Favorite BGM/soundtrack of a Visual Novel
littleshogun replied to Exult's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Just had sudden thought to post it here (Maybe some member already posted it in the past), but sometimes I leave Youtube tab on my browser open and Youtube automatically played this. Quite catchy if I said. Here's Quantum Jump Full Version from Marika (Furureba VN opening song). -
How about bakso here (Called meatball in English), which Obama said it was one of his favorite childhood food when he came to Indonesia. And for one more food, here's mie ayam (For description, we had noodle with some chicken and vegetable on top of the noodle, and we usually eat it with clear broth). I think if I found some good image, I'll post more here. Oh, and by the way for more trivia both of those food were street foods here.

I see. Nice top three by the way, and thanks for your reply earlier. Since you talked about your favorite VN here, if Haruka wasn't your taste, maybe Ayakashibito and Tokyo Babel would be good for you. The reason I recommended those because the writer of those 2 games was the same as assistant writer for Princess Waltz, Higashide Yuuichirou. And speaking about VN writer, since you mentioned Remember11, maybe I/O and Root Double could be good if you interested because those 2 games had same director as Remember11 writer, Nakazawa Takumi. But if you already play those that's okay though. Other than want to post recommendation here, I think I didn't had any question. And hope you could try my recommendation above.

Let me try answer your question here. For Aselia, actually JAST and Steam version was come from fan translated version. For a little history lesson, according to VNDB it was already translated back at 2010 and from there they decided to work together with JAST in order to get it officially released. And the rest is history. In regard of the reason why they translated all age version, I believed it's more likely in regard of the all age version that they translated was had more polished interface and had new content compared to 18+ version before instead of loli issues (Actually, the Steam version was PS2 to PC port of Eien no Aselia, while Xuse was just managed to add PS2 port version the H-Scenes after the translation was finished). As what you missed in all age version, it was some H-Scenes and the evil route when MC was raping all of the spirit. Other than that, maybe sanahtlig here could explain more. I think it was very possible if you play Seinarukana without playing Aselia first, and in fact if you didn't had enough time might as well did that. Although if you played Aselia you may realized some connection in regard of one character at Seinarukana though (Once again if you really want to support Seinarukana, just support it and I think there's enough spoiler if you search enough on internet regarding the connection between Aselia and Seinarukana). Hope my answer here was helpful to you.

Okay, congratulations on your 1000th post here, Novel21. As for question, ever you read any VN with machine translation ie using ATLAS or text hooker? If yes, maybe I could recommended a VN that better than Princess Waltz imo. If now, well that's okay too. Oh, and if you willing to read many sex scene, maybe I could recommended Beat Blade Haruka here. Anyway, once again congratulations here and hope we could meet each other here more often.

Root Double - Can't start over with clean slate...
littleshogun replied to Hackrabbits's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
I see. So the problem was from Steam, eh. To be honest I'd rarely use Steam, so this is my first time to hear about cloud saving feature. Anyway, to OP if after you delete your save file and did kilicool64 suggestion before delete save file, and your old save file still exist, well I couldn't help you. Sorry if I didn't could help you earlier, but hopefully your problem was solved here. -
How do you clear the save data in Comyu?
littleshogun replied to Mugi's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
Looks like all of the reply above didn't give the exact location there, so I'll give the exact location. Anyway, if your OS was Windows 7, Comyu save location should be at Documents folder. If you checked Documents folder and you already played Comyu, there's should be a folder with name 暁WORKS. Delete the folder to clear your Comyu save data. Maybe bigfatround0 already give the solution back at reddit, but I'll post this just in case some other member here didn't knew where's Comyu save data location. Hope this help if you still didn't know. PS - My OS was Windows 7. I didn't knew about Windows 8 or 10 though, but if your OS was 8 or 10, maybe you could search the computer using keyword I gave earlier (暁WORKS) to locate save file. -
For nitpicking first, what's with the title (I mean histories). And yet the content was too different from the title. Oh well. Anyway, as forthe for recommendation, I searched at VNDB and it gives many result so I'll divided it based on your wish. For villainous heroine, Saya no Uta should be good. Maybe I/O and Rewrite would be good for you too. Yandere heroine, how about Duel Savior, Fate Stay Night, and Tsukihime here. Although the VNs here may overlap with villainous heroine tag at VNDB. For heroine with psychological problem, maybe Sharin and Grisaia no Kajitsu would be good for you. Okay, I think all of those VN was actually well known one, and if I may ask did you play those VN. If yes, then could you make the VNDB list to made it easier to give recommendation. And if you still didn't play those VN, had fun for playing those VN. Hope my post here helpful.

Maybe I didn't met you often here, but regardless happy birthday @GetterEmperor (Although in your location may still too early though).

