Here's another preview I can't seem to find outside of twitter. It's from AnimeJapan 2016, or somewhere, I don't really know. I can't seem to find it in their website. https://twitter.com/ao25ume/status/713654680979542016 You might wonder what that music is in the background. From my understanding, it's the OP for this anime, which you can find here, god only knows where they got it (Image/thumbnail is from Ace Attorney 6, the game): This OP might be incorrect, or total misinformation, but that's fine. It's airing tomorrow, all will be clear then. Speaking of AnimeJapan 2016, the presentation I referred to earlier, there's some other images you can find in this blog post, by scrolling down. You might wonder where I'm getting all this information from? Mostly from this dedicated user who has been hunting for information everywhere. Good on him.

I am sick of you all hating on the Sakura series.
Mr Poltroon replied to InvertMouse's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Without any irony, here I was thinking I'd found someone who doesn't hate on the Sakura titles by default. More specifically, the ones by Winged Cloud. Unfortunately, it seems I was mistaken and my inferior opinion will continue to be puny, and hidden away in a dark corner. -
Funniest visual novel you have played?
Mr Poltroon replied to Dark_blade64's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I love comedy. One of the main draws to the media, actually. I enjoy many sorts of comedy, although not all. Here are some of my preferred examples - that is, VN's which I recall for the comedy, and not some other aspect: First, the most recent in memory, the one I'm playing right now: One Thousand Lies - The characters cannot spend two minutes without spewing something nonsensical, cynical, hyperbolical, or metaphorical, all of these hilarious. In fact, I've been spending the whole VN alternating between laughing out loud and chuckling to myself as I read it. My favourite moments are when the protagonist slams the door and by doing this locks the apartment owner outside her apartment, which he had broken into, and various moments in the desk-sled race - the ending, specifically. If you haven't read it this makes no sense, but that's fine. Grisaia no Kajitsu - This VN is one of the most hilarious VN's I have ever read. Much like the one above, I spent the entire common route either laughing or grinning to myself. The main difference is how much content said common route had, well over 10 hours, if not 20 or even 30. I played it too long ago, and can therefore not quote any specific examples by heart. Steins;Gate - This one wasn't funny the whole way through, it was only funny when it tried and when it did, I laughed. Out loud. Really loud. Examples are Okabe's voice when his logic is shown to have a hole, for instance. He goes from his usual, fake, deep, shouting voice to a really frail one. Any Key VN besides Rewrite - This may not be completely and entirely true, but I've found that VN's by Key have hilarious common routes. I loved them to bits and they make me laugh every time. Included in this category is also One ~A Radiant Season~ by mostly the same people in a previous company. What I can't include here is Rewrite, because I found that the humour changed. It was... different. Not what I'd call 'Key Comedy'. Examples are just about any stupid exchange the protagonist participates in. Rewrite - Of course, that doesn't mean it's bad. Hilarious in it's own way is the protagonist's randomness, stubbornness, childishness and many other less than respectable -nesses. Mostly goes away when it gets serious, sadly, but that's pretty much the norm. Example's are interactions with Yoshino and the video in his honour. Interactions with Akane have their own funny charm. Kotori goes along with the protagonist's BS making a wonderful duo. Etc. etc. Majikoi - Comedy based on an incredibly large cast with diverse personalities and their interactions. Incredibly over the top. There's always some new situation or some new interaction to find, breathing life into the comedy constantly. Iffiest entry on this list because I like it for reasons other than comedy - mostly how it's used to set the tone of the rest of the genres, action and etc. Sharin no Kuni - Comedy revolves around the protagonist and how his logic patterns may or may not work. While we try to figure him out, we spend most of the time laughing at how he seems entirely bonkers half the time. My Girlfriend is the President - Different from some other entries in this list in that its main purpose, is, without a doubt, comedy. Key, Grisaia, Steins;Gate and Sharin no Kuni have other things prepared later down the line. Majikoi has too many genre's, though it can be said it keeps a comedic tone. My Girlfriend is the President, however, is not only a kind of parody, it never leaves the completely comedic tone all the way through. The dramatic sections are anything but, focusing instead on making it hilarious. Rance Games - These ones also keep a comedic tone, depending on whether or not you can believe that rape can have a light-hearted tone. The protagonist's stubbornness, lecherousness and self-importance, as well as the beyond wacky characters, all coupled with fully fleshed gameplay make for a distinctly comedic gameplay title. -

2/3 - Not particularly fond of how the hair makes the upper part of her face darker and shadowy. Makes it feel like that's a fake smile or that she's actually evil. For a more detailed score: 1324/1625

