Well if you like DDLC then you can try Kimikoi in which it has similar concept with it. Other than that, I suppose you can try some other KEY VNs such as Little Busters, Rewrite, and Summer Pockets. I don't know if you already play those VNs, but regardless of that I hope that my recommendations here can be helpful to you.

Hey Gang! Excited to start sharing with you all~
littleshogun replied to DLDigital's topic in Introduce Yourself
Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. No much to say here other than good luck on your project and I hope that you'll have fun here. PS - Nice splash image there. -
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have Evenicle 2 release in which it has hospital as the motif I decided to parodied Trauma Center: New Blood by changing 'Blood' into 'Chronicle' because Evenicle itself is the acronym for 'Eve's Chronicle' for the reminder. As for this week itself, what I can say is that it was an active week with several companies announced the exact release date for their VNs (Including Nekonyan in which they announced Cafe Stella exact release date as expected) and of course there's many releases with the biggest one to me here is Evenicle 2. Overall I can say that this week is quite an above average one and interesting to a degree, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week. The Snow translation team decided to drop Miagete restoration project, which while it's too bad I understand that it can be tedious considering that it's quite hard to figured out on how to inserting the text. Speaking about restoration project, we have new team for Aojashin sex scenes restoration and the plan is that they'll release the patch to restore the sex scene for Chapter 1 at March later along with revert the heroine setting back as high school student. For fan translation other updates, we have Harugi was at 54% edited, Senmomo was at 36.04% edited with side stories was past a quarter (25.48%) edited, 91.1% original line of Summer Pockets was reworked, Tsukihime Remake Arcueid Day 13 was halfway translated, and Taimanin Kurenai was at 95% translated. We also have some updates from Daybreak translation in which we have Tsuki's route undergoing final QA, and there's also a new project underway with one of the route was already at around 30% translated. Aksys released Variable Barricade in which it's only available for Switch, and if you ask me the reason to get the VN if you're not a fan of otome VN then at least you can have the MC with fragile female ego (ie tsundere) that was voiced by Hatsune Miku's VA (Fujita Saki). Otherwise you may get it if you like otome VN from the very start and has been interested with this. We also have Tokyo Onmyouji release, in which at least it's available for PC so you can play this if you been interested with BL story and yet didn't have console. As expected we also have Degica released another chapter for Yumemi Dreamer, and this week we have the 7th chapter was released so with this we only have five chapters left to finally have a full VN available in English. Frontwing also released Phantom Trigger Volume 8 back at 25th (At least they didn't find the bugs in there), so you can play it if you've been waiting for all chapters of Phantom Trigger to be released and have fun. Cherry Kiss did announce yet another nukige with the localized name Pirate Booty and the Bukkake Buccaneer and they'll release it on March 11th later. Speaking of nukige, we have JAST released Overly Qualified Ms. Mary in which it's about Ms. Mary who is really overly qualified looking from a certain point of view. We also have Mangagamer released Erovoice back at 24th, so go get the VN if you interested with it and have fun. As for Mangagamer's next release, it's Uuultra C in that they'll release it at March 24th later so you may note the date if you've been interested with BL VN from the same developer as Hashihime. Sekai Project decided to cancel several project, in which one of those is Tenshin Ranman. Which mean that Sekai obviously won't release it in the future, although of course it would raise some question in regard on who will localize Tenshin Ranman in the future. The question is easily answered though, with Nekonyan is the most probable one when it come to localize Tenshin Ranman, and if they want to localize it obviously they'll localize the most recent release with the revamped resolution just like Dracu Riot. Speaking of Yuzusoft and Nekonyan, the latter did announce that they'll release Cafe Stella at March 25th later so you may note the date if you've been looking forward to it. Congratulation to Alicesoft in regard of Evenicle 2 release, in which at first it was thought to be impossible seeing that Steam banned this even with Alicesoft already remove one of the sex scene which mean Alicesoft did remove it for nothing. For the premise, we have Alex who is quite a pervert who somehow gain an ability to cure the disease through his sperm that must be cum into the patient (That obviously must be cute and beautiful female), and I definitely didn't make this up. Our Alex here will be involved in fighting against an organization that has the goal to spread the disease to cause the pandemic, and he will get some help from his wives just like first Evenicle (There's still polygamy in here as well). As for the gameplay, it's still the same with first Evenicle with few differences. I admit that at first I think that the sequel is a bit unnecessary seeing that the first Evenicle is complete enough, but now I think that it's a nice addition here. Go get Evenicle 2 if you interested and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week and sorry for being late here. See you next week.

