  1. https://vndb.org/v13661 ... Yeah... that's right... I linked that. I mean, it is a maid themed game, so it fits!!! (On a serious note, it is quite the enjoyable nukige, if you like trap x trap. If you're not a trap fan, don't touch it.)
  2. Been looking forward to this one for quite a while now. (Of course it has to come out this friday, when I have to study my ass off for my mock exam on monday... Damnit Key! )
  3. *Deds waifu* Hah!

Those are some goddamn majestic eyebrows, I have to admit

  5. :3 :3 That sucks. Guess the patch isn't compatible with this version. Idk anything about the technical stuff, so I have no idea how to fix it. Maybe someone else around here does though.
  6. It's asking "exit the game? Yes, no?" Basically, you are saying yes to "close the game?", so that's why it's closing Sadly I have no idea why you are getting this message if you aren't actually exiting the game...
  7. That's pretty cool! I have never played Lamune, so might give it a try now.
  8. This is the reason why I'm mad at my friend in Japanese class. His name is literally just "Chi." So yeah. His name is one katakana... So unfair. アンドレアス takes some time to write, and it sounds dumb with the "do" and "su" there. えくりぷす (エクリプス) is better in my opinion. Your name does start with "e", so using "i" instead seems a bit odd.
  9. U no drink soda! Soda mine!
  10. What's your favourite OELVN? One Thousand Lies Will OELVNs ever be as good as Japanese VNs? No... Why are OELVNs generally considered worse than Japanese VNs? Because they are, 90% of the time. Yes, there is good OELVNs out there, (like One Thousand Lies), but it's quite rare to find them. Another issue is that most of them are made by indie developers with very small budgets, making it look rather "amateurish". I hate to say it, but the truth is, even the most amazingly written game can still look bad to most onlookers compared to the new, shiny, high budget VNs you can play instead. I think that's the biggest issue with OELVNs trying to make it in this market. And of course, the high amount of crap. (Sakura games and what not is a thing after all.) To clearify, I'm not saying art is the most important thing in games, in fact it probably is the least important when you think about it, but first impressions is a real thing, and when you compare something with amazingly fresh and stunning art to something that looks like it was made in paint, people will naturally think the one with nicer art is better, even if it actually is bad in all the other aspects. What are the attributes that make OELVNs stand out (in a positive way) from their Japanese counterparts? They are usually written very differently, and this makes for a cool, new experience. Recommend a random (relatively unknown) OELVN I'm just going to recommned One Thousand Lies, because it's really good, and everyone should play it. (And it's free!)
  11. (Since I'm a bit of a creep, I tend to like fanservice like this, so no complaints from me ) but I get what you mean. I see how that can be annoying, especially if it goes away from the tone of the game.
  12. I haven't actually played any of these yet, but the one that interests me the most is Inochi no Spare, so I'm voting for that.
  13. Why is this on the negative side?! This just made me more interested!!! Erhem, anyways... Nice review Fred. I look even more forward to reading it now. (Because of the review, not the fanservice thing. Mostly )
  14. Yes, another one! I love these. A bunch of nukige for 10$ is pretty damn cheap. (Not to mention it has several softhouse-seal games. They make pretty damn high quality nukige.) I already own Lapis Gunner, so if you want that code, let me know and I'll pm it to you.
  15. Finished New Game, and I loved it. So cute, so funny and the art... so pretty. The ending was really nice too. Such a nice little slice of life show. Going to have to watch that again sometime.
  16. I have 2 special edition physical copies on the way, Flowers and Root Double. Also have the Princess Evangile physical copy, with the artbook and physical OST, as well as the Miagete Goran limited edition box at home. So only 4, (but damn, those 4 were expensive enough... If only I was a millionare.)
  17. Then why has there not been a single update past "picked up"?! Give us something... Erhem, anyways, always nice to see companies do these types of interviews.
  18. If you haven't played it yet, Nikuniku fits pretty well. I have also been reading Tokage no Shippo Kiri recently, and it has been quite the mindfuck so far. Think that should fit decently too.
  19. Best of luck! I would also suggest focusing a little bit more on grammar, and a little bit less on kanji. The kanji is indeed important, but without the grammar to use them in a sentence, they won't help much. Anyways, again, best of luck!
  20. Shut up! Don't think you are better than us just because lolis are legal in your country! (... can I move into your house plox? )
  21. Well I mean, you CAN always use a machine translator, if you really want to play it. Not ideal, but with simple slice of life games like this, it should at least provide a readable result.
  22. Have you read Girl Friends? (It's yuri, if that wasn't obvious.) The manga is really cute, funny and the romance is great. It also offers a very good and satisfying ending, and it's finished, so it should fit the criteria pretty well. It's one of my favorite manga series.
  23. Some beautiful VN CGs.
  24. Welcome! Nice to meet you. Another scandinavian joins our ranks. We are soon set to take over Fuwa!
  25. One week after learning the hiragana? Wtf? Vocabulary and writing basics, ok. Counting from 1-10, okay. (Once you have those down, you can count to 99 as well, fair enough.) But all the other crap crammed into one test, a simple week after learning hiragana? That is absurd. Not to mention verbs in the second week?! Dafuq?! What book are these people following? (Sweet lord don't say Genki, because if that is the case, they are literally doing it wrong.) I mean, I already know Japanese, and I find myself rather swamped right now, because of all the stuff I have to turn in. I don't have to learn it beforehand, I just have to write it down and hand it in. You must be in hell, lol. Well, best of luck Eclipsed, and may God have mercy on your soul. 頑張ってください!
