  1. I’ve always loved good food. It’s not too rare for the highlight of the day, in retrospect, to be dinner. Home cooking, whilst quite a bother, is something I’ve gotten more and more used to recently. Unfortunately, the more good food I cook, the more mum will want to make me cook instead of her, and the more of my time will be spent away from the keyboard. On the other hand, my chicken stew is kind of good, and I’m getting better at preparing it all, so I guess it all balances out. Oh yeah, the stew. I did title the post after it and shit. I based this recipe vaguely off of this one (I hope you can read Swedish lel), which actually looked a bit different back when I checked it. Among other things, it called for red wine, not white. I wasn’t too keen on the walnuts and prunes, but I figured a few substitutions were reasonable. I mean, it’s a stew. Science, it ain’t. Unfortunately, you may have trouble getting the funnel chanterelle this recipe uses (we pick it ourselves at a certain place in the woods, then dry it.) Much like Dr. Boom in most Hearthstone decks, there’s probably no real replacement. You basically want something with a bit of spiciness and a bit of general mushroominess. Good luck. INGREDIENTS ~500g chicken filet of some sort (~1.1 pounds) 1 red bell pepper, medium to large (this is known as red paprika in Sweden, while paprika powder refers to the powdered spice. Very confusing.) 1 yellow onion ~0.7dl of red wine (1/3 cup) 1 bouillon cube 1 tbsp wheat flour (15ml, this is apparently same as the Amurrican tablespoon) 2.5dl of cream (1 cup) Thyme (Dried) funnel chanterelles, reconstitute if dried 2 carrots, medium size Salt, white pepper (Do I even need to add this?) PREPARATION Creamy Mix: In a convenient vessel, mix za cream with some thyme (don’t be shy), the red wine, and za flour, then crumble the bouillon cube into it. Take a moment to lament your now-crumbly hands. Lightly whisk it all together. Cut za bell pepper into ~2cm (0.8 in.) wide, ~5cm (2 in.) long strips. Stripping own body optional but recommended (to be a naked chef). Peel, then cut za carrot into thin rods about 5cm (2 in.) in length. Resist urge to joke about eating rods. Chop za onion. Relish opportunity to shed manly tears by thinking about CLANNAD / listening to Close Your Eyes. Cut the chicken meat into medium-sized pieces. If there’s a goddamn tendon in each piece like in what we use, do consider cutting that out too. Be really annoyed that you have to wash your hands and everything in general like it has ebola or something because fuck chicken. Time to start actually cooking. If you have a pan with a lid which you can both fry and stew in (Wikipedia makes me think this is a saute pan, but fuck terminology), use that. Otherwise you might have to put everything in a pot for the actual stewing stage (when you add the creamy mixture), which would be a huge bother. High heat: Lightly brown the chicken in some kind of cooking fat. Salt and pepper ’em. Medium-high heat: Sear the bell pepper, then the onion. If using a saute pan, be lazy and shove the already seared stuff to the side while searing the next item, it won’t matter really. Medium-low heat: stir the Creamy Mixture into the pan, put the lid on. Let boil softly for 5 minutes. Don’t worry, it isn’t actually that reminiscent of semen. Mix the carrots and funnel chanterelles into the pan and let boil for another 5 minutes. We call them trattkantareller in Swedish. Serve with basmati (master race) rice, which has magically appeared (I hope you actually read through the recipe once before starting on this shit, otherwise, rip in lazy recipe tradition. Don’t forget to salt the water.) Holy fuck it’s done. 3. Too late, my friend, much too late. YOU MUST INSTEAD POST PICTURES, NYA. (I said with a posed realizing-I'm-totally-necroing look)
  4. My goal this month was to get rank 5 on day 10, and I succeeded (I was 1 star away on day 8 twice and actually played against Savjz, lol - I kept running into (murloc otk) control paladin, mech mage of all things, aggro shaman, and even a mill druid - utterly terrible since like half the deck is cycle - that I had 50% of winning at last draw I had and lost to.) I kinda feel like playing something like floodzoo without gormok to actually learn how to play the game properly, but aggro freeze mage is really tempting (and what I climbed with, too.) I also beat a tempo mage that counterqueued with control warrior after I rekt him with aggro freeze. At least now that I have all the wings of the adventure, I can start playing arena again. I actually had like 1640 by the time it unlocked because I have no life (edit: f2p btw), though my first run was a disappointing 4-2 with mage and current rogue run is 1-1 with me not too confident about it.
  5. Aikatsu myself after seeing this
  6. I don't think it actually has voice acting. Otherwise all I did was try and fail to read a bit of its free android demo and fail because Fapanese without text hookers is kinda hard, so idk. It's probably decent, someone actually started a fan tl project for it a long while ago (which is now ded).
  7. Why would you get a spot on your pants from that jesus, clean yourself up properly
  8. Pressing pgup/pgdn is actually a pretty common trigger for backlog, lol. Whether it's any good is another question.
  9. Uploading atm, mediafire being slow so will take 10m. Hope you've got 7zip EDIT: done http://www.mediafire.com/download/g74mj1pt5la3r9l/Never7-ensub-movies.7z
  10. I'm pretty sure the bug where text is considered already read for skipping purposes in all character routes regardless of your actual progress has never been fixed. I don't think I ever tested it out, though.
  11. It shouldn't be too hard to find the right flags for each route in hoshimemo. New ones should appear once new routes are unlocked... or at least, that's how I remember it. There are some small extra events in the common route each time you finish a route, so might as well start again from the first choice each time.
  12. Was it this? Though it's not about plurals. It was indeed, and damn, look like I was wrong. *Considers hiring ninja to erase all traces of failure* *wonders what amount to use*
  13. I used to get a bit more annoyed about this, but these days I just go for "correct" usage and perform .1 tooth grindings whenever I see them plurali-s'd. I did not expect you of all people to post this though, Run. You trying to troll? www I'm also reminded of a scene in I/O where someone remarks that if a character had been speaking English, it would have been clearer what they meant because plurals.
  14. If you have a very, very old version (like 5 years or more) like I did, it may mysteriously fail to extract some stuff. You can try getting a newer version... but bolverk's probably right on this anyway.
  15. Hmm, you could try forcing settings using whatever program you can control your GPU with instead of using ingame stuff.
  16. HaruKuru (to troll meph with h-scenes) Eustia (to not troll meph with h-scenes) Sinkha: Hyleyn to troll everyone Get Dumped because we need a token amusing otomege Ibn al-Nafis, so you can claim you actually know something about arab history and/or feel superior because you already knew Oh, and True Remembrance as ten said earlier.
  17. Come to think of it, wing 2 of the new Hearthstone adventure releases tomorrow
  18. I'm liking dark peddler in warlock and reno's making me want to kill myself vs control... otherwise, business as usual I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/ Discover was the one mechanic I liked in the adventure, but the class card frequency increse is really interesting. I guess we'll see how things go.
  19. Definitely did. Always felt like he was at least half playing around, though. But maybe that's what he wanted everyone to think w
  20. A "circle" is a doujin creator group here.
  21. Think that would be him, yeah. The guy that decides to wreck the economy for... some reason.
  22. One thing I found amusing is that the books even gave an in-universe excuse - convergence - for the thing in epic fantasy where you start with lots of disparate perspectives and have them meet towards the end of the book(s). They're pretty good. I especially enjoyed the Mael/that cool human guy pair... it's been a while, aight? w
  23. Kouryuu gave his take on the topic recently on ask.fm. Since he's translated quite a few nukige professionally, it should be an interesting perspective.