Evenicle 2 Overseas Release Announcement by Alicesoft
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Late to mention this, but we already have Evenicle 2 available in English. I would say that it might be better if you play this first if you still didn't play Evenicle 1 yet seeing that the gameplay see no change much so that you won't keep seeing deja vu here, but of course you can still try it if you already finished Evenicle 1 and see on how different the world is. I won't deny that back then I thought that Evenicle 2 is quite unnecessary seeing that the first one is complete enough, although now I can say that it's still interesting enough as another stand alone VN here. Anyway you can get Evenicle 2 if you interested with it, and have fun. PS - Just in case someone already playing and asking when they can get the ability to use item in battle, the answer is that there won't be any chance to use item in battle because Alicesoft remove the ability in here so you can't just use Ibeprofun to instantly heal or BP Juice to use high BP attack immediately in battle. PPS - Also if you wonder whether the censored sex scene will be available or not, the answer is that yes the said sex scene is available in the full version of Evenicle 2. -
Alice Soft — Translated Titles
littleshogun replied to Kosakyun's topic in Fan Translation Discussion
Just in case someone still searching for those three, you can download Rance 2 in here although it would be better play 02 version that was released by Mangagamer anyway. While for 03, well you better buy it if I may say something although obviously you can do some searching on how to buy it. Lastly for 04 remake, obviously there's still not developed yet so of course there won't be a game to get there. -
VN of the Month January 2022 - Hentai Prison
littleshogun commented on kivandopulus's blog entry in Vndbreview
Well let's see what I can comment in regard of first month of 2022 releases here. Kurokami-sama - The first all age VN from Minato Carnival, and obviously it mean that Takahiro will try to write it more darkly seeing that the main heroine is a youkai who blackmailed the mangaka to do dirty work for the youkai. That said, it's pretty obvious that the release is quite underrated compared to several other recent work from Takahiro (ie Waka-sama and Wagahime), although if anything else at least we have this in English thanks to JAST which mean at least they still have some interest to localize the work from Minato-soft even though the cost for the VAs license can be quite handful. Hentai Prison - I guess I can only say that the MC might be fitting in Nukitashi setting, and that Qruppo obviously will have some overblown fight in Hentai Prison there. Also in case someone want it to be translated, seeing that Sol Press failed to even released Nukitashi let's just say that it might be hard to see it translated unless Qruppo did try to do it by themselves like Laplacian with Aojashin. Venus Blood Savior - I see the opening, and let's just say that compared to the past Venus Blood openings it's quite clean with the opening only show the fighting stances of the characters (In the past usually Venus Blood openings has several CG from the sex scenes). I also check the full CG of it, and let's just say that it's quite (Relatively) tame compared to both of translated Venus Blood (Frontier and Hypno). What I can say is that I suspect that Ninetails want to have it localize, and yes this is another VN that I suspect the developer want to release it on Steam after Kunado. Anyway in Savior we have corrupt the heroines scenario and in here the heroines were based on three Imperial Regalia of Japan, and that it has new system in form of food equipment. As for when Ninetail do the crowdfund for this (If they really want to localize it), well we don't know when yet. That's all for what I can say in regard of January 2022 releases. -

Honoo no Oppai Isekai Chou Ero ♥ Succubus Gakuen! I'll try to comment more on this later on, but if I may something right now it's quite convenient that we have Hollow available in English and that we just got Hoshiori Perfect Edition full translation patch two days ago so at least we already have two title already in English (Coincidentally both of the title are actually re-release). Also I know that I wrote 'Best System' at one of the category in the last year list, although now that I look at it actually the full sentence mean 'Best Game System' so I decided to translate it as such (By the way I'm quite surprised that Clarias is the one that won the award instead of Amayui Labyrinth Meister, but perhaps it mean that GIGA can still make some nice gameplay there).

