    Visual Novel Translation Status Review
Because we have Nightmare x Onmyouji released by Mangagamer and that in Sengoku Rance we have Onmyouji class, I'd change the word 'Onmyouji' into the fan translation of Sengoku Rance for that class (Diviner), so we have 'Nightmare x Diviner' as the title for this week VNTS Review. For this week, compared to the last one it's kind of plain. That said, there still some interesting updates such as Mangagamer bunch of updates and Yuzusoft released trial for Tenshi Re-Boot along with it's 4-koma video (I'll explain why it's worth to mention later). Overall I can say that this week is an average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it.
Shiravune had yet another surprise announcement, although unfortunately it's not Tamayura Mirai or Sacrifice Villain exact release date, but instead it's just Kuroinu Redux in which from what I see it's the improved version of Kuroinu that Mangagamer released in the past. Said improvement is done by adding some new contents such as new sex scenes and music mode, so you may pick this if you feel the lack of music mode in Kuroinu bother you. That said, since the improvement is small compared to Utawarerumono 1 remake and that I didn't pick Kuroinu, I'll just say that the release is redundant. If you want to get it later, you may note the release date on May 19th later. Speaking of release, Fakku released My Life as a Cult Leader nukige, with the premise that the MC was randomly picked as the stand-in for sex cult leader, and obviously the MC will enjoy a lot of passionate sex with the cult members which mostly have big breast.
Speaking of cult, Nightmare x Onmyoji is also revolving around the cult who willing to rape any girl that meddle with their demon summoning business, and this time the unlucky girls who about to suffer that fate are Yuka (Again) along with Setsuna (The previous Nightmare series MC) who've been kidnapped by the cult with their new companion Kuon (The titular onmyouji) did her best to rescue those two, although obviously Kuon will also suffer a lot of rapes just like Setsuna. If anything else, the graphic is still good so go get the VN if you're interested with it and have fun.
For the rest of Mangagamer's updates, we have Eve of December is at 90% translated, Funbag Fantasy 4 is at 41.5% along with 38% edited, Rance 03 is at 39% translated along with 14% edited, and Rance X is at halfway translated along with 4.5% edited (Note that the edited progress is regressed from 5%, and the reason is because the finding of bunch new lines). We also have Luckydog update after long time not seeing on it ever since it was announced, and said update is that the translation for it is almost nearly completed. We also have Raillore is still in scripting with additional note that it's almost ready for the testing (So it might be Mangagamer's next release after Lkyt), and last but not the least we finally have Sona-Nyl entering the scripting. Oh yes we have Mangagamer add their secret project, and currently it's been fully translated and edited.
In fan translation section, we have Akagoei FD is at 28.74% edited along with 12.64% in QA, Manakashi is roughly at 66% translated, H2O is at 31.4% edited, Majikoi A-5 is approximately 85% done, Senmomo is at 93.69% edited with side stories is past three quarter (77.92%) edited, and Planetarian Snow Globe is currently in testing and editing work. We also have another nukige from Black Lilith translated, and said nukige is Tsuma Netori with the premise married heroine who is PE teacher in the high school experienced a lot of sexual assaults at school. For the progress, currently it's been at 10% translated. Lastly there's ChuSingura in which currently it's at 20.99% translated with the first chapter was fully translated (For the reminder ChuSingura has five chapters), and that the translator will do some editing works for the next 2 or 3 weeks later before releasing the patch that cover 20.99% of whole ChuSingura.
Yuzusoft did release the trial for their newest VN Tenshi Re-Boot, so you can read the trial if you can read Japanese. Yuzusoft also released 4-koma video for both of main and side heroines, and if you follow their Youtube then you know that the video has English caption with Nekonyan provided it. What I want to say is that it's indicate that Nekonyan will localize Tenshi Re-Boot in the future, so the question is when we can see the announcement in regard of it. There are some more clue that Tenshi Re-Boot will be available in English, but the fact that 4-koma video has English caption is enough proof seeing that Cafe Stella 4-koma video also has English caption.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

    Visual Novel Translation Status Review
    Visual Novel Translation Status (19/11/2023)
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and for the title because both Nine and Criminal Border have same writer and director, I made parody of Nine title by adding 'Liminal' from Liminal Border (Criminal Border English title), so we have 'Liminal Nine' as the title. Also I made the subtitle for each part heroine just like Nine, and the heroine for the first part of Criminal Border is Hina Yorozuya, hence the subtitle. As for this week, the biggest release is obviously Lupercalia following with Hira Hira Hihiru and Criminal Border first part. Other than those three, we also got several other release, but to me those releases are not as interesting as Lupercalia, although some may be think Hirahira Hihiru is a nice VN. Overall this week is almost interesting one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it.
Sekai just released Anima Trail FD, and I can only say that it should be good if you want more good looking magical girls heroines that can turn into the animal tried to do their best in their idol job (At least it's good to see that Sekai backlog decreasing again). age released Muv Luv Teito Muyo, and I only know that it's the prequel of Muv Luv Total Eclipse. That, and also the translator is Daybreak translator who at first got his Schwarzesmarken (Another MLA side story) project was C&D-ed by age, so good for the translator he got the chance to officially translate one of age VN. For Hira Hira Hihiru, once again it's about Japan in Taisho era suffer a disease that caused people to become zombie. Apparently the reception is quite good, so feel free to try if you're interested.
We have two new VN from the new publisher, and the first one is Knight Case File with the premise is about the male knight who was tasked to investigate the circumstance involving a female alchemist and fake duke daughter. No much info I can dig other than it'll be available on January 2024 later. The second one is Shinjuku Soumei in that we have known name working on it, Kataoka Tomo (Narcissu's writer) and Sumeragi Kohaku (Nanairo Reincarnation's artist). The premise is about the MC who can hear voice of the dead because he store his soul somewhere else had done his job, namely do the dangerous funeral, which obviously mean it'll have supernatural element. In case you want to play it, you may wait until the release on February 2024 later. In case you've been waiting for new GL VN from sprite (Everlasting Flowers), it's mentioned that it'll be released on June 27th later so you can note the date if you want to play it later.
Actually besides released Criminal Border, Shiravune also announced their new license, although it's not what people look forward into much. Said new license is Kagura Genesis Kuon Story, in which it's the VN from Debo no Su with them usually have the shrine maiden MC fighting the monster with the penalty is that the MC will be raped if she lost, and looking from Kuon it seems no much difference from their usual series. By the way it's still in developed, so if you're looking forward to it you can wait until the release date which will be on January 26th later. For Criminal Border itself, it's about out MC Itsuki who spent his time to make MAD (The name of AMV in Japan). One day Itsuki somehow make a AMV that can aroused anyone else who watch it, and he decided to show it to his childhood friend Rin. Little did Itsuki know back then that Rin has brilliant idea to sell it in the underworld, and Itsuki slowly but surely dragged into the criminal world. For the info, I still say that you may need to get used to the art, especially if you've been getting used to usual Purple Software art. Anyway go get first part of Criminal Border if you're interested, and have fun.
We also have two fan translation releases beside Lupercalia, although both are just either small VN that was released by Shinzou Translation (Rinkaiten no Azrael) or nukige (Oku-sama wa Moto Yariten), so both are overshadowed by Lupercalia (Feel free to try though if you're interested). For the rest of the update, we have Akagoei 3 is at 66.13% translated, ChuSingura is at 33.5% translated, Tsui no Sora Remake is past three quarter (76%) translated along with 63% edited, Tsuma Netori is almost fully translated at 95% translated, and Sora's route of Yosuga no Sora is fully edited with overall is at 64% edited.
Almost forgot to mention that Nekonyan actually has been working on Tenshi Re-Boot ever since it was announced, and now we have it in QA alongside Irotoridori, which mean that all of the translation and editing work should already be at 100%. Speaking of working on, turned out that in 10 months the translator of Lupercalia has been busy with juggling time left him exhausted from the hard work, especially when he's been working on Lupercalia by himself (Which explain that some of the translation can be quite rough for some people). Anyway as for Lupercalia itself, it's about the MC Tamaki who initially scouted by a theater group to do some acting. Although with he has some trauma with acting, he decided to take the job of directing and at least he manage to show his capability on that. It should be mentioned that since this is a VN about theater naturally there are some dramatic scene, and thus the characters did have their own skeleton in the closet. Lupercalia here is one of well received VN from 2021, so if you're interested and didn't mind the dramatic scene (Enhanced by the voice act directing that can be quite impactful) then feel free to try it and have fun.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

    Visual Novel Translation Status Review
Because we have both of Lorena and the Land of Ruins (Controversial) update along with Shiravune announced Dungeon Travelers 2 PC version, I decided to change the word 'Dungeon' with 'Ruin' so we have 'Ruin Travelers 2' as the title (I know that the title is quite plain). Also yes, I know both are not VN, but may as well write about those two in here. Anyway, to be honest I'm about to call this week as a plain one, but thanks to both Shiravune and Nekonyan suddenly give the announcements, I manage to find this week become interesting, although it only apply to the announcements though. That said if you want interesting release, then there's Tsui no Stella leak. Overall, this week is an almost interesting one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it.
Nekonyan announced that there won't be sex scenes in Lorena, and the reasons is because the developer decided to do away with 18+ game and go all age. What I can say is that it definitely resemble several companies who goes all age (ie Laplacian, Pulltop, Harukaze), but unlike those companies in which they decided to remove all of the written sex scenes, Lorena only has MP4 sex scenes video with the sex scenes are only encountered when Lorena lost. While obviously removed content is always sensitive matter, in the end I didn't care much of it when it come to Lorena. Anyway to dilute the censorship controversy here, I should also mention that Nekonyan manage to get Steam store page for Klutzy Cupid was opened (Link to the store page), and they said that it's the fastest wait because they only need for two days to be approved. For the comparison, it could took weeks for games to be approved, so good for them.
Shiravune announced the Dungeon Travelers 2 for PC version, and for the bonus they also announced 2-2 as well. For the premise, it's about the MC Fred who is an adventurers that was dispatched into combating the monster uprising, and for some reasons the monsters are cute girls. Well, Aquaplus is used to be develop several VNs, so it's normal to be like that, especially with the first Dungeon Travelers is a what-if for To Hearts 2 casts when they're in RPG setting. For 2-2, apparently it's more or less the same, expect that it took time after the MC failed to do the quest and lost the battle. It also has controversy, namely that Steam rejected the game. Oh yes, it also has PSV version that was released by Atlus, although it's been censored for the obvious reasons and they didn't localize 2-2.
We have another route for Obedient Women released, and with that it bring nine routes of it all translated. By the way the newest route is about Nagasaki Kotomi, who from what I see is more or less about a married landowner daughter who didn't happy with her arranged marriage had sex with another man, and obviously it lead the wife to have affair. Sugar Sweet Temptation release was delayed to 26th, so obviously we didn't have April release anymore. Speaking of release date, there are four otome VNs release announcements with three of those are from Aksys. For the detail, we'll going to have Charade Maniacs released on June 27th, Jack Jeanne on June 15th, Radiant Tale on July 27th, and Norn9 fandisc on August 24th. Feel free to note the date if you've been waiting for those four otome VNs releases.
From fan translation, we have Shin Koihime Musou is at 65% edited, Yosuga no Sora is at 71% TLC-ed along with 55% edited, Haruka na Sora is at 70% translated and TLC-ed along with 26% edited, Koiyasumi is at 45.91% edited, H2O is at 46.8% edited, Tsuma Netori is at 35% edited, and ChuSingura is at 21.34% translated. Once again if you want interesting release, then there's Tsui no Stella full translation patch leak (Because it was released without permission from the rest of the group), although said patch was pulled out quickly because the editing of it is still not completed with the progress is currently at 20% edited. That said if you can't wait for the official release of Tsui no Stella, then feel free to try the patch. Almost forgot to mention that we have Aojashin restoration patch progress, and the newest patch has 13 out of 17 sex scenes translated.
Other than Dungeon Traveler 2, Shiravune had yet another surprise announcement. Said announcement is Nukitashi, in which if we know is one of VN that Sol Press failed to release. The premise of it is still the same with our MC (Junnosuke) who chose to protect his virginity for his true love thrown into the island where have sex is a necessity, and he decided to organize the rebellion because he didn't like the rules. Also it's use the translation that Ittaku has been working on back when Sol Press still being active to translating VNs, so currently it's been fully translated and edited with the last progress is in QA work. Obviously it mean that it's almost ready for the release, and it'll be available in this year on both Steam (With the contents are apparently only 2 hours for the obvious reason) and Johren.
Last but not the least, Nekonyan announce an unexpected title, although it should be mentioned that it's very unexpected only to anyone else who never following VNs news in the first place. Yes, that title is Tenshi Re-Boot, and Nekonyan basically already indirectly confirmed that they'll localized the newest Yuzusoft VN through several tweets (They mentioned that they translated the 4-koma video and the info of it on VNDB are pulled from their tweets). That said, it's still surprising that they announced it as soon as Japanese version was released back on April 28th. For the premise, it's about our MC Riku who got visited by the angel Noa (One of the heroine), and then Noa reveal that Riku is actually the reincarnation of the Demon King with Noa was tasked to protect Riku. We already have some progress on this, and right now it's been at 10% translated.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

Well since I'd already made two of my top 10 list based on Conjueror's video, might as well goes with the third as well which is based on the video that talk about best rated translated VNs at 2015 - therefore the scoring was already different compared to the video because it was fluctuated. As for the rules, it's still the same though with the most obvious one there will be not yaoi or otome. Also I didn't want to add euphoria here because the sex content was too hardcore, although I might consider that for another list. For VNDB score, I'll list that based on the votes at December 29th 2024. Beware of the spoiler when you playing the opening here, and I'll tell the meaning of the title at PS.
    10. Noble Works (VNDB 7.27, Erogamescape 78)
Also known as Noodle Works back when it was released, although it's obviously meme title lol. This VN was the first VN that break Yuzusoft curse in which in the past there's no known complete translation for the VN from the company, and in turn prove us that it's possible for us to have Yuzusoft VN to be fully translated (They have partnership with Sekai as of now, so there'll be more in the future). The premise was a poor MC with many capabilities met a man who resemble him very much and an ill boy as well, so the MC decided to became the man body double and turn out that the man was a son from a very rich conglomerate. Of course since he spent the time as the very rich boy, he attends the high class school and from there he tried to enjoy his new school life while make sure that his secret as the body double remained secret. I like that Yuzusoft here did have some high production value, especially in regard of the cover songs for the heroines as the promotion in which they keep that tradition for their future VNs.
    9. Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate (VNDB 7.34, Erogamescape 70)
This VN was see very long time of translation since back at 2012, before finally have a sudden release back at 2015. For the premise, it's about the MC and his childhood friend (A female by the way) club which about to be abolished because the club didn't contributed to the school at all, and of course they couldn't accept that. The only solution was to become the student council president, and it's up to MC for becoming one. Since the main focus was the election, there will be some school politic talk so it might be interesting if you like politic. Other thing to note is that the aforementioned childhood friend (Chisato) route was locked first before you could play all of other routes, which seeing that some of the people dislike Chisato at the other girls route it could be interpreted that the writers may didn't have confidence that her route will be be played if the player able to chose any route to play first, so they decided forced the player to play her route first - a decision that cause some divisive opinion for easy word. As for the art, it was quite unique compared to many other VN out there.
    8. Princess Evangile (VNDB 7.34, Erogamescape 69)
Don't be surprised by the Erogamescape score, because sometimes the taste of the VN will be differ between overseas and Japan. I knew that there's some issue in regard of Erogamescape rating, but perhaps Japanese people didn't like Evangile as much as in overseas. As for the premise, once again it's in regard of poor MC who have many capability entering the high class school, only that the school is former Catholic all girl school and the MC was first male student when the school was about to be reformed into mixed school. Of course there would be many discrimination that the MC will be faced, so it's up to him to face the discrimination and hope that he could endure all of it. There's also the matter of infamous headmistress, in which when I saw the writer past work I think it could be attributed to his portrayal of one of the mom back at Suika, although headmistress herself was far saner than the mom though (Hint: The mom at Suika was very crazy). What I could say in regard of this is that back at 2015 I'm surprised that Shimotsuki Haruka sang the opening, although if I see the opening right now maybe it's not surprising anymore.
    7. Ourai no Gahkthun ~What a Shining Brave~ aka Gahkthun the Golden Lightning -What a Radiant Brave- (VNDB 7.45, Erogamescape 81)
The first Sakurai Hikaru Steampunk series to be officially translated, and it's supposed to be hard to translated because her works supposed to have some poetic style. Not that it matter though because more or less we already got three of Steampunk VNs translated (Inganock and Sharnoth was arguably badly translated though), and the fourth work (Sona-Nyl) was in translation right now. As for the premise, our female MC (Neon) was live poorly at the university and she must overworked every time so much she was suffer because of that. To add more her problem it happened that she saw some supernatural battle and about to be silenced, only to be rescued by some handsome man who somehow control a giant robot. One day after that, turn out that the handsome man was Nikola Tesla (The male MC) which is at 72 years old as of the time of the game, and Neon became Tesla's maid because she was bought by Tesla for 30 silver coins. For more info, the VN have usual Steampunk VN style in which Tesla gonna have 'battle of the chapter' format for each chapter, so it might be repetitive for some people. Oh, and as for the name it was quite hard to type to me lol.
    6. Bunny Black (VNDB 7.52, Erogamescape 73)
This VN MC was pretty much an expy of Rance, although by the 2nd VN he was more or less different though because he managed to have good relationship with the woman that he was sexed with. As for the premise, we have our Rance expy MC (Darx) was about to defeat the demon king only to be defeated by the demon king. Took an interest to Darx, she (The demon king is a woman by the way) recruit Darx to became one of her minion. From there, Darx will do many grunts job at first before finally have rise in regard of the rank, and of course fighting the threat that came to the demon king. The VN itself the gameplay VN, and in here you could make the party although you can't control their action though just like Persona 3 - at least they sort of fix the problem in the sequel. What I could say more is that at the beginning it'll be quite hard and you could die if you careless, at least until the mid game in which it became pretty easy.
    5. Eden* They Were Only Two, On The Planet (VNDB 7.60, Erogamescape 80)
The premise of eden was the Earth was about to approach it's destruction because of the calamity that caused by the mysterious red star, and most of Earth population were already migrated to the space leaving handful people stay on the Earth. Our MC here was a capable young soldier (Ryou) who tasked to protect a female artificial human (Sion), who supposed to have very high intelligent. Said artificial human was help the migration to the space, and now that Sion already finished her job she was waiting until Earth's destruction. Seeing that Sion was have an isolated life and want to be free in the last days of Earth, our Ryou decided to help Sion to reach her freedom. As expected from minori the animation was very good, moreso if we looking at the opening which have some good effects. If we asked whether there will be an happy end for this, unfortunately there's none because the Earth was about to approach it's destruction so more or less it's an utsuge. Forget to say that the demo was translated by No Name Loser before they joining Mangagamer.
    4. Rose Guns Days (VNDB 8.18, Erogamescape 81)
While this is another Ryukishi07 work, it won't have many mysterious murders like his previous work (Higurashi and Umineko, or When They Cry for both series) and also it won't be another eight parts of kinetic VN. Instead Rose Guns Days (RGD) itself is just four parts of kinetic VN which set up in an alternative world, with Japanese was divided into the part that was a part of Chinese and a part of American with Japanese people became the minority in their own land, so we'll gonna have to see the struggle of Japanese people - and yes the land of Japan still didn't belong to Japanese themselves even at the present because it was stated at the prologue that one part of Japanese is a part of Chinese. The story was begin back at modern time (Present time) in the prologue, before flashed back to 1947 to 1950 when most of the story take place of.
The main casts are work in a brothel so more or less it could be said that it have underworld setting, in which the story itself could be quite dark and grim for another reason (There'll be some death here as well, only not as often as When They Cry series). Other than that, I admit that RGD sprite was improved compared to When They Cry, although it could be argued that it was because it have multiple actress to draw the characters though. There's still no voice though, so too bad if one want to play it with voice - although it's no problem to me though (I just wonder if Yukari Tamura would voiced Stella though because she's resembled both of Furude Rika of Higurashi and Bernkastel of Umineko). As a bonus, I'll add the second opening here although beware of the spoiler though, especially because it was played at the second half of the last part of RGD.
    3. Maji de Watashi Koi Shinasai (VNDB 8.35, Erogamescape 82)
The premise was very simple, with MC was already be one of seven people group since his childhood and that's about to be change because the group gonna accept two more female into the group. But the main strength of Majikoi was the comedy, which could be quite absurd so much that you're not gonna care about the logic here and just laughing. It also have martial arts setting as well, although it didn't matter anyway since one of the main cast have Story Breaker Power, and therefore we could ignore that setting mostly. For a history in regard of this, it was translated by Takajun (ie Yandere Translations) first before he disappeared back at 2013 after he work at out of five girls route with the fifth route (Miyako's) was at 85% translated. After that, it was picked by one of the user here and from there we saw the progress of Majikoi going steadily, and finally it was released as fully translated patch at March 2015. It'll be officially localized by JAST as well, but seeing that it's JAST and we already have complete translation I could say that JAST announcement in regard of this was pretty much redundant to me. Enjoy the opening below, which is fully animated although there's no special effect like Eden opening though.
    2. Kara no Shoujo 2 (VNDB 8.49, Erogamescape 85)
Unlike Majikoi in which the tone was mostly lighthearted, this VN did have exactly the opposite in regard of the tone - grim and depressing. The beginning was already grim enough with our MC Reiji who work as detective was still couldn't move on from his traumatic event back at first Kara no Shoujo, which is already depressing enough. Here he must have another murder case to contend, this time with another MC Masaki who have some connection with the murder. As for the murder, it's also rumored to have some curse from Masaki's hometown so obviously things not going to be easy for our Reiji. From there, both of Masaki and Reiji work together in order to unfold the murder case, and to find out the truth behind the curse. As for the ending unfortunately it's still quite dark especially at the true end (After all, this VN was called as utsuge for a very good reason), and what's more it's obviously a sequel hook because Innocent Grey was working on Kara no Shoujo 3, so unfortunately Reiji still didn't get the satisfying conclusion. That said, at least the conclusion for Masaki was satisfying enough. Oh, and the demo that was provided was did have different story compared to the main VN, so if possible you should play the demo as well because it was sort of served as the prologue and introduction.
    1. Clannad (VNDB 8.69, Erogamescape 87)
The release year for this quite complicated because we already have this translated at 2012, although it listed as partial release though. We also have Sekai here did release Clannad at 2015 here, and unlike their several releases back then I think it's their best release seeing that the available PC patch did have several problems. For the premise we have Tomoya who have a lot of daddy issue thanks to the abuse, and that he always skip the school. One day in April, Tomoya met with a girl on the way to the school and some time after that the girl introduce herself as Nagisa. From there Tomoya find himself being interested with her, and started to enjoy his school life more. It should also be noted that this is the first KEY VN that was intended as all age VN in the first place, and thus there's no need to make some fuss in regard of the censorship (Because there is none of that). Also Clannad here is one of the most well known KEY VN thanks to the anime adaptation which widely acclaimed as good adaptation, and that is well known as one of the saddest anime although of course it's still not as sad as AIR though.
That's all for my list here, and hope you'll enjoy this. As for my opinion, 2015 was the year when we started to get some interesting VNs from the official company, especially when Sekai announced some interesting VN like Root Double - same goes with Mangagamer in regard of Tokyo Babel. Although in exchange of that, the number of fan translation was goes down compared to back at 2015 to nowadays - which could be argued as most of fan translator already going official. Just my opinion here.
PS - As for the title, since we have Majikoi which have the anime title as 'Majikoi: Oh Samurai Girls' and Kara no Shoujo 2 as the two best VNs of 2015, I decided to add 'Samurai' to 'Kara no Shoujo' so we have 'Samurai no Shoujo'.

