This is almost coercion. Am I supposed to say no to this?

The guy's face truly represents the one reaction to the situation he's just found himself in.

  3. Good Birthday, and happy luck with your newest project.

    1. Arcadeotic

      Arcadeotic

Thank you very much. I appreciate it.

  4. The artstyle is the best part, and the cat-thing is the best character. Aside from that, I do not believe it at all changes. If you're not enjoying it thus far, I suppose I would regrettably recommend that you simply let this show go, and move on.
  5. Speaking of strange Sims stories, one of my sims just got up in the middle of the night, all his needs fulfilled, and expired right there. Granted he was an Elder, but what kind of damnable luck do you need to die of old age 2 days after becoming an elder? He was my income earner! The old woman he's married to has a miserable pension of 100. Good God what am I to do now? How do I take care of the two children? I've barely got a 1000 as is. RIP And it's situations like this one, glitches, relationships, silly things, that make the sims as a game stick. I'll go mourn with the rest of the family, now. We'll probably have to sell our TV, now.
  6. I must be quite the casual gamer. Currently playing The Sims 3, and this thing can be hilarious when it wants to. I just dared another Sim to "Divide by 0", which led her to eventually catch fire as she desperately tried to.
  7. And such is the story of how Zenophilious lost his job.
  8. That is weird. This release continues to puzzle me. They've messed up and made CG's disappear before, but I was fairly sure this was a direct port of the all-ages version.
  9. You're in clear need of clarification. Firstly: IMHHW had such a poor translation and censoring that a full route was completely impossible to understand. If I were to compare the translations, I subjectively prefer this one. Secondly: IMHHW went so far as to censor mentions of breasts and kissing scenes. This version does no such thing, and actually remains pretty risque (the following images are from the steam version: What was effectively removed was the loli bathing scene, which is admittedly troubling to bring to the west regardless of which approach they took. In that last post you can also see some engine differences between the original and this port of the mobile all-ages version.
  10. "Josei is like Shoujo but for adults."

Whether you find the previous comment stupid or not determines the kind of person you are.

      havoc

whether i find the previous statement stupid or not is irrelevant, all that matter is whether i believe it or not.

  11. Yeah, but whilst you have every reason to care about what I like, I don't care in the least about what you think. Unless it's about VNs. In which case, (What's the problem with bad writing anyway?)
  12. Confession: I don't like it when people don't like VNs.
  13. I wish I were. I simply can't help but be assaulted by the heat every night. Were I less sensitive, I'd be able to put up with it. Also, not calling me by my due name is less of an insult than being unable following basic courtesy.
  14. The previous two quotes just about got the short of it. The long of it is a bit more complicated, but don't worry, I'm not facing any penalties worse than the death row. Pardon me, but my I ask what kind of dyslexia you have? Furthermore, how's your eyesight? Finally, do you happen to possess eyes at all? As I've specified rather clearly: Shoo Shoo, you're jamming the traffic. I'm afraid you may be lost. Are you sure this is the thread you intended to post this on? For Peace. You monster.
  15. Probably. It'll be, like, in English and stuff! All of a sudden the Japanese original will go, like, poof! Ruined!
  16. It's a feature. Nothing to see here. Move on.
  17. Is it possible to invert a colour that would result in golden? Either way, "the negative of a photo" is only the closest resemblance he could come up with. He did not actually picture a photo. I do believe I am insensitive, yes. Regardless of circumstances, there's less blunt ways to disregard others' beliefs. In any case, I don't particularly care that I am insensitive, and it makes for an excellent punchline.
  18. Confession: I have no where else to elicit replies from the following post, leading me to repost it here.
  19. I feel it is worthy of both my time and yours to make this announcement. As of this day, and I'm sure you can check the date yourself, my forum name has changed due to personal reasons. My insincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused. In my benevolence, allow me to inform you that you are permitted to address me as you did previously if you would so prefer. I won't blame you for it. I expected no better from you anyway. If you don't know who I am, then this message surely wasn't intended for you, in which case, shoo shoo -- you're clogging up the traffic. Have a good day.
  20. I want it so I can hold another giveaway myself. I'm sure people will like me then!
  21. Rooke showed up before I did, but my point is the same. On the topic of 'revealing the murderer': It's a good mindset to come into the series aware that "who did it" is not often nearly as important a question as "how did they do it" and "how do I prove it". These games are quite indeed more about battling with the prosecution and the witnesses so as to prove and discover how things went down. Often enough you'll come across cases where the culprit is quite obvious, sometimes even through a simple process of elimination. If you get disappointed every time you think "the culprit was so obvious" you'll get disappointed quite often in this game.
  22. Sounds great... Let's say this is my first time trying out a game of this type (it effectively isn't, but let's say it is). Would this be a good entry point?
  23. Confession: In real life I'm exceedingly excellent at saying hello cheerfully, asking for anything in an overly polite way and being silly by myself in the background. The same cannot be said of actually engaging in conversation, and asking me a question has a 70% chance of making me have an emotional and/or nervous breakdown.
