  1. First off, I second Highschool of the Dead, (it's pretty good, and is pretty much what you are asking for.) Anyways, I'd say Strike Witches is pretty entertaining, especially if you also watch the anime. The manga isn't one long run, but several small sized arcs. The translated and licensed books in "order": - Maidens in the Sky 1-2 - The sky that connects us - 1937 Fuso Incident 1-2 - One winged Witches 1-2 The witches of Africa is not licensed the last time I checked. If you want something extremely cute, Girl Friends is a great shoujo ai manga. It does have a few fanservice scenes, though not as much as Strike Witches.
  2. The game is all-ages, so there is no cut content, if that's what you are worried about. I don't think they are going to be selling a different version elswhere. (There would be little point, as steam is secure, and also the biggest place in the form of potential sales.)
  3. Do you have a link to this demo? From what I can see, it isn't listed on VNDB.
  4. It's flowers all over again Just ... on a very small scale. But at least it means the finished product will have a higher quality translation, so ... can't really complain.
  5. Lucky (I love tsunderes. I know, I'm crazy.)
  6. I'm going to answer that by posting my old profile pic. (I mean ... come on.) The next person has never been in Europe before.
  7. Hell yes! YES! I made it for this one! YES! Erhem. Anyways, the next person loves rain.
  8. Because ... They want to? ... You don't need any bigger, greater meaning for it than that. People can do what they want with their time.
  9. Where are they?! I will pay good money for this information!
  10. I haven't played too many VNs yet, so this is not an issue for me right now, but it makes sense. It doesn't have to be moe heroines, I mean every character ever made ususally has some resemblance to another, be it visually or by other characteristics. It's only natural that once you have seen hundreds if not thousands of these characters, that they start to blend into each other. (To be honest, if it doesn't happen when you have played so many different games, I'd be quite impressed by your memory.) If you add in a factor where you generally tend to dislike or pay less attention to a certain archetype, then it makes even more sense that you eventually start forgetting some of those characters.
  11. Memes I mean, the game had me at the heterochromia twins. The rest is just gravy.
  12. Console ports? Hah... No. The next person doesn't like vanilla ice cream.
  13. I agree with Deep Blue, I'm critical to some of the stuff SP does as well, but ... this was just silly Kek
  14. Bit of an update, I'm not dead! I am writing chapter 2, but since the past month has been nothing but exams and tests, I haven't had too much time to write. My final exam is this week, so after that I will have plenty of time to write. Also, Forgetful Frank is working hard on Vol.1, editing the whole thing, and he is making some good progress. It should be done in not too long! He also made some seriously cool covers for both book 1 and 2, which I will be using for the books. (Will be adding that to the edited version of vol.1, and to the next edition of vol.2, once a new chapter is done.) I have also decided on the title for the second book, which is: Kitsune and me, the curse of the queen. (キツネと私: 女王の呪い) Anyways, there is a lot more of Kitsune and Sakura to come, so just wait a bit more until my exams are over, and I'll get back to writing regularly again.
  15. Yeah, where the hell did this go?
  16. Hmm, guess I'm kinda looking forward to Lamunation, thanks to @Kiriririri On the translation side of things, I'm very much looking forward to Maitetsu getting translated, (aint bothering reading the whole thing in moonspeak, seeing as it is being translated) and The Shadows of Pygmalion.
  17. I think it's for the better that you stop reading grisaia there. Based on your opinions about the game, you will HATE the sequels
  18. Please take the troll posts to the coliseum of chatter...
  19. I have been dealing with social anxiety for about 5 years. It has primarily been difficult for me to be around large groups of people, especially strangers. Also being in unkown environments has been terrefying, making me just want to run and hide. It made being at school, trying to get work and going to social gatherings very difficult. Something as simple as visiting my relatives at their summer place was enough to make me just shut myself in my room, as I was scared of the new place that I had never been to before, (despite the fact that the only people I was going there with was my family.) It was extremely annoying and frustrating. My absence in school has pretty much always been crazy high. We are talking 40 days + of absence every year. I was able to get over the worst of it after a couple of years with a therapist, who helped me a great deal. I still feel it, and it still makes trying out new things terrefying, like starting a new school / university, moving to a new city and traveling to an unknown country. It's scary as fuck, and I have to focus on the things I learned in therapy in order to get through it, but I have come a long way and it isn't holding me back much anymore. I still sometimes find myself hit by panic attacks, though I'm able to keep them in check fairly well. It's really difficult to give someone in similar situations advice, because the truth is, everyone experiences these things differently. What helped me might just piss off someone else. Social anxiety comes in many forms, and they really only have one thing in common: they all fucking suck. That being said, my advice would be to try and find a psychologist who you feel really comfortable with. A professional wont do shit if you don't feel like you can talk to them about anything. (After all, if you aren't giving them all the correct info they need, actually coming up with a way to help you wont be easy.) If you can find someone like that, someone you can really talk to and open up to, then it becomes a lot easier. First of all, you have someone to talk to about it, which helps in itself. But you will be able to get help from a professional, who will hopefully be able to figure out what you need to do to get over the problem. Or at the very least, teach you how to keep it in check. It was the latter for me. I didn't need any medication, I simply needed to pull my shit together. (My psychologist was quite blunt, but that was what made me like her so much. It was so easy to open up to her. Speaking to her about my problems was like second nature to me.) Don't know if this will help anyone at all, but that's at least my history with social anxiety.
  20. Maybe the more correct way to word it is that it wasn't for you
  21. Aaaaaand I have just wasted like 2 hours of my life derping on the sprite viewer in Maitetsu.

This is seriously just so fucking entertaining. :wahaha: (Though the fact that you can remove their eyes, mouth and arms is really, really freaky  :michiru:  )

I used the in-game sprite viewer. Go to "View scenes" > "View art/ backgrounds" and you can set your own sprites, with any combination of expressions, clothing etc that you want. Then you can save them with the "screenshot" button.