    Visual Novel Translation Status Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and for the title because we have Shiravune announced Yakin Byouto remake with the English title 'Night Shift Nurses' along with Kakenuke released in which it has one of the heroine form the club called Volunteer Club, I combined both so we have 'Night Shift Volunteers' as the title. Anyway compared to the last week, this week is definitely more interesting, especially with the aforementioned Kakenuke release. Of course there's also several updates, with the more notable one come from fan translation. On the other hand, there are several delays, with the bigger one is in regard of Kiminozo with it apparently need some more adjustment based on Valve's input. Overall, this week is an interesting one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it.
I'd forget to mention we also have Idea Factory released another of their Switch-only otome game 9 R.I.P., and nice of them to release it in English quickly after it was announced back in April. From what I see, it's about the female MC was stranded into the another world only for her to met several handsome supernatural beings. Well go get the VN if you want to play another otome game in Switch, and have fun. For the delays, we have LingerieS delayed until further notice, Corpse Party 2 delayed to the next year, and Kiminozo was delayed to the unknown date (The store list the release estimation at this month (October)) to adjust Steam version contents based on Valve's input for the rating review or something like that.
Shiravune did announce the remake version of Yakin Byouto, which is not really surprising seeing the company who develop the remake is from the same group as Shiravune. For the VN itself, we'll going to have the MC will took the role as the villain who out to rape the nurses at his hospital. That said there are more than that, especially since the MC doing so after he got some request from his old classmates who also work as the doctor (Even though the MC already set his mind to rape the nurses), and from there we'll going to have simulation gameplay with the player need to go through some steps in order to rape the nurse that the player chose. Well it's the old VN from the defunct Mink which they produce at 1999, so yeah it has simulation gameplay. No release date as of now, but at least I know it'll be available on Steam with Shiravune will cut majority of the contents (Of course there'll be patch to restore the removed contents like usual).
For fan translation, we have Rattanman released the partial patch for Taima Seiko Alice with it's been 70% completed, as in it's been 70% translated, editing, and proofread. Committee of Zero finally have new announcement after a while, with Chaos Child Love Chu Chu editing work is already completed with they working on the porting the game, and for Chaos Head Love Chu Chu currently it's been almost fully translated at 96.98% translated along with the TLC and editing works was past a quarter (25.19%) done. For the rest, we have Sakura no Uta Abend was three quarter done bringing the overall translation work was past a quarter (26%) done along with the overall editing work was 3% done, and Sousaku Kanojo is at 69% translated along with 13% edited. That's all for fan translation updates.
Lastly, we have Nekonyan released Kakenuke after they've been working on it since 2022. Kakenuke itself is the VN from Saga Planets with them tried to repeat the summer aesthetic from Natsuyume Nagisa with very sexy uniform (At least what I thought), although ultimately Kakenuke is far more lighter compared to Natsuyume (Or even their other VNs like Kirikoi or Hatsusaku). For the premise, it's about the MC Yuu who need to do his best in order to balance his study and work life because he need to feed himself and his little stepsister while his parents being irresponsible leave both of them alone (Which mean Yuu resembled Karichaimashita's MC at first). One day, he saw both of his childhood friend Hibiki and his classmate Riri forcefully recruit him into their clubs (Action Club and Volunteer Club respectively) with both clubs focused on enjoying youth. While Yuu obviously have none at it, eventually he find himself enjoying his youth and romance. While it has some nice drama in some parts, ultimately Kakenuke would be fitting to be called as charage (Or moege). Go get Kakenuke if you want some nice charage from Saga Planets, and have fun.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

    Visual Novel Translation Status Review
    Visual Novel Translation Status (24/12/2023)
Welcome to this week VNTS Review. For the title, because we have Animal Trail 2 release along with One Remake, I decided to make another parody of Trails game by combining 'Trails' from Animal Trail 2 along with 'Radiant Season' from translated subtitle of original One (To the Radiant Season), so we have 'Trails to Radiant Season' as the title. As for this week, honestly to be blunt it's quite plain, especially compared to the last weeks. That said, with several companies have some announcements in the last week, perhaps they took some times to rest. Anyway, let's see what I can write in this Christmas week.
Unlike few last weeks when Shiravune has more than one updates, this time they only has exactly one update, namely One Remake release. Admittedly it has upgraded graphic that's up to par with newer VN along with new VAs and nice opening song, so at the first glance it's worth to pick up. That said, like YU-NO story wise it's the same, so obviously the story may not up to what we consume nowadays, especially if we compared it to modern KEY VN (I mention KEY because One is the predecessor of Kanon with Kanon itself is the very successful KEY VN). If anything else, the artist (Itaru Hinoue) drawing is far better compared to when she drew Koropukkur. Oh yes, there's no sex scenes in there, so if you prefer the older art and somehow want to see the sex scene then obviously the remake is redundant one. For the premise, it's about Kouhei who grieve from his older sister death start visiting the Eternal World with the people around him start to forget him, and in order to escape the Eternal World Kouhei must have strong bond with someone else. Go get One Remake if you're curious about old VN by KEY main staffs and prefer the newer graphic, and have fun.
Sekai did release Animal Trail 2, and at least the VN has good looking graphic. For the premise, it's about Taiga became the manager of his favorite underground idol group who secretly magical girl, and in Animal Trail 2 Taiga will get close with the remaining girls who back in the prequel are just supporting characters. Go get Animal Trails 2 if you want to see more magical girl VN. Sekai also has Sheol trial released back in yesterday, and they already edited a quarter of the full game. JAST has new release on 29th later, and said release is Goblin on the March that they've announced at AX 2023.
From fan translation, we have Kusarihime is fully edited and ChuSingura is at 35.8% translated with the translator is already finished a little more than half of second route (Horiibe Yasube chapter). Lastly, we have Tsuma Netori full translation patch released, and for the VN itself it's about the female teacher Makoto who keep suffering the sexual assault in her school. Makoto tried her best to protect her family by keep silent about the assault, although it only matter of time before Makoto enjoying the sexual assault and betray her husband. Go get Tsuma Netori if you want some NTR VN, and have fun.
That's all for what I can write in regard of it, and Merry Christmas. See you next week, or maybe in the next year.

    Visual Novel Translation Status Review
    Visual Novel Translation Status (17/12/2023)
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have Mahoyo available on PC with the title 'Witch of the Holy Night' and Destiny Star Girlfriend release, I decided to parodied the latter by changing 'Star' into 'Witch', so we have 'Destiny Witch Girlfriend', although ironically Aoko didn't really become Soujuurou girlfriend at the end of Mahoyo (For now). That aside, there's quite a number of the updates on this week, with two interesting updates to note (Mahoyo PC release and Ever Maiden announcement). Other than that, Shiravune being active again with two releases and one new title (Albeit all of those are smaller one, and Sekai also finally has some updates with they released Gakkou no Seiiki. Overall, this week is slightly above average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it.
After a year since console release, Aniplex decided to try released Mahoyo on PC, which is good news seeing that not everyone else willingly buy console to just play it. The premise is still the same, with Soujuurou stumbled upon Aoko and Alice when both of them using magic, and once again Nasu did write those three characters based on Evangelion main trio. While it's too bad that apparently the initial translation has a lot of mistakes so much Aniplex announced the update to fix the mistakes, it definitely far better to just play Steam version compared to wait for the fan translation team to finally gain the will to finishing the remaining work that they didn't working on it ever since the official release announcement. Also while it has some inconvenience, at least Aniplex still know how to adjust the screen for lower PC resolution compared to Success with their 'brilliant' screen programming on Aoishiro and Akai Ito. Go get Mahoyo if you've been waiting to play it on PC, and have fun.
Sekai did release Gakkou no Seiiki, and the VN is part of Seiiki trilogy with the MC has two love interests (His older sister and his classmate), so in a way Seiiki trilogy is like Uchikano trilogy although turned out Gakkou no Seiiki didn't have threesome route. Sekai also has Nie no Hakoniwa update, with them fully edited it and currently finished 20% of the QA work. Shiravune did announce new title, Kiss kara Hajimeru Egoism, and I only know that it'll be released on March 31st at the latest on top has single robot heroine. After one time delay, finally Shukusei no Girlfriend was released, and the first entry is focused on Yuuri (I hope Shiravune will announce the remaining of the trilogy). They also released My Slow Life with the Princess Knight and Her Devoted Handmaiden, and unlike Shukusei it was released without too much issue (Which mean the review process for this is goes smoothly).
Cherry Kiss has new nukige release, Ara Ara Auntie Incest, and they'll release it on January 12th later. From fan translation, we have Tsuma Netori is fully edited along with the proofreading work is 80% done, 206 out of 253 script files for Kusarihime are edited, ChuSingura is at 35.05% translated, and Akagoei 3 is at 80.25% edited. Tsui no Sora Remake has both translation and editing work are almost complete (94% and 91% done respectively) with Takuji's route is fully translated, although it didn't mean that it's close to the release because the translator still want to do some remaining work (QC pass) after the editing work is done, and if anything else at least it's almost completed.
Last but not the least, we have Ever Maiden will be available in English on the next year. Yes, Ever Maiden as in the newest GL VN from Liar Soft that has very unique graphic. Surprisingly, the publisher for it is not either Mangagamer or Shiravune, but instead it's Love Lab with their last big title is Sugar Sweet Temptation. I did mention that Ever Maiden is like Flowers with all girl school, and turned out there's a reason for it. While I also did mention this is the second time Liarsoft wrote GL story in all girl school like Yurirei, turned out Ever Maiden contents are more heavy compared to two ghost girls ask the MC help to establish Yuritopia, especially with the setting is the school hidden in the fog and thorns. For the premise, we have the mysterious girl Alouette who stumbled upon the isolated school Puellarium, and she need to pass a test in order for her to stay in the school with she manage to pass. Oh yes, there's no route with each girls are paired like in Yurirei, although with only three couple.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

    Visual Novel Translation Status Review
    Visual Novel Translation Status (01/03/2021)
Welcome to first VNTS Review for 2021, and as for the title I'll tell it at PS. As for this week after a busy week, this time it's quite calm. Although we still have some updates though, in that once again most of those are from fan translation section. Speaking about fan translation, we have Oreimo VN for PSP being released so at least we have a release from fan translation, Other than that, we have the usual updates from Nekonyan here. Overall I guess I can say that this week is quite good, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week.
Verdellish did a good progress on Slow Damage, and as for current progress it's at a quarter translated. This week JAST did announce another Empress VN named Closed Game. Normally when you hear Empress it could only mean the developer of infamous Starless, and you're right if you think that. As for Closed Game, it did have some talk about on how Earth people are suffering very much while the people of the heaven (It called Caelum Urbs here) are prosper, and that situation make the lower people being desperate to going to Caelum Urbs. Of course there's a way to make it possible, and that through a killing game with the prize that anyone who survive would become Caelum Urbs citizen. Knowing Starless, of course we'll going to have a lot of sexual contents in the game along with some murder (Duh), or if I make some comparison it would be like euphoria (It shouldn't be a coincidence that Izumi Ban'ya (One of euphoria writer) wrote the scenario here). Well at least it has Seishoujo art which to say quite nice looking, and that JAST will release this at this year later. Not my interest, but at least you can look forward to it if you like the arts.
Muv Luv Unlimited - The Day After was delayed to 2021, which to say not surprising at all. Well I guess the staffs need more time to polish the release, so good luck on that. From Nekonyan we have Kirikoi was at 78% edited along with 5% in QA, 1st secret project was at 67% translated along with 30% edited, 2nd secret project was at 35% translated, and Clover Days was at 90% edited along with them currently working on porting the engine. As for their next releases, for now it's pretty obvious that we won't get either Kirikoi or Clover Days as this month releases, although I can hope that Nekonyan will release those two at this year. Lastly we also have the engine porting for Dracu Riot will started shortly, so at least it should be a good news to anyone else who waiting for Nekonyan's version of Dracu Riot.
We have quite a number of updates from fan translation at first week of 2021 here, so let's round it up first. As of now Shin Koihime Musou was at 39% edited, Pure x Connect reach 10,000 lines edited milestone (10,482 lines) along with 19,232 lines translated, 40 scripts of Majikoi A-4 were fully translated, Yuuna's route at Harugi was at 80% translated along with Sumika's route was at 11% translated and Misaki's route was at 21% translated, Chaos Head Noah was at 52.85% translated with common route was at 36.43% translated and Nanami's route was at 70.25% translated (Note that it's just first pass translation, so even if Chaos Head Noah is fully translated it still need two more translation pass), and Eustia was at 59.38% TLC-ed with Licia's chapter was at 35.40% TLC-ed along with some increase on Eustia's chapter was at 5.38% TLC-ed (More importantly Eustia did get a new staff to do TLC work, so hopefully the TLC can be more efficient).
As for Oreimo itself, I know that it's about the ordinary high school MC (Kyousuke) who has a little sister (Kirino) who perfect at everything while at the same time her ego is being fragile. Naturally at first the relationship being her and Kyousuke is quite distant, until one day when Kyousuke find out that Kirino like to play little sister eroge and thus it reveal that actually Kirino here is a brocon in which after that the relationship between the siblings started to change for the better. Other than that, I know that some people didn't like it presumably because of the romance with little sister along with Kirino's fragile ego, and that the fans didn't like the canon heroine. Anyway for Oreimo VN itself it's seven years old project that I rarely paid attention, although at least the original creator also involved in here unlike Saekano VN. If you're a fans of Oreimo and you want to play the VN in order to have Kyousuke romancing non-canon heroine, go play it and have fun. Oh yes technically it's console only VN because it's only released for PSP, although seeing that nowadays good PSP emulator is easy to search you can play this on PC.
That's all for my first VNTS Review in 2021 here, and sorry for being late. See you next week.
PS - As for the title since we have Oreimo release, I decided to parodied the English title of it by making the title called out that his cousin is cute, so we have 'My Cousin Can't Be This Cute' as this week VNTS Review. Another reason here is because Ayana Taketatsu (Kirino's VA) did act as cousin character (Suguha) in Sword Art Online, so I make the VA joke as well.