Phantom Trigger no Rakuen Vol. 2 Review
littleshogun posted a blog entry in Pretty Cure on Fuwanovel
Welcome to this week VNTS Review. As for the title since we have Phantom Trigger Volume 8 will be released at 25th later I combined Phantom Trigger with the last part of Grisaia (So-called) trilogy so that we have 'Phantom Trigger no Rakuen', and since this is the second time I use the title (The first VNTS Review that use the same title) obviously I add 'Vol. 2' here. Anyway as for this week what I can say is that at least we have a number of releases compared to the last week, although obviously none was as big as Aojashin. That said at least we have several updates, such as Doukyuusei exact release date announcement to make up for rather lacking releases, so overall I can say that it's yet another average week here. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week here. Cherry Kiss did release their NTR elf nukige, and I can only say have fun if you interested with it. We also have GL VN Secret Kiss is Sweet and Tender was released back at 17th, although unfortunately somehow there's a problem to release it on Steam (Probably on the review process) so the VN here would be console VN here. Go get the VN if you want a GL VN and have Switch, and have fun. In case you've been waiting for Koinegau otome VN, apparently there's some more work to do on it so Aksys decided to delay the release until 2023 later on. We also have artlink suddenly released SugarKiss back at 18th, so with the release we have all of Hachimitsu Soft VNs available in English (Despite the translation problem) and you can get the VN in case you want a single heroine VN. As expected, we have Degica released Chapter 6 of Yumemi Dreamer so with this we already have half of the VN is available in English because Kogado did release Yumemi Dreamer in 12 chapters. Forgot to mention that we also have the update from Sekai, and in this week we have their secret project was at 90% in QA, Harvest Festa was at three quarter translated, and Amairo Chocolata 2 was fully edited with them currently wait for the build. Lastly we have Sekai released the trial version for Neko-mimi Sweet Housemate Volume 1, and it should be obvious that there'll be more of it in the future. The premise is more or less like usual episodic moege with the MC encounter a half angel half catgirl who one way or another live with the MC, and there'll be more of the girls that will live with the MC. I would say that this VN is quite notable, and obviously not because of the premise but rather because of the staffs with both of the artist and the writer are worked on Amayui Labyrinth Meister, in which it's explain on why the blue haired girl here is looks like Kuna from that VN. As for the release time, we'll have it released at this year later on. For fan translation updates, we have Taimanin Kurenai was at 90% translated, Tsukihime Remake Arcueid Day 12 was fully translated with Day 13 was at 13% translated, Onee-chan no Yuuwaku was fully translated and TLC-ed, Harugi was at 52% edited, and lastly we have Tsuki's route of Akagoei was fully edited with the route was undergoing the final QA. As for Senmomo's update, this week we have it was at 34.73% edited with Chapter 2 was fully edited and side stories was at 20.91% edited. We also have Hoshiori Perfect Edition translation patch released (The thread in regard of it), in that it's translate the original Hoshiori along with the additional contents that were back ported from console version. I can't exactly say if it'll worth the trouble seeing that it has some bug in the naming the MC, but at least it should be nice to play if one want more Hoshiori (Or has been waiting until Perfect Edition fully translated). As for the exact release date of Doukyuusei Remake that I mentioned, it'll be at March 11th later. Apparently there's some confusion in regard of the contents that were censored compared to 1992 version, although after I see a post from 4chan I would say that saying censorship is more or less quite overblown seeing that it's not as bad as Aojashin censorship seeing that it still has some sex scenes on it (And that the remake was based on 1999 version of it). That say if you agree with the statement that the remake is censored, well you can just move on from Doukyuusei remake here. Last but not the least we have several updates from Nekonyan, in which we have Mirai Radio programming was almost completed, Kirikoi FD Golden Time was at 90% translated along with 17% edited, Aoi Tori was at 99.69% translated (So close), and Cafe Stella was at 45% in QA along with it was approved by Valve so it's pretty obvious that it's Nekonyan's next release. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week. -
Welcome to Fuwanovel, and nice to see that all of new users here like to read Umineko (There's nothing wrong with it of course, just something that I noticed). I also happen to have some interest with VN history, although my interest here is lies on VN localization history and what is the best VNs that we have it translated at each year (That's why I made a lists that comprised top 10 translated VNs at each year, although I admit that some of my choices are quite subjective). Lastly I hope that you'll have fun in here.
-
Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. No much to say other than have fun on Umineko there (It's quite a lengthy VN to say for sure) and I hope that you'll enjoy yourself here.
-
Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the very belated greeting. Also I see that you started to review some of the old VNs, so have fun on doing it. Lastly I hope that you'll enjoy yourself here.

