  1. Honestly, most of what JAST has released\ has scheduled to release holds no interest for me. They aren't awful, but Mangagamer has- nukige aside- way more that interests me. Da Capo III, Innocent Grey's titles, and Bokuten are all unreleased games I want, just to name a few.
  2. I got through most of KnJ a year or 2 ago, but it wasn't finished at the time, and I never bothered to check the updates. I'll have to do it eventually, though, since it was surprisingly really good. Pretty sure that was one where I came to see just how far it would go ( all I knew was that it was so perverted that the American release was cancelled), and stayed because of the plot.
  3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KfM0_rGRi0 Edit: And who could forget... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_xhYlzDq0s
  4. I have so many games lined up to play. But after I finish the Muv Luv trilogy, I'll probably do My Girlfriend is the President, Sharin no Kuni, and it's fandisc next. Beyond that? Who knows.
  5. I'm reading Aku no Hana. What an... interesting story. But it's a trainwreck that I can't take my eyes off of, and it's incredible.
  6. Let's see, I play guitar every once in a while- it's something I wish I had more time to do. And when I'm at school, I do a lot of drawing. I fill up sketchbooks really fast, even though I rarely do anything when I'm not in class.
  7. I've only played 12 on the list so far... I have a long way to go.
  8. I only did Lily, Hanako, and a little over half of Rin's route in Katawa Shoujo before I stopped because of computer problems (read: dead pixels on over half my laptop screen). I even downloaded the game onto my new laptop back when I bought it in July, but I still haven't finished it. I do plan to eventually, for sure, but I have a lot of other VNs piled up too, so who knows when I'll finish it?
  9. Honestly, it would have been nice if they had just given her a sprite. Also, my vote (in that other, similar topic) was Rin from Shinikiss. I think I rated that game lower just because I was mad about the lack of a route for her.
  10. I used to LOVE Yugioh Abridged. It's what got me into Yugioh (my previous/first fandom) a few years ago. I haven't been watching it lately (I still haven't seen the newest episode), and I don't watch many abridged series anymore, but I used to be REALLY into it. And I may or may not still have my "Card Games on Motorcycles" shirt laying around.
  11. People assume that I'm smart, and that I get good grades. I can do basic things, sure, but my grades are in a range from decent to awful. Though a lot of that is laziness on my part, since I'm almost completely unmotivated to get anything done.
  12. I wrote a fanfic for that contest too, although didn't get any fancy awards for it. :/ But I've actually written quite a few fanfics in the past few years (although not nearly as often recently, since I've sort of fallen out of the fandom I used to write for). It was a lot of fun, when I still had the time and motivation to do it.
  13. I'm actually enjoying the humor in Extra so far. It's a little generic, but it's not unbearable (like some people have said).
  14. Finished Rewrite last night. It wasn't perfect, but it was still pretty excellent, so I gave it a 9/10. Next up for me: The Muv-Luv trilogy.
  15. What comes to your mind when you see a NSFW tag? Anything remotely sexual. I've seen everything from girls in bikinis to hardcore porn get tagged with this, so it's kind of a broad spectrum. Do you think content like that is "bad" or is the whole hidding "non-public-friendly" material total BS? I think it depends on the content in question. There's some porn out there that's so extreme that it has no real place in society, outside of it's small intended audience. That said, I think it's ridiculous how bent out of shape some people get over the slightest hints of sexual content in most situations. Would you like see that on the streets or is it better left hidden in the "dark corners" of the internet? Again, it depends. Do I want to see pictures of brutal rape scenes posted where everyone can see them? No, that's unreasonable for a number of reasons. But in terms of things like nudity (which gets labeled as NSFW even if it's being used in a tasteful context), I think it could- in an ideal world, without so many people who want to "protect the children" from knowing what they'll look like in the future- be a possibility. (I should also add that this isn't necessarily me "wanting to see it"- I just wish people would loosen up about things like these). IF you have children would you/do you let them watch NSFW in their early ages? I don't plan on having children. BUT, if I did, I would take a more neutral stance on it- I wouldn't put them in front of a computer screen while they were young and show them those sorts of things, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stop them from seeing it, either. I know I've been bypassing the "Are you 18?" screens for years, and I don't think I've ended up any worse because of it. My parents taught me not to make stupid decisions, and even after I first saw NSFW content on the internet, it's not like I was scarred for life. When did you encounter your first NSFW experience? I want to say I was about 10 years old. I went on Newgrounds and saw a bunch of anime-style games, ignoring the fact that some were clearly rated for adults. I think I played Simgirls a lot, although that was still tamer than some of the other ones I found. *Do you think Fuwa should be open to NSFW? Why? I don't see any reason to change how it is. I wouldn't CARE if that stuff was here, but I don't think it's necessary, either. If you want to see that stuff, go to the main site and download something.
  16. I read that during my sophomore year of high school (we did a semester-long focus on dystopian novels). I remember enjoying it a lot, although the writing style took getting used to. As for my favorite book, I don't really think I have one- I've read a LOT of books over the years. But I remember liking Misery by Stephen King and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey.
  17. I'm assuming this was the article (at least, this was what I saw): But that was posted exactly a year ago as of today, and there still hasn't been any new information. Too bad, really: I'd love to see what they're planning for the anime.
  18. Satonaka Rin from Shinigami no Kiss wa Wakare no Aji. The girl even confesses her love to the protag at the beginning of the game. Tbh, I would have preferred a route about her to the Honoka route.
  19. I know that, though. That's why Kaede was in the anime section.
  20. Watched the first half of Bakemonogatari yesterday, and I'm reall y enjoying it. I'll probably check out the rest of the Monogatari series once I finish, so that's what's coming up for me. ...Although, I need to get caught up on Sakura Trick sooner or later in between all that.
  21. Planning to buy an android phone sometime tomorrow, so this should come in handy!
  22. My least favorite character? Probably The MC from Yandere. God, that guy was a douche. I have to admit that I probably cheered during some of the endings, where he got what was coming to him. He ruined the game for me- and Yandere wasn't even a good game in the first place.
  23. 2 and 16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcHt733Yin8 Edit: One of my numbers was already taken, and my song wasn't from a game. Whoops. Both are fixed now.
  24. Little Busters was the first VN that made me cry, too. Great review; really covered everything good and bad about the game. (And I loved Nishizono as a character, don't get me wrong. But yeah, I was pretty disappointed by her route compared to the others. Kud's was pretty good, though, as well as the others you mentioned.)
  25. That was harder than expected.