    Visual Novel Translation Status Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and because we have both Tanetsumi no Uta and Hatsuyuki Sakura are about to be released at this week, I decided to make a parody of the soundtrack from the latter title, Ghost Parade, by changing 'Ghost' with 'Jellyfish', so we have 'Jellyfish Parade' as the title. As for the reason of 'Jellyfish' word, it's because turned out Tanetsumi no Uta artist was the character designer for Spring 2024 anime, Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night, with two of Tanetsumi no Uta characters looks similar to two main characters of Jellyfish anime. As for this week, well let's just be blunt by saying that it's plain even with Shiravune confirmed Kara no Shoujo 3, although in another way this week is a breather before the upcoming releases in the next week. With that done, let's see what I can write in regard of this week.
Visual Arts announced Holy Undead with they'll release it on 20th later. For the VN, it's about the male necromancer who have been dead after getting killed by the hero and the saint, and reincarnated into white-haired female saint, Yuricia, who is the daughter of his killer and have cheat powers. Yuricia herself just want to become necromancer again, although the holy power insider her body is obviously very major obstacle to her goal, so she did her best to find a way to getting around it. That said, even with her actions are based on her very personal motive, her actions manage to get her a bunch of followers, including handsome male who Yuricia (Understandably) being indifferent towards to. In case you thought the plot is like usual web novel, then you're right because Holy Undead base source is the web novel itself, although curiously the author chose to adapt it into the VN instead of manga or anime first. Speaking of Visual Arts, as expected they delay the release of Reflection Blue to the next year.
Cherry Kiss suddenly released another nukige called Harem Inn, and it's about the MC who is an innkeeper in the very dangerous monster-infested forest with the only guests are the party consisted of the trio big-breasted female. The party was only go to the inn to find the MC's father who set up the inn in the very dangerous place, so the MC need to prove his worth to the party so that they would willingly to have a lot of sex with the MC. Go get the nukige if you're interested with it, and have fun. For the other updates, we have Taima Seiko Alice is at 90% edited and Yoru ga Kuru release delayed to the next year.
The biggest news for this week is obviously Kara no Shoujo 3 announcement by Shiravune, although it's not really surprising since they already announced it indirectly when they mentioned they took the license for the trilogy. Still, at least it's nice to know they're seemingly almost done with it now that they open the Steam store page of it, so the players can play Kara no Shoujo directly in case they decided to wait for Shiravune to finally release the last part. As for Kara no Shoujo 3 itself, it's about Reiji who still got hit by the event of Kara no Shoujo 2 True Ending was suddenly asked to help sorting the stuffs belong to the recently deceased mad painter, and among one he find the eerie painting depicting an one winged angel with no arm. Like in the previous parts, obviously the mad artist work invite another mad person, and thus Reiji need to get to work as the detective because someone killed a person with the corpse was made to resemble the one winged angel. Oh yes, Innocent Grey here goes all out to not showing the explicit sex scenes, so actually there's no mosaic in Kara no Shoujo 3 and therefore you didn't need to worry about it.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

    Visual Novel Translation Status (07/09/2019)
Foreword - It's nice to see that we finally have VNTS after almost a year of absence, so of course I'll give a link to VNTS here (And no you didn't read it wrong there). Also thanks to Decay for mentioning my name at his musing, and as for Mahou Shoujo VN that Zakamutt mentioned it's too bad that apparently the translation project is stopped because of some apparent real life matter.
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as you can see this week we swamped with 28 new announcements in which most of those are from AX, so let me comment on the announcements as well. As for my impression on the announcements, I guess it's kind of mixed seeing that there's some good announcement like Eiyuu Senki GOLD or Amatsutsumi and yet seeing the publisher behind it make me doubt about whether we can get those two quickly. At the same time we have Sol Press bring something interesting to the table, and for this year AX Mangagamer decided to bring some VNs that have a lot of passion. Overall my impression on this AX here is still quite average like back at the last year, but compared to back then it's slightly better because Sekai didn't pick any available fan translation project. Let's see what I can write for this week as well, and about the title I'll explain it in the PS.
We obviously didn't have any AX announcement from fan translation here, but of course they still have updates though. The most surprising one is Amagami in which they suddenly managed to edited halfway of the scripts (50.5% edited), and apparently they'd been busy since the last announcement so they only have the chance to update the progress now. I guess they doing good there because they finally find an editor, and hopefully they doing well until the release (The project is almost seven years there). For the rest of the update, we have Eustia was at 72.10% translated with Eustia's chapter was at 9.53% translated along with 46.78% TLC-ed, Watamasu was at 92% translated, and 4,403 lines from Pure x Connect are edited. Other than those updates, there's no other notable updates so that's all for this week fan translation.
    JAST USA
From JAST we have three announcement including the aforementioned Eiyuu Senki GOLD, but before we're going to the announcements let's see what updates that they have because they gave us a lot of that. The first update from them was in regard of Majikoi in that they already open the pre-order for the physical edition, which obviously mean that the release time is getting closer and it'll be at this summer (Probably at August). The second was in regard of Katahane, in which they'll try to release it at autumn later (ie between September to November). While for now we can safely ignore those two seeing that both of those are already released and therefore redundant (Even with Katahane new opening), at least we also have both of Kimikoi and Flowers Autumn release will be possibly happen at the autumn as well (By the way it'll be very fitting if JAST managed to release Flowers Autumn at autumn as they promised). For the last update, we have Sumaga release at winter in which it's one of the most daring updates from them seeing that it's been eight years since it was translated (I just hope that they'll be able to do it if possible, and if not I guess we can wait more).
Almost forget that we have surprise release from them that was happen around AX, and those releases are Princess X fandisc and Mamono Musume in which both of those are nukige. While those two VNs are not my interest here, at least it's good that we have two more VNs was cleared from JAST's backlog. Speaking about Mamono Musume, turned out that JAST decided to announced another of that as well and this time it'll have slime and mollusc girl as the heroines (The released Mamono Musume did only have lamia heroine). As for Mamono Musume itself, actually it's a series of short nukige that have monster girls as the heroines, so you can expect a lot of sex with the monster girls (Duh). As far as series goes, currently we have six series with on of those already released and another just announced here, so there's still four more to be licensed if JAST want to localized all of Mamono Musume VNs. We also have Saya no Uta remaster announcement, although seeing that we already have it since back at 2009 let's just say that it's like both of Majikoi and Katahane (Redundant).
About Eiyuu Senki GOLD, before JAST announced it we have a fan translation group that already released the partial patch that translate some of the sex scenes. Of course seeing that JAST finally license it, he didn't have any other choice except to stop his project and wait for the release. What I can comment is that it would be logical for JAST to license GOLD seeing that they have the license for the original version, although whether they can release GOLD quickly or not is still questionable though (Let's just hope that they already have sizable translation progress when they announced GOLD here). As for GOLD itself while at the first glance it's retelling the original story, actually GOLD here is quite different in that instead of Himiko our MC Chihaya will interact with Masamune (New heroine for GOLD) first. More importantly we have some improvement in regard of the gameplay, in which Tenco did buff some of the heroines and add some new mechanic in the gameplay. Other than that, apparently Tenco will give the heroines some more interaction so if you felt the chance to talk with the heroines was quite lacking in the original than GOLD should fix the issue. I'll look forward to the eventual release of GOLD here.
For the last announcement from JAST here, we have Yamizome Revenger in which it's Escu:de VN. As we know, Escu:de did have partnership with Sekai in regard of ReLord trilogy localization so it should be logical if we expected that Denpasoft would announce Yamizome, and yet it turned out differently because we have JAST announced it. As for Yamizome itself you'll play as a high school student who was possessed by a demon king, and the goddess sent her best five heroines from the anther world. Of course naturally our MC would be worry about his future, and then the demon king convince the MC to take a chance to make the five heroines as his harem by corrupting them using the demon king power. Like ReLord we'll engage the gameplay to fight the heroine before corrupting them, and that we'll going to have some eccentric demon king although from the spoiler that I read I think he'll be like Himegari in that the demon king will influenced by the MC to a degree. I'll look forward to the eventual release of this seeing that it's rare to see light novel like fantasy setting in the VN, even though it bordered nukige seeing that the number of sex scenes is quite a lot.
    Other
For this instance I'll make a new section for Sol Press seeing that there'll be a lot to talk about, but first let's see what this section have (Minus Sol Press). As for Aksys, I admit that I mixed it up with Spike Chunsoft because turned out that the company that always release sci fi VN is Spike Chunsoft, while as for Aksys here their product is mostly otome. Speaking about otome, almost all of Aksys announcements at AX were consist of that VNs, with some of those are already released and about to be ported to the Switch. So even if I show some interest into it, too bad that I still couldn't play it seeing that I still didn't have console yet. For the last announcement, instead of otome we have a horror VN (NG) in that it'll tell a story of an older brother who search a clue in regard on who or what is responsible for his disappeared sister, and that he'll teamed up with some morally questionable characters in order to get what he pursue. Other than that, NG is the second part of 'Spirit Hunter' series that also consist Death Mark that was released several months ago by Aksys.
With Robotic Notes and it's sequel announced by Spike Chunsoft, it mean that we only need Chaos Head to be localized in order to have complete Science Adventure legally available in English. As for Robotic Note and the sequel itself, it's a part of Science Adventure (Steins Gate, Chaos Head, and Chaos Child) in that at each series we'll have some main characters fight against cadres from a very mysterious organization (Committee 300) that committed several heinous crimes, and obviously Robotic Notes here is no exception. Another thing to note that it's obviously would contain sci-fi element, and in Robotic Note case we'll going to have the main characters build a robot while at the same time find a mysterious program that might be dangerous for the world. Almost forget to note that there'll be some cameo from Steins Gate, and they'll took important role for the story here. For the release plan, they'll release the first part at 2020 later and that it'll be including Steam version as well.
In the middle of KS, we also have Nekonyan decided to announced Aokana Extra1, in which it's Sprite last work before they going bankrupt. As for the premise, it's more or less just a fandisc for Mashiro in which it's obviously targeted toward Mashiro's fan. No info in regard of the release date as of now, but it's easy to guess that they'll release it adter they managed to release Aokana later. As for the KS itself, it's already being successful with currently they already reached the 4th stretch goal (At 60,000 euro) and currently they gather 64,708 euro. We also have a new announcement from Lemnisca, in that they announced a new doujin hardcore sci fi VN with the name Dei Gratia no Rahinban in which apparently will tell a story about several people who trapped at 700 meters under the sea. Still no idea on what kind of VN is that other than the people need to figure a way to be survive before succumbed to the hidden threat, although apparently the story itself is quite well-received. We don't know when Lemnisca will give more words about this again, but at least we know that Lemnisca will do KS for Dei Gratia here.
    Sekai Project
As for the first Sekai announcements, I'll just grouped Glass along with New Glass and SF in the same paragraph because those three did share the same contents in that it did have animated picture and created by the same person. While the animated picture here is a plus seeing that it's doujin VN and all, I guess we can say that Glass here would be more famous because of the controversy in that the creator of Glass (Tetsuzo) sent a mail to the fan translator, and apparently he directly say some strong word (F*ck) and ask the translator to stop the project in a rude way. Also apparently Tetsuzo at first didn't approve the translation, so I guess he changed his mind now that we have Sekai license it (Or he just quit his company and the new staffs decided to sell the license to Sekai). Well in the end it wouldn't matter seeing that Sekai already get it, so Tetsuzo himself didn't need to worry about the fan translator anymore.
Other than Glass, we also have Nekogami in which I find the premise is quite confusing because we have a little sister who somehow become the catgirl was call her older brother as 'Nee-chan', and yet the older brother (The MC) himself is didn't look like woman at all. So you better not expect some trap MC from nekogami here. There's also Koiama 2 in which it's the sequel of Koiama, and now I look at it the atmosphere along with the girls did almost bear some resemblance with Gochiusa to a degree, although obviously we didn't have rabbit in Koiama there. There's also a first part of Seiiki trilogy in which it was owned by feng, and the first part will tell a story about a MC who somehow became the butler for her childhood female friend because of some misunderstanding. As for Seiiki series itself the format did resemble Loca Love very much, in which we'll going to have three separated chapters and each part will focused on one particular heroine. There's Nine episode 3 announcement as well, in which it's just released at this year and the art is still beautiful thanks to Tsubasu. About Nine episode 3 here, it's quite obvious to see that the next part will be the last part seeing that there's a lot of reveal in episode 3 here.
Before going to a certain announcement by Sekai, let me write some updates from them. First of all we'll have them do the KS for Rewrite+ for the hardcopy in which to be said was not surprising at all, and therefore I have no much to say here other than Rewrite license here is still redundant (Especially after knowing that there's no much change in the ending of Rewrite+ after compared it to the original one). The second update is in regard of Baldr Sky, in which apparently there's no word in regard of 18+ contents so we wouldn't know whether the release will be censored for now. For now I just leaned towards that the 18+ contents will be available, and hopefully there'll a word in regard of that after it passed Steam Review (They planned to release it at Q3/Q4 of this year). For Tokeijikake, well they somehow managed to have a lot of confidence that they'll be able to release it at this year seeing that they announced that they'll release the rest of the trilogy at this year, although seeing that Sekai have a hard time on the engine work it's hard to see here (I just hope that they'll be able to do it). For the last update, we'll going to have Majokoi release in the very near future (Hopefully along with Nanairo if possible).
For the certain announcement, it's Amatsutsumi in which it's Purple Software VN. While you may know that Purple Software did have partnership with Mangagamer, turned out that they'd really flexible when it come with contact here so we'll going to wait for Sekai if we want to read Amatsutsumi here. As for the VN itself, we'll going to have our MC Makoto who more or less want to know more about world and therefore decided to run away from his secluded village. Seeing that he still didn't have much stamina, he collapsed in a nearby village and rescued by a girl. Seeing that Makoto did have superpower and he didn't have house, he decided to use his power to alter the girl memory in order to live at the village. Another thing to note is that the art still quite good like usual Purple Software VNs, and that this VN structure is like both of G-Senjou and Eustia, in that we'll have ladder structure that allow us to either pick an alternative ending or keep going until the last route. I'll look forward to the eventual release of Amatsutsumi here.
Almost forget that we also have Sekai announced Bokukotsu FD along with Photonflower, although since those two more or less just fandiscs I didn't have much word to say here. Although at least Photonflower here might be good if you still want some Muv Luv, so perhaps you may take an interest to it. That's all for Sekai Project section here.
    Mangagamer
This year AX was apparently make Mangagamer think that we need some VNs with High Sexual Contents (If not nukige), and therefore they decided to bring the announcements that fit that category to a degree. Also like some people expected turned out that they bring another Waffle title, in this case is Kyonyuu Fantasy 2 Gaiden. As for Kyonyuu Gaiden 2 itself, well Arunaru did localized the title as Sideboob 2 so I'll call it with that name from now on. For the premise itself, it's the continuation of first Sideboob in which it's also the continuation of first Funbag Fantasy. So what I can say is that apparently first Funbag MC is more popular compared to the second Funbag MC, seeing that it received more sequel here. While it would be good for the fans to see the continuation of first Funbag story, to me the breast is still too big so I'll just pass on this even though the plot might be quite good (The story obviously).
About Mangagamer announcement on Rance, what I can say is that I would prefer them to bring new announcement instead of that. Although if anything else, at least they bring the remake version instead of the older version. That said 02 is still redundant though seeing that we already have it released for a while (Even with Mangagamer using the new script), and story wise both of those are redundant. As for the premise itself, it should be obvious that our Rance here is a selfish guy who want to have sex with the woman, regardless on whether the woman like it or not. As for 01 itself, we'll going to have Rance took a case about mysteriously disappearing girl. While for 02 here, we have Rance rescue a city that was taken over by four witches. While the premise is less epic compared to VI (Or even 3), we can treat both of 01 and 02 as the introduction for some of recurring characters in Rance series. Almost forget that 01 here did change the gameplay a lot, so it might be interesting to play if you already gotten use with Rance 1 (Very outdated) battle system.
I think this is the first time I took my interest on a twisted (Almost) nukige, because the MC is female and that the writer is Izumi Banya who usually managed to write a good story in his nukige. As for the VN itself, the name is Mugen Renkan and as for the detail it tell a story on about a nameless woman (The MC) who cursed to have endless life was become a slave for a very cruel man with the name King. Of course things obviously will not kind to the woman, seeing that she suffer a lot of brutal rape (Apparently including amputation) before finally managed to run away. Although her suffering is still not ending though, seeing that the King obviously want her to back to his castle and therefore sent some cadres to bring back the woman by force. From there the woman did live on through three periods (Medieval French, Wild West, and Meiji era), while at the same time did her best to escape from King's cadres. Like euphoria here (Same writer) the contents of Mugen Renkan here is obviously not appropriate for 15 years old, so I hope that some 15 years old will not try this and being disturbed in the future.
Almost forget to mention that the three out of four Mangagamer's announcements here are the secret projects, and in this case 01 would be the 4th secret project (100% translated), Sideboob 2 is the 7th secret project (Fully translated and 92% edited), and Mugen Renkan is the 6th secret project (76% translated and 36% edited). As for 1st and 8th projects, maybe we'll know more at Otakon later. I hope that Mangagamer will have story VN to announce at Otakon later.
    Sol Press
What I can say about Sol Press is that they quite bold with the updates, in that they announced the exact release date for their VNs in which some of those are quite questionable if I may say. For the detail we have Kimiaogi at August 16th, Onikiss at September 27th, Shitsuaru at October 27th, Nukitashi at November 22nd, Himawari no Kioku at February 2020, and Yotsunoha as soon as possible (Hopefully in less than a month). While I can see that they'll be able to release both of Kimiaogi and Onikiss on time, obviously it's hard to see whether they can release both of Shitsuaru and Nukitashi on time so hopefully Sol Press did have a plan for the latter two (Especially Nukitashi). As for the first announcement, it's Laplacian newest release in which it's logical seeing that Sol Press have contract with Laplacian. As for the premise, we have the MC who is an office worker have a housewife as his wife. To complicate matter, turned out that his wife is very easily got horny so obviously she would ask the MC for sex if she can. For now I don't have much to say here about the VN, other than it's very obvious that the VN is a nukige.
This time Sol Press bring a new partner here, and the partner in question is Windmill along with three of their VNs. The first one that they bring is quite surprising, in that they bring Witch's Garden which as we know is used to have two fan translation projects, and it's too bad that both of the projects were dead because of the translator real life matter or something like that. If anything, at least the first project did left a prologue patch in case you want to see it. As for the premise itself it's abut our MC Yousuke who come to an unique town in order to continue his school, and from there Yousuke start his carefree life together with some of his (Female) friends. Since the previous Witch's Garden projects are already dead, Sol Press here will using the new translation for this. Almost forget that Witch's Garden here also have e-mote feature, although I didn't care much abut it though. Like both of Eiyuu Senki GOLD and Amatsutsumi, I'll look forward to the release if only for the sake of Eri Sendai and 'passionate Hitomi Nabatame-voiced love-making' scenes people who've been looking forward to this since the first translation projects was established at 2013.
For the rest of Windmill announcements, there's Hyper Highspeed Genius (HHG) and Happiness 2 Sakura Celebration (I'll just call it Sakura Celebration, and obviously it's not a part of Winged Cloud's Sakura series). As for both of the VN, both of those did have magical settings although both of those did have contrasting MC here with HHG MC did have manipulative personality while Sakura Celebration MC here is more in line with usual kindhearted MC. For the premise, HHG here is more like we have an artifact that was rumored to be able to rule the world and that there's three school that was merged into one in order to do an election between gifted human so that the winner can take control of the artifact, and obviously our MC here need to be very crafty in order to win. While for Sakura Celebration, it's premise is more down to earth with our MC was coming back to his hometown when the town celebrate the long season of sakura. For more information here, the MC is a magician and apparently he'll attend a magic school in order to allow his skill to grow. No much word here other than it would be better to expect Windmill VNs as charage, just like Sankaime.
That's all for this week VNTS Review along with my AX commentary, and see you next week.
PS - For the title, seeing that recently I realized that Nine did have Atsuhi Abe as the MC and Satomi Arai as the mascot, I decided to do a parody for Toaru series because both of them were the casts in the anime adaptation. For the parody in this case it would be Index or to be exact the translated version (A Certain Magical Index), and I change 'Index' to 'Kyouko' because we have Amatsutsumi announcement. For more info, Amatsutsumi did have the setting that some people did have superpower and seeing that there's no scientific setting the source of power is most likely magic. While for Kyouko, it's the name of one of Amatsutsumi's heroine and that she have superpower.