[Kinkoi] [SPOILERS] Anyone pissed off at Reina's first H scene?
littleshogun replied to gieh's topic in Visual Novel Talk
What I can say? Well seeing that you're very angry so much that you post this across three forums (Here, VNDB, and Reddit), perhaps you better check whether the girl that you like from the future VNs that you'll read will have the sex scenes that you're dislike or not so that you didn't need to be angry anymore. If anything else, what I can learn is that I suppose not all people like the scenes even though personally I don't have the problem with it. PS - By the way it's not like this is the first time the writer wrote drunk sex here, seeing that he did it back at Tsujidou with Maki. -
Subarishi Hibi Second chapter Not unlocking
littleshogun replied to Rahman N's topic in Visual Novel Talk
It's been a while since I played this, but yes if I may suggest try to click one of the glass shard in there like Silvz said because that screen is basically a fancy Chapter Selection scene (There'll be more chapters to unlock the more you get through the VN). Anyway have fun with Subahibi there. -
This week title is come from one of Shakespeare's play, The Merchant of Venice, in which I changed the word 'Venice' to 'Tenbridge' in which the latter is the place setting in Newton VN (Tenbridge University). The reason for the title is obviously because we have Laplacian did manage to release Aojashin on time and that we have Shakespeare in Aojashin (Not as the heroine, but as one of the MC). Other than Aojashin release, we also have several updates with both of Tokyo Onmyouji and Erovoice exact release date announcement. Overall I can say that this week is an average one to me (Although of course for some people this week can be a big one thanks to Aojashin's release), and let's see what I can write in regard of this week. We have Aojashin was released at 9th (One day before the promised date, so at least they do well on that matter), and as expected some didn't respond it nicely which to say is quite understandable because Laplacian decided to removed the sex scenes along with changing the setting for one of case by making the heroine is university student and thus removed Kimiyume school setting reference (The writer's way to communicate the decision did help little with the anger). That aside, it's still nice VN to play if you want a VN that has the same premise as Fata Morgana and a dark story, so you can play it if you didn't mind the lack of sex scenes and have fun. If anything else, at least there'll be several new contents that was supposed to make up for the sex scenes removal along with the music mode addition. By the way it's too bad that the project to restore the sex scenes was cancelled, but I suppose I'll just move on from this because it's not like this is the first time a well received VN got censored release overseas (Previously there're ChuSingura 46+1 and Noraneko duology). From Mangagamer we have them announced the exact release date for Erovoice, and unlike Aojashin obviously the sex scenes of it are still intact. For anyone else who interested to get it, it'll be released at 24th later. As expected Degica did released the new chapter of Yumemi Dreamer at each Thursday, and in this week we have the fifth chapter of it was released. We also have Tokyo Onmyoji exact release date like I say above, and for the date it'll be at 25th later so you can note the release date if you want to play it. Visual Arts has a plan to release Loopers in this year (2022), and let's see if we can see it done later. Lastly we have artlink announced that they'll release SugarKiss at this month, and with this now we have all of Hachimitsu Soft VNs localized by artlink. As usual we have some updates from fan translation. For the updates we have Harugi was at 51% edited, Taimanin Kurenai was at 85% translated, Chicchakunai Mon was at 90% translated, Eustia was at 94.70% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 71.84% in programming, Senmomo was at 30.38% edited with Chapter 2 was at 71.64% edited, 57 out of 138 script files of Nagomibako was edited, Yoshitsune's route of Majikoi A-5 has 10 scripts worked on, and finally we have Loverable was at both fully translated and edited with the new progress that it's been at 73.34% approved (It would be like the equivalent of QA for the info). For Tsukihime Remake update we have Arcueid Day 10 was fully translated with Day 12 was at 83% translated. Lastly we have the team who translate WA 2 announce that they'll work on WA2 FD (Mini After Story), and it'll tell the story that happened after each routes in Coda. As for the progress there's still none, but at least the translation work of it shouldn't be as long as the whole main VN seeing that it's a short length VN. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

