That's exactly the issue. I have no problem playing 18+ eroge, but I would REALLY rather not have something laying around the house that could reveal it to my mom. Even if I'm less than a year from turning 18, that's a conversation I'd really rather not have. I've already come dangerously close to getting caught playing them, and that was nerve-wracking enough.

I ended up dropping Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete, just because nothing of value has happened in about 4-5 episodes. So far, my favorites for the season are Amagi Brilliant Park and Parasyte. Amagi isn't doing anything very groundbreaking, but WOW is it a fun show to watch. I end up looking forward to it more than any of my other shows, just because it's so funny. But leaving that aside, Parasyte is so well made that I can't not give it a spot at the top. So for right now, they're tied.

It depends, really. The fact that I'm still in high school rules out buying pretty much anything 18+ for the time being, although that will probably change once I move out. I do pick of physical copies when I can though, and I have some digital copies, too. My collection has come from all over the place, as I buy used the majority of the time. In case anyone's curious, this is my collection so far. I don't think it's too bad, considering my lack of options and money

That G-Senjou with the Sharin artbook looks incredible. All these videos and photos are only making me want to travel over to Japan more. Life goals... Hope you're enjoying yourself, though. Japan really does seem like a fun place.

I've read some of these, but it's nice to have some other recommendations since I can never seem to find good manga with yandere. For the record, my favorite of these is Oniichan Control. I'm not even into imoutos, but combine one of my favorite manga artists with an awesome yandere, and it's pretty much an instant-win.

I watched Hamtaro when I was six years old, but I didn't know what it was until much later. I actually started with manga before anime (I was a big reader when I was younger), but I think I started watching anime with Pokemon in 3rd grade because it was easily accessible.

The only reason I'm sticking with it is because it's so fun seeing some of my favorite characters animated. If I drop my expectations low enough, I'm pretty sure I can just enjoy it for what it is- an adaptation of one of my favorite visual novels.

The H content does take a surprisingly long time to show up- the first trial released only reached the first one, and that was over an hour of reading. But when it finally does start, it keeps going at full force until the end. Good luck on this one, though. Its been 3 months, and I'm still not completely over it.

Well, that was one way of adapting Michiru's route. Some of the best scenes were completely cut out. It was probably fine to people who haven't played the game, but some of the missing stuff (that wasn't even romantic in nature) would have made it a lot better, imo. That said, I get why they only gave a minor route like hers 2 episodes, and I know the only way to fit it into That time frame is to cut some scenes. But still, mildly disappointed.

When it comes to something presumably plot-light like this, questionable English is far better than no English. I'll be checking this out for sure, if only for the cute catgirls.

Yeah, this is one that I was somewhat disappointed in, tbh. Mayuki was cute and some of the side characters were alright, but I wasn't a fan of most of the other characters, which is kind of a problem in a character-driven VN. Maybe I'm just not enough of an action/fantasy fan.

I love osananajimi characters, which I'm pretty sure can, in my case, be traced back to Kaede from Shuffle. Preferably, though, they won't be tsundere variation, because my dislike of tsundere does still manage to outweigh my love of childhood friends. I like how dedicated they are, usually. I mean, it's just so cute when their feelings are finally returned that I usually don't care if it's cliche. That said, though, twists in the formula can be pretty interesting if done right.

I'm surprised they managed to cram that much of Michiru's route into one episode, and still make it flow reasonably well. But that said, I don't think I would have been so affected by the ending of the episode if I was experiencing it for the first time through the anime. They moved FAST.

For me, it goes Komari>Rin>Kurugaya>Mio>Kud>Haruka in terms of how much I liked them as heroines, but my route order is really different. For routes, it's probably Komari>Haruka>Rin>Kud>Mio>Kurugaya. (With Refrain standing above all of them, of course.) That said, I didn't necessarily dislike any of the girls, which is refreshing.

Good to see another person has realized Komarimax's greatness. her route was the first I played, so maybe that makes her special to me, but I actually really liked the message of her route. It certainly applied to some things I've had happen in my life. That, and she's just so darn huggable... I want to eat sweets on the roof with her! ...yeah, she's my favorite LB girl. Seriously.

I might make another one later then, but here's one to start off with.

I got "Sylph, the Wind Elemental." I got a better monster of the same type not too long after though, so she hasn't seen much use. Also, only half the time to restore stamina? I might need to get the Japanese version. I'm always annoyed that I have to wait so long to keep playing.

Oh, my friend got me to start playing this just a few weeks ago. My number in the English version is 338,733,398.

Probably ef- the latter tale. It's been a long time since a game surprised and "wowed" me that much. The visuals and the plot were both top-notch. It probably wouldn't have surprised me so much if I hadn't been so underwhelmed by the first tale, though.

I'm still amazed that I managed to get them all. Motivation does some crazy things for me, like making me comb through forums and old streams for hours on end to find 9 anagrams. Seriously, it's a good thing I had no other plans the day I did it. Also, looking at these anagrams again made me realize that I forgot the answers. If I forgot them after only a month or two, then they really WERE hard.

I'm honestly amazed at how far they took the Amane scene at the beginning of the episode. Even with the glow censor, that was pretty intense. At least we know that pretty much any humor from the VN is fair game, huh?