    Visual Novel Translation Status Review
Welcome to my first VNTS Review in 2023. Since we have Brothers Conflict release, I'd make a parody of the Autumn 2001 anime Angel Tales, which is somehow fitting seeing that both have 13 characters of the same gender with the MC is from the different gender (Although Brothers Conflict heroes are not the animal in their past life though), so we have 'Brother Tales' for the title. For the first week of 2023, the only release that we have is Brothers Conflict, although obviously it's not that I'd paid attention to. That said, the updates that we have here are far more interesting compared to the single release. Oh yes Shiravune also about to release their first 2023 title, although it's not what I look forward from them here so I suppose they want to go through their smaller title first. All in all, this week is more or less another average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it.
Even though we have Brothers Conflict release, it's not been released by Aksys Games but instead it was fan translated. For the premise, we have our female MC Ema who had her remarry a man who turned out has 13 handsome sons, and when Ema moved on the brother didn't easily accepted her in. Of course though, sooner or later the brothers feeling towards Ema starts to change, and from there it's possible that the changed feeling will be blossoming towards the forbidden love. It also has anime adaptation, so at least it's quite popular to a degree. As for the translated version, it's Passion Pink. I did mention the version because turned out there's a big difference between version, with said difference is which brothers that you can date, so you can't date all of the brothers in the translated version here. Go get Brothers Conflict if you want to play it and have PSV (The translator only translate PSV version), and have fun.
Cherry Kiss announce yet another nukige with the title Kinky Cosplay: Gyarus Gone Wild, and well I can only say that it's another short nukige from Miel with the focus is the gyaru heroines. In case you want to get it, it'll be available on 13th later. Speaking of nukige, Shiravune first 2023 title is one in that it's the sequel of nurse femdom nukige, Nope Nope Nope Nurses, and it should be obvious that it'll be about another femdom nukige with nurses heroines, so it's not my interest here. In case you want to get it though, you can note the release date in which it'll be on 20th later.
JAST did confirm that they're failed to release Tokyo Necro in 2022, but in exchange they mentioned that they're preparing for both Steam and GOG release, so at least you can buy it from the other stores beside JAST store. As for the cause of the delay, as expected it's more or less because the engine work of it is still not done yet, especially with them mentioned that they're 'working closely with Nitroplus to deliver the best possible experience for players', which apparently involving several testing and stuffs. Speaking of delay, we also have Lupercalia release delayed because of the translator was too busy, although he most certainly promised that he'll release the full translation patch in this month. Oh yes we have Lupercalia is at 99% edited with QC in progress, with the remaining things to do are give a look through to all script files along with cleaning typos here and there.
For the rest of fan translation updates, besides Brothers Conflict release and Lupercalia delay announcements, we have Chronos is fully translated along with 80% edited, 70 out of 138 script files of Umi kara Kuru Mono are translated, Senmomo is at 84.08% edited with side stories is at 44.3% edited, the editing of Tsuki's route in Akagoei FD is currently ongoing with the translator started translating Akagoei 3, ChuSingura is at 17.78% translated, H2O is at 81.3% translated with Hamaji's route was fully translated, and Eustia is at 99.46% in programming with Licia's chapter is at 97.14% in programming. We also have Snow Ryuujin informed that they managed to translated 2 out of 4 sex scenes in Hikari's route of Miagete, in which it's pretty much about 60% like the last update mentioned.
That's all for what I can say in regard of this week, and see you next week.

    Visual Novel Translation Status Review
    Visual Novel Translation Status (23/10/2022)
Welcome to this week VNTS Review. As for this week, compared to the last week to be honest this week is kind of plain even though it has two releases, because both releases are short nukige in which obviously it's not my interest. Of course though there's still several updates happening, such as usual fast H2O progress and several new release estimation from Aksys announcements. Speaking of the announcements, Nekonyan will hold panel together with JAST on AWA at Saturday morning later and more importantly they'll bring five new announcements, so at least there'll be something to look forward later on. Anyway let's see what I can write in regard of this week, and I'll tell the title at PS later.
Cherry Kiss will release yet another nukige called Hypno Mama on November 4th later, although this time it has additional feature in that it'll included English dub which should be feasible seeing that apparently it's just a very short VN. Speaking of announced exact release date, we also have Fakku announced that they'll release Sei Yariman on November 1st later. Shiravune did release two nukige, with those two nukige are more or less have MILF fetish and NTR. Well I can't exactly says that both nukige are my taste here, but hey different stroke for different people. So in case you've been interested to play those two nukige, go get two nukige and have fun.
For some reason Mirai Radio release was delayed to Winter 2023 release, and well I guess there's no much we can do if the reason for the delay is quite urgent seeing that Nekonyan has some plan to make up for the delay (The tweet for the source). As for Aksys announcements, most of those are more or less the estimation with them will release their VNs either in next summer (Jack Jeanne, Norn9 fandisc, Radiant Tale) or autumn (Shuuen no Virche), so at least the fans who want to get the otome VN from Aksys can note the nest year season. Oh yes they also announced one new otome VN, and the title is Tengoku Struggle in which it has the premise that the stepdaughter of King Enma (The one who judge the death in underworld) was tasked to caught jailbreakers (The evil soul that are punished in the underworld) who escape to the human world, and from there she must do his job with the help from several handsome heroes. In case you've wait for the release, it'll be on 2024 later.
We have some update on Walkure Romane, although it's more or less quite roundabout with the translator apparently is about two thirds done with Mio's route (The link to the post on 4chan). For the rest of fan translation updates, we have Cronos is at 65% translated, Yosuga no Sora is at 65% TLC-ed, ChuSingura is at 14.83% translated, Senmomo is past three quarter (75.24%) edited with Chapter 5 is fully edited, H2O is at 30.4% translated with Hayami's route is at almost three quarter (74.6%) translated, and Eustia is at 98.54% in programming with Licia's route is at 92.24% in programming.
Lastly there's some update from Daybreak Translation, with the first update is in regard Tsuki's route of Akagoei FD is fully translated with the translator now working on Anzu's route. The second update is obviously in regard of Ginharu with Mizuha's route editing is still going steadily with Yuzuki's route second pass has finished, although the translator will won't skip Mizuha's patch release (Initially the translator want to delay Yuzuki's second pass until Mizuha's patch release), because he just list the new release estimation for Mizuha's patch release in which it'll be on Christmas (December 24th or 25th) later which admittedly should be a nice Christmas gift, with Yuzuki's route will be released on early 2023 later. That's all for the updates from Daybreak.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
PS - For the title I'll just change the 'Pigeons' part in Mirai Radio English full title (Future Radio and the Artificial Pigeons) with 'Roses' in which it's from Alpha Nighthawk setting that has the gigantic mysterious rose in the space as the cause of the disaster in the setting (Which also coincide that the titular artificial pigeons are also the cause of disaster in Mirai Radio setting), so we have the title 'Future Radio and the Artificial Rose'.

    Visual Novel Translation Status Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as you can see this week is quite packed because of AX that was finally happened after two years absences thanks to pandemic. While in general the AX announcements are quite interesting and that it mean there's a lot of new announcements, there's still some doubt whether we can see it quickly especially when it come to Sekai Project. Although seeing JAST recently manage to upped their game combined with their announcements, we may have some good title from them in the near future if all going well. Overall I can say that the first AX after pandemic here is quite exciting and so does in regard of this week, and for the title I'll tell it at PS later so let's see what I can write in regard of this week beforehand.
We have Chinkamo Twins release, and no much to say that it would be a nice VN if you're in the mood for little sister nukige with nice graphic so have fun if you like it. Love Lab also has some progress on Sugar Sweet Temptation, and said progress is that it's been fully translated and they're aiming for September release. Fakku also announce something, and said announcement in regard of Iku Iku Succubus exact release date in which it'll be on 19th later. Lastly we have Steam listed Kirikoi Golden Time release date will be on 15th later, although the date might be placeholder so let's see we'll see Golden Time release at that date later.
Spike Chunsoft announced Anonymous Code, and they also state that they'll release it on 2023 later. What I know is that while initially it's not intended as part of Science Adventure series, some times later the creator said that Anonymous Code here is the part of Science Adventure series because he realized that it might help the hype if it's established in the same universe as Steins Gate. As for the premise we have Earth in 2036 was face some disaster that caused by the computer and said disaster expected to repeat in 2038, so a group of scientists decided to make an Earth Simulator by using a supercomputer, although turned out that the Earth Simulator here also manage to create their own Earth Simulator thus causing the scientist to have existential crisis. I don't understand much of it other than the MC has the power to 'Save and Load' like in video game, it'll have a lot of science fiction, and that it'll be available for PC later. Speaking of PC, we also have Noah will be available on PC as well.
Aksys Games announcement consist mostly otome VN, and unfortunately those announcements are only available for console. There's one exception though of both though, and said exception is the horror VN Death Mark II that was apparently still in development with PC version will be available. For the rest of the announcement, we have Norn9 fandisc (I only know that Nobuo Uematsu (Who's more famous as FF composer) compose some of the soundtrack of the main Norn9), Shuuen no Virche (Quite dark looking from the premise, seeing that it involve curse and death along with the female MC was called up as the god of death because she's said to bring misfortune to anyone who is close with her), and Radiant Tale (The premise is apparently featuring the circus or something like that (The group is even named CIRCUS), and the female MC is quite good looking). For the info, all of their announcements were slated to be released on 2023 later.
Shiravune announced several new VNs, and if I may blunt all of those are quite plain compared to what they can do in the past. At least Great Deceiver here has a nice art courtesy of Seishoujo (Bible Black, Discipline, and Starless artist), and yes I know that it's Empress's VN which mean that supposedly it should be JAST's license although perhaps because there's a character from elf as the cameo the producer decided to ask Shiravune to localize it. Anyway if you want to get Great Deceiver bcause of the nice art it'll be released on August 5th later. For the other announcements, we have one Escude VN (Himeyoku) with the premise the MC taking the revenge by corrupting the princess with the help of the demons, one Dieselmine nukige, and two Debonosu VN (Tamakagura and the second part of Maika trilogy). At least Shiravune will release those in this autumn with they'll release Dieselmine nukige in August later, and there'll be eight more VNs from them at this year.
This time Mangagamer only has two announcements, although this time they also do some updates to both Rance license with IX was almost ready for the testing because they already got the testing build for it, and X was already past halfway (52%) translated. Coincidentally one of their announcement is Rance, or more specifically Rance 03 in which it's the remake of the old Rance 3 with the revamped gameplay and more importantly add the voice acting. What I can say is that while Rance 3 story here is can be said to be better than the previous two Rance and that it's also translated, I would say that the remake is better anyway seeing that the original Rance 3 graphic was already outdated and that 03 here has some change in the story. For the last announcement we have BL VN Lkyt with the premise resemble Attack on Titan one, and it's from the same company who produce both No Thank You and Room No. 9.
    Fan Translation
After two years since the beginning of the fan translation project from yumi, I figure that I should keep my eyes on the project that has the goal to translate GL VN True Love's Lily Dyes Red (Or in short it's Manakashi from the Japanese name Manakashi no Yuri wa Akaku Somaru). What I can say is that while the art is definitely cute looking, there's quite a number of twisted sex scenes which may be too disturbing if you decided to play it which is fitting seeing that it's from Bug System who as we know also develop Chrono Box that also has some twisted sex scenes. Obviously anyone else who didn't like disturbing sex scenes should be beware of the contents, especially if you're playing for GL romance (Of course Manakashi here should be interested if you like the combination of GL and twisted sex scenes). Anyway as for the current progress we have it at 42.09% translated.
For the rest of fan translation updates, we have Imaimo was fully translated with the team decided to put focus on image editing, Noah was past halfway (50.15%) edited along with 49.29% TLC (It seems they decided to keep going despite Noah PC version was announced), Aya's route of Akagoei FD along with one third of Takanori's Extra was translated, Chronos was at 30% translated, Ruitomo was at 3.01% edited, and Eustia was at 97.25% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 85.41% in programming. We also have Tsukihime Remake translation team announced the exact date to release Arcueid's route patch, and said date will be on 16th later. For the last update from fan translation, we have Daybreak Translation finished two sex scenes from Yuzuki's route along with revealing that Yuzuki's route has 37 script files with nine of those are already translated by Trip and the translator translated two more script files, and so we have 11 out of 37 script files for Yuzuki's route of Ginharu was translated.
    Sekai Project
In AX 2022 here we have Sekai announced several title, with most of those are from Madosoft and Neko Works. But before going to it I'll list some of the progress on their title. For the updates, we have Eternal Heart was at 95% in QA (Which mean we may have Hoshimemo FD released later) and more importantly we have Amatsutsumi's exact release date on 29th later (It might be placeholder date like Kirikoi Golden Time though, so let's see it if they already find a way to work around Steam ban of it). We also have one of AX announcement from Sekai in regard of Watashi-tachi no Marriage 1/Our Marriage 1, and turned out that the developer is still working together with Sekai to localize it. Also since the plan to release it on August later, obviously both of the translation and editing work of it are already finished.
The first announcement is Happy Saint Sheol in which apparently it's the VN about doomed world with the MC encounter an angel in his work as apprentice priest, and from there he encounter six girls who may involved with the MC in one way or another. No much that I can find out other than the full version of it slated to be released in Japan on August 13th later, Sekai will released the translated version of it on 2023 later with the current progress was at 5% translated, and that apparently there'll be some twisted sex scenes along with disturbing contents.
The second announcement is Parfait in which as we know it's another Maruto Fumiaki (Damekoi and WA2 writer for the reminder) that was focused on the MC tried to revive his bankrupt cafe, and looking from the premise alone I see that it resemble Damekoi to a degree. While I know that it should be a good announcement, I can't help to be a bit worry about the removal of the sex scenes seeing that it's from GIGA and we know on how GIGA caused Sekai to remove the sex scene from Baldr Sky. Doubly so for Parfait here because GIGA here is also make PS2 version that has two new heroine and that they'll port PS2 version into PC version with the HD graphic, so the chance that Sekai will localize said version is quite likely. If anything else, at least it's more like Yoake instead of Konosora situation if Sekai forced by GIGA to localized PS2 backport edition later.
We also have three announcements from Neko Works, and naturally one of those is Nekopara VN with said Nekopara is probably the last one. Said Nekopara VN will apparently focused on the catgirl from Nekopara 4, Fraise, and more importantly the little sister Shigure, and from what I see in the full title (Nekopara After: La Vraie Famille) it might be intended as Nekopara 5 (Note that 'V' is the Roman number of 5). Another project is Inupara (From the April Fool announcement), and no much that I can see other than this time they decided to try to make the VN about dog girl instead of cat girl (At least Sayori's art here is still nice to see). For the last Neko Works announcement it's Nie no Hakoniwa that was developed by Neko Works branch, Chatte Noire (Or in English 'Black Cat') with said branch will focused on the darker VN as the name suggest. As for Hakoniwa itself, from what I see it'll involving some sort of curse and nightmare. If anything else, at least it's nice to see that Neko Works trying to make some VN with darker story.
The first Madosoft VN that Sekai announced is Raspberry Cube, in which it's the VN that was developed after Wagahigh. Speaking of Madosoft, I realized that the hair color of the heroines are following a pattern, although seeing that the VN is still good enough as charage I suppose it didn't matter much (Or as some people saying if it ain't broken don't fix it). At least Madosot realized that drawing all heroines with big breast won't give everyone good impression to the VN, so good for them. The premise is goes like we have the MC Satoru come back into his hometown after several years away from it, and he tried to live up to his principle to do good once a day. While initially he seems to be successful to do the principle with three heroines, unfortunately Satoru's deed here seems to not working with the fourth heroine. The other notable feature is that Raspberry Cube here didn't have common route, which make this VN is like Makeover.
The second Madosoft VN announcement is Hamidashi Creative, and said VN is the one that people hoping that it would be translated. I admit that I sort of hoping that either Nekonyan or even Shiravune will took the license of it when Madosoft said that they'll localize it, but turned out that Sekai still the one who worked on it. Anyway in Hamidashi we have the return of student council setting like in Wagahigh, although this time we have our MC worked as student council president that he initially isn't ready for it because the school has a good idea to chose the president through lottery, and as the result he's at first scrambling for the help for a while before finally getting some help from the four heroines. Like Wagahigh each heroines are talented in certain field, although this time it's related to pop culture (Novelist, VA, illustrator, and VTuber). Unlike Raspberry Cube in that it has no common route, this time Madosoft decided to make a long common route.
    JAST USA
It's quite surprising that JAST here manage to announce several interesting title, and combining with their current release pace we may see the announcements will be released within reasonable time. Anyway we also have some progress from their other available project, with one of those is in regard of waiting for the developer to develop Machine Child. We also have JAST announced that they resume the work on Katahane, admitting that the work on Sumaga is going slowly, and lastly saying that Slow Project is still being worked on. We also have JAST announced another Mamomo Musume exact release date (For the info it'll be released on 25th later), and for the reminder Mamono Musume here is a series of nukige that was focused on monster girls with this Mamono Musume is focused on spider girl along with cyclops girl and harpy girl.
First announcement from JAST is Inyochu, and from what I can see it's nukige about demon hunter that will be facing a lot of monster that would be rape the hunter if they fail to exterminate it. Well not exactly my cup of tea here, but some people may find Inyochu interesting. The second announcement is Gore Screaming Show, and yes it's been speculated that JAST will license it so it's pretty much inevitable. I know that it also got fan translation project, although I suppose it's good that JAST manage to get this seeing that JAST already has doing much on the translation work compared to the project. For more info the artist for the VN is Ueda Metawo who as we know worked on Sadistic Blood and Dead Aegis, and his drawing in this VN is still good looking despite that Screaming Show here is a 16 years old VN. On the other hand though, it mean that he can draw disturbing sex scenes very well so much that you can feel on how disturbing the contents from the drawing alone.
Third announcement from JAST is one of Alcot VN called Tokyo Hero Project, and from what I can see this VN is more or less tokusatsu parody (The fact that Alcot parodied Toei logo here is the giveaway) with the MC here witness the battle between the hero and the villain cadre only to had him miss the chance for part time job. Then the MC search the new part time job, and he met with the villain boss who accept him to do the job. Turned out that the part time job is involving the MC working as the cadre with his task is battling the hero (Or rather the heroine because the hero in here is female and thus one of the love interest) with the MC using mascot powered suit. What I understand from the premise is that the MC here is more or less like Onigokko in that the MC was acted as the antagonist, although this time it's because of the job instead of being the inherited one.
The fourth announcement is from their usual partner, and said partner is Ninetail although the announced VN is not one of Venus Blood VN but instead it's Gears of Dragoon 2. I can see that some people asking on why JAST not license the first game, and if I may speculate perhaps it's because of the resolution (The first game is only at 800x600, while the second game is at 1280x720). Gears of Dragoon 2 here is the dungeon crawling RPG, and the premise is we have the MC who inherited his father wish to traverse into the dungeon in order to obtain the great power, although as we know from usual dungeon crawling RPG going to reach the final point of the dungeon won't be easy so obviously the MC ask some help from several female characters who one way or another will have sex with him (Duh). Speaking of sex scenes, seeing that it's Ninetail VN of course it still has some tentacle sex scenes.
Last but not the least we have Tokyo Necro, as in the Nitroplus VN that was released back on 2016. For Tokyo Necro itself, we'll going to have two MCs with different gender (Male and female) and four heroines, so we can say that Tokyo Necro here is half GL VN. Of course though seeing that it's Nitroplus there's more than GL story in Tokyo Necro, namely that the setting is in 2199 with the world entered the second Ice Age. In said years there's a lot of zombie with some people are capable to handle them (Necromancers), and the one who tried to fight the Necromancers are both MCs who are the member of the organization that has the goal to fight it. One day the male MC Souun encounter an amnesiac girl who remember nothing but her name is Hougyou Ilia, and seeing that Ilia was somehow targeted by Necromancers Souun decided to protect her. Obviously there'll be a lot of battle as per Nitroplus VN, and you can look forward into it later if you want some action VN.
Almost forget to mention that all of JAST announcements here already have progress. For the roundup of the progress, Inyouchu was fully translated and edited, Gore Screaming Show was at 65% translated along with 40% edited with the release planned at this year (Well let's see if JAST can do it later), Tokyo Hero Project was at 90% translated along with 40% edited, Gears of Dragoon 2 was fully translated and edited with said VN was currently in testing, and Tokyo Necro was also already fully translated and edited with the release planned at this year (Which seems more plausible compared to Gore Screaming Show release plan, but the situation may change later).
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week along with AX 2022, and sorry for being late here. See you next week.
PS - For the title, since we have Raspberry Cube along with Nekopara 5 in which it'll feature the catgirl from Nekopara 4 Fraise, I simply changed 'Raspberry' into 'Strawberry' from Raspberry Cube so we have 'Strawberry Cube' as this week VNTS Review title. For the note, 'fraise' here is the French word (Which is quite fitting seeing that Fraise was initially in French at Nekopara 4) and in English it mean 'strawberry' which is fitting with the rest of the theme naming for the catgirl in Nekopara (All of the catgirl name are based on the ingredients that were related to the sweets).