Recently like to hear Morphogenetic Sorrow from 999 below in which it's a sad song within the story, although some fans would like to think that they finished sudoku back when they play DS version of it. I'm not sure if this is the right section considering that 999 was also VN, but regardless of that enjoy the soundtrack (And perhaps you may use it as the soundtrack when you finished sudoku like I did).

Like I say beforehand January 2022 here is yet another stacked month, especially when we have three companies (Shiravune, JAST, and Nekonyan) released interesting VNs. That said, Nekogami release is sort of interesting though if only it mean that we can see on how Sekai will probably release Amatsutsui on GOG later (It's still quite a hassle though seeing that apparently they need to deal with Purple Software for the plan change). The less we talk about Aojashin and Laplacian's third-rate communication skill, the better (I understand though if some still want to play it despite the censorship, and perhaps the new contents can make up the censorship like Dies Irae). That said, I'm waiting for 18+ patch later on even though it might took years to complete or even if the one who make it give up. If anything else, at least we'll have Evenicle 2 released at 23rd later with the previously censored sex scene (The scene that Alicesoft was removed for nothing because Valve reject Evenicle 2) available. As for the interesting releases that I talked about, we have JAST with Dead End Aegis in which it's Magical Girl Genre Deconstruction VN that depict the setting that use the magical girl as weapon and sex object in which the latter is because the power of the magical girl increased the more the girl got aroused (Although it lead the magical girl to keep raped repeatedly and sometimes they're going through disturbing sex). Shiravune did release both of Mashimaro and Kamiyaba in which both are charage, and both heroines has good design on different aspect. Last but not least there's Hello Lady that was managed to released by Nekonyan after three years of waiting, and let's just say that the VN was offer something more than the sex scenes with mosaic (That Nekonyan was asked to keep the mosaic on). Oh yes Nekonyan did release the best version of Hello Lady in that it combined the FD and extra contents from PSV version, although whether the additional contents is the good addition or not is up to each of their own. Well that's all for what I can comment in regard of January 2022 VN news. PS - Forgot to mention that Trinoline Genesis was released, although it's less interesting to me compared to the releases that I mentioned above even though it's graphic is better compared to those four interesting releases (Dead Aegis, Hello Lady, Kamiyaba, and Mashimaro).

Welcome to Fuwanovel, and no much to say other than good luck on the project that you've been established there. I hope that you'll have fun here.

