Am I the only one who can't find the game on Denpsasoft? I can find the patch only through a link on VNDB, but even that isn't featured on the site. Do I need to buy the steam game + patch? I want a download edition *Dergonu throws a tantrum* EDIT: Just checked, it says the R18 download edition is supposed to be out today! Where is mah porn game!

I have to say G-senjou no Maou. Not saying it was a bad game, (I still rated it an 8 lol,) but after all the hype that game had gotten, playing it was kind of a dissapointment to be honest. A lot of the mystery elements were easy to predict, leaving little impact on me during a big part of the story, and the third chapter was quite boring in my opinion. It wasn't bad, but the second chapter was so good, going from that to hearing about ice skating for hours was ... well, boring as fudge. The ending was still very good, I loved most of the characters and some of the mystery elements did still catch me by surprise, but overall it was not as good as I had hoped.

I have spotted a couple of mistakes, (they forgot to put spaces between a couple of words in a sentence,) but overall it's not bad. It feels natural. I haven't really noticed any blunders anywhere, except for those 2 sentences lacking a few spaces. The writing isn't exactly rocket science, but editing / translation wise, it looks pretty acceptable.

Damn, I had no idea this was even a thing. This does make looking up kanji when viewing a pdf or a picture file a lot easier. Will probably also be really helpful for beginners who don't want to go straight into a VN, like you said. Thanks for making this guide! (Tbh, seeing as there isn't really anything on this type of tool on the forum, you should sticky this.)

Hmm, interesting. We already knew it wasn't going to be an 18+ version from their kickstarter, but still, now it's 100% confirmed. The first quote confuses me ..."This is free, and in the future we will release more." Are they saying the whole game will be free? Because if that is the case, their slightly dodgy engine makes some sense, as if it's going to be a free to play game, they might have limited funds to work with. If not, they kinda need to work on how they word things... This really just made me think of 1200 more questions to ask them...

Both. The core story is a "what if" harem route. It is linked to the first game, but not a direct sequel in that it follows none of the routes specifically. So the biggest part of the game is a "what if." Both Rakuen and Meikyuu does have content that IS linked to the first game though, (after routes for each heroine in Meikyuu and a prologue route in Rakuen.) In addition, the "what if" route does give you a lot of information about the past, like what happened to Yuuji before coming to Mihama, etc.

EDIT* Ops, misread that a bit. Yes, after routes are the after stories for the heroines. They are not too long, but very enjoyable. Mmm, those are cut out as well, but you get replacement CGs in the after routes in their place. (The after route H-scenes.) The non canon H-scenes are fan service scenes with some of the other cast members. (The principal, JB, JB's assistant, there is also a yuri scene with Amane and Kazuki etc.) They are quite amazing.

Hmm, I'd say about 15-20 hours maybe? Depends on the reader tbh. The after routes aren't that long, but the main route is quite a bit longer. Then there is all the extras, as well as the H-scenes, (though those aren't in this version.)

The new CG is actually very nice. Kinda funny seeing new content in a "censored" release I'm running the Japanese game next to this one, so I still don't miss out on the H-scenes though. Moonspeaker privilege Considering the fact that they put new replacement CGs in where the H-scenes were, you really aren't missing anything in the routes. The thing you are missing out on is the non canon H-scenes. (They are freaking incredible fan service, but have no plot relevance.) Would recommend waiting if that means a lot to you, but just in a general sense, the cut content is really quite unimportant tbh. (Of course, H is always nice though ) This is a very good idea actually, seeing as (just in case people don't want to know anything about the new game, don't open this. There are no actual spoilers though.)
