  1. I saw a few episodes on Oniisama E (from 1991) a few years back, and the only thing that stopped me from watching the rest was how impossible it was to find at the time. I think it's getting an official release now, though, so I'll probably finish it soon enough. As for things I watched to (near) completion, I hink it was Marmalade boy, from 1994.
  2. I honestly didn't care too much for Kuon, but I do wish that we had gotten a Qoo Little-Little route. The game-obsessed loli alien was the best character in the game (not to mention voiced by Aoba Ringo), but she didn't get a route. I think she gets an H-scene in the fandisc though.
  3. I don't have any specific feelings on NTR, since I don't usually put myself in the shoes of the protagonist. I just hate when the one doing the NTR is ugly, since it detracts from the scene. For example, the only NTR game I've played even a little bit of is Dark Blue, and while two heroines were taken by semi-attractive (if mentally scummy) guys, the third girl was taken by her fat, middle-aged, generally hideous and rotten teacher after being blackmailed. The first two girls had some pretty decent scenes (rapey context aside), but the third girl's were practically unwatchable.
  4. Here's my character Ayumi in 16-bit form (A little blurry due to resizing, but what can you do?)
  5. I played and enjoyed Euphoria a little while back, so I'm relatively interested in it. I don't necessarily like the darker fetish elements that are going to be involved (they certainly weren't the reason I loved Euphoria so much), but I'm interested to see if it has a dark yet amazing story like Euphoria did.
  6. I played the PSP release for Persona 1, but never cleared the final boss. Eventually I gave up and moved onto P3P, which I cleared in about a month- it took about 50 hours of staring at my PSP screen, but it was worth it. I bought Innocent Sin for my PSP a while back too, but didn't get into it and ended up selling it. I'm actually fighting the final boss in P4 on my PS2 right now (to get the true ending), but so far I've had no luck. It took about a year for me to get around to beating the boss before that, so I'm a little worried about how long I'll take on this one. -_- Oh, and for my final project in my computer art class, I'm making a P4 version of Candyland (We had to remake a board game). It's coming out pretty nicely- I basically switched the locations in the original board game with the dungeons/locations from the game, and threw their respective characters in there. So, yeah, I guess you could say I'm a bit of a Persona fan.
  7. I'll do it in taiko mode. I've been meaning to get back into Osu. EDIT: Wow, I just tried playing through it. I only made it about halfway before giving up out of exhaustion. I'll still do it, but I'll have to do some serious endurance training before then.
  8. I remember playing it (as my first eroge, actually) because I had watched the anime when it came out in the US. I think that's why it has a decent amount of popularity. As for me, I downloaded the trial, and I'm really looking forward to the full version coming out. Kaede is my favorite Shuffle heroine, so I've been waiting for it. This was great news to wake up to.
  9. I went ahead and included one digital and one done just in pencil, since I'll probably end up using both methods in the real contest.
  10. Wow, this summer is going to be interesting- the Otoge fans are going to have their Dramatical Murder anime, and the Eroge fans are getting Grisaia. Both have pretty popular English translations too, so I'm guessing they'll both be all over the internet when they come out. Personally, though, I'm actually pretty excited for the Grisaia adaptation. I'm not expecting perfection- Little Busters taught me never to expect TOO much- but even if it's not a scene-for-scene copy of the game, it'll still be interesting to see the characters animated, and to see the story unfold in a different format.
  11. Oh hey, I have the game that came from (Dark Blue). I need to finish it sometime... As for my contributions:
  12. I finally finished Muv Luv Alternative. I need something lighter after all that, so I'm playing My Girlfriend is the President.
  13. I said that I could do kana, basic kanji, and some clauses, but I'm really only ~halfway through even the basic kanji, and I'm pushing my way through a grammar book I picked up at a thrift shop. Kanji is getting easier for me as I get used to it, but I still have a loooong way to go.
  14. I'm in! I want the Flowers LE, although I'm still early enough in my Japanese studies that it could be a while before I play it. -_-
  15. I FINALLY got back to Persona 4 after about a year, because I FINALLY finished fighting the second-to-last boss before the true ending. I forgot how much I loved the Personaverse; I'll have to replay P3P again sometime soon. I'm also playing South Park: Stick of Truth on my PC, and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite games. I'm just getting into South Park in general, so I'm really having fun watching the episodes for the first time, then seeing references in the game right after.