    Visual Novel Translation Status Review
Welcome to this week and since we have Akagoei (English title Guardian of Daybreak) released I decided to make a parody of the writer's another work, Ryuusei World Actor, by changing the word 'Actor' into 'Guardian', so we have 'Meteor World Guardian' (Translation Note: Ryuusei mean meteor) as this week VNTS Review title. As for what I can say this week is more or less an active one thanks to a big number of announcements courtesy of Nekonyan and to an extend Mangagamer on Anime Central 2022 (That has finally been up after two years absences because of pandemic). Of course there's also the release matter such as the aforementioned Akagoei, although if I may be blunt other than Akagoei there's no much to say in regard of it. Regardless of that, I can still say that this is an exciting week to a degree. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well.
Cherry Kiss did moved up their nukige release by four days, and no much to say other than good job to them. Love Lab revealed that they've been working on a moege called Sugar Sweet Temptation with the VN itself is usual cafe moege with the writer worked on Tsujidou and Kirikoi along with the artist worked on Amairo Chocolata duology. At least it seems to be slightly interesting, and it'll be released sometimes in autumn or winter 2022 (ie September to December). We also has some updates from Love Lab projects, in which we have Maid for Loving You was at 85% translated and they'll release Chinkamo Twins at July 1st later. Speaking of exact release date, we have JAST basically directly confirm that yes they've been working on Flowers Winter for some times and we also already have the exact release date for it at June 18th later, so you can note the date if you've been looking forward to Flowers tetralogy finale.
Mangagamer did bring two new announcements for this year Anime Central, and if I can summarize it in one word I would say that it's quite plain to say it nicely. The first announcement is The Patient S Remedy in which it's more or less BL version of Evenicle 2 with the premise the MC sperm can somehow cure the disease that can kill people within five years the doctor offer the MC to allow himself to participate in the research for the cure, and of course the MC will injecting his sperm into the other five (Male) patients. The second announcements is How a Healthy Hentai Administers Public Service in which it's the sequel of Hentai Lifestyle, and let's just say that it's a nukige with the public servant uniform here is obviously attempted to be as sexy as possible (Personally I find the uniform is quite tacky, but different stroke for different people). Lastly we have some updates on Raillore from the translator's tweet, and currently it's been fully translated along with 91.56% edited.
    Fan Translation
As for the aforementioned Akagoei, while granted that Kinugasa as the writer has been (in)famous for his open ending writing to a degree, at least we can still accept that Akagoei here is sort of justified to have open ending because actually it's the first part of the trilogy. For the premise, it has our MC Kaito who has been trained as the bodyguard that will be assigned to guard a daughters of noble families, and our Kaito here is quite an eccentric figure to say it easily so much that he initially has some problem with his employer. Anyway the patch did translate the whole Akagoei and the prologue of Akagoei FD (For the info the patch worked on the release that compile all of Akagoei trilogy), so if you've been waiting to play the first part of Akagoei trilogy then go get the patch at Daybreak Translation download page and have fun.
We also have Meikei no Lupercalia new translation project (The link to the project page) with the current progress was 22 out of 94 script files of it were translated, and we also have the patch that cover up to Chapter 2 was released. As for Lupercalia itself, it's a VN about theater in which the people were act dramatically as per usual theater. Other than that, I suppose we can say that the casts were use the theater as the way to cope with their past which to say quite dramatic to a degree. No much to say other than good luck to the translation project seeing that Lupercalia here is sort of interesting seeing that it's one of the well received VN in 2021. Note that the translator said that if there's no progress in a year it would be better to think the project as dead, so I'll try to keep my eyes on this for a year.
For the rest of the updates for fan translation, we have Chicchakunai Mon was fully translated, Ruitomo was at 16.94% translated with common route was at almost three quarter (74.75%) translated, Senmomo was at 57.13% edited with Chapter 4 was at 27.06% edited, Imaimo was at 35.1% translated with Matsuri's route was at 83.4% translated, 96.1% original lines of Summer Pocket were reworked, and Eustia was at 83.27% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 96.85% in programming. We also have some progress on Fate/Extra CCC after some time of with no visible progress, and for the info it's been fully translated so naturally the team preparing for the editing work of it. Lastly we'd past 100 script files for Mizuha's route of Ginharu was translated, or to be exact 115 out of 139 script of it was translated with 9 out of 10 sex scenes were finished.
    Nekonyan
Before going on talking about Nekonyan's announcements on their first convention, I should say that it's their right to announce as many project as possible (Six projects to be exact). That said though I would prefer if they can really work on those announcements seeing that we already have Sol Press as the example on how they took too many big projects and in they end they've been collapsed because they can't work on those projects properly, so hopefully Nekonyan here won't ended up like Sol Press. I also really hope that Anime Central 2022 here is not the first and the last convention that Nekonyan attend. Anyway let's see what I can write in regard of Nekonyan's announcements below.
The first project is Secret Agent, and it's the ensemble VN that has the MC not became the trap (He's just the normal male student) which to say may trip some people. Although on the other hand if Secret Agent here is successful, perhaps we may see ensemble VNs that have the MCs as the trap. Anyway for the premise we have our MC Jin who is the descendant of a ninja infiltrate the academy only to have his identity found out by one of the female student Kanon. Of course Kanon willingly to keep Jin's secret with one condition, namely Jin was asked to train Kanon as the ninja seeing that Kanon is quite passionate about ninja. Other things to note would be that there'll be some actions in here, this is formerly Nekonyan's 3rd secret project, and currently it's been fully edited.
Since the second project of Nekonyan is non-VN game (It's 3rd person shooter with the female MC Lorena), I'll give the update for all of Nekonyan's projects outside the one that were announced. For the updates, we have the programmer adding the feature from Yuzusoft newer VN into Dracu Riot, Makeover FD was fully edited and ready for QA, Mirai Radio engine porting work was halfway completed, Aoi Tori was fully edited, Golden Time (Kirikoi FD for the reminder) was fully translated and three quarter edited along with the release was planned at summer, and the engine porting for Clover Days were mostly done along with the release was planned at either summer or autumn. No much to say other than I hope Nekonyan will be able to release the last two (Golden Time and Clover Days) on time.
The third project of Nekonyan here is one of Saga Planet that was released before Kirikoi with the name Floral Flowlove, in which I'll just call it as FF (Not Final Fantasy for the info). As for FF, if I may borrow Ouro's word that refer the game on Kirikoi it would be 'It's about a guy who can see angel and devil wings, and he becomes entangled in political intrigue with a royal family. Add in his service to the church, him doing some serious soul-searching -- and it's teeming with titties'. Or if you just look at VNDB, it would be about the MC who can see angel and devil wings who somehow has relationship with four girls (The heroines) who are figuratively called angels. Anyway I look forward to the eventual release of this and currently it's been at 84% translated.
The fourth project of Nekonyan here is another Saga Planet VN (Yes we have two Saga Planet VNs localized) is Kakenuke Seishun Sparking. Like I'd say beforehand I already sort of wish Nekonyan localize this, although I admit the reason is simply just because I thought the school uniform in there are quite sexy like back at Natsuyume Nagisa lol. In Kakenuke we have the MC who's too focused on job so much that he thought that he didn't need youth, which obviously attract two club leader who more or less dragged the MC into their club activity in order for the MC to have youth. From what I see with summer setting and the uniform design, Saga Planet here might want to create the same atmosphere as Natsuyume. Other thing to note is that Kakenuke here is already used Kirikiri engine in which several of Nekonyan VNs used the engine, so hopefully there'll be no bothersome porting work like back at Kirikoi. As for the progress, it's been at 10% translated.
The fifth project of Nekonyan here (Or perhaps I should call penultimate announced project) is Ren'ai Royale (I'll call it as Royale from now on), which as we know is another ASa Project so obviously you should expect some comedic story here although looking from the review it seems ASa Project pushed the comedy a bit more. As for the premise, we have the MC Hirotaka was suddenly confessed by a transfer student which in turn caused some of Hirotaka's friends (His own blood related little sister, the student council president, and the junior who also an idol) react and engage in a battle royale (Well there's a reason for the title) in order to win Hirotaka's love. As for me I already expect it and sort of hoping that it'll be translated so good for Nekonyan to get this. Oh yes we already has some progress on this, and for the progress it's been fully translated along with 5% edited.
As for the last announced Nekonyan's project in which it's obviously not the least is Irotoridori no Sekai, and yes it's not the typo. I think everyone here should already know the premise, so I'll just write on the history of the project here. It's started from way back at 2012 when the first project was abandoned, and then Nekonyan (Back when they called Shinku Translation) decided to work on this only to have it officially localized by Sol Press. Then as we know Sol Press can't do more on this anymore, and thus FAVORITE finally decided to reach out Nekonyan which mean finally Irotoridori here is back to Nekonyan. History aside, with Irotoridori license it mean that Nekonyan here may license another FAVORITE VNs such as Astral Air (For a very obvious reason) or Sakuramoyu in the future so let's see if we can see it happen later. Oh yes for the project it's been fully translated and edited (Since when Sol Press worked on this) and it's currently in programming work.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.

Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have pseudo AX at this week (Because the real AX was cancelled thanks to the pandemic) I can obviously say that we'll have quite a number of announcements. Of course the number is understandably less than normal AX, but I can still say that I manage to have took my interest on some of the announcements. Other than the announcements, we also have a lot of updates from Sekai and Mangagmer especially in regard of the reveal of their secret projects. Overall this week is quite an exciting one, and let's see what I can write for this week as well.
First of all we have Sol Press update, in that unfortunately it's not their new announcements at this time like back at last year. But instead they report that the translator of Himawari no Kioku was suddenly leaving so that the project is delayed (Whatever, and that's why they should make sure that it's finished before announcing the release timeline), Nukitashi was turned out only at 22% edited because of some re-calculation, and Sakura Celebration was fully translated along with 61.5% edited. From fan translation, we have Alka planned Miagete FD release at 16th later with sex scenes in which Pulltop certainly wouldn't translate it if they license Miagete FD. In any case, I hope that they can work on sex scenes restoration at original Miagete sooner or later. For the rest of the updates, we have Miotsukushi Ura was at 60% translated, Taimanin Yukikaze 2 was at 80% translated, 7,160 lines of Pure x Connect are edited, Eustia was at 90.86% translated with side routes was at 40.71% translated, and Loverable was at 87.58% edited. Lastly we have Humbling Holy Maiden from Love Lab was at 60% translated.
    Mangagamer
Mangagamer did reveal two of their secret projects and then they gained two more secret projects, so overall the number of the secret projects is still the same. As for the revealed secret project, one of those are Jeanne and the Clock Tower aka 2nd secret project in that it's one of Liar-soft VN. The art is quite different from usual Liar-soft style, but at least the typical plot of them still remain in that one of World War 2 soldier was somehow stranded into alternative timeline of French Revolution (Or that's what I understand). In any case, I don't know on how good Jeanne is but perhaps I may know later if we have it being finally released. Since this is their 2nd secret project, it mean that there's already a lot of progress and in this case it's already finished the translating processes (Translating and editing) and currently doing the image editing. As for their other project, it's Steam Prison Fin's route aka 5th secret project in which it's the patch that will add the PSV exclusive route into PC version. Not quite interesting to me, but at least you can date one more hero in Steam Prison later. As for the progress, it's been already finished the translated process.
As for the rest of the updates, we have the 3rd secret project was fully translated along with 91% edited, 6th secret project was at 60% translated along with 55% edited, 7th secret project was at 70% translated along with 66% edited, Musicus was at 94% translated along with 92% edited (Looks like they really aim to release this in English at this year), Sona-Nyl's Refrain was past halfway (56%) translated, and Rance Quest was in testing (So perhaps it mean that it's almost ready for the release). Lastly we have another exact release date announcement from Mangagamer, and in this case it's Room No.9 with the release date at August 6th later.
    Sekai Project
We have a bunch of the updates from them, and some of those can be summarized as that they'll try to release the works at this year. Some of those VNs that they'll try to release at this year are Island Diary (At Winter later), Harumade Kururu, Koiama 2, Bokukotsu FD, and Nekopara 4 (At November). While I'm surely would like them to fulfill their promise later (Especially in regard of Harumade Kururu), I'm kind of wary with Sekai here so I'll guess that I'll just not going to expect them to release those VNs at this year. Before going to the announcement, let me try to do some roundup first. For the roundup, we have Kimagure was at 45% translated, Bokukotsu FD was in QA, Koiama 2 was have the translation and editing in progress, and that they'll upgrade (Redundant) Hoshimemo into HD version. For the announcement, we have Slobbish Dragon Princess (aka Sekai 3rd secret project) in which apparently they aim for the simultaneous release at October 30th later with the progress was at 80% translated. No much comment other than it's new Whirlpool VN, and that the MC will have the dragon girl harem.
Since we have Nine Episode 4 was released back at April in Japan and that Sekai did have the license for overseas release, it's only logical that they'll announce Nine Episode 4 sooner or later. And turned out that they just announce this after they dubbed it as their 4th secret project, with sizable progress was at 30% translated. Seeing that Episode 4 here is the grand finale of Nine, I understand that they may need some more time to translate this. In any case, for now I'll hope that Sekai will be able to release this at 2021 along with Episode 3 (Currently was past halfway (52%) translated along with 44% edited) later. As for the question why Palette released Nine in episodic, I think the answer is that so the writer can build the world and the setting bit by bit, and it's very important seeing that it might be possible that the writer still didn't have the full concept of the story at the beginning (Back when he wrote Nine Episode 1 obviously). I'll look forward to this, if only for Tsubasu's arts.
    Other
We also have age give us the updates as well, in which one of those are the release date for Photonmelodies that will be released at 30th later. Other than Photonmelodies, we also have Muv-Luv Unlimited - The Day After in which it's basically compiled four Muv-Luv Alternative Chronicle into one releases, and as for the release date the plan was to release it at this year. While those two announcements surely would give us more Muv Luv world building, personally I just see those as fandiscs and that first half part of Day After is basically redundant because we already have first and second Alternative Chronicle are already translated (And that Alternative itself is conclusive enough). If anything else, at least Muv Luv fans would be happy with the announcements.
For the last announcement, since the VN is a nukige I'll just ignore this. Or that's what I would say if the nukige name is not Venus Blood Hypno (Localized as Venus Blood Hollow) in that I've been quite interested with it. As for the premise itself, we'll going to have our MC who basically tried to took revenge by corrupting the heroines one by one together with his loyal subordinates and from what I understand apparently the story would be quite dark even for Venus Blood standard. Another Venus Blood staple would obviously will be present here, and it's the tentacle for the reminder. From what I see at Youtube video, the gameplay was apparently the improved version of Frontier which is good to me seeing that I like the gameplay back at Frontier. Like back at Frontier, Ninetail would work together with JAST in order to work on this VN and that they'll do the Kickstarter again. As for when they'll do it, it'll be at autumn although still no exact month (They estimated that they'll do it at either September or October later). In any case, I'll keep my eyes on the KS later and I'll look forward to the eventual release of Hypno here.
That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.
PS - For the title, since we have Nine Episode 4 announcement and that Kakeru's VA is also Index's Touma's VA (Atsuhi Abe), I decided to parodied the spinoff of Index 'A Certain Scientific Railgun'. I also change 'Railgun' into 'Eleanore', simply because Eleanore is the name of one of five woman that you'll corrupt in Hypno and that Eleanore herself is a typical scientist.
  16. littleshogun
Welcome to VNTS Review, and as for this week I can say that it's more lively compared to the last week. The reasons is simply because we have man announcements and one of those announcement is Baldr Sky Steam store that was finally opened, although right now I'm quite anxious in that there's high chance that they'll censor it. Other than Baldr Sky Steam store, we have Seven Days release date announcements as well in which it's sort of Conjueror's Swan Song because it's his last translation job besides Rewrite+ before he doing the action that ended his life. We also have Mangagamer and fan translation updates as well, and JAST also join the updates here with them announced Kimikoi release month at February later. Let's see what I can write for this week here, and I'll explain the title at PS later (Of course it's not because Winged Cloud released yet another their Sakura VN, although I appreciate them though in that their recent VNs MC are always female instead of faceless male).
For Baldr Sky Steam store, let's just say that I have mixed feeling on that. The reason is definitely not because Sekai still set the release date as soon (I understand if they need more time to polish the engine), but rather it's because apparently it'll be censored according to the rumor. While I can just dismiss the rumor as nonsense, I start to see that there's some indication that the release will be lack of sex scenes. The silent response from Sekai there didn't really help at all, and in fact it make it worse. In the end, if the censorship must be happen, then I'll obviously blame GIGA because it mean that they're the same as Pulltop and that Sekai releases always have 18+ patch add on. So for now I just hope that whatever GIGA planned in regard of the replacement for the sex scenes should be worth the trouble if the censorship is inevitably happened, and if it's very important to them. At least I can say that the font is far better compared to what we see at Baldr Force which show a hard work from Sekai's programmer, seeing that the engine is supposed to be very hard to crack.
I'm not surprised to see that JAST delsy both of Katahane and Flowers Autumn releases seeing that the autumn is already over and that there's no word about those two, but instead I'm very surprised with JAST suddenly announced that their Kimikoi are already ready for the release at February later. For more info, they also already have the pre-order for that. So if you want to see on why Kimikoi here is occasionally alluded as well known Doki Doki Literature Club predecessor and want to see 'passionate Hitomi Nabatame-voiced love-making' scenes (And moreso if Baldr Sky is really censored later on), you can do the preorder at JAST's site. For now I'll just hope that JAST didn't delay Kimikoi release at February later.
From Mangagamer, we have some updates from them at their usual biweekly updates. The updates are Sukehime was fully edited, Rance 02 was halfway edited, Sona-Nyl was at 55% edited, WanNyan image editing was completed, and Sakuramori was about to enter the testing soon. Out of those announcements, I'm interested with Sakuramori the most so I hope that the testing for it would be going well.
We have Ninetails released the new demo for Frontier, so perhaps you may try the new demo before decided whether you'll get Frontier that'll be released at 20th later or not. Speaking about the upcoming releases, we have a rerelease of a nukige by Cherry Kiss at this month (I'll just say that it's a redundant one because it's already fantranslated), and Seven Days at two days later (13th) in which it's been famous as the VN that was created from the crowdfund. I have not much to say other than I hope the releases will be successful.
For the fan translation, currently we finally have Loverable was past three quarters (75.22%) edited and Miotsukushi Omote waa at 68% translated. We also have new project with the current progress was at almost halfway (49.7%) translated, and the VN in question is Chiccakunai Mon in which apparently it's a loli nukige so you may need to be very open minded if you want to play this later (I'll pass this anyway). Lastly we have a surprise new Amayui rough patch release that apparently translated 63% of the narration and that it's still not TLC-ed, which is fine enough to me seeing that I already survive Soukoku no Arterial 'translation'. While it sounds good enough, unfortunately I can't check in regard on how much the narration that was translated so let's just say that I'll pass on Amayui's partial patch here until there's a 100% translated narration patch in the future (Whether it's fully TLC-ed or not).
That's all for this week VNTS Review, and sorry for being late here. See you next week.
PS - For the title, the 'Sakura' part here is obviously from Sakuramori. As for the 'Literature Club' here, it's in regard of Kimikoi release month announcement which as we know it have similar twist like a certain very well known free OELVN (Doki Doki Literature Club).

