjuu no susume is pretty straight forward predictable romcom so easy to continue. Ousama game there's something about it that pisses me off but Hocchan as heroine ffs, I find it hard to drop any series with her as VA. Sengoku Night Blood. Bishounen stuff, not interested in pretty boys. Dropped. Shokugeki more of the same which I don't mind but it is in danger of feeling too repetitive now. Shoujo shuumatsu was most unusual but intriguing enough to keep watching. Two car looks like an easy to watch sport anime. Hopefully it has some depth to it. UQ holder as discussed above. I'll keep watching. Urahara was absolutely not my cup of tea. Magic girls and dress ups only as the story? I think not. Ballroom e youkoso still enjoying this quite a bit. Omiai aite - lol more porn which should excite me but I'm sick of watching guys force girls to like them through foreplay. That's so wrong on so many levels I can't find this titillating. Might be others' cup of tea though. Osake wa fufu - very cute with mature characters for a change. Gintama - being stored up for binge watching. That's it so far. Quite a few I didn't bother with even the first episode and there are still a few others to try. Looking forward to more 2022 Yamato. Overall nothing really looking awesome one week in, but sometimes it's a few weeks before the real gems stand out.

The reason I keep talking about this game as a legend is because it is actually a lot older than most games that have done similar things / characters / stories and inspired so many other games, anime and spinoffs. It was only recently playing My Girlfriend is the President, for example, and in it the hero and main heroine talk about playing "True Heart 2" clearly paying homage to it. You'll find reference to this game in other works much more now that you've played it. 7.7 is a pretty good rating though, and good to see Ruuko had a special place for you too Most of the routes are almost exactly the same length in text by the way, only Yuuki's route is a short one. Sasara's route feels long probably because (at least in my opinion) it's too long.

I finished the SAO movie. It was in serious danger of the infamous bluray nipple being the most redeeming feature of the movie. It was a slow self obsessed rehash of almost every SAO story before, making all the same mistakes of the original series... until the end where the last 20 minutes of action and pseudo story with a super fucking duper happy ending almost redeeming all the issues of the 1 /2 hours before it. Nonetheless thanks to the ending I enjoyed the movie overall and was happy to have watched it.