  16. Hmm, this looks kind of fun. Name: Suikashoujo Title: Yuri Queen Avatar: My forum avatar is fine Gender: Female Birthday: July 21 Favorite Visual Novel: Grisaia no Kajitsu Card based on: Little Busters! Looking forward to seeing how it comes out.
  17. I played it, because I can't not play these things. Tomato best fruit.
  18. I've been trying to plan out a possible VN story for a few months now. I do have character designs and motivations, and I'm almost done outlining the common route. But I haven't even tried to mess with Renpy or Novelty, and I'm still mapping out how the story would progress, so I have a loooong way to go before I even know if this project is possible. I don't want to say too much about it since everything is still so uncertain, but basically it's a twist on the whole harem aspect of VNs- the main guy is suddenly surrounded by 5 different girls, and he's forced to pick one of them. The catch? He only has a very limited amount of time to make his decision. Which wouldn't be a problem if the girls weren't all total strangers, or if there wasn't a LOT more at stake than just who gets to be his girlfriend. Basically, I'll need to figure out how to program, compose music, make backgrounds, and improve my art a little bit more. But it's a nice goal to have; I'd love to put out at least one VN someday.
  19. I used to be really into BL- the first time I got into any sort of fandom, I was writing fanfiction with those sorts of relationships all the time. Recently though, I've fallen out of that, and gotten really into yuri. I don't have anything against BL- Dramatical Murder is on my list of games to play when I get the chance, and I have at least one shounen-ai anime box set sitting on my bookshelf that I'd like to rewatch- but I'm not as interested in it as I used to be. Yuri, on the other hand... yeah, I like yuri quite a bit. And switching from yaoi to yuri in such a short amount of time made it really, really obvious that- like others above me have said- it's MOSTLY gender-based as to who's interested in what. Of course there are going to be exceptions- my best friend and I are both female, and we actively talk about shoujo-ai when we're together. But as a general rule, females tend to be more openly into yaoi, and males tend to be the target audience for yuri.
  20. The first anime I ever watched was Hamtaro, when I was 6. Although, I had no idea what anime was at the time- I had refused to watch Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, even though they were popular, for... some reason, I don't know. (I got really into both eventually, though). I only knowingly got into manga and anime when I went to the bookstore and wandered into the manga section. I remember really liking the cover to the first volume of Genshiken, for some reason. But the first manga I ever bought and read was a collection of Di Gi Charat short stories. Kind of an odd starting place, looking back on it (There are a LOT of references to otaku culture that even the translation notes couldn't help me with at the time) but I thought it was cute, so I was hooked.
  21. I've been following this project for a while; I'm glad there's finally been a release! So far everything is working great on my PSP. Between this, the Saya no Uta port I found, and Hakuoki, I've finally got a reason to pull out my PSP again.
  22. When I got my LG G2 Android phone last month, I went in there knowing I didn't want an iPhone. Most people I know are diehard Apple fans, mostly because of the simplicity. But I like customizing things, and everything I want to do with my phone is impossible with the iPhone. So I don't regret my decision at all. As for some good apps, I would second the Utorrent suggestion: It makes getting things onto your phone 100 times easier. For music I haven't really settled on anything yet, and the video app that came with the phone hasn't caused any problems for me yet, so I haven't got anything for that either. I've only had my phone for a month, so I don't really have any good suggestions here, to be honest.
  23. I finally completed Muv Luv Extra/Unlimited today, so now I've just started Alternative. I'm pretty excited for this one.
  24. The best-written ero scenes were the ones in Grisaia, just because they made me laugh. The best example of that was in Makina's route, where they lightened the mood from all the awful things happening around them. Normally though, I only read the scenes with the girls I really like. The rest I tend to click through so I can get back to the story.
  25. My personal favorite. I really hope this one is actually being translated by Mangagamer; I want to reread it with a non-machine translation. Nemu is a top-tier heroine.