Angepinion: 5 Visual Novel Hot Takes
littleshogun replied to NowItsAngeTime's topic in Visual Novel Talk
1. I suppose Bubby in Kamiyaba is indeed quite problematic, although it's not like I can't try to get used to it though. For the first topic in general I'm fine with localization as long as the translation is not like any VN that was translated by SakuraGame or Your Diary translation (Which mean I'm still fine with GHS did translate Carnevale despite most people did criticize it), and besides it's not like everyone can agree which translation choice that would the best for the VNs. 2. Sex scenes, well I'll be frank that I'll read through it quickly because I know that I can see it later if I have the chance in the Extra menu (Based on my experience in Kamidori). That aside I prefer if the translator give us the choice to either skip the sex scenes or just read it, and so of course I can't agree with that Pulltop did for their overseas releases with them cut the sex scenes. That said I only care for both of Konosora and Miagete though when it come to Pulltop's overseas releases, and as for the rest of Pulltop's overseas library let's just say that it's either redundant (Cross Channel), not as big as previous releases (Lovekami spinoff), or all age in the first place (Umikana). 3. Both Clannad and Steins Gate are known to have good anime adaptation, and I'll say that Kanon 2006 is also good adaptation as well. While granted some of anime adaptation are bad to the point that it's infamous like Tsukihime anime (To me School Days adaptation is more problematic, but some may find it charming), at the same time it can increase the exposure of the source material that was the source of the anime. By the way in regard of Grisaia I would say that I agree that Kajitsu anime is interesting despite the fact that it was rushed because Frontwing can't secure another cour for it, and I don't mind the plot change in Kajitsu anime because it's their attempt to make the story linear which is better than the VN in which the VN basically asked us to treat an invisible route as canon (That Frontwing did attempt to show 'canon' route in the anime). 4. As long as it's available in VNDB it should be the VN, although that said those three cases are quite unique in which I didn't manage to add those three in my best rated translated VNs list. There's another can of worm when it come to gameplay VN, such as Rance series and Eushully VNs although those VNs are have much closer to the traditional VN if we just look it based on the art alone. There's also Utawarerumono trilogy, in which it can be argue that it's similar case with Baldr Sky with the VNs section of it can be quite long even if you can grind your party. 5. It's okay if you don't like those VNs as much as people who think that those VNs are good, because after all each people has each of their own taste. That's all for what I can say in regard of your Hot Takes there. -
Actually it was available in the original version, although as for the translated version that you play you wouldn't need to deal with the sex scenes seeing that Hirameki did cut it so it should be safe. In exchange though they released it with DVD Player format, which to say would be quite a pain to set up. Also actually Phantom of Inferno here has the backport version that port XBOX360 version back to PC, although for some reason it's still not translated yet. Oh yes I did forget that I/O here has female MCs, so in this case I would recommend Ryuusei World Actor instead although I'm not quite sure if you either already heard of it or read it. Anyway I hope that I can answer your question here.

As for this week, since we have exact release date for Aojashin along with we have the translation project for Houkago Cinderella, I'd make a VA joke for Aojashin main heroine VA (Asakawa Yuu) in which as we know was voiced Medusa in Fate/Stay Night so we have 'Afterschool Medusa' as this week VNTS Review title (I know that the afterschool word here is quite ironic considering what we have in Aojashin overseas release, and for the translation note 'Houkago' mean 'Afterschool'). Welcome to this week VNTS Review and yes I decided to wrote this earlier, and as for this week what I can say is that it's slightly better compared to the last week with Aojashin release date announcement and both of JAST and Cherry Kiss announced the exact release date for their nukige. Other than those announced release dates, we also have Degica is indeed localized Yumemi Dreamer in which it's the newest VN from Kogado albeit in the unusual way. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week. Laplacian did announce that they'll release Aojashin at 10th later, and let's just say that I'm still wait and see whether the extra contents are indeed really can make up for the loss of the sex scenes. If anything else, at least they make sure to announce the addition of music mode that they'd miss in the original version. For JAST newest nukige (Overly Qualified Ms. Mary), what I can say is that it's their biggest release (Well if we based it on the heroine's breast size) so perhaps you may interested with that if it's released at 23rd later. For Cherry Kiss nukige, it's localized title is 'Elf Wives Cheat to Ride my Meat' in that it should be obvious the MC will do some NTR stuffs to the elves, so if you interested with it you can wait until the release date at 18th later. As for newest Kogado VN, it's magical girl VN with the title 'Star Melody: Yumemi Dreamer' in that it's come from the same team who developed Symphonic Rain which mean it'll have rhythm gameplay. In here we have our male MC who's his childhood friend, Yumemi, was chosen as the magical girl with the task to fight the monster that manipulate nightmare in order to eat the soul along with fighting the cadres that rule over the monsters. Anyway the unusual way to release that I mention is in regard on how Degica released the patch that add new translated chapters, and currently we have 4 out of 12 chapters translated so obviously there'll be more chapter release in the future in that it'll came up at each Thursday so I'll keep my eyes on this at each Thursday. For fan translation, we have Harugi was at halfway edited, Taimanin Kurenai was at 80% translated, Chaos Head Noah was at 11.61% edited, Senmomo was at 29.58% edited with Chapter 2 was at 64.84% edited, Tsukihime Remake Arcueid Day 10 was at 84% translated, and Meiko's route of Snow was fully translated along with the Legend route was almost done in which it bring Snow overall was at 80% translated. As for Houkago Cinderella translation project, currently it's been at one third translated with them already released the patch that cover one of the route, although it's still not edited and QC-ed yet though so it might be quite rough to read. Obviously the translator did realize it, and so he search for the editor and QC (You can look more at this blogpost). Anyway I'll try to keep my eyes on this project, so I'll just say good luck to the translator even though it's might be more than possible that Nekonyan may pick up this later. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week VNTS Review, and see you next week. PS - Turned out that I did miss the progress from Slow Damage along with Love Lab secret project progress, and currently Slow Damage was already in QA (So we may get Slow Damage released in the near future) while for Love Lab secret project it was at a quarter translated. I know that I did miss White Album 2 Mini After Story translation project was started, although I'll write more of it at the next VNTS Review.

