  1. Oh, that fixed it. Can confirm that Muramasa works with the extra parameter.
  2. I hate to be the guy who couldn't get it to work again, but I think I can confirm that this doesn't work with Muramasa. Can't handle the encryption, it seems.
  3. Continuing Muramasa at a slow pace. I think I haven't read anything this cruel to the protagonist so far. And those nightmares-- I was laughing because how bizarre it was, but damn. Well, I guess it's time for some racing next. Also started Reminiscence because... because of glorious AkaGoei cameos! Well, there was only one serious one so far, but it made me so happy! The story is also interesting, I like reading VNs with broken protagonists.
  4. Already a trailer? Had no idea this was coming out so soon! Awesome - though if there's no original VA option, no buy. I'll rather fight with the kanji I don't know one by one than to listen to that horrendous dub.
  5. It's a part of Amane's route in Grisaia no Kajitsu.
  6. If you want to get the most out of it, you should also read Kagetsu Tohya and play Melty Blood. Kara no Kyoukai has some cameos in there too... yeah, there's a lot. I really, really hope this is not going to be the case. The darker stuff is my favourite from Type-Moon's works.
  7. Just because you liked F/Z doesn't mean you'd like F/SN anyway. I've read F/SN first and watched F/Z later, and I've much preferred F/Z in the end. If you haven't already, you might want to check out the Kara no Kyoukai movies. They're also animated by ufotable, music is also by Kajiura and the story is by Type-Moon as well - it's a great watch, possibly my favourite series of anime movies.
  8. Would you have any actual examples of this? I'm assuming the main platform for these are smartphones nowadays? I'm just really curious what it's like.
  9. They should, but it doesn't work for some reason. Weird. Well, I can just go look for the OST somewhere either way.
  10. There's a severe lack of Cavia love in this thread. Here, have some amazing Nier music: http://youtu.be/XgMRNiEPPYg Or some badass Drag-on Dragoon 3 music: http://youtu.be/x39MgW8fIac Hell, I'd just post the whole OST for these two games if I could.
  11. Hm, tried the Crage method for AkaGoei Trinity, and while it did extract the BGMs in .ogg format, I can't play any of them..?
  12. Ah, well... that calmed down my curiosity quite a lot. I might eventually just try this or Euphoria to see just how fucked up it is, but I most likely won't make it through the whole thing, unless the story is somehow worth it.
  13. I just have to wonder, are these kind of VNs made for a certain group of people that get off on this kind of stuff, or is it just made to disturb you as much as possible? I'm willing to give one of Clockup titles a shot out of plain curiosity if its the later, but th former... yeaaaah, that's kind of scarier than the content itself.
  14. This for me as well. I like gory stuff (liked Corpse Party, loved Saya no Uta), but as a fetish? Hell no. This looks really disturbing in the very wrong way from the OP - though I would be lying if I said it didn't make me curious. I might check it out just to see how far it can really go.
  15. No, dating sims =/= visual novels. Dating sims have more 'gameplay'-- stats management and such.
  16. Yeah, I completed it, it just keeps getting better as it goes. The story might not be that great, but it serves its purpose perfectly - its the concept and later on interactivity that makes this one of my favourite VNs. There's some incredible attention to detail in there, I really liked that. But yeah, I think totono was my first experience with NTR outside of jokes, and it was really uncomfortable. Especially when taken as a fetish, it really weirds me out. It can work nicely in a story, but it certainly isn't a nice experience.
  17. Meikyuu has a whole bunch of Kazuki because a lot of it takes place in the past, but as for an actual route... who knows what's in Rakuen? It might be there, I'm just avoiding any info so I don't really know anything about the VN, though.
  18. Nooo, nooo! How could you, Nitro+?! I... I can't, this is so horrible.... Finished the second chapter in Muramasa.
  19. I've just randomly came across this, and... well, thought I should probably share.
  20. Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi has really nice art: For art similar to Hoshimemo, though... I guess you should just go for some moege?
  21. Tsuki in the last Akatsuki no Goei. Yeah, she did have a route in the first VN.... but she needs a route in all of the entries, that's how awesome she is. There are two sequels, I would be surprised if there actually isn't something like this already.
  22. I was seriously weirded out by that scene as well, but what follows after it... damn <3 I hope you'll enjoy the VN as much as I did!
  23. I would normally take this as a joke, but there actually are VN(s) like that...
  24. Hell, I'd do it myself if I could, since I really liked the VN - but unfortunately, it's PS3/360 only.
  25. There's more depth to Zero than just "I'll kill everyone!", but you won't really see any of it up until the first ending. No, no, Nier is great - and the ending is amazing. Hell the ending is what makes the story so good - especially when you replay the game and go for the further endings, that's when the game hits really hard. When it comes to the story, Nier is my favourite from the franchise (well, still haven't played Drakengard 2), you definitely shouldn't skip out on it. I'd go as far as to say it was my favourite story of last gen. And the OST is simply magical, the best of the franchise too. Drakengard 3 has a tie-in with Nier in the last ending (maybe in the honour of the first Drakengard's last ending being where Nier starts off from), so you might want to play it in the Drakengard 1 => Nier => Drakengard 3 order to get the most lore out of it, but it isn't strictly necessary.