Welcome to Fuwanovel, and hope you had fun here. By the way, could you please tell me what kind of VN that was good for you (Translated of course). Don't worry if your taste was different from most of the user here. Hope you enjoyed yourself here. PS - I didn't knew about Seven web novel, but at least I knew that Charlotte Dunois was from Infinite Stratos anime and was voiced by Hanazawa Kana aka HanaKana here.

See the video, and well the puzzle was resemble Huniepop except apparently we didn't had mana sentiment, so we couldn't cast some magic give a date gift to the girl when dating to made the date easier. For the seiyuu 6 out of 8 heroines were had same seiyuu (Ichigo Momoi, Himari, and Misonoo Mei was had double role here). Although it should be not a problem here if we look at Huniepop, because each heroine in Huniepop barely interact with each other. Other than the gamelay, we apparently had usual VN system ie choice and we'll unlock CG if we successfully manage to gather 5 love point. I bet it'll be raised each time a date was successful, and the CG was probably HCG from Innocent Girl and Pure Girl. I think that's all I could say for this game.

Tried using Google Images, and find out that the picture was from Maikaze no Melt VN. Oh, by the way the girl above actually was deity according to VNDB, and here's her info thanks to VNDB. Hope this help.

Dharker Studios is planning to make 8 games this year?
littleshogun replied to jetpack003's topic in Visual Novel Talk
My comment, okay will they crowdfunding 'Sakura Bounce' next time for joint project between Dharker and Winged Cloud. Or will Dharker make title like 'Bastard Bounce', 'Badass Bounce', or 'Bookworm Bounce' next time (Note that AJ using initial BB for their 9 spinoff). Looks like it'll be interesting, and by the way right now they managed to gather 32,407 poundsterling. PS - My real reaction would by okay, whatever ie didn't care much aboout this KS. -
Piss off Fuwanovel in one sentence
littleshogun replied to Nosebleed's topic in The Coliseum of Chatter
My English was very bad and I even didn't understand Japan much yet, but at least I knew that Tokyo Babel translation was had some problem ie suck. -