I think I've found something off in one of the scenes, although I may absolutely be mistaken. Ziva asks for one of the innocent souls to accompany her, to which Luce agrees, and then Claire says that. Frankly, I found it to be slightly incompatible with her personality as we know it, and even stranger when she's pushed/pulled in order to follow them, showing some unwillingness. Cheating, I decided to take a look at the Spanish version, and although I'm no expert, I think the meaning may have gotten slightly twisted here. "Would one really be enough...?" implies she thinks it isn't enough, which in turn, given her status, implies she's offering to go with them. Being slightly anti-social and having to be pulled in order to accompany them, this wouldn't make sense. Consider "Wouldn't one be enough...?"; Here she shows unwillingness. She thinks it's good as it is and that she doesn't need to go with them. Of course, she's forced to anyway, hence the pushing. ...I think. I may have interpreted both the Spanish and the situation incorrectly, and I apologise if I did, although no real harm has been done.- 75 replies

Where best to go to report any sort of typo? For now, I'll just leave them in this post: I was worried I wouldn't find anything wrong with the... translation? Writing? Nevertheless, the old typo never disappoints. Assuming I didn't mess up my versions, this should be 1.2. Recived is misspelt, received is not. EDIT: Here's an iffy line. Or maybe I just don't get it. Too many plans for me. I don't get if he's planning on planning something or if he had it all planned out just according to keikaku. EDIT 2: Might be slip-up, a typo, or nothing. The last line starts lower cased. Or maybe it's missing the stating "A"? Or maybe none of these things. You tell me. Besides that, bloody hell, this has been brilliant. I'll continue to play through it, in delight.- 75 replies

I don't know if what I want to say constitutes as spoilers, or even if I'm correct in what I'm saying, but what you say keeps making me think you're looking at Okabe in entirely the wrong light. Or maybe I'm the one who's confused. Maybe someone else who's already finished can tell me if it's spoilers, or if I'm just plain wrong. -
Yes. Rather unfortunate that I'm under the impression I shan't enjoy this when I do try it. Eventually. ...It's even got a sizeable demo for me to get a feel for. I really might just try it out.

@Shikomizue - What the hell's with your voice, man? I'm fond of you, but for some reason, I don't quite know why, I seem to have you pegged for being a bit thick or slow. I think it's because you're one of those people that let me win or can't be bothered to fiercely fight back when we start an exchanging of ripostes. But I really do like you, because I like people who like me (clearly superior taste) and I believe you like me. Most of what I said here applies to @KosakiFag, except the voice and except that I barely interact with him. Once every couple of weeks, at the most? And @Cyrillej1, too. What the heck have you guys been doing? Getting lives? @babiker - It's because I don't remember. You were one of the first members I was really fond of. That's all I remember. I don't remember why, or how, or anything at all. I keep making a point of reading everything you post in case it sparks my memory. So let's put it like this: I liked you, but I don't remember why. By that logic I shouldn't like you any more, but you haven't done a single thing that'd make me dislike you, so in all technicality I'm neutral with a positive bias. Or something. I was guessing most people would mistake sanah's for Steve's, BUT SINCE NOBODY TRIED TO DO THE EGG, I HAVE NO IDEA. I didn't quite get if by being on the egg you wanted my opinion...? The people who I put on the egg were completely random. For instance, I haven't interacted with shcboomer. In fact, from my point of view he's more of an urban legend or something, hardly ever seen him. @LiquidShu - I seem to remember liking you, and I certainly think you're nice. Your previous Yuuji avatar's probably helped. I think you were in a similar position to @Fred the Barber, I occasionally chatted with you on some random Coliseum of Chatter thread and I came to find out our tastes were rather compatible. Kept an eye on your posts since and that's about it. With Fred it went a bit further in that he's more talkative than you are, so I see him more often, interact with him more often, but I'm fond of both. Presuming you're asking me for my opinion, I'll give it to you. @Kurisu-Chan - Always had some issues understanding your English. C'mon, how many years have you been on this forum? You gotta English better than that by now, surely? I remember being rather fond of you, back when we interacted often in the Unlimited Chatter Works thread and later, Fuwachat. You also seem to have a bit of a short fuse, or if not, occasionally you blow up. I'm terrible with that kind of people. Somehow, completely unbeknownst to me, my words only seem to aggravate said people further. These days I'm more or less neutral, but when I very very rarely pop into Fuwachat, I'd rather x100 you were there than some random folk I don't know. <3~ Or something. Sheesh. Keep at it. Yes, one of those seldom games where most stuff went smoothly. I remember it had something to do with you. I don't remember what, but I do remember you were the first to completely identify the people on the egg. Since then I haven't seen much in the way of people trying it out. -

