Fata Morgana and Fault Crossover Fan Fiction Review
Dergonu commented on littleshogun's blog entry in Pretty Cure on Fuwanovel
Excited about all the upcoming yuri stuff It is a good year to be a yuri fan Let's all take a moment to pray for Arc, in order for him to still keep his sanity after translating all these colorful H-scenes. Stay strong! And yes, as long as nothing unexpected happens, a 2016 release for Tsui Yuri is the goal. -
Unless google lied to me, that would be about 940 VNs. Yeeeeeah, no Next person prefers Pepsi over Coca Cola
-
It had been out for a while. I'm sure you can find it if you dig a bit, but it's gone from the actual translation page, as well as VNDB. EDIT: Apperantly that's not quite right. I noticed now that the VNDB link also said "partial", not complete.

This game already had an 18+ patch, which was removed once SP announced that they are working on it. The patch is now gone.

Holy fuck ... this just arrived NOW? *Dergonu gives up all hope that he will see his Root Double physical game this year*

This is the problem with Sekai Project's state of mind when it comes to 18+ releases. The fans have to scream in their faces in order to get the full release of games, and even if they do, it wont necessarily be enough. Just look at how they are handling the Grisaia triology. They will be releasing 18+ versions, but it's being done months after the censored game comes out. Not that many people will bother buying both versions, and people also hate waiting, which means many fans will just give in and buy the all ages version. This then creates a warped image of what their fans wants. People obviously want the original game, and even if there are people who doesn't want to play the 18+ content, they can just skip it. There really is no justification for an all ages release of eroge beyond SP wanting to earn more money. (It sucks, but censored steam games sells.) Their silly threads asking "do you want an 18+ release?" is more of a taunt than anything else. Luckily Mangagamer is a thing.

With SP it's never easy to say what they will end up doing. They speak in code whenever people ask about it. (Something that irritates me so much, I want to throw rocks at them.) Anyways, if you want to go voice your opinion, the thread on this particular game can be found here on SP's own forum: https://forums.sekaiproject.com/forum/general-discussions/407-18-tenshin-ranman Basically, if you want an 18+ release, tell them.

Behold! My not very organized desktop in all its glory!

Sakura Dungeon is definitely on a completely different level from their previous games. It is actually pretty decent. The fact that they are improving is a really good sign. They still have several things they can do better, like making more diverse art, making more intriguing stories and characters etc. There is no doubt that Winged Cloud has a long way to go, but after seeing their most recent game I have to say, my faith in them has been somewhat restored. I look forward to seeing if they can keep on learning and improving as a company, or if this was their limit. There is still hope.

japaneses VN with japanese interfaces and buttons: vocabulary?
Dergonu replied to Kirashi's topic in Visual Novel Talk
You can use sites like http://jisho.org/ to look up kanji if you find something you don't know, but that obviously takes a while. If you don't know any Japanese at all, playing Japanese games with text that cannot be hooked by text hookers is difficult, especially games with actual gameplay that requires interaction beyond just reading. -
Bishoujo Mangekyou TL Update 21: 90% Translated

Good work Arc. Almost there! -
Can somebody explain to me how Grisaia no Kajitsu sequels work?
Dergonu replied to Nekolover's topic in Visual Novel Talk
The people above have basically explained it by now. The second game does containt after routes that connects to the routes from the first game, however these are rather short, and feel a little unrelated to the main route in Meikyuu. The main route is about Yuuji's past, as well as the present, which is an alternate story where Yuuji never actually picked any one girl. The girls find out about Yuuji's past because of a certain ... event that has made them a little uncertain of who Yuuji actually is. Meanwhile, Yuuji himself is not present that much in the actual present time story. A big cliffhanger in the present time story leads into the third game. Rakuen does have a prologue route, which happens before Kajitsu, (it tells the story of how the girls all came to Mihama and ends right before Yuuji enters the school,) but the main route connects to the ending in Meikyuu and ends the series. There is no individual character routes, but instead an overall harem story that is the continuation of the Meikyuu grand route. If you compare the type of game Kajitsu was to Meikyuu and Rakuen, they are quite different in many ways, an in my opinion Kajitsu is 10x better. That being said, both the new games are very good, and are definitely worth a read. Lastly, like Decay mentioned, both the new games have a great deal of extra H-content. Basically, fan service for days. -
Naaaah, don't worry, I don't care about something as boring as 3D 2D is all that matters! 2D maids and nurses is all I need YAAAAY!

Huh, I wrote maids by mistake. 2 fantasies crushed in the same day. Double RIP.

You know what, I said I wouldn't in the chat but ... fuck it. I'm in. I seriously doubt they will release a full patch, but I really want to put something hilarious as your avatar... Please SP! Make it happen! (It's never going to happen, is it? I am so going to end up with that fucking dice as my avatar ... )
-
Fuck, the creature is back. Damnit! Fine! I'm giving it a 10/10 this time, please, MAKE THE DEATH STARE STOP!

Decided to get this based on sanahtlig's review. It's actually not bad. I'm enjoying it so far. That is true, and it is a concern I have as well. More variety in the character designs would benefit them greatly. It does seem like the characters have a bit more unique personalities, instead of the same one repeated over and over, which is a decent step forward. (I do still recognize a few similarities in certain characters and lines from Sakura Fantasy though, so it's not quite there yet.) It baffles me that they didn't get voice actresses for this one, considering they have been adding voices to their previous games. I guess it could have been outside their budget, considering this game is actually quite long. Hopefully they make a patch for it like they have done with games in the past. I'd say give it a go if you like dungeon crawlers. The game is definitely on a different level from the previous Sakura games. It's obviously by no means a masterpiece, but it is nice to see Winged Cloud improve.