Go Go Nippon: My First Trip to Kyoto Review
littleshogun posted a blog entry in Pretty Cure on Fuwanovel
Visual Novel Translation Status (06/18/2016) As for the title because this week VN from VNTS Image header was had same premise as Go Go Nippon, only we going to Kyoto instead of Tokyo, I'd use the title Go Go Nippon and for the expansion we had My First Trip to Kyoto because the VN Setting was in Kyoto. This week, to be honest it was quite plain if we looking from the progress that Decay made. But from Steam we had many exciting announcement from there. First, we had KARAKARA demo release, which to be honest I'm still not playing it yet (I'll write my impression later). Second we had Meikyuu release announcement next week, which should be enough if you looking forward to Yuuji story (If not enough ie want to see more H-Scenes, well too bad you must wait for a while). For last announcement, we'll had Muv Luv released at July 14th. My question is will they using new opening or not, other than that I think it's quite redundant release imo because we already had this translated some times ago. But if some of you want to read Muv Luv using new translation, go ahead and you may looking forward to July 14th. For Sekai, the progress here was good in some VN, while we also had questionable progress like Maitetsu (Decreasing? What's happened here). As the roundup, Darekoi was had the biggest jump here (From 79% to 90.01%), while for Love, Guitar, and Nashville it was at 77.7% (Lucky number here). I'd checked Nashville and it was another yuri VN, and speaking about yuri VN, this week we had Highway Blossom released. As for more interesting project, looks like Sekai willing to update Tenshin Rahman and Chrono Clock regularly (This week both of the progess was at 29.99% and 19.19% respectively) so I'll keep my eyes on those two from now on. For last progressedps, we had 2236 at 62.77% translated and WEE Episode 3 at 97.15% translated. I think that's all for Sekai (KARAKARA and Meikyuu was already covered in previous paragraph). Since I'd already covered Muv Luv, for other segment first update we had Corona Blossom Chapter 1 was funded at 22,087 of 30,000 (Almost three quarter funded) with 2 weeks left. And for Hakuai, too bad that they need delay the release, but if they need that to fix the translation can't be help here I guess (Hopefully it could satisfy Zakamutt who find the initial Hakuai translation was disappointing). For last update, we didn't had Libra update, but Mikandi promised us that they'll give update 2 weeks each (Just like Mangagamer), and by the way they tell us that they often need to beg the translator to move faster. Oh, and they assured us that they were on schedule for the release. Let's see it later. From Mangagamer, we had surprise Tatarigoroshi release from them. As for next chapter, hopefully Mangagamer didn't take too long for releasing Himatsubushi, which is the shortest chapter in Higurashi. I'm waiting for Tatarigoroshi mod by the way. Forother announcements from them, wait for next week. Finally, for fan translation, we had usual progess here, although our Arcadeotic this time was managed to give us update for Bishoujo Mangekyou at the beginning of this week (8th script was 81% translated, and overall translation progress was at 97%. Also right now it was 18% edited). Tsui Yuri, this week we didn't had translation progress (But if you really need translation progress, Dergonu said he managed to translate 30 lines iirc) but we had major bump in editing from 8% to 29%. For Majokoi, we had 12% translation progess and apparently they planning to release prologue patch. Speaking about Majokoi translation group (Luna Translation), they add another project here although I didn't do enough research right now other than there's a 15% translated patch for this VN (Oh, the VN was Musumaker). And for Nursery Rhyme, according to the thread it was updated back at January before this update (Right now it was 56% translated). I only knew that this VN was came from same company as Tayutama for now. Koiken Otome, thanks Decay for give the progress because I just knew it. Anyway, for Koiken Otome right now it was at 92.38% QC-ing, and hopefully they managed to fight the DDoS attack that caused the project lead delay the release (According to the post, supposedly this patch will be released at June 5th, but because there was some troll had grudge against some community, he decided to attacking server that host the community by DDoS, and unfortunately Koiken Otome server was the same server as targeted one). For last update (Astral Air), looks like this time Supreme Tentacle was prove us that what Chuee promised will come true (Translation will picked up in summer). I knew that there's still some QC left, but hopefully it'll take no long time and if possible we had it released this year. As for the progress, it was 3.88% jump from last week (Will we see 4% jump I wonder), bringing Astral Air to 88.83% translated. For this week, I think that's all for my review and sorry if I miss some. See you next week. PS - Congratulations on English patch release from big breast nukige 'Kimonen demo Harem Guild', Quof. And if some reader like big breast, go get the patch and play it. PPS - Add one more progress here. For Hanasaki, right now they had Hikari's route translated at 12% progress. -
I'm very bored, and suddenly I got the idea. The idea would be how about some member here tell his/her story about their current avatar or if it's from anime tell us who is the character and from what anime. Of course if you take it from VN, you should tell what VN and the character is. Let me start from mine as example here. About mine, the character name was Nadja Applefield from 2003 anime Ashita no Nadja. The story was very simple from the premise. It was like our heroine Nadja here thought she was orphan, until she find a clue of the possibility if her mother was still alive, and from there she was going on a journey to find her mother. Well, had fun here and if your avatar was your creation, tell us about it here. PS - If this thread was not fitting here, any mod may move it to the Coliseum of Chatter section, and if in the past there's already this kind of thread, any mod may joined this thread with old thread.
-
Sorry, just wake up and right now browsing from my tab, so I mistook your avatar by scary instead of broody (Then again, after looking it carefully your avatar wasn't scary). Okay, and about Daphne, is she from your game, and which game. Maybe you could tell us more here, so I could understand what kind of game it is.
-
Welcome to Fuwanovel, and for your project good luck I guess. Although I didn't knew much about narrative game though. Hope you'll enjoy yourself here, and if you want to know more about manga and anime, don't hesitate to ask us here. If not, hopefully we'll find some common ground eventually just like you said. PS - Your avatar was quite scary I think. But no problem though, just want to tell my opinion here.

Can NEKOPARA be turn into a long running series?
littleshogun replied to Nekolover's topic in Visual Novel Talk
If you want serious answer, maybe it'll be 4 games if the developer also interested to developed incest route here. If not, well it'll be just 3 games here. And for 3rd game premise, it'll most definitely featuring Cinnamon and Maple pair as main focus. Oh, and since you ask opinion, I think unless the writer willingly put some dramatic storyline or some heavy conflict beyond usual one, I don't think Nekopara could last more than 3 volume imo. -
Cheating, well I think for all of gameplay VN I'd never use that. Also with some games that I played on my PS2. The last time I cheat in the game it was when I played Pokemon Blaze Black (Pokemon Black mod, which severely increasing game difficulty), and it was only to allow me to get certain pokemon starter more easily. Other than that, no cheating if the definition of cheating in game was to get all goods in first few minutes of the game.

Since either answer will came true, so I'll say false here. But for the answer it's true. Next person would be like watching musical performance, especially classic one (I'm not by the way).
-
Nice velociraptor, although it looks like duck a little bit imo. So maybe 6.5 out of 10.
-
Nope, so false. Next person was looking forward to Dangan Ronpa double anime this summer.

Hmmmm....... quite a challange here. As for recommendation, if I may force you maybe Natsuyume Nagisa once again. Okay, since you willing to compromise for sex scene, maybe Flyable Heart. Also Phantom of Inferno, and you better tramslate XBOX 360 port version. The reason I recommended those because Flyable Heart translation was mess (Most importantly to me, the technical issue remain ie small font and nodvd patch support), while Phantom of Inferno was released in English and could only be played using DVD Player (You could play in PC, but the step is complicated). I think that's all the recommendation I could think of. And hopefully if you chose one VN to be translated, it'll be the title that you like. Oh, and if you start the project, better try to recruit staff like editor and programming first.