May I ask, for curiosity's sake, what you did have in mind? It's precisely as you say. The only reason my comment seems so negative is because of that high standard I formed of you by myself. Had that not been formed, you'd be firmly within the "Neutral Scum" category. Even now I don't hold anything against you or dislike you. I'm just disappointed in the ideal image I'd formed of you, which then went *poof*, sadly. Even so, it's still not your fault. As I said, you were corrupted. Not a voluntary choice. I ask you, however, not to try to accommodate me. Most people probably prefer you as you are, and a person is always best while being themselves, even if I happen to hate their self. Replying to sanahtlig at a later date. Expect a sizeable post, probably in an entirely different thread. Or I could take this to PM. -
Mr. Poltroon's Celebratory Easter Guess Who Game

That sounds like a great idea! In other to be completely fair I've made a list of every single member on this website and numbered them. Next, I've brought up a random number generator to decide who to get a gift for. As it turns out, my name came out! Entirely randomly and fairly. Guess I'll have to buy myself a gift them. Oh, of course I count.! I used a random number generator and I'm a person on the internet. That absolutely makes me a "random person on the internet". Ah, curse my short attention span! I didn't get to read the bolded statement before buying myself a gift. I guess it's too late now. As for those extra years, feel free to have them! I always give to the needy, and you clearly look like you need as many extra years as you can get, at this point. I won't elaborate too much, but I'm mostly referring to how Sekai, to the most part, isn't looking to cater to the Eroge Fanbase at all. They're trying to get the steam crowd, a perfectly valid target, and most of those care not for H-Scenes (and would actually be repulsed by them... probably, I don't really know). This present Fuwa loves their H-Scenes. How dare Sekai put the H-Scenes on the backburner?! How dare they make an All-Ages version for those who prefer one?! In a different topic, how dare they use kickstarter as a method to gauge interest! Those bastards who keep reinvesting their money and then making kickstarters. They must be filthy rich by now, greedy rascals. I'm exaggerating, of course. Even from my point of view I think Sekai's business decisions are not always sound, but I'm wholly against how everyone around here seems to hate on them or their kickstarters. Nobody's managed to convince me they truly are evil incarnate yet. I just think it's too easy convincing me. Every argument I get into I find myself agreeing to the other side's point of view or just saying "Well, that's subjective, so I can't really deny it.". I never get anywhere when I argue. I will keep it in mind that I should maybe think about getting into an argument sometime, although I wouldn't hold my breath. Unlike you, I don't go on the internet in scholarly pursuit of knowledge or enlightenment. -

All people that came crying to me about not having my opinions written about them will get them tomorrow. Including Shiko. Excluding Valmore, who will get it right now. @Valmore - I initially had you pegged for a helpful, responsible person. You certainly seemed like you were interested in helping people and stuff when I first saw you. Your backstory? Very moving. Then I disappeared as I tend to do and when I came back I see the you now... Reminds me of that Tay bot. Corrupted, completely, probably because of that Confessions thread. Now you're one of those rubbish meme posters I don't care much for. Not just memes. Like, the stuff you say, these days, doesn't really interest me in the slightest. I'd chime in with my opinions on controversial stuff, but... like... I don't think I have the guts to go around defending Sekai, for instance, in this particular VN forum. We're, like, the opposite of their target audience most of the time. Other instances of discussions I could get into I just don't have anything useful to contribute. I'm not a very opinionated person. In fact, it's very easy to influence me. I keep changing sides during most discussions I see, and then never reach any conclusion. I think that's called not thinking for yourself, not really sure. The main reason, though, is because I decided getting emotionally invested on the internet is simply not worth it. I've got a real life to deal with. I go on the internet to relax, not the direct opposite. See the whole loligeddon issue? Shaved years off my life, and I didn't even contribute much! (Okay, maybe a bit, via PM's to various people, trying to keep people together, and failing, RIP Stray) As for the image, I've found that these days I spew much less vitriol than I used too. I've become both more pretentious and nicer. Not sure I care much for have a 'nice' image, but I certainly dislike offending other people, so what can I do. In light of all this, I've been looking for images that are representative of this change, like this particular one. Er... I presume you're talking about yourself? Anyway, yes, the VN character certainly seems like a really good one. I'll eventually make a thread on this topic, so wait until then for me to elaborate. -

I'm almost sorry about being myself. Some people are terrible like me. I suggest not associating with any such individuals. But really, I don't do it on purpose, most of the time, and I certainly don't mean to piss people off. Thinking about it, I think I teamed up with you and Zaka for one of Ren's few successful games, and we were fine back then. No real conflict. -

Welcome to Milesy Farm, where I wonder how Flutterz managed to zoom that far back. My opinion of the game is that it's cookie clicker, where you work like there's no tomorrow to make money, so you can use up the money to get more work and make more money. It's also a waste of time. This game is on the bad side of addiction.
