Another annoying thing in dubs is when the actors can't pronounce the names. I remember watching the Happy Lesson dub once, and there was at least one character that said "Chitose" without the "e" at the end... making it sound more like "Cheetos."

Full Metal Panic is one of the few shows I'll still watch dubbed. Gunslinger Girl was pretty good, too. The Higurashi dub is one of the more terrible ones I remember watching.

I'm more of a nakige person than a chuuni person, so chances are I'll actually be able to take part this month.

I like watermelon (Suika), but obviously when I first came up with the idea to use it on a different site, it was already taken. So I thought, "hey, why not add the word Shoujo at the end? That has a nice ring to it." And the name stuck.

When I replaced my laptop last summer, I had looked into getting a Chromebook because it was cheap. Thankfully, I realized that this was a terrible idea, and I got a PC. Then, starting that school year, my school started phasing in its new program where each student gets their own Chromebook. That won't actually happen until next year (after I leave, thank god), but every once in a while, we have to use them in one of my classes. They're some of the most useless pieces of trash I've ever had to use- you'd better hope it never loses internet connection (which happens a lot when an entire classroom is using them at once), because they are literally unusable if they do. I've had entire class periods pass where nothing got done because Google Drive kept going offline. So tl;dr don't even bother.

I ended up dropping that one after like 5 episodes. I just couldn't do it anymore.

The second season of Wixoss was pretty disappointing at first, but these last couple episodes have more than redeemed the show. They've clearly been building up to that final scene since episode 1, which made it REALLY satisfying to watch. Makes me remember why I liked the first season.

Oh, Yugioh.... Up until about this time last year, I was really, REALLY into Yugioh. Interestingly enough, though, I only played the card game for a fraction of that time: I was more into the show (the original, with Yugi) than the game mostly because I was really, really bad at it. I actually own over half the manga volumes (never did collect them all- even 38 volumes was too long for me when my local bookstores were missing all but maybe 2 of them) and the first season box set. But when I seriously started to get into VNs, I kind of lost interest. I was more into the villains than anything, though. Bakura and Marik will always have a special place in my heart.

I was already planning to buy this game, but the demo got me even more excited. I mean, just LOOK at them. Ultra-moe. Vanilla best neko

They really are milking that game hard, huh? As expected from Moenovel. First a crippled mobile app, now a Steam release... if we can't play this VN on a microwave by this time next year, I will be genuinely shocked.

Awww, I was going to do Rewrite HF. I bought this because ever since I played it for the first time when the patch came out, I've been in love with Little Busters. When I saw this on Amazon for about $15, I knew I had to have it. Makes me glad I never splurged on one of the $60+ copies of the regular edition I used to see floating around ebay. This one has an artbook the size of a small manga volume and an arrange CD.

God, even some of the EASY problems are beyond difficult. I have some figured out so far, but there's no way I'll be able to get all 60.

I think it depends what you're looking for- I know there's a lot I would recommend, but my tastes might be entirely different. My favorites are: Gunslinger Girl (for drama) Full Metal Panic (for action/comedy) Azumanga Daioh (for slice of life) Denpa Teki na Kanojo (for horror) Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (for romance) Angel Beats (more drama)

Yeeeeah, I wasn't a fan of Kagome as a heroine, either. Her route was really good- enough that it improved my overall impression of the game- but for some reason, she just irritated me for the majority of the scenes she was in. I understand why she had to be there, but I don't really understand the appeal. To each their own, though, I guess. I liked Mayuki.

So today we'll probably see them do Sachi's route... in one episode. I'm bracing myself now. EDIT: Well, I GUESS they covered what they needed to... So after Yumiko, I'm not really surprised, but I still wish they had given Sachi the two episodes instead of Michiru. Neither is a hugely important route, but I would argue that Sachi's had more to talk about.

I would agree with that. I wasn't into most of the game, but the ending was fantastic.

They did say several months ago that they had a new game. Maybe they'll finally announce that.

To be honest, even an adaptation of nothing but common route would have been better than this. The atmosphere in the anime is COMPLETELY different from the game.

I know a lot of people- myself included- have said that the Shuffle anime improved on the game in a lot of ways.

This is too tempting... I'm in.

I patched the game myself, but I was unable to watch either of the credits videos without the game crashing- I had to skip through them entirely to continue. Which was painful in the case of the second chapter, as I had just read pretty much the entire second half of it without saving, and had to skip through all of it. So I think it's a problem with the game/ patch in general, not just the Fuwa version.

Well, Michiru already had 2 episodes, and judging by the next few episode titles, so will Makina. Who knows how much of the remaining 4 episodes will be Amane. But there's no way Sachi's route is making it out unscathed if they're forcing it into one episode, which they pretty much definitely are.

I feel bad for the Yumiko fans, honestly. I personally wasn't a fan of her to begin with, but I wouldn't wish that kind of adaptation on any heroine from any game. And it looks like my favorite girl's route is up next... I'm not really looking forward to it anymore.