    Visual Novel Translation Status (07/08/2017)
I'll be combined both of this week VNTS Review and my opinion in regard of AX into this blogpost here, and let me say welcome to this week VNTS Review (I'll tell the the title at PS later if some of you were somehow curious). As for this week, first of all there's quite a lot of announcement from AX and the genre was quite widespread from my observation (Including otome and BL VNs), and there's also the matter that many of those announced title were in development. Overall, for this time I think I was quite content with AX as of now (Even with some redundant announcements) and let's see what I could write here in regard both of this week and AX.
    JAST USA
JAST, well once again good thing that I didn't expect much from them in regard of AX lol, although I still give some credit for them though for announced the estimated timeline for their in translation title if those weren't delayed later. As for the updates, JAST promised us that they'll release Eiyuu Senki this summer, Katahane remake at early 2018, Princess X at this autumn, and Flowers Summer arc at winter (Quite ironic I knew, but at least it'll be appropriate at Australia later because it'll be summer there lol. About 60% translated according to Meru right now). What I knew for now is that all of the release date were vague, but at least we could always treat those as the estimated time when JAST would release those (Maybe there'll be sudden release for those VNs later). Anyway, out of those four I think I just keep my eyes on Flowers for now.
For the announcement, well at least it's only one redundant announcement instead of two if I may say something about JAST there lol (Keep in mind that was my opinion). Note that it wasn't improvement in regard of announcement number from the last year though, because JAST was only announced two titles compared to three titles at last year. The redundant announcement by JAST in question was Majikoi, in which it was already translated since back at 2015 by the team from here and this is the translation thread. Although I may said it redundant, Majikoi was definitely one of big VN that many people wanted to be fully translated in the past (So much that the thread was exploded to around 37 pages then shortened to 2 pages, because too many people posted encouragement word there).
For a history trivia, Majikoi was one VN that had many translation history started with when Takajun translated 4 out of 5 main routes, then he translated the 85% of the 5th main route and he disappeared after saying that he must work around 12 to 13 hours (He still had work or not I didn't knew). Then it was picked by the team at Fuwanovel here, and finally once again we had 2015 release comprised of both of Takajun and new team translation. Almost forget that Peter Payne himself tried to pick this back at VNDB (2014), and back then I was afraid that it mean it'll be taken by JAST (JAST was already infamous for slow release even back then iirc). Well, in the end it it didn't really change the fact that Majikoi announcement was redundant to me here though, although if they announced it back at 2014 maybe it'll be different there. Good luck to the new team (Maji Translation) there if they really retranslated Takajun translation, and hopefully the translation could satisfy the fan that want Majikoi to be officialy localized.
Another announcement from JAST was Machine Child. No much info to me here other than the illustrator was Oyari Ashito (Romanesque, Quartett), the gameplay was like Princess Maker, and it was still in development (Apparently Oyari want to make this game from long time ago according to one source iirc). Not my interest to said it lightly there.
    Fan Translation
Well obviously there wasn't any announcement from this section back at AX, although since Sekai was used to be fan translator maybe I should add those announcement from Sekai here. Joking aside, this week they still had some usual updates here so let's see what's updates that we had for this week. The updates goes like we had Sansha Mendan was at almost 90% translated (89.4% translated); Eustia was at 17.63% translated (11.19% edited and 10.28% TLC-ed); Koiken Otome fandisc did had Shiho's route was at 45% translated (By the way, the new name for the translator group was 'Dergonu-sama and his kawaii crew' which is quite interesting name lol); Loverable was at 78.01% translated (Nanako's route was at 42.19% translated), 20.73% edited, and 45.31% TLC -ed; and Majokoi was at 89.7% translated, 63.6% TLC-ed, and 88.2% edited (Fred also said that the translator for Hijiri's route was started to work so that's should be the good news for Majokoi, although he also warned that if all progress was at 100% didn't mean that it was over).
For the rest, right now Tsui Yuri was facing a difficult technical problem so there wouldn't be any progress from them now, and hopefully they would be able to overcame it. As for Amagami, I think it was quite nice dedication there that they kept translating it after several years, and the VN itself was apparently quite good. Although too bad that it was for console though so I wouldn't be interested to that (My laptop couldn't handle PS2 emulator if I may say my honest reason). Oh, and by the way in regard of inserting voice for Ataraxia, I admit that they were quite fast and right now they estimated that by September it would be ready for release. As for Tsujidou, right now Ai's route was at 11.18% translated and overall translation was at 22.69% translated. Not much that I could comment in regard of Tsujidou progress for this week unfortunately, but at least it's stable enough for now.
    That's all for fan translation.
    Other
Considering that only Frontwing that had interesting announcements (ie updates), maybe I better call this section 'Frontwing' lol. Back to topic, I'd pretty much didn't interested with Akysys announcements there (All of those were otome, and for Vita to boot) but if you either otome or BL fan then those announcements would be good for you. Also if some people here look forward to seeing translated Chaos Child, be happy because the estimated release time was already announced (At September later).
For Frontwing, I would said that Subahibi wasn't new announcement because it was already known back at February. Subahibi aside, let's see what Frontwing had for this AX. This time Frontwing announced Momoiro Closet and two secret projects, which would be revealed later. As for Momoiro Closet, didn't had much info for now other than apparently it'll had female MC which was a student council president, a daughter of good politician, and an otaku; MC will met with a man who also an otaku as well; and it was still in development. Not quite interested with Momoiro for now, but I think both of Frontwing secret projets could be Hatsumira (Written by Fujisaki Ryuta by the way) and Yuki Koi Melt (Yukikoi) if only those two did had planned English release, and both of Hatsumira and Island had a man who was standed at the unknown land - also there's a hint of the secret projects was suggest the similarities between Island and one of secret projects. Keep in mind that it was just my speculation at the secret projects, and therefore it might be wrong (It was too obvious anyway).
As for Subahibi, it was good that they finally release it at end August later. It did had small controversy though, namely that the bestiality scenes was censored because it was too brutal to be shown to the reader. I think what I could say is that I prefer them to censor yaoi sex scene to be honest instead of bestiality, but it's not like those two scenes were had bigger part in the overall story anyway. But since they already decided that, I guess not much we could do here and I would like to see whether there would be the patch to uncensored bestiality or not. Quite interesting release that we must buy the first chapter for $30, then we got the rest of the VN as 18+ patch which mean that Frontwing didn't managed to find another easy way to fit it on Steam without removing the sex scenes in the first place - understandable though because it could be hard to felt disturbed if one removed the sex scenes, and yaoi and bestiality aside some of sex scenes could be disturbing to said it lightly.
As for Herkz comments in regard of Subahibi translation, to put it bluntly he was the one that people called him infamous troll along with Moogy iirc so I think it didn't matter whatever opinion that he had in regard of Subahibi release - also looks like he had some personal grudge from back when Frontwing release Chiru Chiru without his permission. Also if I may be blunt, once again his twitter just looks like he had some tantrum like Aroduc back at September last year. I admit that perhaps Herkz had some point behind his tantrum, but regardless I'd pretty much okay with whatever translation that Subahibi had.
Oh, by the way Island release was delayed to 2018 in order to coordinate it with anime adaptation. Maybe I should check anime season list for next year. And even if this wasn't in AX, MoeNovel did said that they had new project, although looking at their previous titles (Except Konosora, but that's another case) I wouldn't said that I interested with the new title very much.
    Sekai Project
I give them point for not make me shocked like last year in regard of their announcements lol. Back to topic, this year once again they had many announcements although most of the projects were still in development though. Oh, and they also had Denpa announced that they would had 18+ version for Sekai announcement so at least from now on we didn't need to worry anymore in regard of 18+ version of Sekai announcement (Probably). Before going to the announcements, let's see what update that they had first. For the update other than usual Bokuko slight update, Sekai announced that they would release Saku Saku at autumn and Baldr Sky duology in one package at early next year (2018). Oh, and if some of you look forward to play Wagahigh, look forward to 25th because Sekai will release Wagahigh at that date. I would still wary of delay for those three though, but for now let's just wait and see.
As for the announcements summary for in development VNs, didn't think that Island Diary would be interesting, and so does with Eternal. As for Novectale, interesting that they chose to had partnership with Sekai and this time they had new VN (Nakarma) in development. They don't have the detail yet, but apparently they would had underground setting which had some humanoid creature, and it also would had tabletop RPG gameplay so I think it'll be quite interesting. Forgot to say that at least Novectale didn't dependent on Fata Morgana as I worried about beforehand. For the Ninja Girl (The full title was mouthful lol) the girls were kinda cute, but my focus is to the writer himself which also wrote Harumade Kururu which is quite interesting - by the way, I already knew that Harumade wasn't a nukige in the first place and quite interested with that. Too bad that it wasn't announced by Denpa here. I think for now I would like to just wait and see here in regard both of Nakarma and Ninja Girl.
No comment for Rewrite+ here, although apparently it got new scenes and improved writing though, so it might be good if one want more Rewrite (To me just another redundant announcement here). Apparently it was got the new translator which he would translating it from the scratch instead of using Ixrec translation, although either way my opinion was still didn't care much though. Quite interesting though that Visual Arts finally working together with Sekai.
As for Nanairo Reincarnation, the premise was like a university student was living together with many youkai at his home, because his family was also had task to calmed a wondering spirits. I did heard some good thing in regard of Nanairo, so I'm gonna look forward to this one. Same goes with Senren Banka as well, if only because of the graphic and interesting opening song. Forgot to said that while the premise was quite epic looking - MC was the chosen one who could take the sword from the rock, and the sword turned out to be a little girl, I think I'm just gonna expect this as charage/moege one instead of story VN because I saw many review that was disappointed because they expect an epic story, and turned out it was just normal charage in the end of heroines route. Forgot to said that both of those announcements would be had 18+ content, and so does Tenshin Ranman which Denpa announced as well.
Congratulations to the Decay and his team in regard of Dracu Riot official announcement. As for my opinion, since we already had leaked patch here I didn't shocked like last year when Saku Saku was announced. For a little history lesson, Dracu Riot was translated by Insem first before he stopped giving some progress and after 31 months Insem finally give ~90% translated patch. Of course, just like Majikoi there's a team that willing to continue translated the rest of Miu's route (Decay was one of the member), and then Decay found out that the problem with the translation was quite severe. Of course he planned to doing some editing start from the beginning after Miu's route was fully translated, but back at September last year the patch was leaked and Decay was upset. Long story short, the patch was taken down and Sekai was announced Dracu Riot. Quite interesting that even with leaked patch, there're still some people that was complained about official release although it wasn't as severe as back when Saku Saku announced though. Well, in the end I would said good luck to Decay there and also it's up to Decay if he want to going official or not. By the way, Dracu Riot will also got 18+ version.
Forgot to said that I didn't care for Denpasoft new VNs here by the way, because those two VNs were only short nukige. Also turn out that Harumade Kururu illustrator came to Denpa panel in order to announced his new project (Island Diary).
    Mangagamer
Once again Mangagamer did won by had the  most interesting announcement to me here (They only announced 3 new title and 2 in production title). But before going to the announcement, let's see what update they had for this week.
As for the updates, Hapymaher was at 85% translated and 78% edited, Maggot Bait was at 42% translated, Hashihime was at 76% translated, Boukaku was almost finished the testing, and Naked Butler was about to do the testing. For secret projects, the 2nd was at 91% translated and the 3rd was at 71% translated and 68% edited. Didn't care for Umineko hardcopy announcement, but if you look forward for Evangile W wait until 28th because Mangagamer will be released it at 28th later. That's all for the update.
For the AX announcements, let's start with Space Life which showed us of how money grubbing Circus were. Okay Circus was already like that in the past with Da Capo, but one thing to note that even back at Da Capo they still had some flat chested heroine (This trait was extended to Dal Segno), while in here all of the heroines were had big chest. Well I knew that I sounded like a pervert here, but one thing is that MoeNovel did had same strategy in regard of the heroines bust size (Quite big) so I would said that Circus was following MoeNovel footstep (It's their business strategy though I think). Anyway, as for the premise it's quite....... interesting I guess with big breasted sexualized internet browser thing (I bet that Internet Explorer woman was the slowest out there lol). Let's just wait and see about this for now in regard of the release, and by the way it's already completed both of translation and editing progress.
For Itaru Hinoue new project, I think it might be not good if we just looking at the writer, because the writer himself apparently was still new. I think in regard of VN, the writer should be the one that had the most influence with the story or if not then it's director job to do that. I still don't knew of how good Itaru project would be turned out, considering that her position should be only an illustrator. Then again, maybe the writer would show his potential later though although to be safe I won't expect much with Hinoue VN, even with apparently an interesting premise (It's a nakige apparently).
Back at March iirc, Mangagamer did had some hints which directed towards marriage. The hints was 'something four' which was associated with the marriage (Don't mind if wiki call it something old). Well, turned out that three of four secret projects that was revealed at AX did had marriage theme to some extend. The most obvious one was Moonstone's Magical Marriage Lunatic aka the 3rd secret project, in which we had our MC who was quite a playboy because he was make a childhood promise to five girls from each different dimensions (MC was stranded out to different dimension). Then each girls were coming to MC's dimension vowing to marry him, and even worse his childhood friend (Obviously a girl) declared rivalry against the marriage vows. By the way, the girls from different dimension were goddess, vampire, tenko, witch, and succubuss. I must admit that Marriage get good graphic like Evangile and the opening song was very interesting remix of wedding march, but unfortunately I'd heard that it wasn't quite good compared to two other Mangagamer announcement, so I'll pass this for now.
For less obvious one in regard of marriage, there's Damekoi aka the 4th secret project in which it was quite good and widely accepted. Also quite hard to translate because the writer was also would write White Album 2, which according to Moogy quite hard to translate. Of course since it was hard to translate, we had our Garejei and Conjueror duo to handle the translation and right now it was already completed at both of translating and editing. Anyway, the premise was like there was an apparently useless man (At 28 by the way) was get fired and get divorced as well (A dark aspect of marriage), and starting to pull himself together while living with a girl who still at 16 yet already more mature and responsible, if only because her mother left her. From now on the pair would likely face some challenge to overcame their trouble. I look forward to this VN if you ask my opinion.
The last announcement here was Evenicle aka the 2nd secret project. It's pretty obvious that Arunaru would handle this one (Because this is Alice Soft RPG), and I think he would be finished this year considering that it was at 91% translated already (The editing need to be catch up though). As for the VN, it had polygamy which is a situation where a man could had more than one wives. The premise was we had our MC want to be knight so he could marry more than one girl, and the MC himself was quite pervert (Nicer than Rance though, although he was quite a playboy). Didn't care about Senran Kagura thing to be honest, but I already tried this and it was quite addictive (I mean Evenicle). Forgot to said that also there's a hint that directed toward Evenicle here actually, but I thought that it would be Drapekoi lol. Looking forward to Evenicle in English here.
That's all for overall my AX commentary and this week VNTS Review. See you next week.
PS - For the title since we had vampire at Dracu Riot I decided to parodying Twilight once again, and combining it with Reincarnation from 'Nanairo Reincarnation' so we got 'Twilight Reincarnation' here (Quite simple I knew).
  18. littleshogun
Foreword - No VNTS again because the deadline for Sanoba release is only 18 days left, so as usual I decided to make another VNTS Review here. I hope that you'll enjoy this week review from mine as well.
Since we have an exciting announcement from Pulltop along with Koropokkur release at the last week, I decided to just combined the word from those two title. As for 'in Love' it was in regard of the full name for Koropokkur which is 'Koropokkur in Love', while for 'Tatarigami' it was because Pulltop's new announcement in which turned out to be yet another their Sakura expy VN and this time the subtitle was not very subtle (Healing Harem) with the focus on three tatarigami want to marry a man who is coincidentally our MC (Duh). Anyway after the good announcements from the last week, this week was pretty much quite a plain one although we also have an update from Tsurezure though which of course always welcomed. As for the release, while this week we have more compared to the last week, unfortunately none of the release were big one so I think it's more or less just another usual week. Let's see what I can write for this week as well.
This week we have both of Harem Guild release, and the exact date for Steins Gate Elite release date was announced at February 19th later (Obviously at 2019). Well what I can say is that both news were pretty much redundant to me, so I'm more or less just pass on those two. Speaking about harem, once again Pulltop did announced their own Sakura expy (LoveKami) and this time they decided to be not so subtle about the title here (Healing Harem). The premise was just like I said earlier, that three tatarigami want to marry the MC so I think I didn't need to talk more about the VN itself. If anything at least this time I agree with Pulltop that this is an exciting announcement, mostly because it's not a big title and therefore I could just ignore it considering that Pulltop here most likely will released it with additional H scenes while we still got censored version for overseas release. In case you want to purchase Healing Harem take a note that Pulltop will release it at this autumn, and at the same time Pulltop did announced that they'll released Konosora FD at winter later.
We also have two releases from Sekai, which is quite unusual although the releases in question were more or less just a small one though albeit with some gimmick. The title in question is Innocent Forest, which tell the story about a mysterious girl with the name Luciel who interact with two man through two VNs (Innocent Forest itselves is released as duology for the info). What I can say is that the production value for that is quite low and the graphic itself was not quite good, and the gimmick was definitely didn't help at all with the VR device was necessary to play this (Too expensive for now). So overall what I can say is that this year Sekai releases were quite underwhelming compared to the other companies to me, but at least we have them apparently already finished with Nanairo's QA so if we lucky perhaps we could get that released at this year.
Nekonya did have another updates at this week, and as for the updates roundup we have Aokana was at 12% translated, HGB was fully translated, and Sanoba was finished with the editing and TLC progress along with 95% QC-ed so at least we could see that they indeed focusing on getting Sanoba release on time. Also if we look at Frontier KS, as usual it did well with the gathered fund was at almost three quarter of the goal with 11 days left (In yen the gathered fund was at 12,306,667 out of 16,665,000), so it should be possible that the KS would be quite successful although keep in mind that the situation might be change though.
The releases from fan translation section was quite mediocre to say it lightly, although the full translation for Umineko Tsubasa is of course should be good if we want to see more Umineko content. As for Gakuen Heaven 2 congratulations for the team, although since the VN in question was a BL one let's just say that I'm more or less just pass on that (You can get that though if some member here want to read some BL). We also have the release of three nukige VNs which is quite sudden, so obviously we have three more nukige translated. I guess some people out there might appreciate those nukige VNs, although once again I'll just pass on those three. In the end, while more or less I'm not quite interested with the releases, but if you want to read those then I hope that you'll have fun out there.
For this week roundup from fan translation updates, we have Eustia was at 53.71% translated, Harugi's overall was at 21% translated with Tonoko's route was at 90% translated and Branch was at 31% translated (Along with 23% edited), Loverable was at 42.48% edited along with 22.47% QC-ed, Pure Pure was at 86.10% translated with Tobari's route was past halfway (55.14%) translated, and Yoigoshi was at 27% translated. For the last update, we have Tsurezure did fully translate the common route of Hoshiori with overall progress was at 8.08% translated, and they'll release the common route patch at the next week. Along with that as expected Tsurezure also say that they'll announce the route order for the translation (I did guess that they'll announce the route order when the common route patch is released), and looks like they'll going to have release the patch for each heroines so I'll call the full patch for Hoshiori with whoever route that Tsurezure will translate last.
That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.

