  1. Our thoughts and prayers with him. And yesterday I was happy to see him on the Fuwachat
  2. Thnx peeps... and Bats so Tsun
  3. The translation is very well done, in terms of visual novel standards anyway. It was localised, and localised well, and it's half the reason it's so famous.
  4. Thanks, appreciate it. You're all nicer than a certain friend of mine who said I was a year closer to dying of old age under a mountain of books
  5. That's good. There's been some complaints about using "English Language VN" to describe a VN project not developed in Asia, because what of those done in Russian? Or French? And so on. Another option would be to go with "Indie" VN project, because every Original VN project is also an Indie.
  6. That's because it is all manner of awesome.
  7. There's a difference between Rance And MGQ. Monster Girl Quest was a game for monster feitshists which incorporated ridiculously light, tacked-on-as-an-afterthought, RPG gameplay, and a story which started out as non-existent and ended up just generic. Sengoku Rance is different. The story is bad BUT the strategic turn-based gameplay is actually quite good. REALLY good, actually. Good enough to make the game an enjoyable experience without the story (I fast forwarded most of the story scenes and was just playing it like a strategic game.) How good is the gameplay? It came equal 23rd in RPGCodex's list of the top strategy games of all time. http://www.tacticularcancer.com/content.php?id=70
  8. 0.0 Us Australians seem to love Fuwa.
  9. You live in America. Fuwanovel is not hosted in America.
  10. Aaeru was a naive, young lady who couldn't predict the consequences of her actions. She got chased off the internet because everyone admired her "logical" nature. Keep bringing her up, and I'll keep laughing.
  11. Been meaning to play Rose Gun Days for the longest time, it's on my backlog of things I want to read but never find the time. Sweet review
  12. Uh-huh... you're not foolin' anyone ya know.....
  13. Got an email notification for the first time in ages. Sweeet job Nay!
  14. xD People know that a lot of the important stuff should remain behind closed doors. Which is why nobody's gone there.
  15. Likes given: PS: Got bored making this and fiddled with a couple of people's usernames for kicks. I doubt anyone will notice though.
  16. I’d like to point out how amusing and realistic it is, that the thread reminiscing over Fuwa’s past even manages to capture the feeling of drama and angst which has always been a part of Fuwa’s make-up. It makes the sense of nostalgia all the stronger You can't talk about Fuwa's tribulations without speaking about how Fuwa alienated almost the entire Visual Novel community. I wonder where that fits on the timeline XD
  17. Not only do I think it's a great idea, but I had the same idea a little while ago. I didn't think it was worth pursuing with so little activity on the Fuwazette and review site though. Also the barrier, like always, is manpower. It's a fair bit of work. But anything that increases content, or spotlights content, will always be something I will support. If you want any help, you know how to reach me