Suki Suki aka If You Love Me Then Say So Released
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I would say that Chuable may have a problem with managing their financial and their setting, especially with the reason on why they can't implement Maya's route that was supposed to be playable if you rejected by Miharu (Maya's little sister for the reminder) was because of money. While granted it might be the truth for almost all of the companies, considering that they manage to hire Chiho's VA even despite so-called budget problem it should be obvious that they really have the problem with managing their setting (Especially when you consider that Chico only appear after you finished the VN once), and I did already said in here that the staffs may have some problem in regard of creative diference. Also since Ange did mention the addition of QP is unnecessary, I believe that the director may not like it as well and I assume that the idea of QP may came from the scenario writer who as the director said 'running wild on us' (It's more on him commenting on the out of ordinary heroines idea though, but you get the idea), although of course it's just my assumption here. In any case they could allocate the budget for QP VA's along with Chiho's VA in order for Maya to have more lines as the heroines, although of course reality is more cruel than ideal especially with the creative difference that they may need to deal when they created Suki Suki. Lastly I want to say that the writer did a good job on Haretaka, especially when he manage to had all four main heroines available in the first playthrough which evidently is quite contrast with Suki Suki here. Also even with problem in Suki Suki, I want a certain other work from the author here got translated (It's Apeiria in which it has some science fiction element). -
Nursery Rhyme Translation Project

Good luck on the remaining work of scripts insertion there. -
That's quite a restriction in regard of your taste there. Still if you want some title, perhaps I can try recommend some title such as Phantom of Inferno (The English has no sex scenes and need to be played with out of the box mechanic), Comyu, and I/O. I hope that my recommendations here can be helpful to you regardless whether you already heard those title or not.

Angepinion: A nuanced take on Visual Novel "Censorship"
littleshogun replied to NowItsAngeTime's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Mosaic - Well I'm not Mark so let's just say that I won't spend my time to either telling someone who enjoying the VN with mosaic as 'sell his/her soul to devil' or saying 'It's bad because it still has mosaic'. That aside, it shouldn't be big enough problem if you already gotten used to go through the sex scenes with mosaic, especially if you play enough fan translated VNs (Which back then is the only way to play relatively well received VNs). Visual - People just want to mad toward censorship in regard of Rewrite even though it's small problem compared to Aojashin, but at least we get the patch to uncensor the visual if anything else. That said, while Rewrite is the most recent case actually it also happen way back at Maitetsu in which it's big enough to cause controversy even though the sex scenes is intact through 18+ patch. No 18+ patch - Quite ironic that the cause of the company provided 18+ patch is because what Pulltop did with Konosora in which they decided to remove the sex scenes for overseas release, and here we are have Laplacan did the same thing after nine years. By the way Subahibi censorship is small enough and quite reasonable at that, so it didn't becoming the big problem from what I remember, I did want to type more, but I figure I'll just say that you bring a good point on why Laplacian didn't make Aojashin all age in the first place if the censored version is more in line with the writer vision (I like to point out that changing the setting from school to university would remove the reference from the very first Laplacian VN), and let's see if the new scenes is really worth the removal of the sex scenes. If anything else, at least I know that the censored version might be worth to get if only for the music mode that Laplacian didn't manage to add in the original version.