    Visual Novel Translation Status (07/02/2018)
Foreword - Finally after one month absence (The longest waiting time so far) we have another VNTS here, and as expected both of admin Tay and Decay schedule from the last month was pretty hectic so they couldn't provide VNTS for most of the last month. So here's my VNTS Review for the last week with proper VNTS, and I hope you'll enjoy this.
Like I say before, finally we have VNTS here in which it mean that there's a lot to catch up on the main page. Although even without factoring one month absence, there's still a lot of catch up here because we got many updates and release in span of a week since my last VNTS Review. As for the title, since we have releases for both of Evenicle and Chaos Child I decided to make this week title as a parody for Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle dub name (Chronicle of the Wings), so we have 'Chronicle of Shibuya's Madness' as this week VNTS Review. For more elaboration here, the 'Chronicle' part was from Evenicle in which it was actually the acronym from 'Eve's Chronicle', and for 'Shibuya's Madness' it was come from the Chaos Child in which we have the in-game serial murder case known as 'New Generation Madness' with the crime locations was at Shibuya. With that done, welcome to this week VNTS Review and like I said at last VNTS Review as expected we have a lot of juicy updates and releases here, so overall this week is more interesting compared to the last week. So let's see what I can write for this week as well.
    Sekai Project
Congratulation to Sekai in regard of their big release at this week Maitetsu for both of all age version and 18+ version, although unfortunately the later release was damaged by major mistake that Sekai made. While at the very least they still the sex scenes intact, the panty shot and the nipple was getting censored. While at the very least Sekai is slightly better than Pulltop, unfortunately it still shown of how incompetent that Sekai were because they somehow mixed the console version for 18+ version, something that should be easily prevented if Sekai did one last check before QA-ing it. As for the fix, I read that Sekai there was apparently bounded by the contract or something like that, so they can't do anything to the released VN and therefore we need to wait for a while before finally get it uncensored.
While the censorship here is quite alarming for Sekai competence there, personally I could less care if they only censoring nipple and panty shot as long the sex scenes is still intact, and I prefer that if we can talk about the story itself. As for the story itself, it'll be revolving around revitalizing old small city around the station by using the titular train which somehow managed to become the girl, even though it was mitigated by the fact that the girl is an android AI who operated the train instead of the real train. Well whatever, and if some of you decided to ignore the controversy behind Maitetsu and play it right now, have fun. For the last word here, actually I'm interested with a lot of opening in Maitetsu here, although unfortunately the good production value for that was overshadowed by the news about Sekai incompetence.
    Other
We also have Venus Blood Frontier prefundia there with the base goal was at 125,000 in which it was pretty high, and if I remember the last time we have KS with base goal past 100,000 was back at Libra the Vampire Princess KS. While the number itself is quite high, at least it's justified because apparently they're on their own as this is actually Ninetales first experience to do their localization. While it's quite questionable that they managed to have KS for a game that was full of tentacle rape (Granted the sex contents were cut, but still), I hope that the KS will be successful so good luck to the KS. As for the estimated release time, it'll be at Summer 2019 later so it's gonna be a while before we finally see the release. I'll report the KS updates for Frontier if available later, and forget to say that at least we didn't have ridiculous tier that we can have a dinner with the illustrator for Frontier here (I look at you Koropukkur).
Other than Frontier KS, we have a bunch of updates from Nekonyan in which unfortunately we saw HGB will be delayed to November because lack of translator from the last month. Of course there's more update other than HGB delay and it was in regard of Sanoba release, in which they announced the estimated exact release date at October 26th later, and I'll be interested to see whether Nekonyan can fulfill this or not. We also have a plan for Fureraba complete edition release, in which Nekonyan will combined the main game and the fandisc into one package along with additional contents from Fureraba PSV version. For the release timeline, Fureraba complete edition will be released after fandisc release if you're curious about the release time, so it might be around autumn or early winter at the latest. For the last update from Nekonyan, we'll going to have two big titles from them and they'll going to announced that at August later. While for now it's still unknown what the titles are, if we following Shinku translation it might be possible that both of the projects were Astral Air and Irotoridori, and if that's true than it mean that Favorite will be added to the list of company that left Sekai.
Almost forget that we have Sprite tweeting something in regard of 'overseas transplants' for Aokana after the news said that they were in deep, but whether it'll be in regard of the dubbing of anime version of Aokana or the VN localization I'll just wait and see for now (It's good though if they localized the VN, because it's been cursed for a while). Also we have a release for this section at this week, and it was only an otome for PSV version so I'll just pass on the release (Have fun though if you have PSV for play that).
    Mangagamer
Interesting to see that we have another update from Mangagamer two weeks after their last update, which mean that perhaps we'll gonna see biweekly update from them again after AX later. As for the updates roundup here, we have Son-Nyl was at almost halfway (49%) translated, Kyonyuu Fantasy 2 was at 68.3% translated and 67% edited, Tsui Yuri was finished the beta testing so it'll be enter the queue for the release, Amatarasu was at 34% edited, Maggot Bait was at 89.4% translated, Steam Prison was both fully translated and edited, and Trinoline was at 74% edited. I think that's all for Mangagamer's update roundup here.
Other than updates roundup earlier, we also have a big release from them in which it's obviously Evenicle back at June 28th. While Evenicle itself was may not as epic as Rance X (Both of those were from Alice Soft for the info), I would say that it managed to be a good standalone RPG compared to Rance. As for Evenicle, the premise was that our MC Aster was have very simple goal namely that he wants to marry both of his childhood friends only to be stopped by the rule that he can only marry one girl in the lifetime, so from there Aster search a way to become the knight in order to allow him to marry more than one female. While the premise sounds like an excuse plot for harem nukige VN thing, actually Evenicle itself is a RPG so obviously we'll going to have some gameplay and fighting there, and of course cliche JRPG story which may be nostalgic for some people. Forget to say that the character design was resembled Senran Kagura characters, and the reason was because Senran Kagura artist also did design characters for Evenicle here (At least some of girls breast didn't as big as Senran Kagura characters). Have fun for playing Evenicle if you already got that.
    Fan Translation
As for this week, like Mangagamer and Sekai we also have a big release from this section. But before that let's see what update that we have for this week. For the updates, right now Eustia was at 47.36% translated, Loverable was at 77.88% TLC-ed and 39.56% edited, and Harugi's Main was at 38% translated (Bringing overall progress to 5% translated) along with the prologue was at 73% translated. Other than those three, there's Shin Koihime Musou still have some increased translated and edited line counts although the percentage is still static though (95% translated and 28% edited respectively). Before going to the big release, let me say congratulation for the release of Alice otome VN after three years of work. Here's their homepage if you want to get the patch, and as usual I'll just pass on this one since this is otome and all. Have fun though if you want to play Alice VN here, and at least it was available for PC in the first place instead of console only like most of the otome.
As for something interesting that I was talk about at the last VNTS Review, it was in regard of Chaos Child translation port patch in which it add the PS4/PSV translation into the PC version, and obviously it mean that finally we'll be able to play Chaos Child without using the console here. As for Chaos Child premise, once again it was in regard of one high school students and his female friends (With varied circumstances) who investigate the murders that eerily resembled the murders back at Chaos Head, so much that the in-game murder was dubbed as '2nd Incarnation of New Generation Madness'. Like both of Chaos Head (Chaos Child here is some sort of spiritual sequel for Chaos Head) and Steins Gate, it did have some sci-fi element and more importantly shared same setting. Get the patch from Committeeof0 homepage here (I like that Committeeof0 did their countdown at their Twitter eight days before the release), and have fun playing Chaos Child at PC there.
That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.

    Visual Novel Translation Status (06/04/2018)
Sorry for the belated VNTS Review here, and yeah it's good that we managed to have VNTS on time again. As for this week, I struggling to find the title but after did some Googling in regard of zombie anime, I decided to settled with simply parodying the zombie anime title that I find (Shikabane Hime) into 'Shikabane Office Lady' (TL Notes: Shikabane mean corpse) in which it was the profession of the woman in image header, and yes she was a zombie there (No spoiler). As for this week, well perhaps we can say that recently it's been quite lacking to said it bluntly. That said, we still have some good announcement for this week though, so let's see what I can write for this week as well.
As for this week, we have Sekai (Or rather Denpasoft which mean the VN will have H scenes obviously) announced 'I Walk Among Zombies' in which it'll depict the post apocalyptic world with our MC is immune to become zombie, while most of the population in the world is already turned into the zombies. Not quite interesting to me even with the good looking graphic and interesting premise, but what's happened behind the announcement is quite interesting. The reason is because at this week we have a user here announced that he was going to translate this, only to refuted by some members here that there's already an official project for this so obviously this VN couldn't be picked for fan translation project. I'm more convinced that Denpa here is announced this quickly in order to answer the project, because usually they would like to announced something at conventions and I think this is the first time they announced the license outside the convention.
Other than Zombie VN, we have both of Maitetsu and Starnova awaiting the approval from Steam and seeing that Steam have some controversial action that was cause by paranoia of the new law, safe to say that perhaps it'll take a while before approved - but at least it mean that those two VNs were almost ready for the release (Probably). For now I just hope that the releases would be successfully get the approval without much problem from Sekai side.
Tayutama 2 release was delayed as expected, so it's not surprising lol. No much comment on this, other than maybe I better don't much hoping that SakuraGame will have any release on time (Major translation problem in their VNs aside). We also have Neighbor was at three quarter translated, and Muv Luv Alternative 18+ patch release plan in which it'll be at sometime in this month (To me it's just a redundant release though, but if you purchase MLA from Steam and want 18+ content then good for you). From Venus Blood Frontier, we already have a date when Ninetail will launch prefundia, which is at 26th later. From Frontwing, as expected they'll have Phantom Trigger volume 5 in which it'll be depict our ninja girl Murasaki and presumably her dark past. I just hope that Frontwing will allow us to have a glimpse on Haruto's past now that they create the chapter for his childhood friend. Here's the tweet from Frontwing for the proof. For the last news, we have Tsundere Idol release in which it's just a short nukige, although considering that recently Steam was give warnings to any VN with some nudity it's quite surprising that we can still get that at Steam (Of course we can get 18+ version on Fakku as well).
From Mangagamer we have Kuroinu release, in which it's not that interesting if you're not into VNs with many hardcore sex scenes. Anyway, it was also the closing game to all of Kuroinu that Mangagamer released it beforehand, so if you want a complete Kuroinu or just want to complete it go get that from Mangagamer. However with this release came another release announcement, in which it was Mangagamer current practice that they'll announced their next release each time they release a VN. In which case it's Evenicle and the exact release date would be at 28th later, so more or less I can say that I'm looking forward to it. Also just in case some of you looking forward to Damekoi I would say that now we have Koropukkur will be released at Autumn later, then it leave Winter (Or in this case Christmas) to have Damekoi release if they still want it released at this year - although of course if they want to release it far early than may guess that I would be more than fine with that as well (I'm also looking forward to Damekoi by the way).
As of this week, we have Eustia was at 44.75% translated along with both editing and TLC progress was at 33.59%. Also after two weeks with no update because the translator was quite busy with school, finally we have Pure Pure update with current progress was at 74.41% translated for overall script while for Hinata's route it was at 89.44% translated (Still rough one for the reminder). For Harugi, right now common route for branch school was at 7% and the prologue was at 46% edited. From LxC 2, we have an update from Quof that right now he managed to finished translating Hime's route, and too bad that right now he couldn't do anything other than waiting because the image insertion is still not done yet. We also have one surprise release and it's nukige Hajimete no Okaa-san in which we have a daughter tried to woo her father after her mother dead with the result that the daughter became pregnant, and the daughter in question is still looking like underage. For the last update, we have Committee of 0 promising us that they'll deliver Chaos Child patch at this month according to their tweet. While granted that it may change, for now I think it should be good that at least we have estimation month release for Chaos Child patch, so I'm gonna keep my eyes on that.
That's all for this week, and sorry for being late here. See you next week.

    Visual Novel Translation Status (05/27/2018)
Foreword - I'm glad that after two weeks absence we finally have proper VNTS, so here's my review for this week VNTS.
Since we have Sakura Sadist release at this week and SakuraGame announced a chunige with Norse mythology theme Fortissimo, I decided to make the title as 'Sakura Valkyrie' because we knew that usually in each of Norse mythology we should heard about the war goddess called Valkyrie, and Fortissio itself is started as the eroge with four heroines as Action Girl. Do the math. As for this week, not much happening in regard of the release here (Other than otome 7'Scarlet released by Aksys that is) but at least we still have the updates, so to me here it's just another usual week. Although there's exactly one announcement that surprising us though that we have SakuraGame announced Fortissimo, in which some people are understandably upset about the news. Let's see what I can write for this week as well.
From JAST, we have some sort of update in regard of Flowers Summer from their answer to one Twitter, in which apparently they finished with the TLC and about to do the testing. While this is good update, seeing that we deal with JAST here made me uncertain when they'll managed to deliver Flowers later. Especially when they need to do some hardcopy printing before finally release it. For the info, it was already delayed from back at January since they promised to release this at last year winter (Although if they rush the process, they could still on time for Australian winter release though lol).
As of this week, we have Eustia was at 44.04% translated. Other than Eustia, we have that finally Harugi project was added to VNTS table along with Watamasu, and for Harugi right now the branch school common route was at 4% translated with the current translated line count was at 2,032 lines. For the note in regard of Harugi, from the review that I read apparently we'll gonna have heroines that depend on which common route branch that we played. We also have Nurse Rhyme editing resume with current progress was at halfway edited after long time with no update. That's all for fan translation.
    Sekai Project
Right now we have a word from Sekai that Maitetsu is back to do the QA process, although to be honest it's been there for a while beforehand. Apparently they needed to deal with the engine problem beforehand, so they forced to stall the QA for a while. Anyway now that they back on track (Pun no intended mind you) to do the QA, perhaps the release time for Maitetsu is almost near, and maybe we can get the exact date for the release at AX later if we felt overly optimistic here. As for Daybreak, apparently Sekai was need to wait for the code in order to solve the engine problem, so it'll be stalled for a while here.
For their newest announcement, Sekai decided to do their usual method to localized their announcement back at ACEN (My GF is the Mermaid) by doing Kickstarter, and right now they managed to gather 9,907 funds out of 12,000 as the target with 30 days left. While I'm not intended to play this VN unless someone bought me a Swtich, the cast there made me remember Nagisa x Kaede pair from Assassination Classroom because their seiyuu work to voicing two out of three heroines. After I read the cast, I did wonder if I should pair Ion with Petakko because of that Role Association, and more importantly Pettako's hair is also green like Kaede as well. By the way I'm surprised that the introduction managed to remember that Suzaki Aya was voiced Kaede, while unfortunately they forgot to write that Fuchigami Mai was voicing Nagisa in which he's basically the second most important character of Assassination Classroom after Koro-sensei. My Assassination Classroom rambling aside, Sekai already planned to release this by March 2019 later.
    Other
So we have SakuraGame announced that they'll release Fortissimo in Chinese at Steam later. Okay not too bad I guess, although they follow up with the announcement that they'll refine the English version before finally release this. While normally this should be the good news now that we have another VN to be localized, unfortunately the mere SakuraGame name as the producer will surely made people doubt whether the VN that they translated worth to be playing or not. In case you wonder why, SakuraGame here is quite infamous with bad translation (I mean MTL level of bad), and more importantly bad public relationship skill back when Tayutama 2 was announced. As for Fortissimo itself, it's a chuuni VN that have borrow some Norse mythology element with the name like Odin, Loki, and Ragnarok, although from what I'd heard apparently it's more or less average one though compared to the like of Tokyo Babel (Don't say Dies Irae). I'd also read that apparently Lacryma here is indirectly refused NekoNyan request to localized it by not replying the request.
What I can say in regard of this is that if we based on one comment back at the thread, perhaps Lacryma themselves were pretty desperate to ask SakuraGame in order to localized Fortissimo. Considering that we knew some VNs companies in Japan goes bankrupt, I suspect that it might possible that Lacryma here is more in deep than we realized. I admit that all of these is just my conjecture here, but if we saw that back at Circus attempted to do their own OELVN Space Live back at 2017 it's quite reasonable if we think that, because it mean that back then the company was try to grab some chance to get the money. For the record here Lacryma itself is a company that formed by the joint of Circus, Broccoli, and an unknown third company (More like company with unknown release though). So I guess whatever financial problem that Circus had could be expanded to Lacryma here, and seeing that Lacryma want to expand to western market quickly, they decided to go with SakuraGame. That, and perhaps Lacryma themselves quite ignorant with SakuraGame controversy. In the end, I would like to just wait and see about this matter, and maybe I can try to read Fortissimo later to see of how chaotic the translation is lol (I admit that at least Fortissimo graphic is good looking).
Since I talked about NekoNyan earlier here, let me give the update from them first. As for their current progress, right now they managed to translated halfway of HGB, while for Sanoba they already translated 70% of it along with a quarter edited. As for my opinion here, I guess NekoNyan here put more effort to translating Sanoba instead of HGB looking from the progress, while according to their schedule they planned to release HGB first. While I admit that I'm slightly more excited to see Sanoba progress is more than HGB progress, I think it would be better if they can do more effort on translating HGB first, so that the people who wait for HGB would more looking forward to the release. It's up to NekoNyan though on whatever choice that they made in regard of their work, so I'm more or less content with this.
For the last progress, we have Frontwing announced their original VN Loca-Love. Other than we'll gonna have romance story with three girls, we still didn't have many info about this for now. Although if we look from the writer, I guess that we at least could expect some Witch Garden plot (Not that I know it lol) because the writer is also the main writer of that. The girl art here is looks too much like Shino from Coroblo, which make sense because the artist is the same one. Other than those notes, I expect that we'll know more about this VN if Frontwing decided to do their fundraising later, so let's see it later. By the way, for Loca-Love here Frontwing is already planned to release this at Autumn later.
That's all for this week, and see you next week.
PS - Fore more reason of why we have Sakura Valkyrie as the title, it was because in Fortissimo we have a character called Sakura in which if we remember Da Capo it was the main heroine name.
Beware of the spoiler above though if you interested with Fortissimo.

