  1. Why play a dungeon crawler with some boring boobs, when you can play a dungeon crawler with yuri rape! https://vndb.org/v158
  2. So I just finished speaking to someone about this, and I figured I'd bump this thread in case someone else from Norway or a country with similar laws ask themselves the same question. The very simple answer, which most people probably saw coming, is: don't buy physical games like this if you live in a country like Norway. The chances of the games actually being discovered and instantly branded as illegal are very slim, however generally speaking, material such as Euhporia and BBH are indeed put under a category of illegal porn in Norway, and CAN lead to punishment, either in the form of fines or something more serious. The chance of games like this being treated the same way as actual, "real" illegal pornography is very small, but it is there, and if the more strict people in the justice system finds out, well... RIP. Even digital versions of the games can be handled in the same way, though that is even less likely. Point is, actually importing games like these is pretty much playing with fire. You probably wont get caught, but if you DO get caught, then it's your own ass on the line. The actual law puts the illegal porn into two categories, nr.1 being an absolute no no, including sex with children, corpses and animals, and the other category is rape, voilence etc, which is more of a "you really shouldn't own or watch this, and we CAN punish you for it." There are "loopholes" I guess, which is roleplay, completely fictional material etc, but even then, the law itself is very vague, and doesn't specify whether it is talking about fictional material or not, and so once again it will come down to how strict the people who are handling your case are. Making a solid defense would be kind of hard, and it would be mostly based around exactly what the material is used for, (for example, the fact that it is in a game surrounded by real plot might make it a bit less serious.) Anyways, yeah, that's about it. I am at least glad that I have this sorted out, so I know exactly what is and isn't legal in Norway for the future.
  3. Scrolling down just to look at the score doesn't feel the same anymore... Anyways, nice review The game looks pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of otome games, but if I'm ever gonna try one out, this does sound promising.
  4. https://vndb.org/v18077 ... I bet no one saw this coming
  5. @Nosebleed I just got my Citrus books. They are beautiful Can't wait to read these.
  6. Oh wait, I missed @Fred the Barber's birthday?! Sorry man, I suck Altough it's a little late, gratz! Hope you had a good one. (In my defense, that day was the same as my math exam so ... )
  7. Mangagamer's policy is: 1) You can stream their content, granted it is not archived or saved in any way. 2) You CAN record gameplay of their titles, up to a grand total of 20% for titles without demos, either split over different short clips, or over one sitting, however an entire let's play is not allowed. You can record an entire demo though. (You can also use footage from a game for things such as reviews etc, as long as there are no major spoilers.) The thing they don't want is story spoilers to the title. You are allowed to make money from videos / streams showing their games, as long as the criteria above is met. How harsh they actually enforce this, I don't know, but that's their rules at least. (Keep in mind that this is Mangagamer's view on it, not the creators of the game itself. That's why they also have this listed on their site:) "Disclaimer The above is MangaGamer's policy on streaming and uploading video. The individual policies of our Japanese partners take precedence where our partners choose to enforce them, so some videos may be subject to take down requests issued by our partners."
  8. It looks nice, I'm backing it.

  15. Ahh my yuri My sweet, sweet yuri Damn you Valmore!
  16. True. I am not. Next person believes in ghosts.
  17. Well if all we are going by is "nice art" "released after 2010" "romance/ h-scenes" there is a LOT to pick from. There is a lot of good stuff above, so I'm just gonna throw out some stuff that the others probably would never recommend Sacrament of the Zodiac (yuri) It's kinda short, and it's nothing special, but the game is rather cute at times and the art is quite good. Lilium x Triangle (Yuri) kind of a nukige type game, though it is filled with moe and adorableness. I mean, what more do you need Sunrider Academy (OELVN) Believe it or not, it's actually quite enjoyable. Many people hate on OELVNs, but I do recommend giving this a try if you want something a little bit different. (Turn the game to waifu mode to avoid annoying RNG.) It is a dating sim, so although the primary aspect of the game is VN like interactions, there is some "gameplay" ish elements, where you maintain your character's daily life, keeping him from failing his exams and making sure he does his job on the student council. The heroines (except Ava) are quite interesting, and the art is really pretty. There are some hilarious moments in the game. You should go ahead and make that VNDB page so we can see what you have and haven't played.
  18. You are the creator of the Sakura games! Admit it!
  19. Guh ... This just reminds me that I still haven't played the main game It's just sitting there on my shelf, looking at me with judgmental eyes Gotta get around to that soon.
  20. Is it true that Danes can't understand their own language?

  22. Dergonu

    Kusoge

Wow, looking at the pictures from this gave me cancer. (I have to play this at some point)
  23. They have indeed started to move towards bigger nukige titles. I personally have nothing against the smaller ones, (I am one of those people who buy most of them ... ) Seeing as they have started releasing a bunch of physical copies, (which they already said is based 100% of sales, so clearly a lot of their new, big titles sell well,) I'd imagine they don't really feel the need to spam a lot of small nukige to rake in the cash anymore. They will most likely continue to focus on bigger titles, and move the smaller nukige releases to the side. Though a few here and there is still to be expected I would imagine. (I hope they do continue with some, like the entire Sono Hana series. Please MG. Please, make yuri fans across the world happy )
  24. Alright. For me it has to be: 1) Fuguriya/ Sei Mikaeru Joshi Gakuen, because Sono Hana. The games might not be the best plot wise, but for a dirty old Yuri fag like myself, they are great. Nuff said 2) Clock Up. I wasn't really sure what to expect when I first started playing Euphoria, and it just blew my mind. After that I have played some of their other games, and loved them. They make a lot of dark stuff, which I like, the art in most of the games is really great, (Maggot Baits art = porn in itself,) and the games have good writing. They take their games very seriously, both in the art departement and the story departement, despite the fact that many might brand the games as disgusting and worthless nukige at first glance. 3) I'd have to say Navel, mainly because I just love the Shuffle! series, and those games were one of the reasons why I got into VNs. I love their art style and their characters, (despite the fact that they all look the same ) Shuffle! Wasn't the first eroge I played, but it was the first one I actually heard about, quite some time ago now, so when I started playing VNs I quickly jumped into it and loved it. Their games might not be uber deep or anything, but I really enjoyed the ones I have played. Hard to name just 3, but those are some of my favorites at least.
