Apparently, the line holds a subtle double meaning, playing off the literal translation of 'not seeing/noticing' but could also mean literally being 'absent' from the scene. Also, maybe consider specks instead of 'small particles'? Because you don't need 'small' in front of particle, it's a redundancy, but speck is more evocative of an image. So a quick example (it's not great but just an example) - Unsighted, specks of light began to drift from my body, and casting no reflection in nearby surfaces they slowly rose through the air before dissipating like sparks from a campfire. Maybe this gets across the idea? Dunno... But your translation so it's up to you EDITED: Paraphrased.

Chrono’s, Conjueror’s, and XReaper's are vague in nature because they limit information, leaving it up to the reader to fill in the blanks, and they’ll usually go for the most normal and obvious reason – which in this case would be they failed to see the lights flickering up from the body because their attention was focused on other matters. So in this instance this would be an undesirable case of limiting information. Dowolf’s clarifies why by indicating the light did not cast a reflection, and therefore was unable to be viewed. I think it would need to be reworded in English to achieve the desired effect. Unless, of course, it was clarified in another line and you don't want to hit the audience over the head with it. In that instance you could go for something more subtle. However, if the lights flickering up from the body remained unseen due to mundane reasons, like inattention, and not because it was a physical impossibility, then Dowolf’s is a little confusing, mainly due to that phrase not being used that way in English. So it would depend on the context I guess, but I'm getting slightly different images

It's poetic, but my concern with the ‘reflect’ line is how clear the image is to the reader. As in, when I read the line I didn’t think it meant the specs of light ‘were going unseen’, mainly because ‘reflections in people’s eyes’ don’t usually indicate people noticing or seeing something. Well, at least not in English, or I’ve never heard of it anyway, and I don’t get the logical basis for it to work as an original metaphor. I’m now looking at google to see if it’s ever been used this way, but I’m coming up with nothing and I need to run. You might want to double check that word ('reflect') works in English how you intend, because if it doesn’t it presents confusion to the reader which might not be apparent in the Japanese *shrugs*

There's other options apart from omission. If you wish to keep the added information, you’d just have to reword the sentence – He furrowed his feminine eyebrows, eyebrows he had groomed into a thin, arched shape. Or you could disguise all the adjectives – He furrowed his eyebrows, eyebrows he had groomed into a thin, arched shape that was feminine in appearance etc etc Obviously the tone would likely be changed in the last example, but I’m just showing options. But this is all stuff a good editor will fix. There's always a billion adjectives in translations xD

A few developers have tried this sort of thing, with varying amounts of success. My position really hasn't changed, I'm not a fan of developers telling me how I should play games. I like to play them my own way, and I'll actively avoid games with this sort of mechanism attached to it. That being said, I hope it does well.

Except what I type into google, and what I type in documents on my computer (for example) are two very different things. If Microsoft sees nothing wrong with accumulating typing and inking data from people's private matters on their PC, they can quite frankly go to hell. Microsoft need to start being specific at what data they're collecting. I remember the furore XBOX One's all seeing, always on, eye caused with military personnel, for example.

I think I read somewhere that Herkz thoroughly endorses this translation, 100%. Something about: "OMG I wish we at TL:Wiki could pull off such an inspirational translation" (or something to that extent.) Such an endorsement surely must mean something Caution: Rooke bears no responsibility for the accuracy, or lack thereof, in the above statement - mainly because Rooke is an arse. Take the above statement at face value at your own risk.

Not like that at all, actually. Like I said before, they freely give out the information if asked, it's on their website in the FAQ, in normal sized font, and the game they will deliver is the same 18+ game originally given out to the Japanese public, so it's not unreasonable for them to think it wasn't a gigantic issue. Users will never see all the important information, because there's only so much real estate on the page, and what's important differs from user to user. Most of the information everybody believes is important will be on the page though.

The most important thing for businesses is how much it will cost to retrain their entire workforce to use their new OS. Which is why businesses wouldn't touch Windows 8, and a lot of them were still on XP. Businesses might embrace Windows 10 though, not because Windows 10 offers a lot of advantages, but rather they don't want to be stuck with any gimmicky, shitty, weird stuff MS dreams up in the future, and figures Win 10 might be the best long term solution present.

The question is “why should it be needed”? Some part of the community does care about mosaics, but some part of the community care about a lot of things. There’s only so much real estate on the product page, so not everything can be included in big letters as soon as you enter because a certain few believe it’s the most important information. They will learn which information their fanbase most cares about in time. The fact that it will be released in the form that the Japanese received theirs in is the most important thing. Any deviation from that is just a bonus that wasn’t delivered by the original company in question. Once again, it’s in the FAQ, and once again Sekai hasn’t been shy about telling people about it. You seem to overestimate the number of people who have been kicking up a fuss though. So once again, because the information is out there, and they’ve been open and forthright about it, it isn’t dishonest.

It's honest. They never promised not to have mosaics, and an 18+ version of the game doesn't equate to an unmosaic'd 18+ version of the game. They've clearly mentioned it in other places, and will tell you if you ask, but they're also inexperienced and aren't exceptional at operating a shop (due to inexperience.) This is very different to dishonest behaviour. MG made some very early stuff ups also.

There have been some benchtests that show there's a bit of a performance upgrade. Faster boot times, faster navigation, superior restore points, that kind of thing. Not really things most users care about though, just an incremental upgrade. Also there's that thing which allows you to synchronise with your tablet and mobile. Didn't really pay much attention because it doesn't apply to me.

Windows 10 has some negligible upgrades to performance that only serious techies will care about, and some gaming upgrades only serious PC gamers will care about. An upgraded interface design which is straight from the modern Fisher Price school of art. A new gimmick in the way of a virtual assistant, which is precisely that – a gimmick, and for all Windows 10 home users, no way to deny automatic updates which is just retarded. Also, it’s incomplete, some hardware and/or software won’t work, still too much mobile influence. For me, there’s absolutely zero reason to upgrade, also Windows 7 suits my needs better than Windows 10. In fact, the majority of users will see no reason to upgrade, probably why they’re rolling it out for free. At the end of the day Windows 7 is far from being outdated, and my opinion on the matter won't change because MS thinks it knows my needs and has delusions that it can see the future.

Windows 7 still the win.