    Visual Novel Translation Status (04/10/2018)
About the title, since we have Fureraba release back at March 30th and in this week only release we have herbalist female MC at otome VN The Bell Chime for Gold, I decided to parodying this dorama because we fure from Fureraba (TL Note: Fure mean cheer in Japanese), so we have 'Fure Fure Herbalist' as the title for this week with herbalist part is from Bell Chime - by the way the image header for this week was interestingly depicted five heroes for Bell Chime as inept adventurer party. Okay, as for this week to tell the truth it was pretty anemic in regard of fewer update, but if we think positively perhaps this week we have a break after many good releases from last two weeks (ie Tsujidou, Konosora retranslation, and Fureraba). Let's see what I can write for this week as well.
No major update from Mangagamer other than the reminder that we'll gonna have Supipara Chapter 2 released at Thursday or Friday depending on the timezone, and also we got Koropukkur successfully funded at 37,093 funded. Well too bad though that we can't get Koropukkur voiced because they still didn't have enough money gathered for that (They need to reach 80,000 fund gathered for that), but at least it should be enough for now. Also for additional note, as expected there's no backer for the most expensive pledge (At 7,500), because the reward was too exaggerated - I mean eating dinner with the illustrator was surely sounds out there, and besides I think people would be more interested to have dinner with idol singer (Although to me both of those are waste a lot of money though).
As for Sekai, other than Bell Chime, there's no interesting update from them. For Bell Chime itself, the premise was looks like a parody of the usual otome in which we have the female MC who is a herbalist work very hard in order to gain money, and after that she'll using the money to buy his boyfriend which coincidentally consist of five poor man who have a lot of debt. So more or less it's subvert very usual otome in which rather than pure love, the MC here need money to solve his love problem. Forgot to say that the heroes are not as handsome as usual otome VN heroes XD, and more importantly this is another otome VN that have sex scenes. Other than Bell Chime release, we have Nekonin 2 was in QA which mean that it's already fully translated and edited, and 2236 was already finished the QA so it's good to know that Sekai still willing to release this even though 2236 was already released for overseas by the developer themselves.
After one week with no update, we finally have another update from Newton VN with Emmy's route was at 23% translated and Haru's route was fully translated. Still no update in regard of Sakusakura though, so hopefully we'll get more on that at this month. No comment for Harem Guild other than the translation was about to be finished by April, and also the official release would be redundant) because Quof already released this back as fan translated patch. In case you're willing to wait for Tayutama 2 release, apparently it's about to be released at this month according to the Steam store (Might be just placeholder month though), but seeing that there's many issue surrounding the release (Bad translation, bad public relation, and the prequel is still untranslated) I'm not quite interested with this. We have some sort of plan for Fureraba fandisc release, in which it'll be somewhere around autumn, and they said that it'll be depend on whether Sanoba translation will coming along well or not later (NekoNyan's tweet for the proof). As for the release plan from Other section, we'll have Chuusotsu release at 24th later.
For fan translation more or less it's just usual update but before going on the updates, let me report that right now we have Motoka's route from Yosuga no Sora was at 51.62% translated - I forgot to report it last week. For the updates we have Eustia was at 38.93% translated and 26.56% edited, Higurashi Tsukiotoshi arc was at 87% translated, Musumaker was at 51.7% translated, Pure Pure Chapter 4 (Or rather I'll call it Hinata's route from now on) was at 69.72% translated and overall was at 70% translated, Shin Koihime Musou was at a quarter edited, Witch Garden was at 43% translated, and we have Harugi's (Or KaniShino's) prologue was at 41% (742 lines) translated along with 492 lines TLC-ed.
That's all for this week, and yeah we have quite belated VNTS here. See you next week, or hopefully next Monday at the latest if all goes well.

    Visual Novel Translation Status (02/03/2018)
When I saw the picture of the header, suddenly I remember the scene when the same thing happened in Kajitsu as well - it was from Phantom Trigger by the way. The scene in question was titled 'Running Cadence', and in that scene Yuuji and Makina sang a song which made Amane embarrassed. In that case of the image header, I don't know though if Tohka and Rena were singing, but at least they should be running so I decided to make the title 'Running Cadence', and also I add the 'feat. Tohka and Rena' because obviously those two girls featured in the CG. Anyway, welcome to this week VNTS Review after one week of absence, and this week was quite interesting with another company enter the VN localization market with five announcements to boot. Other than that, we still have some usual updates here so let's see what I can write for this week as well.
As for fan translation, it's still usual weekly updates here. For the updates, we got Loverable was at 71.8% TLC-ed and 32.84% edited, Eustia was at 33.72% translated and 21.02% edited, Musumaker was at 47.8% translated, Witch Garden was at 37% translated, Pure Pure Chapter 4 was at 13.38% translated and overall was at 57.34% translated, and Majokoi was at 79% TLC-ed. There's also an update from LxC2 as well, in which Hina's route translation was going stable and Quof is more or less happy with that, although he afraid though that there's nothing could be done in regard of the programming, so hopefully he can find the solution in regard of the programming. For the last update here, quite unfortunate that Venus Blood Chimera translation team shut down their Patreon, but then again it's quite a grey area to ask the payment for fan translation so maybe this is for the best. Other than updates, we have another new project established with the goal of translating Tenkiame, and for the progress it's quite stable for now with common route was at 26% translated (I hope that they could go through it until the end). For Tsujidou, right now Renna's route was at 41.34% translated and overall was at 86.48% translated - looking from the current pacing I think by around April we should be able to get Renna's patch.
As for Sekai, unfortunately Fatal Twelve was delayed to March, and so does with Maitetsu - although in Maitetsu case it was stalled though, which it mean that there's no definitive time for the release. For more update, we have Nanairo was in need to waiting for the third party which hopefully it goes well for Sekai. As for their VNs that was ready for the release, not quite appealing to me except for one (Kanonana) in which I'm just a bit interested with this. They have the good news though, and it was in regard of Balder Sky which is halfway translated right now, although I don't know though if that mean that Sekai managed to translated one VN or each VN have some translated lines that the combined result was halfway of Baldr Sky lines (By the way, Baldr Sky was divided into two VNs for the info). I just hope that Sekai will improve their performance in the future, because apparently there's some discord happened between Sekai and the contributors.
    Other
For Newton VN, right now Lavi's route was at 80% translated and Yotsuko's route was at 45% edited. For Song of Memory, apparently PQube managed to get the license and they already planned for Nintendo Switch release at this month, although unfortunately there's still no info in regard of Steam release at least for now.
As for the mentioned Sekai contributors, it was quite interesting that both of Akerou and Chuee of Shinku Translation formed the VN localization company with the name NekoNyan. Not only that, they announced five VNs which more or less could be said as charage. As for the reason of why they did that, perhaps they have problem with Sekai as well. While this might be just my speculation (And probably is), seeing that we have 2236 was released by Japanese company itself which gave a hint that it might be the truth that Sekai facing the problem with their contributors and the Japanese company. I said this because one of NekoNyan title was Sanoba Witch, and that title is notably 8th Yuzusoft VN whose as we know was have a deal with Sekai - it's more or less like Purple Software case. That said, what I could say in regard of NekoNyan is that we better to wait and see until they have the first release in near future, and I say this because there's some anxiety in regard of both Akerou and Chuee which as we remember worked on Hoshimemo, and it have some issue in regard of the translation.
For NekoNyan announcements, other than aforementioned Sanoba Witch (At 20% translated), there's Hello Goodbye (At 10% translated), Sukiren, Melty Moment, and Furereba (Fully translated and edited, and at 70% for both of TLC and QC). As for the release plan, they're quite ambitious with the closest one was Fureraba at March later. For my opinion about the announcements itself, I interested with both of Fureraba and Sanoba even before the announcements so those two were good announcements to me, and I just hope that they'll indeed released Sanoba at autumn later because it's mean more translated Yuzusoft VN which is always a good thing. For the rest, I'd slightly interested with Hello Goodbye (HGB) and less interested with Melty Moment, and Sukiren was pretty much in the middle between those two.
While I like that they'll release those three quickly as well - HGB will be in Summer and Melty Moment in December, unfortunately they just stated 'aiming' which mean that there's no certainty for the release and therefore there might be delays in the future, also the delays can be happen to both of Sanoba and Fureraba. Speaking about Sanoba, they also have plan for physical release as well so perhaps the delay will most likely will be happened. In the end, I hope that I'm just being paranoid here and the release was indeed according with the schedule, especially Fureraba in which if the release was indeed at March later then it would be very interesting month, because there would be three big releases in one month (Fatal Twelve, Sakusakura, and Fureraba).
That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.
  24. littleshogun
Foreword - There's no VNTS for this week as well (In three weeks straight nevertheless which is quite a worrying record), which mean that obviously both of admin Tay and Decay were quite busy in the real life. So once again I decided to make another VNTS Review here, and hope you'll enjoy this.
To tell the truth there's almost nothing interesting in regard of VNTS from last week, so what I can say is that the last week is quite plain. Although if one want to be more optimistic, we can say that the last week is like some sort of breather in which we'll gonna have a lot of release at this week, so we can say that the last week is like calm before the storm. Anyway, welcome to VNTS Review and obviously I will try to talk about last week VNTS here. For the title, since we have both of Yotsunoha demo release and Muv Luv Alternative (MLA) 18+ patch release, I decided to parodied Chinese historical film 'The Flowers of War' in which it depict the Japanese massacre of Chinese in Nanking back at 1937. The reason of the title is that because we have a war situation in MLA, and as for clovers it was from Yotsunoha which translated as 'four leaf clover'. Regardless of what I said earlier here, let's see what I can write for this time VNTS Review.
From Sekai we finally had their fourth secret project was fully translated, and while what kind of the project is still unknown one can hope that they'll reveal their secret projects at AX later, just like Mangagamer at the last year AX. By the way, congratulation for 'My GF is a Mermaid' KS in which it managed to gathered 18,757 in which it's slightly over the original goal (12,000), even though I'm still won't play this though because I didn't have Switch - just in case you look forward for the release, the estimation release month for this VN will be at March 2019 later for the reminder. Also for the reminder we'll gonna have Maitetsu at the end of this week, so keep in mind of that if you interested with dating the android AI train thing (My interest with Maitetsu is more in regard of multiple opening though).
For fan translation, we have Eustia was at 46.7% translated, Taraimawashi (Higurashi's side story) was at three quarter translated, Shin Koihime Musou was at 95% translated, Witch Garden was at 46% translated, 216 scripts file of Oreimo Shizuku were finalized, and Harugi's Main was at 23% translated with 6% TLC-ed along with the prologue was at 70% edited. I guess that's all in regard of fan translation for now, and by the way let me tell something that we'll gonna have something interesting by this week from this section as well.
We have Sol Press released Yotsunoha demo, and as for whether the translation is accurate or not unfortunately I can't comment on that lol. But just in case you need an opinion, apparently it was still quite rough (ie still not improved) according to one source so perhaps it should be approached with open minded in regard of Yotsunoha's translation. Speaking of Yotsunoha's release date here, Sol Press decided to change the release estimation to Q3 2018 in which it's obviously get delayed, and from there I can tell of how they did overestimated their capability to get released the VNs quickly. Other than Yotsunoha demo release and the delay of the full release, we already have Newton VN finished QA process and Sol Press decided to release this as soon as they got approval from Steam, and it mean that the estimation release date is obviously unpredictable more so if we remember Steam controversial action in regard of several VNs.
As for MLA 18+ patch, what I can say is that the release itself is already redundant enough if you satisfied with Amaterasu version of MLA translation (With 18+ content in the first place). While in theory it sounds good that finally we have MLA full version with new translation, actually it didn't matter as well because the sex content in MLA is very few and one of those scenes is quite divisive to boot, so perhaps it's the best that we play MLA without sex content. Regardless of that, have fun though if you're waiting for MLA with 18+ content. Oh, we also have another otome VN announcement in which it'll depict our female MC will interact with Sherlock Holmes and Arsene Lupin (Both of them were handsome lol), and it'll be released at Autumn for both of PSV and Steam (Obviously it mean that we can play this on PC) later. Not my type of VN, but it's good that translated otome VNs keep increasing I guess.
That's all for this time VNTS Review, and see you at next week VNTS Review.

    Visual Novel Translation Status (07/29/2017)
For this week title, I decided to parodying Kaichou wa Maid-sama manga because this week we had Wagahigh release and there's also the matter that both of the works were have student council president characters, although in Wagahigh the president was work as manga illustrator though instead of maid. Therefore for this week we had Kaichou wa Mangaka-san for the title, and welcome to this week VNTS Review from mine. As for this week, Tay comment about Evangile W aside it was quite interesting one considering that we had the releases from Mangagamer (Evangile W), Sekai (Wagahigh), and Frontwing (Phantom Trigger Volume 3 aka Touko's Chapter). Which mean that three most active VN localization company (For now) was managed to had same release time, and almost at the same day to boot. Other than those three, of course there's still some update so let's see what update that we had for this week.
    Fan Translation
As for fan translation, so far there's only usual progress for this week. For the recap here, we got Eustia was at 18.36% translated (12.04% edited and 11.85% TLC-ed), Loverable was at 82.18% translated (Nanako's route was at 69.01% translated, along with 49.87% TLC-ed and 20.82% edited for the overall Loverable), Majokoi was at 92.22% translated, Sansha Mendan was at 97.08% translated (ie almost completed), Venus Blood Chimera was halfway translated (50.3%), and in regard of Pure Pure turned out that last week progress was wrong so I'll give the new update in which right now the chapter 2 was at 19.23% translated (Overall progress was at 19.90% translated for the whole Pure Pure). As for both of Tsujidou and Tsukiyori, I'd already reported the progress from them at last VNTS so I'll report those two new updates here later.
For more updates from fan translation, we had Witch Garden was at 28% translated, Kanobito was regressing to 3% translated - yes regressing, although the reason was apparently because there's translator change, and the new translator was decided to retranslated Kanobito. Other than those two, there's Ittaku in which he was managed to translated 96% of Anzu's route, meaning that Anzu's route and most importantly Clover's Day would be finished the translation progress. Speaking about Ittaku, there's ToHeart 2 in which there's some progress although mostly it was already in finishing touch - the detail was Sasara's route was still in proofread, QC for Yuma's route was finished and twins route was in QC progress right now, and if all of those above were finished then Ittaku will do QC for Sasara's route and finally do both proofread/QC for Ruu's route. As for Koiken Otome fandisc, unfortunately there's some real life matter that was very important for Dergonu, therefore the progress would be (Sorry) slowed down a lot although he promised that he'll try to release Shiho's route patch at this year though so there's that. For the last progress from fan translation, there's Nocturnal Illusion Renewal which right now it was at 13.7% for the second pass.
That's all for fan translation at this week.
    Other
Other than Phantom Trigger, actually we had otome VN release for this week. The VN was Collar x Malice, in which it'll tell us the story of how a policewoman tried to handle a brutal case with her life as the bet. Looks interesting, although too bad that I wasn't quite interested with otome and most importantly it's Vita only.
From Frontwing there's Phantom Trogger Volume Three in which it'll tell us more about Touka and her dark backstory, which just my assumption for now although knowing Grisaia it might be the truth here. As for their next plan, while they didn't say anything in regard of the continuation I would said that if Frontwing really want to keep this format then they would be needed at least two more volumes just to tell us the characters, and some additional volumes if they want to tell us the finale like Rakuen (And Haruto's backstory like Meikyuu). For now I would like to just wait and see here, and hopefully they managed to created another volumes there so they won't disappointed Phantom Trigger fans.
By the way, other than Phantom Trigger release Frontwing was also had some saying in regard of Subahibi 18+ patch. It's about the censorship, and turned out it's the only picture that was get censored so you could still 'enjoy' of how screwed up the bestiality sex scene was in form of text. As for my opinion, I see no problem with that and I think it would be easy if someone out there want to make restoration patch seeing that it was only the CG that was censored. Although I wouldn't count too much in regard of restoration patch though, for now at least.
    Mangagamer
As for Evangile W, since this is only the fandisc I think it's not that interesting to me here. Although if you like the original Evangile, then I think it should be good addition if one want to look more Vincennes (The setting) and it's students. As for the premise, well I could said that it's had some epilogue from the original four routes, with the addition of five short routes for all of the side characters (Except headmistress who apparently gotten saner in Evangile W of course). Other than that, I think it'll be full of fanservice from Evangile characters. While I didn't quite interested with Evangile W, I would say have fun if you already intended to play it (Including Tay).
Oh, and Mangagamer did had another announcement in which that they'll release Marina at August 11st. Well I would say whatever to the VN because it's just short nukige with some NTR, although I won't deny the importance of nukige release for Mangagamer though especially when it's sales helped them to license more VN in the future.
    Sekai Project
As for Sekai, right now they only had one update and it was Wagahigh release. As for Wagahigh, the premise was apparently the MC (Kouki) was worked at student council because of some 'deal'. Namely that the deal was that as long as Kouki joined the council, then his secret gonna be safe. For the information here, the secret that Kouki hide was actually he is a mangaka for ecchi romantic comedy manga, and therefore he need to keep his mangaka job as the secret. After that, apparently the council was also doubled as some sort of the problem solver for the students so from there Kouki and the council decided to help more students. As for my opinion, at first I admit that I dislike the girl's boob lol because it's too big lol (It's the drawing fault actually, so maybe I should say that earlier). But since I'd heard some good opinion in regard of this VN, then perhaps I would considering to play Wagahigh later.
I think that's all for this week, and see you next week.
PS - Forgot one update here, and it's from JAST which to said was quite unusual lol. Anyway the update was fot Princess X in which right now it was in beta testing, so at least JAST was in track for Autumn release (Hopefully). Here's the tweet from them in regard of that.
PPS - As promised, I'll deliver both of Tsujidou and Tsukiyori here. For Tsujidou, right now Ai's route was almost reached halway translated with the progress was at 44.58% translated and for overall progress was at 32.8% translated. While for Tsukiyori, right now it was at 8.9% translated and 4.4% edited. That's all for the additionsl progress here.
